Nice park and play area. Good sized car park

Markeaton park is a lovely place to take your children. It is very popular so would recommend being ready for that in the summer months. The car parking is relatively expensive but worth it for a fun free family day out. Highly recommend a picnic here in the spring and summer with the family

Great place in the spring and summer months especially when the pool is open lots of things for the kids to a do... only downside is the traffic wardens are very keen, so don't be late when returning to the car park.

We visited, having talked about my.childhood memories. The play facilities have changed. However, the walls through the woods and near the mini dam is still the same, some 25 years later

Very close to park . You have to pay for parking by the hour . Make sure you have change or your bank card.
