It's easy to get parked but layout is a little confusing, alternatively sniperley Park and ride is with reasonable walking distance and free. It would be great if the park and ride stopped near the hospital.

Well organized... appointment system due to Covid meant we didn't have a four hour wait. It literally took 15 minutes to see someone ( Mark) who knew what he was talking about then heading back home. Excellent service. The NHS is brilliant.

Light bright and airy. Inside fantastic. Had to look about for entrance to visitor's car park though so signage there could be better. Far superior to Sunderland Royal - much cleaner. Lovely staff. Enjoyed looking at the displayed surgical and medical equipment of years ago. How things have changed.

Car parking and pricing are the usual hospital fiasco, especially with pay machines that don't work. But the hospital is spotless, well laid out, with easy to reach depts. and adequate signage. The staff, ALL staff, are extremely helpful, especially the receptionist who went back to my doctor just to confirm something on my appt form. My eye doctor, was very concerned about the history of my injuries to get as full a picture as possible to help with a new diagnosis, and ongoing treatment plan. And even down to the humble cleaner who went out of her way to take me via a 'short cut' to the nearest lift. Absolutely exceptional, and I thank them one and all.

Tricky to get round, especially if you dont know the place. Very busy (9am). First half is for staff, but ONLY MARKED ON GROUND, . Bad point is, as barriers in/out if cannot get parked and want to drive straight out, barrier would stop you. Good point (Currently) Free!.

Waiting time was far too long. My 7 year old had a noose bleed that wouldn't stop and was waiting for about 5 hours! This was after we went to Bishop Auckland hospital who told us to go to Durham.

Easy access and due to the present day climate, due to Covid19 no charges for parking. Very well sign posted for Covid19 testing away from general public parking. No issues a good layout.

I can't complain, considering we are going through a pandemic, from the day I ended up in A & E (May 2020) they have looked after me, I had to have weekly visits with consultancy and since have had surgery, I still have ongoing regular treatment with a consultant, I can honestly say that I have felt safe with regards to the covid very time I visit the hospital.

It was a bit quiet got in easy Then went in waiting room then sent to the place where I seen my doctor who i haven't seen for about 8 months but everything fine and didn't wait to long so happy about that

We are regular visitors to the Freemans. We have never had a problem parking. People stay socially distanced. Staff are helpful.

Carparking has gone up again. £3 for 2 hours now. Its not as if people go there on a jolly and it's not a handy place to park and nip to the shops either. Would like to know how much they make over the year

It's a car park. Not sure how you evaluate a car park. The surface is good, is free for 4 hours and there were plenty of spaces..

at the moment with this virus around its a bit topsy turby with all the measures in place but still a vital service with hard working doctors and nurses and all staff . well done NHS .

Okay size, but gets very busy during visiting hours. Can be pricey, but i wouldn't begrudge paying this if parking was made free for staff.

Always go out of there way to help, all the staff are very friendly and helpful, I've been going there for over a year now for operations and its always 5* and the food is very nice as well, excellent hospital, highly recommend.
