A great park for walking in some woods with a short walk around the lake. At the moment the golf course isn't open and it is possible to extend walking across the greens. An ice cream van is normally parked near the Allestree Hall. Good for dog walking too. Can be muddy after lots of rain. Car park at top of hill through main entrance 👌

Surprising how big it is. Got a play area, tennis courts (not sure about nets). Cricket club and bowls. Also good for sledging! Shame about the toilets being closed and no big swings for the bigger kids.

Lovely recreation ground with open space and mature trees. Toilets out of action. Nice cricket club and natural amphitheatre. Views across Allestree from the embankment. Convenient parking but can get busy if park in full use.
