Reviews of Trenchard Street Car Park
C. W.
Convenient large car park for visiting harbourside, the aquarium, Bristol Uni or the UHB hospitals. Much better value than some of the privately owned car parks in the city centre. Be sure to note which exit level you need and what level you park on, because the car park is huge. The lifts have now got an excellent feature where you have to swipe your entry issued ticket to use the lifts. We found that we waited much less time for a lift since this was introduced. Try to bring some change with you so you can still pay if the card machine isn’t working, particularly as staying a bit longer can quite dramatically increase the cost. Reasonably priced car park that is walking distance from Stoke Croft and Old City. There are 8 levels and plenty of space even on weekends
Not the cleanest of car parks though. The stairways smell of urine.
M.
Hello,
This car park is situated in the ideal location. I found the pay stations were fine, but I would always recommend that you have cash and card at hand, just in case.
It is smelly in the stairwells and would benefit from a deep clean and a lick of paint.
But I do like how the lights brighten as you walk along and then dim again, I felt like I was one of the X Men, sorry I need to get out more!!
S. S.
Spaces aren't too tight - I couldn't work out if there were child spaces so simply parked in an ordinary space and it was ok, despite therr pillar. Cost felt a little high - we stayed over 4 hours, so £13.50. Pedestrian exits are limited and there is a lift but signage could definitely be better.
A. C.
Watch out, if you stay longer than 4 hours the price jumps massively from £5.50 to £12!
The stairs could do with some cleaning.
But plenty of space!
C. O.
Almost always able to get in here. Useful for Hospital visits although a few hundred metres to walk to the BRI. £3.50 between 6pm and midnight and you can pre-pay if you arrive after 6pm. Only a short walk to the Bristol Hippodrome and even closer to the Bristol Beacon. Useful for St Georges too as long as you exit on level 8. Lifts work using your ticket.
P. P.
Our go to car park when we visit central Bristol. Run by the City Council it is cheaper than the NCP.
The spaces and the driving lanes seem a reasonable size and there's not too many posts in the way making it fairly easy to negotiate.
It's on the side of a hill with the exit on the 8th floor! It seems weird to go up to get out!
It has number plate recognition so if you've paid at the machines in the stairwells the barriers let you straight out.
A. E.
Usually spaces available. Great for visiting sick people at the BRI. However, their pricing system is unfair for day visitors. If one does not get back before 6pm, then they will be charged an extra £3.50 on top of the number of hours they've been there up to 6pm. I went over by 30 minutes and a few minutes. I was charged £13.50 one day, the next £9.50. It is OK if ones are going to a show at the theatres, as the standard charge of £3.50 after 6pm applies. I used the park & ride one day - only cost a fiver. Clearly cheaper to travel by bus.
J. W.
Great for hippodrome but hard to find entrance. Also if lone female would be worried about the homeless people by the ticket machines telling you what to do. Also very smelly of pee etc in stairwells
n. p.
Great place to park in Bristol for an evening event. Cheap evening rate. Good tip is to pay at the machine when you park to avoid massive queue when you leave.
J. P.
VERY large carpark, but we'll situated in the town. You enter on level 4, but exit on either level 1 or level 8, such is the steepness of the ground it's built on. There are pay stations on level 1, level 5 and level 8. If you visit the Hippodrome Theatre, which is near to this carpark, all the pay stations are all in high demand after a show. Quite long queues form just to pay. Could really do with more pay stations.
D. H.
Good carpark, dont mind the urine smell, you get used to it! i do however HATE the people doing tiktoks on the roof, nearly smacked into one of them the other day, they tried recording me so i simply drove away. stupid kids.
N. K.
There are 9 to ten floor. Grond floor and 8F floor has exit. If you are coming to pick up your car please make sure you arrive at the right floor!!!!! Otherwise you will be like me had to walk from ground floor to the 9F to pick up my car! (I was following Google map using the rent vixo scooter and got the wrong location)
N. C.
Decent car park with good location and reasonable prices. Not the easiest to navigate, particularly if you have a pram/wheelchair but there are lifts and ramps.
D. M.
Central parking, easy access to restaurants etc. Pity lifts dont work, especially when you are 5 or 8 levels up.
t. a.
Car parks are pretty boring to review so straight to the point with pros and cons on this one. So positives: lots of spaces, short walk to university, sign posted ok, pricing pretty good for city centre, spaces are a reasonable size. Bad stuff, pretty poorly signed when in the car park I.e to get out and up and down. Terrible road congestion upon departure, no signage to EV chargers, stairs a bit smelly and dirty.
R. G.
Managed to get out during the busy time. Car park rate ok. Preferred if it was cheaper
J. A.
Good parking, unfortunately I forgot to check the prices before I spent over 4 lovely hours in Bristol. Very, expensive for long stay.
N. M.
Easy to find and manoeuvre round this car park. Not too expensive either
J. F.
Named after the trench yard that used to reside on the site that was famous for building the worlds finest trenches. Half of the trenches made during WW1 were made here. Barry Trench actually got in quite a lot of trouble for selling trenches to the Germans. But whose laughing now eh? Probably not Barry as he is now in the eternal trench in the sky.
K. S.
Relatively safe car park! Very over priced but all Bristol parking is! Great location for the hospital and the Hippodrome. Just expensive
T. L.
Good place to park near the BRI HOSPITAL and good price.
P. H.
Very good location for theatres and university. FYI, beware that it is within the new emissions zone from 22nd Nov 2022.
T. P.
Always plenty of parking available. Cheaper price during the evening and overnight. Ideal location for many things (food, shops, harbourside walk etc.).
I. O.
Loads of space. Reasonable price.
Strange feeling when needed to park a car at 4am and seeing homeless people sleeping on stairs.
M. P.
Another good carpark, has some good views and plenty of parking spaces, lifts can be a bit smelly
a. s.
Good car park at a reasonable price and close to the city centre. There are stairs and lifts so accessible for all. There are lots of spaces available so it is easy to park here at any time. The pay machine accepts card and cash. There are 2 entrances, with barrier entry where you push a button for your ticket. You pay at a pay machine as you are about to leave. The ticket needs presenting at the barrier on leaving. There are signs throughout the car park to find your way, and a few doors on each floor to exit depending on where you want to go.
D. L.
A conveniently located car park at this end of Bristol. Good for access to the Hippodrome or the dockside, for the O2 and for Park St.
Sadly the price seems to have gone up, but still a good carpark. I have used it many times. Recommended.
L. H.
Good option for hospital visits as there is generally spaces available. If you end up have to be at the hospital longer than expected or get a second appointment after your first beware if you go over 4hrs you end up paying full wack £13.50. Little steep for just over 4hrs I think there should be additional payment bands prior to paying the top amount. It was a bit of a shock as I'm normally only the max 2hrs which is a reasonable payment.
R. C.
Convenient parking for town shopping but be warned about parking charges, after 4 hours it jumps in proce considerably!
l. s.
This is a great little car park in the middle of bristol, it's super usefully when visiting the harbour side or town centre. It's a strange layout of levels and there is a sneaky secret entrance down a cobbled one way street, the exits are located on level 2 and level 8, there are also pay stations on near the lifts. Only down side it is smells like a toilet in the stairwells
S. C.
Very good parking place with very good prices , right in the middle of Bristol.
R. F.
Good parking only £3.60 after 6pm. So good for concert goers like ourselves.
A.
A council owned car park so parking is free for motorbikes (just ring for assistance at the exit and they will let you out). Very confusing though I went up and down twice before I figured out how to get out. No actual motorbike bays, quite frankly silly how hard it is to park bikes in these car parks when you have so many car bays you could easily spare some dead space that isn't even used to mark out an M/C bay.
K.
Very Reasonable parking we came down around 5pm left around 10.30pm £5.00 does get cheaper after 6pm . So great place park drivers who not drinking on night out . . Bit steep hill, so it's not so great if you do struggle with walking .Close to the Hippodrome and other bars
I definitely will use this place again . It can get busy .
I. B.
Visited Bristol city center for a few hours and actually didn't get ripped off horribly for parking. "Only" £6.50.
B. B.
Good parking for Bristol Children's Hospital (about 5min brisk walk).
Reasonable price, plenty of spaces.
Couldn't find a walking exit without going down 4 levels to exit completely where I didn't want to be so I had to walk through the car exit (signpost said not to but others were).
Also may have been me but I couldn't find the pay stations or any sign telling me where they were for ages (floor 1 and 5 I think).
All round signage was poor. Might seem silly, but every multistorey car park I've been in before make the direction one drives round, the up/down ramps, and right of way details much clearer.
A. H.
Good capacity and conveniently located, but the payment machines are often out of order, so you have to go up/down to find one that works. The lifts need you to use your ticket to activate them, but that doesn't seem to work. Better signage to direct you to a suitable exit would be useful, as you often find yourself having to walk around the block to get to where you wanted to be.
A. C.
Very useful. It has spaced, is well located for the city centre and the prices aren't too murderous for Brizzle.
J. B.
OK, but building work makes leaving confusing if you are not used to the area. It is dark in daylight and staircases stink of urine. I'm not sure i would want to use this as a lone female when it's dark, feel extremely vulnerable
D. L.
Std Car Park, well situated for Harbour and hippodrome, evening parking reasonable
s. e.
Plenty of parking spaces at a reasonable price when visiting relative in the BRI.
T. K.
Convenient for hospital/cincert visits sometimes the lifts are out of order and it can get congested
M. D.
Bizarre car park where you go in at level 5. Level one has the electric parking. You have to have a registered app so download in advance and setup. The entry and exit is number plate recognition and you pay on the ticket when you leave - but no inserting in the exit barrier. Plenty of space and super well located. Over night parking rate is superb. Move before 9am!!
G. W.
Fairly central with automatic number plate recognition both on entry and exit, however you'll need the ticket to pay. Stairwells are well lit, however they can smell like wee quite a bit or have broken glass in them.
B. S.
Good carpark, strong smell of urine in all stairways
J. Y.
Very easy to find and very reasonable prices. £11 for overnight stay.
M. B.
It does the job, it's dirty and smells disgusting in the stairwells but apart from that its good.
S. B.
Car park great for the Hippadrome visit and very fair price for the evening.
J. M. (.
Decent 24 hour car park with good proximity to Clifton and College Green area. Pedestrian stairwells and walkways are rather run down and smell disgusting though, would avoid spending any longer than needed here in the evening
d. h.
Working on a flat in Colston Street found it very easy to use with access no problem .
L. R.
Nice car park with great views over Bristol. Shame it's not apartments really
H. L.
Handy for the Children's Hospital. It's a very sharp turn and a steep hill to navigate to get in.
G. !.
Ideal spot if visiting Bristol.
Council run so generally cheaper than NCP, it has charging points for Cars, plenty of space too.
It also has the advantage of being next door to the O2 Academy which is ideal for Gigs, near the Old Hatchet Pub, the Harbour as well as being near the city centre shopping area, Cabot Circus, St Nicholas Market, The Galleries and near the Zoo and Uni too.
A.
Ideal for an evening out, reasonable prices and a superb location for the city centre, outside of rush hour! Will use again.
V. F.
Great for parking, but not a great smell in the staircases
M. J.
Decent car park for visiting central Bristol or high street. Bit expensive but looks safe and secure.
J.
Great location, wide ramps and probably the cheapest on the centre.
g. g.
Out in Bristol for the day good place to visit parking is not cheap
M. C.
Used it while visiting someone in hospital just down the road, good value considering how close
L. M.
This has been the zenith of my life parking experience. Nowhere else have I felt the rush of parking my car in a place you know has been organised by people who know parking sooooo well. From the barriers to the lines to the ticket machines, impossible to overstate the sense of apotheosis in this almost mystical place. It has a back beat, narrow and hard to master, some call it heavenly in its brilliance, mean and rueful of the western dream. I love the friends I have gathered together in this thin raft. We have constructed pyramids in honour of our escaping. This is the land where the Pharaoh dies.
R. K.
There are lots of spaces in this car park. It’s central so great to park and walk straight into the city centre. I would say it only takes around 5 minutes walk into the city centre or to the harbourside. It is a multi story and has pay stations on most levels but not all.
The oath stations have contactless, card or cash payment options.
E. C.
Decent enough parking area. I can't drive, but there is ample space to park a horse.
W. F.
A carpark with great views! The systems work well here making parking and paying easy. When I lost my ticket the nice man on the intercom checked my reg and only charged me for the time I'd stayed.
Unfortunately it's an over night stop for the homeless but generally kept clean.
H. A.
It's in a handy location for park street and west end of town, but finding the entrance is a challenge to say the least!! Maybe easier when the roadworks are done.
It's very dark and does smell bad, but costs are fair enough for a city centre car park (MUCH better than any NCP!!) Has number plate recognition but you need a ticket to operate the lifts and also of course to pay upon exit.
S. M.
It's cheap but I always get confused about the levels and where to pay. Me problem probably.
B.
I parked my car here. My car stayed there. Can confirm it worked.
J. S.
Who'd have thought I'd ever review a car park?! I'll do anything for you, Google.
Easy to get to, great location, cheap, always spaces etc etc
R. L.
Parking is ok it the homeless people by the pay machine worries my wife and me and no security to be seen
J. M. (.
Its a car park. 5 stars, was able to park the car in it.
C. “. T.
To enter you have to go down steep, cobble, side straight. Great views out over the city centre. On leaving you have to turn left away from the hospital hence 3 stars as it may take you away from your desired direction
H.
Central city centre car park. Expensive to park for half a day on a Saturday day time.
Pricing is better on an evening. And only a stone's throw from O2 Academy, Colston Hall and The Hipperdrome.
J. S.
Good price for parking and good location.
K. H.
Good sized car park with plenty of empty spaces. Great views at the top. Bit of a slope leading up to the entrance. Costs are reasonable. Handy for getting to the BRI. Only drawback are the rough sleepers who hang about by the pay machines. That said, they were gone at my last visit in August.
G. A. P. (.
I wish I could give it a 5 star but how can you enjoy the view for a long period of time if there are no toilets and it s pretty dirty to be honest , other than that is just fine .
K. G.
Always spaces available. Reasonably priced. Good location for the waterfront, theatres and shops. Only downside is not enough pay machines. Fine if just going for food but when Colston Hall or Hippodrome shows finish there is always a long queue due to only a handful of pay machines. Other than that a great car park.
P. S.
Very easy to find very good to drive in and out plenty of room on enter and exit good when leaving because back on main road in seconds and very good cheap parking
T. R.
Excellent car park. Always use when going to the Bristol hippodrome. Make sure if you arrive in the evening after 6pm that you pay on arriving as if you pay at the end of a performance you’ll be queueing for a very long time to pay! Always try to park as close to level 8 for a quick getaway.
P.
One could argue this is the largest and most convenient car park for central Bristol, the University & Hospital. Despite the fancy number plate recognition on exit its still old with extremely limiting disabled access (how about some clear signposting for lifts?). Careful when walking through the car park, many drivers going too fast, access to the car park may be less clear then visitors may expect.
R. M. R.
Huge car park, plenty of room. You can only pay in certain spots which are not very clearly marked (they are on the stairs between the floors and not every floor has one, not in the same entity as the carpark), for a first time visitor this was a bit of a nightmare to work out. Otherwise spacious and safe.
D. T.
Cost me £4.50 from about 5:30 until 10:20
Good price
Plenty of parking
Easy to get to with sign posts
Close to great eating and drinking spots.
The only issue I had was homeless all sitting by the ticket paying machines. No issue with homeless and I do understand why they are sitting there, but im sure it might make some people a bit on edge.
P. B.
Situated within walking distance of Bristol Royal Infirmary, the City Centre and Millennium Square. The car park is clean and tidy with a good number of disabled parking space close to the pedestrian exits on floor 1 and 8.
L. J.
Visiting sick grandchild in children's hospital. Carpark where there is always a space at any time and only a short walk.
R. w.
Cheap car park and not to far from BRI only thing we didn’t like was by the pay stations it smelt of wee and we were followed in the car park by some homeless people that were waiting outside the car park. We didn’t feel safe with them there. The lifts didn’t work either. I think they should have people manning this car park as it doesn’t feel safe.
T. M.
Good value and convenient for when you visit BRI
M. R.
The best car park in the city centre in my opinion. Close to everything. Right in the middle of Bristol centre. There are always spaces available. Prices are decent. A bit of inconvenience due to roadworks at the moment. But it's not the car park fault.
S. T.
Central to Bristols nightlife.
But lot’s of road works? around with traffic lights & one way roads, so leave plenty of time to get parked up.??
A. S.
Great evening price.massive day price if there over a few hours
D. T.
I drove around up and down for 20 minutes and I eventually found a parking space in a mother and baby pushchair place on the bottom floor 1,it was terrible. I had to use this space because I had an appointment at the BRI hospital. If you go there don't expect to have a space straight away.
R. B.
Safe and secure enough during daylight hours. Not sure if I would like to use on my own during quiet dark hours. About 5 minute walk to Hospital and Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. Rough sleepers start to appear from twilight.
R. W.
Good price and within a 10 minute walk from the centre or the hospitals.
Having to visit Bristol children's hospital on a regular basis this car park makes the trip from Swindon less stressful as you can always get a space it's not expensive and it's a 5 min walk from the hospital. I no longer panic before a visit! Keep it up! 😊
L. M.
Always spaces but as it's the closest car park to the children's hospital it really ought to be safer. I left the children's hospital a&e at 2:30am and did not feel safe at all. There was noone that could escort us. As it was it was ok but I do feel it should be manned as it's the closest 24 hour car park serving the hospital.
D. C.
Good Central location, most floors have homeless people sleeping rough now which is unfortunate. The council should help them really (they always seem polite and are not threatening). At peak time it can be hard to find a parking space
M. D.
Not cheap. But always spaces and very convenient for Hospital, University, shopping areas, theatres and restaurants. Stairwells often smell of wee.
J. B.
Handiest for theatres and clubs around Denmark St. Park near the upper exit for a quick departure amongst the theatre throng, but only if you can manage the stairs because there'll be a huge lift queue. Pay in advance for the same reason. Even if you arrive a bit before the evening pay slot, they don't skin you too badly and the machine only adds a charge for the time before, not the whole thing at a higher rate. Last time a helpful homeless guy who was sleeping there gave me instructions on how to operate the pay machine.
P. P.
Pretty dirty car park, but really great views!
-. B.
Great location not that easy to find lots of building works, old style car park poor lighting smelly spooky.
Short walk to the hospital about 5mins.
R.
Decent car park which is close to the Hippodrome and that of the city center. It is decently priced the only issue is that it completely sticks and is a little grottie. I understand that it is a carpark but it really shouldn't smell of wee. I guess it needs to man more and stop this from happening because frankly it is such a shame as the car park is perfectly placed. However it just that one thing that bothers me otherwise it is perfect.
M. i.
Good vibe 10 out of four stars, sketchy rating 3/4 raising to 5 at peek, nice deathdrop on the edge!!
N. B.
Really close to Bristol City Centre and other amenities. Much better value price the other local car parks like Cabot Circus too. Easily accessible, uses photographic technology to open barriers once you have paid and certainly our first choice of car park in Bristol.
C. W.
Good location, but grotty, slightly scary stairwells, that always seem to have some kind of puddle in them, which could be urine or beer. It's about £10 for a full day, so quite reasonable if you're working in central Bristol for the day and can claim it on expenses. It's open 24 hours, so you don't have to worry about being locked in.
T. C.
Very good rates for parking
S. K.
Handy car park for Bristol.
p. h.
We had to park on level 10, it seemed you needed to use the ticket to access the lift and only 1 person to each lift. What about ♿ users? Not too easy to navigate if you don't know the place
M. M.
On of the cheaper Bristol city centre car parks. It's a short walk to the main bars, theaters, university and hospitals. The price cranks by the hour but after 4hours saturates at £9 (at the time of writing). The access is a bit hidden so watch carefully for the signs.
J.
Tight spaces and a one way system that causes more problems than it solves. However, it is cheep and convenient for the O2 Academy.
N. B.
This carpark is amazing on so many levels
J. C.
Easy to get in and out, close to the bristol hippodrome and not expensive considering it was a Saturday night
A. B.
The car park was easy to get to; apart from the road or building works that had closed off part of the road, and I wasn't sure how to enter the car park. As there was confusing and conflicting information on the signage. Driving inside the car park was even stranger. I ended going in, around the first level; and nearly going out straight out the exit. I had to reverse several times on different levels due to lack of adequate signage, pointing you in the right direction to the next level up. For some bizarre reason, you drive up to the next level on the right hand side, rather than the usual left.
R. E.
Easy access bit pricy
P. D.
If attending an evening concert nearby then pay for your ticket straight after parking. It costs the same (overnight rate) but you won't have to queue later. Also - park on level 8/9 as faster exit for M32/M4
D. L. (.
A jewel in the rough of Bristol car parks. Large, spacious, and cheap. Perfect location for the hospitals, and the triangle, and not really that far from Broadmead. Would definitely recommend this car park above all the rest in that area.
T. J.
Easy entry and exit - I've never had any problems which is a first in Bristol! Good central location. Really affordable overnight fees during the week 👌🏻
K. M.
Park, go, do stuff, come back, pay, drive off. does what it says on the sign and is handy for the best bits of Bristol. lush
G. O.
3 hours =5,50£ it's good price.
To close to the centre.
Needs more clean.
The staircase was too dirty...
K. M.
Car park is ideal for town and for the hospital but when I tried to get out there were two homeless guys in front of the door. They apologised and seemed nice enough but I had to use a different exit and as a woman on my own felt really uncomfortable. I walked out of the car entrance, rather than that for pedestrains, not wanting to use the stairs - which were also smelling of urine. On way way out I passed another guy drinking from a can. I feel sorry for the guys that are in there - must be awful to be homeless when it is cold and wet. But if you are a woman on your own and would feel uncomfortable - as I did - you might prefer to park somewhere else. Hopefully something can be done for the homeless - they obviously have nowhere to go :(
K. S.
Always Good to park here in Bristol it's well located for shops and food and cheaper than most car parks with tons and tons of parking spaces
C. B.
The parking spaces are a little narrow but it is a decent multi story
L. S.
Nice car park, i like the anpr recording of numbers. Although seeing homeless people trying to shelter from the weather is upsetting
b.
Good car park for the 02 academy and colston hall which are both right outside. *TOP TIP* if you are going to either venue for a show park on floor 8 there is an entrance that leads out directly to the road save yourself queuing at the bottom. There is also a pay machine up there so you can walk straight past the queue hop in the lift and be out in 5 mins.
Z. X.
Nice big spaced car park. Easy to navigate way about and navigate way out. Pricing fair £12 for all day parking. Can be confusing if first time user like myself entering in 5th floor and exit on 2nd floor but pedestrian exit 1st floor..
R. K.
My car park of choice for most things in the city centre/Park St area. I believe it's council run, but is certainly a reasonable price, although following recent work being done the fees have gone up. Perfect parking for Colston Hall and O2 gigs, of course, if long queues to exit afterwards!
S. E.
Conveniently placed carpark for Colston hall and Hippodrome. Only £3 for parking between 6pm & misnight, although that's no good if you only need 30minutes. You can also prepay when you arrive so you can escape more quickly on return after a show. Getting out can be confusing because there the entrances and exits are on different floors.
T. D.
Car parking facilities are OK. Seriously let down by the staircases which are more often than not literally wet with urine...the stench is just awful.
a.
Okay car park, not too expensive. Helpful staff on the sos button when the gate refused to accept my ticket or recognise my number plate.
Has disabled parking on bottom floor and charging points (which is free to charge from ). Parking isn't free for disabled. Not too far from hippodrome and Colston hall.
S. T.
Usefully parking for that end of town
J. S.
Great views ... maybe next time I'll take a picnic.
Pay stations on every other floor and hidden away in the stairwells which is so frustrating when all I wanted to do was leave.
M. R. (.
Convenient and reasonably priced for our visit to the BRI today.
Felt uncomfortable with the rough sleepers who are allowed to hang around the pay stations and wander up and down the stairways.
Not a good image for Bristol.
B. K.
Dirty, smelly place used by beggars and the homeless.
N. F.
Spaces a little small for today's cars. But ithe best thing about this car park is that it's free to park on Sunday's. If towns centres are to survive more free parking is a must.
A. C.
Reasonably priced car park near the centre of Bristol. Plenty of spaces that accommodate most size cars.
R. P.
It's a car park. Entry and exit on different levels could confuse flatlanders but this is Bristol. The ticket system works well.
B.
Driving to exit on floor 8 with vertigo thinking dukes of hazard on the ramps. Nightmare. Handy parking though.
K. M.
Great car park I mean it kept my car so dry!!! but there is an outdoor option if you want a wet car or if you have one of them solar thingys that dances in the dashboard such fun... So many options 😂
M. M.
Really nice car park, usually always find a space. Secure place to park and pay machines are located in good places and easy to use. Decent price for parking in the centre of Bristol too!
E. M.
One of the cheaper car parks in the city centre. You need to swipe your parking ticket to use the lift. Sometimes I can't get this to work and have to walk down car ramps with my pushchair!!
M. F.
Parked here for colston hall which is directly accross the road. Careful when driving through the barrior as you need to turn left immediately which isn't that clear as a few cars ended up going straight on into way way traffic coming from the floors above. If you are going to a show, arrive after 6pm and pay on arrival to avoid any queues at the end of the night. Your ticket will give you until midnight.
M. “.
So convenient for anything in that part of the city (and especially the hospital). Very fair charges...Just be aware that you'll need to use your ticket to operate the lifts, and there's more than one exit on various levels!

Easy place to park the car for a day trip in Bristol. Easy to find and loads of spaces available.
E. P.
Useful car park for trips to the main Bristol hospitals. I have always found there is plenty of car parking spaces available
S. B.
It's a car park, in Bristol, not too bad prices. What more can I say ?
J. R.
The huge multi storey car park is ideally placed for some of Bristol's entertainment venues such as the Academy, Colston Hall and the Hippodrome.
The car park is well lit and feels very safe.
I. V.
It's just a car park but amazing views of an historic city.
R. H.
Come here a lot. Good prices for the centre of Bristol, the only thing is that there are a lot of sleepers in the evening.
E. C.
In heart of Bristol. Easy to pay. Not too expensive.
O. B.
Overall nice car park. Difficult to navigate though.
J. W.
Multistorey car park within walking distance of BRI, Park Street, Hippodrome and Colston Hall. Cabot Circus /Broadleaf further to walk but probably easier to park here during busy shopping times. Reasonable pricing, generally clean and tidy.
A. W.
Big Car Park close to all the shops and walking distance to Cabot Circus. You only get 4 hours which is £5-50. Go past 4 hours and you get charged £12
M. H.
Central parking for Bristol theatre, harbour area. Plenty of spaces, well lit.
k. g.
Handy for the Hippodrome and not too expensive
J. P.
The entrance off lodge street is poorly signposted and I nearly missed it after seeing a sign on the entrance swing barrier pointing to another entrance to trenchard st car park further down the road . I had to reverse back up the hill (not easy in the dark with cars behind you) to gain access to the car park . Good tip from another reviewer that you can pay for your stay after 6pm when you arrive instead of waiting in the queues of people after a concert at Colston Hall . The traffic in Bristol was horrendous even at 7pm , avoid the M32 into Bristol .It took over an hour just to travel a few miles .
3. D.
Quick easy, some complain of the stairwells however it just feels like Bristol. Also, never really had a hitch with the payment machines and a good choice of open top and inner parking.
K. B.
It's a car park,what can you say....
N. B.
Multi storey car park in Bristol City centre run by Bristol City Council. Very close to Colston Hall & Hippodrome theatre. Is also close to BRI & St Michaels hospitals which have limited parking. Was able to pay by card. Visited early morning and got the pleasure of the stairwells that stank of urine.
P. C.
Well placed for Colsten Hall The Hippodrome & The O2 Academy - Shops only 5 mins walk one way , The Watershed The docks M-shed and 'We the Curious' only 5 mins the other way - Slight climb on return to carpark from town - Fair prices for city centre parking
A. G.
Lots of room, decent prices, a bit scary at night alone because of the rough sleepers
P. N.
Good multi story car park, central location. Opposite the Colston Hall so can get very busy when there is something on there and at the Hippodrome. Reasonably priced for the evening too.
m. k.
Ideal parking for Bristol City centre night out, especially for hippodrome and O2
D. M.
Big car park. Reasonably priced. Good location in Bristol.
P. R.
It's a car park... nice place to park your car. The spiral ramp is great fun to drive up - I was overtaken by a couple of e-scooters.
R. W.
Well lit and feels safe. Remember your car registration as you will need it to pay for your ticket. Parked in the evening so only £2
B. w.
Safe place to park when visiting hospital but incredibly expensive if you go over 4 hours which I did by 3 minutes . No reason for the massive hike in price especially on a Sunday ...cost me an extra £6.50 for 3 minutes
S. P.
Great access to Colston Hall, O2 academy and the Hippodrome. Very long queues at pay stations, especially if more than one show finishes at the same time, so if you arrive after 6pm pay on entry.
S. M.
Great location central to most attractions in Bristol city centre. Prices can be steep but are better than NCP car parks.
T. F.
Not quite sure what one can say about a car park, but located close to the Colston Hall, and a short walk away from Hippodrome, the Bristol Royal Infirmary, Bristol Haematology & Oncology Centre and Bristol Children's Hospital. Arrive after 6pm and you only pay £2.50 to park for the evening.
C. R.
Great place to park when visiting Bristol. It's a carpark. Prices are a bit steep, but the council have motorists over a parking barrel.
S. S.
Ugly, fairly cheap, often full. Park at top for BRI; at bottom for town centre. Can't remember seeing a lift. Smells of wee...
J. S.
Very cheap!
I parked here when I went to see a show at the Hippodrome (short walk away). I paid 2 quid something for just over 3hrs. Amazing, considering it's in the center of a big city.
O.
A bit weird entrances and pay machines only on certain levels. Good alternative if you don't mind the walk to the city centre. It's a shame that stairs stink of piss
R. C.
Convenient location for Colston Hall, O2 or even the Hippodrome. I go past the BRI, turn left after Zero Degrees, in halfway down the cobbled hill and drive down inside. The ticket machines can play up, so take cash and card. Remember to take your ticket with you so a) car thieves can't get out with it and b) you can swipe to access the lift and avoid the manly fragrance of Eau de Stairwell. Reasonably cheap between 6 and midnight.
C. D.
Good price for a city centre car park and plenty of spaces. Great position to visit the Cathedral and waterfront area.
T. H.
Postcode takes you straight there. Good location with plenty of spaces,£10 for our day, arrived at 11.30ish and left around 5:30. I would use this car park again.
C. C.
Nightmare for pedestrians going to the hospital
C. N.
Absolutely stunningly beautiful.
B. N.
Good location and prices in line with Bristol centre parking.
マ.
Good location for parking and reasonably priced.
The lifts look tired and grubby, shaky and noisy.
The recorded voice in the lift sounds spoken from someone that doesn't want to be there!
G. U.
How do you rate a car park? It's central, way cheaper than others locally and has loads of spaces. And on the higher levels the view is actually really nice.
M. T.
Similar price to many of the other car parking available but I find the location great for the hippodrome, colston hall and the docks area.
B.
Always park here when I take my son to the children's hospital.. easy to park and not far away!!
L. R.
Very busy but always a place to park. Every time we go one of the levels has a pay machine not working but it doesn't take long to get to another.
Not difficult to find your way around.
S. N.
Good location in city centre and not too pricey but a little bit difficult to find as it's stuck at the back of main roads.
F. 4.
Big car park convenient and easy to find pay machines. Not much more to say, drive in find a spot remember where you parked and pay.
A. W.
Smells somewhat, as you'd expect a city centre multi-storey to do. The auto numberplate recognition means that you don't have to insert your paid-for ticket into the machine on the way out.
C. K.
useful central car park. stairwells dirty and smell horrible
N. S.
Handy for the hospital, had to queue at 1400 for 20 mins to park so give yourself plenty of time. Lifts are on the side overlooking the city.
D. S.
Handy car park for hospital and centre of Bristol.
A. J.
Park on level 8 and walk down to the BRI/ Royal Children's hospital. Also there's a pay station and vehicle exit. If 8 is full there is always room on 9
G. J.
Easy to access and not the most expensive parking I've used.
G. T.
Good car park and at a reasonable cost, most importantly of all I've never had my car marked or tampered with and I've always felt safe even when returning late at night.
D. M.
My car park of choice when I need to drive to Bristol. Not cheap but not extortionate. Well located, I've never had an issue getting to it, driving around it, or leaving.
S. T.
Very central all good
R. B.
Excellent value for money car park in a great location and easy to get to from southwest of Bristol, great views of the city from the upper levels and some nice artwork in the stair / lift areas
G. Y. S. R.
As car parks go, it is relatively clean and is well lit. Busy by 11am on a weekday
R. D.
Easy to find, very reasonably priced, ideal location to visit Colston Hall - only niggle is the lack of signs and directions inside the car park - ended up going the wrong way around - twice!
t. D.
Very very busy. Only two spaces left at 9am. Handy for the hospital appointments x
N. S.
I was a visutir to Bristol and found the carpark easily. Easy to drive round, park the car and pay on return. Reasonable prices as well for city centre parking.
T. H.
Easy access. Good prices. And great for Colston Hall/Hippodrome if you can get away to pay quickly and leave via level 7!
M. A. (.
Exceptional prices for the central location, always plenty of room and easy to access. Great for a day trip to bristol centre, also great for over night stays!
J. T.
Expensive but always got spaces and seems secure. The road to access the multi storey dosnt seem right as it is a small cobble street but turn right at the end and you will see the entrance.
V. J.
Fair priced for a city center multi storey car park.
l. k.
Price for parking is not to bad. No clear signs for the entrance of car park. Only has steps to get from level to level.
N. H.
My son had a problem whilst parked here and they could not have done more to help him. Huge thanks your kindness will not be forgotten.
E. M.
A good carpark but busy and expensive, especially if crossing the 6pm barrier into night fares. The gate is often open so you can sometimes leave without paying.
I. S.
Pretty good prices. Seems secure enough too, can't complain.
V. W.
Easy to park, good sized spaces
R. B.
Its a ok car park near the centre of town
P. S.
Signage is not clear for a newcomer
M. E.
Cheap long stay parking and a very good location (2 min walk from the Hippodrome). Not enough pay points and only a couple of exits available.
T. F.
Always reliable and with spaces. Central location for Park Street.
M. D.
Open 24 hours, convenient for theatres, cheap parking in the evening. Often used as a shelter by homeless people.
M. L. M.
Brilliant local car park but awful to find and get out!
A. M. (. L.
One of the better car parks in Bristol, but be warned if you're watching a show. We've queued to leave here for over an hour before
D. S.
The best car park in Bristol especially as it's central, clean, and they don't rip you off by the hour, unlike many other Bristol car parks.
k. w.
Extremely tight parking spaces, but very good pricing.
P. O.
As car parks go. This one isn't too expensive for a whole day. Very close to the children's hospital. Convenient.
L. G.
Top notch car park, let's you park your car and everything. Well located, minimal smell of urine.
T. G.
Ample amounts of parking and reasonably sized spaces. The stairwells are pretty dirty and smelly though. It has some pretty unforgiving curbs.
M. T.
Easy entry 24 hour parking at a reasonable price. Good location to the O2 academy and Colston Hall.
o.
Filthy place. No elevators. If you start walking from the 8th floor the wall will stop on the 5th floor. No information about this by the entrance so you have to go back up
P. C.
Good secure car park, ideal if you are going to be a while in BRI. Better value as a long stay.
G. B.
In good location, can be busy during the middle of the day and very busy when there are shows on nearby - leading to very long queues when everyone is trying to pay and leave.
N. C.
Cheapest in the area. Always got a parking space. Doesn't feel particually safe late at night but ok during the day
C. S.
Nightmare queuing to get out after the theatre tho!
M. M.
An ideal car park out of all those close buy depending on where you are coming from. Just don't like the homeless people sleeping on every floor by the lift
T. C.
Always park here . spaces seem a little larger than other bristol car parks..very reasonable price on a sat and sun
C. T.

B. B.
Convenient location with easy access to college green. Don't forget to take the ticket with you when you leave and pay using the ticket before you get to the car on departure

Convenient parking for Museum of Bristol, a great price for parking.
T. M.
Good location for the hospital but very expensive.
D. J.
Great location for the theatre but paying is a slow process, on my visit after a show the queues were so long people were slipping into the next tariff rate.
M. L.
Look out if you stay over 4 hours! Up to 4 hours the cost rises in steps much as you'd expect, but over 4 & it goes from £5.50 to £12!
A. B.
