Reviews of Edinburgh Park
B. D.Handy tram stop when staying at the premier inn hotel. Remember to get the 3 day pass if staying for a few days, at £9 per adult it’s a great saving.
N. S.The tickets machines seem to have a problem with MasterCards.
In both paying for tickets requested at the station and collecting pre paid tickets.
The machine just sat 'processing' my CC.
Not helpful.
So just a word of caution. You may have to buy tickets again and get a refund.
Btw. I even requested a new card from my CC company to no avail.
A. S.From Edinburgh park station one can get direct train to either towards Glasgow or Haymarket.
Station is right next to tram station and novatel hotel.
Hermition gate shopping centre is opposite to station.
Edinburgh park station is around 10 mins walk from sighthill.
P. D.Useful station for the two big hotels here and the large retail park. Interchange for the tram service to the Airport.

D.Not much here. A few seats on the Glasgow bound side, more space on the Edinburgh bound side.
Beside the tram stop, so linked up there.
Also beside Germiston Gait retail park, a place to go when the trains don't arrive. Like now, while I'm writing the review.
Key issue is that only half of the trains stop here.
F. M.Easy and great for public transport.
S. C.Very handy if you work in Edinburgh Park and South Gyle. Also good for Hermiston Gait retail park and the Uni. There's the tram stop right next to the station, if you need to get to the Airport or somewhere along the route to York Place where the train only goes to Haymarket and Waverley.
