Reviews of Queen Street Gardens
J. B.
The private gardens are not open to the public except on very occasional open days.
Access is restricted to occupants of neighbouring properties who can request keys for a fee. (Detailed on entrance gates)
If you get the opportunity to visit the gardens then they are worth a visit. The grounds are very well maintained with a few interesting features.

Calm green place to walk around, enjoy the sun sitting on a bench, observe trees, squirrels and birds, walk with a dog or play on a grass with children. You need to have access to visit it though.

Just spent the night sleeping in a sleeping bag for #sleepinthepark event , to raise awareness about homlesness in Scotland and the UK. It was -5 , -7 during the night but we'll worth it . Social bite who arranged it managed to raise as it stand just now £3.6 million and has managed to get 500 houses set up for our homeless people . It's a start but hopefully it's a start to an end for society's forgotten people . The park is a great park to visit and spend time or when it's summer a brilliant place to get the sun and mellow out . There's loads of room and has public toilets half way down . Great park in a beautiful city in Scotland .

Always loved going to the Edinburgh Botanical Gardens whichever the month is. Free entrance but good to give a donation for the maintenance and up keep of the garden

£3.90 per hour. Rip off Edinburgh Council. Shameful charges. They make all that money yet bags of rubbish in the streets. Incompetent council. Maybe the administration should resign.
H. B.
A wonderfully beautiful haven in the heart of the capital where you can stop...sit...think...re-energise...enjoy...

Lovely little garden, my favourite spot was always to go and play on the little island that's at the heart of the garden when I was a child.
I've still got keys for this private garden, so I sometimes revisit it whenever I'm back in Edinburgh. ^_^ ..

Beautiful even at this time of year.

Visited as part of the 2015 whisky solstice. Normally need to be a resident of one of the surrounding homes or busineses to be able to go in. Worth a visit if you can get a key or a chance.

Nice place but it is sort of private.. But the area is good for parking if there is no space on George Street.

Quiet can get a key as it's private the notices are outside the gardens where to rent a key to go in
