Reviews of Vineyard Street Car Park
Spaces are a bit narrow, especially on the right hand side of the car park. It's handy for town though.
Good location close to the shops but limited parking spaces meaning there are often queues of cars looking for spaces.
Got us close to the shops. Relatively easy to park. Charges not too bad but limited stay. Other car parks offer longer stays
Like this for the simple reason it's easy to get to the town BUT it is expensive, very busy, and not very big
It's a car park, take your chances of getting a space when it's busy. Even the disabled spaces are hard to find.
The public car park situated exactly at the center of the town. All major shops are with in a short walking distance.Maximum stay duration is only 2 hours and that is the only negative I have found.
You park your car there but only for two hours
Easy to find disabled spaces
Good park close to shops A++
Convenient, close (a few minutes walk) to Lions Walk and the Castle.
Very convenient for shopping in the town centre. Although sometimes it's quite busy because it's not that big as others nearby.
Was busy but got a disabled space.
Central, bit tight spaces. Easy to pay using apps.
It's really the epitome of modern car parkery. It's what makes Britain great. A Jewel in the crown of the UK. I'm welling up just thinking of it. As Dr.Dre once said "yeah mate, now that's a car park".
Gets full up very quickly if your not early to find a space.
Very busy place, not much room to manoeuvre your car.
In central Colchester, this car park is close to everything. It is convenient to pay for parking, contactless, by text or by app. It is disabled friendly with a lift and disabled parking bays. Very handy. It's on the small side so sometimes full and you have to wait for a slot.
Very close to shopping malls, easy access and safe.
Always busy but great access to lion walk shopping centre/high street
Easy to pay using the Mipermit app, not expensive for a city centre car park
Small, busy car park, convenient for Colchester town centre. Spaces could be bigger. Lift and stairs to the pedestrianised town centre. Bordered by part of the original Roman town wall, built two thousand years ago...you can actually touch history as you head for the shops!
Machines don't work that well. I use the other colchester car parks during the day and only use this one after 6pm.
Right in middle of town center, but very busy
Hard to find a place at times well mostly but not to exspencive great with lift for prams wheelchairs to town recomend
Quite convenient for shops. Need lighting during winter months.
Super convenient and popular car park. Especially for the elderly and infirm. However use the machines with care. If you get it wrong it eats your money and you cannot get it back.
The lift is absolutely necessary 🙂
It's a place to park your car, albeit small.
I like very much this parking
Usually waiting awhile to get a space and awkward to pay for parking. Most people get confused with contacless payments
Entry system was a bit chaotic but plenty of parking spaces once in
Handy for town centre
Handy for parking for centre of town but that's only if you can find a disabled car parking space.
Great access to colchester, a great place to shop, eat and drink. Especially compared to the dive that is Ipswich
Good car park
Get thear early
Plenty of parking, easily accessible to town for disabled people
Busy at peak times and expensive. And no hand cleaning for paying for ticket. Avoid in peak times
Great for town shopping especially if you are disabled
Easy parking not too expensive
Easy pay by card
Can be a little difficult finding a space at times.
Good for disabled near to town
Limited means of paying!
Close and handy to reach the centre of Colchester
Cheap and easy to park
Need to update website as evening price is wrong
Excellent for a quick visit to town.
Very small and very expensive.
Overpriced
A little bizzy at peak times
Great for motorbikes 🏍
The lift was working!
Central parking.
Small but close to town
The lift was working.
Yes, we parked!
Ok
