M.The Beat is a fantastic outdoor space to enjoy a picnic, keep the kids occupied, or take a stroll in its ever-changing woodland.
The wood is a short drive from Doncaster Racecourse (on Leger Way), with a designated parking area at the bottom of Sandall Beat Road. Loads of woods to walk through and plenty of den building nice little park in middle
W. W. B. &. S. S.A great place for walks, the only down side is the small car park.
If you have young children there is a newly refurbished play area with nearby toilets.
J. A.Great walking & cycling paths/tracks. The new park is great for kids, just needs an ice cream van every now & then to make a visit

I. S.So many things to see. Looks different every day. You can walk so many different routes so you don't walk the same route each time. Great to see the playground fully restored again with new climbing frames in place

H. S.I've been going to Sandall Beat Wood for about 15 years as part of my rehabilitation to learn to walk again after a severe car crash in 2003.
S. B.Very popular with dog walkers, bikers and people who just enjoy the great outdoors, this wood is a fantastic place to take yourself away from the usual noise and hustle bustle of city life, and enjoy a little bit of nature on the doorstep. Also great for train running, although take care on the uneven ground and obtruding branches (as I have found out first hand)
