Great park to take your dog .lots of woodland to explore and the wetlands are very unusual .it has outdoor gym playback football pitch basketball hoop picnick tables there's also a nature trail a fire pit a pond with walkway and viewing platform so kids can search for pondlife and a mountain bike trail the park is also full of natural wildlife and at night there is a clear view of the stars . Dont be put off by the area as the park is highly recommened

Beautiful and spacious. It's perfect for exercise or just going for a walk. Also, you can easily access the Union Canal from here.

It dosent look like much at first but it dose have a charm to it. The wetlands area is pretty different compare to other parks but ive grown to love it. Good place to spot bats at night.

A beautiful large public park by a large council estate that used to be a quarry. The Union Canal goes past it.

Has a little park for kids also an exercise area with equipment you use your on body weight to operate. Large grass area for walking dogs or playing football. Also has a set of football goals with a basket ball hoop attached. Great to waste some time in the day.

Hailes Quarry Park is a great place for a walk, run or even exercise. During the day there are plenty of dogwalkers around and can be a hive of activity when sunny. There is a kids play area and a small climbing wall. There is also an outdoor gym with a few pieces of equipment. The park itself is a good size with a path going all the way around, which is ideal for running. It also has a mix of terrain and is not just flat, there are a couple of hills. A strange feature is the Hermit's head, a large stone face which sticks out from the ground. It's easy to miss it if you don't walk past. The park is right on Union Canal.

A nice big open space to relax, with facilities for kids and adults. There is also a nature platform being developed on the swamp area. The park is bordered by the Union canal adding another dimension of interest.

Large open space. Children can spend a sunny afternoon playing in the play area, stone climbing and with gym equipments. Proximity to canal adds to the charm.

Awesome walks around the quarry, have the union canal just off to the side of the quarry that can take u all the way to Glasgow on the one way an all the way to the water of Leith to the other, marvellous walks all round
