N.Paid £64 to park for 10 days. On arrival got a ticket to park. On return at the exit barrier put ticket in only to find out I was going to be charged £134. Got in touch with the office who took my ticket number then lifted the barrier. Not the most efficient system to say the least.

C. C.Parked at Edinburgh Airport Long Stay Parking for a recent trip when flying from Edinburgh Airport. The directions were easy to follow to get I to the car park and to exit the car park.
I prepaid for my parking and you are given a ticket with your reg printed on it at the entrance barrier. You have to take this to the pay machine before driving out and it must validate your pre payment so you can then exit the car park.
About 5-15 minute walk depending on where in the car park you can park and how fast you walk to the departure terminal

A. W.Easy to find and access the parking area and find a space. I prefer taking my keys as well so that was another reason I used this facility. The price was very reasonable for 7 days. We also had a seven hour delay on our return flight which when leaving the site was going to cost an additional £14.50 but when I contacted the staff using the intercom I assume they were able to verify the flight delay and I was not charged any extra. I will definitely use this facility again as my first choice.

L. S.I booked a parking space here online and everything went smoothly, parked the car then 100 yard walk to the free shuttle bus which takes around 3 minutes to the airport. On my return bus took me back to my car and I was on my way. Great price per day at Plane Parking and I would definitely use again.

I parked in the wrong place first so possibly a bit of better sign posting (or at least more noticeable, lol) but they let me leave my luggage in their office whilst I moved my car so I wasn't dragging it around with me etc.
Arrived back and my car was ready and waiting (even with me being half hour late), with no extra cost leaving the car park. They even showed me on the map exactly where my car was and gave me specific instructions on how to find it.
Really good service and definitely way cheaper than a taxi to/from the airport.
S. M. L. D.Bizarrely enough....and usually when I've left it too late ...this place is the cheapest last minute airport option. You usually have to play the "where the hell is the actual empty space" game. Fine. Dump the car...the terminal is close enough that I just walk it ( 10 to 15 minutes). I'd get the bus if I had the kids. My car is always undamaged on my return despite the narrow spaces. Barriers seem to read my plate without fuss. I've never had the panic of needing to find a human for assistance... not sure where I'd start to look. But hey its rented tarmac within sight of a growing airport. You're only reading this review because the other cheaper options are gone. Just do it. The tram is a hassle and you need your car dont you?
L. J.We booked the Express long stay car park and it was 100% WORTH IT! We usually go for the low cost parking with the 20 - 25 minute shuttle service however this was £5 dearer and you were 4 minutes from the airport on a shuttle bus. When we arrived back from our 10 days away the car was sitting waiting, scraped and it was in and out to get the keys not waiting ages for them and the car. Would recommend and will be using again in future!
J. M.Easy enough to park in, and remember to book online so you can just drive in and out.
Bus is regular, you never wait more than 15 minutes and it’s a short 10 minute drive to the terminal via the Hilton hotel. Just budget that into your time to get through Security.
j. j.We used long stay express and I have to say was the quickest and most efficient parking I have used out of the many times of parking when leaving from Edinburgh. We walked out of airport on return and on a bus within 2 minutes. The staff were friendly and professional. Well impressed and will use from now on.
W. F.Given this 3 stars because it really depends which service you choose. I use the standard long stay regularly for business trips and this is fine. I'd say 4 stars. It's easy to park, the bus service is regular and only 5 mins to the airport proper, and it's not that expensive if you book in advance. That said, I used the long stay express where you drop your car and it's parked for you. This was awful. Waited 15 minutes for an attendant to get to us, then his tablet wouldn't work and finally his print ran out of paper. It took us over 30 minutes before we were in position to even get onto the (very good bus).

On arrival we parked in the special lanes set aside for Express customers and were met by an agent who directed us to the office for check in and then to the adjacent bus stop.
On the return we collected the keys from the office who seemed very well organized with a carousel housing customer's keys and the car was parked in a nearby numbered bay.
So no hunting around the car park for a space and no need to find the car on return.
The wait was a bit longer than I would have liked, about 15 minutes each way for the bus; and it would have been helpful if the driver had announced where to get off on the return as not all of the bus passengers were on the Express Service.
M. F.Easy to use, but when I was leaving the barrier tried to charge me again and I had to contact an operator for assistance as I'd prepaid . Also, inconsiderate people passing by my car when parked means now it has a dirty great scratch down each side. My advice - pay the extra for long stay fast track and get someone to look after your car properly, or get the bus.
I. T.Used the long stay express service for the first time. It was really rushed (very busy) and I felt I did not get enough time to organise myself for my flight. On the way back I had expected my car to be at the reception area as I had already carried all my cases from the bus to the reception office but had to go back past the bus stop to where my car was parked. It would have been helpful to know that my other key had been taken off the keyring and stored in my car rather than having to go back to the office. To be honest probably would not use this service again as found it easier to just park and go.
S. C.Easy and efficient. Free shuttle bus to and from the airport. Only takes a few minutes and run every 7mins. Park anywhere when. You arrive and leave your car. As easy as that. When returning home, pick up your car and leave! Remember to keep the ticket you get when driving in to the car park as you will need to put in back into the machine on the way out to lift the barrier. Will definitely be using long stay again.
D. M.Parked car for 14 days at the long stay facility. Found the experience to be efficient and easy to use. On arrival ticket issued and the gate and found parking space within reasonable time. Bus stop was near my parking space and transfer bus arrived within 5mins of parking. On return bus was waiting at stop and easy exit from car park after collecting car. I would happily use this facility again.
A. S.Definitely the place to use if you are leaving your car while you fly. With frequent bus's to and from the terminal it's easy to park securely and fly. Used it many times and our car has always been undamaged on our return.
W. a. M.When you have booked the parking in advance, the system is very straightforward and easy - simply drive in and drive out. The car park can be very busy though, so do leave time for searching for an available slot, and also for waiting for the shuttle bus (if you have just missed one, the next one will be about 15 minutes wait).

I eventually managed to find my way to Long stay parking! The rest was easy, got on the bus to the terminal, driver was very friendly. a. a.I give you all stars! Staff is very helpfull. Left my car there for 7-8 days for only around £30. Safe location. Easy to find and bus transport every few minutes takes you directly to airport entrace, 7-8 minutes drive. When I came back i had problem with car battery and couldn't start my car, asked for help and Parking staff member helped me turn on my car in less than 10 minutes. After that i turned off my car and couldn't start again and I had to ask another staff member same thing who also did help as soon as possible. I highly recommend this place.

Not aware that you had to press stop button on bus for your zone. Should be a notice to that effect for new customers. That apart happy with cost effrective service.
L. J.I have used the long term parking at edinburgh airport twice in the past 2 months. It is easy to find. Only downside is there is a lack of spaces i found it hard to find a space. Each area is clearly sign posted and bus stops are in good locations with frequent buses taking you to the terminal. All in all a great place to park.
A. R.Very easy to use. Simply book on line, drive in, take a ticket and jump on the regular free bus to the terminal. On return, a bus was waiting and dropped us off at our car in minutes, then you simply use the ticket at the barrier and drive out. Easy.
H. M.We've been consistently using this car park for many years now, often as many as four times annually. Comparatively, it's good value. Access by numberplate recognition makes entry (and exit) very simple. There's usually plenty parking spaces but it can be difficult at busy times, e.g. school holidays. The shuttle bus service is very regular and you'll never have to wait for long. It delivers you close to the airport terminal and has the same convenient pickup point. One key piece of advice is to write your bus stop and parking zone on the ticket you receive on entry. Alternatively, you can mark your car's location via your smartphone. You'll only forget to do that once!
S. W.I had to give it a 3 star as they had no record of my booking on their system so thankfully I had an email to show, even then they were still slightly confused by the system. Also on return the chap in the office who was really nice couldn't find my key as again... I wasn't on the system! The poor guy had to check every box manually to find it.
Staff all great and my car was looked after well but maybe someone could look into their online booking system.

F.The process, from booking the Car Park … to checking the car in ... to being driven by the Bus transfer from the car Park to the Airport (5 minutes journey time)… and then upon collection, the reverse of this process and collecting the keys at Reception, was an extremely smooth and slick operation. Good value, compared to the other official Edinburgh Airport Car Parks in the vicinity.

July used the new Meet + Greet + Park service that's now available at this car park ... fantastic service especially as late night return flight so was great to exit the car park quickly and easily! Definitely recommend!
h.Booked 2 weeks' parking online, which was good value. Plenty of staff around to answer questions during drop off and pick up of the car, and they were very helpful. Buses to and from the terminal also arrived promptly.
K. V.This is the second time I have used the Long Stay parking facility at Edinburgh Airport having previously always booked with NCP. I prefer the car park at Long Stay. The shuttle buses are frequent and the journey to departures is very brief.
I prefer the full size buses used on this shuttle route and there is a large capacity for luggage to be stored inside the bus.
I would certainly use long stay for all my future trips to Edinburgh Airport and would recommend that you try the facility if you have not previously booked there.
We are returning in September 2018 and have our booking confirmed for our trip.

C. M.The signage for the car park is very good, you can't really can't miss it !! When you arrive at the drop point it takes less than 5 mins to get everything sorted then you head for the bus stop which is right next to where you left you car. The bus takes less than 10 mins on your return walk to bus shelter A and the bus takes you back pick up hour key and hand in the card that they give you when you parked your car. Again less than 5 mins. All in all a good service and responsibly priced. Just hope they dont start putting up their prices
P. A.First 30 minutes is free of charge. then you need to pay lots of money( I guess £7 for 30 minutes). You are waiting for arrivals, or want to drop off, this place is great. there is a 6-10 min walk way from the main building to this parking.
J. G.I parked my car there for 3 days. When I returned at 11pm, the battery was flat. The team at the long stay car park used a portable jump start battery pack to get me going. Really appreciated this unexpected kindness - great job guys
R. N.Long stay Express - Very convenient experience, drop the car off in one of the drop off rows and they park it for you in their designated area and get the bus to the terminal. On return the car was ready for collection in one of the spaces near to the portacabin office. As only their staff drive the car to and from the parking space in a designated 'express' area I believe this is a good option for avoiding idiots opening their doors into your car, not as common in long stay, but still happens. Plus this was the cheapest parking option at the time, not sure why as it seems like a value added service which would cost more, but it was cheaper.

J. T.The car park is well sign posted and access is via the number plate recognition entry points is simple. The car park was very busy on the day we parked but we eventually found a space. The bus which circles the carpark takes only a few minutes to transport you to the terminal. On our return, exit was quick and easy, using the "ticket" generated on entry.

A. K.Does exactly what it says on the tin. Parking, close to the airport. If you have luggage you can catch a regular bus to the terminal. If commuting for a day like I was then you can walk through the mid stay car park and be at the terminal in 10 mins. Very easy process, just don't lose your ticket as the reg plate readers don't seem to be in use on exit.

J. A.If pre booked, make sure you press the button for assistance when entering the car park. DONT press for a ticket. It doesn't say this on the email to press for assistance. Luckily i pressed the button as when i came back i put my ticket in machine to leave and it asked for 282 quid. I ring the buzzer and explained and the guy let me out.
The car park was extremely busy so had to drive around it about 15 mins looking for a space.
The bus coming back took about 15 mins to show up, and that was at 3pm on a Friday. I'd only book again if it was the cheapest around. There's better car parks at Edinburgh airport which has smoother process and don't try and rip you off by paying twice.
Update your emails about what to do when arriving so everyone understands or get a car registration reader for pre bookers
T. H.On Return, the bus came to pick passengers up after half an hour wait. There were too many people with heavy bags and one bus. Was quite a suffocating experience for all to be squeezed in and push people around when getting out. Exit barrier expected me to pay £75 to get out!!! Looks like the system and buses frequency/capacity needs reviewing to match the demand at peak.

L. R.We booked the long stay express option, when we arrived we just dropped the car off at the office and they took our keys and must have parked it after we left - all fine. But when we came back we picked up the keys and then had to go and find the car ourselves - it wasn't actually that close to the office and had been parked in such a way that we had to move it to be able to get our suitcases into the boot.

R. C.Good and affordable long stay car park, with concierge and parking. Slight issue was the fact that none of the tickets worked on the way out of the area, so ourselves (plus another 4 cars) had to go through the barrier intercom to be able to exit the airport. Hopefully a one off glitch.

On return though, the keys are collected from the cabin and they tell you where the car is, so not quite what I was expecting. I might have read the blurb wrong but I'm sure it talked about monitoring return flights and having cars ready. Also. My car was badly parked, well over the bay markings, so there was a risk of being scratched by neighbouring cars. Convenient, I suppose, but I wouldn't pay a premium for this option.

Ok on departure as guy comes to your car once parked in drop off lane & takes the car away, but on late night arrival dropped at bus stop have to walk with cases to the office then once ticket handed over walk back to car which was parked back the other side of bus stop. However not very well lit & car reversed close up to a barrier in muddy puddles so not great for loading cases

If you change a registration number if taking a different car make sure you get an email the registration has been changed.
We had hassle booking in, picking car up and exiting the car park even though I phoned to change the registration number as I booked in 3 cars for my golf party
D. T.Booked long stay express. Worked ok, but not really express. Had to queue when checking in while they cars in front were processed, then a wait on the bus arriving. Long stay on it's own probably a better deal.

H.Found this to be a very well organised car park, We booked our car in at 5am in the morning and collected it 15 days later at 10.30am car was waiting for us in a large parking bay near the office only had to collect keys from office and that was dealt with very swiftly. Like the idea of the car being parked for you next to cars that are also on long stay not to many car doors opening on to your car as staff are the only ones allowed to park the car in this part of the car park most impressed with this car park and will defiantly park here again
B. F.Camera did not register car number on arrival, so prepaid booking was not in place. The system required payment of more than twice the amount I had prepaid when I attempted to exit. The problem was dealt with promptly and helpfully by intercom when I provided my booking reference.
