It was the first time we've been and it was to attend their 25th anniversary and the scarecrow Festival. I was helping as a volunteer from Friends of Sandall Park and we had entered a scarecrow in the competition ..Mr Crow. There were 17 entries and It was a fabulous turnout with lots of people coming to vote for their favourite scarecrow. The Friends of Quarry Park are a wonderful group of people and Quarry Park is such a fabulous place. They just got the 21/22 green flag award and if you visit you will see why. It's brilliant for dog walking, great play areas and a green gym. We will be back to explore the woodland walks and I can also add to this review!

A nice quiet semi forested bit of land with a park for kids and erm that's it, a tiny park. So much space that could be used for better purposes but it's just wasted on a few dog walkers who whinge about the kids. Maybe build a new youth centre on it with football pitches and anything else they need to feel wanted and part of something bigger than themselves. Maybe they would stop getting bored and setting fire to it then.

Nice place to walk your dog, but it's very dry with the weather we've had been a few times, would go more often if I lived closer

Nice walk for the dogs. Open field and wooded area. Decent park for kids too

Very nice, but only 4 stars as there was few Motocross going up and down the park, dangerous for the kids and noisy!

Great park, nice open space shame there is no official parking, great woods to walk in outdoor gym, play park great little spot

Good for a walk with the dog. Plenty of trails in the woods and open space to play fetch

It's a lovely park. Very clean and well maintained. Always someone using it, walking their dogs, walking alone, children playing, people meeting up chatting. A very special place. Exercise machines, play area for children- all free.
