Safe, clean, quiet and tidy. The parking area is a bit rough so keep your low bats and splitters in mind but other than that it’s spot on. 5 min walk from the beach and town where there’s all sorts of restaurants. Suits for a nice and quiet evening out. Tea and coffee are on the house.

Great place to stay overnight in a HGV friendly staff, secure quiet, clean toilet and showers, free tea and coffee making facilities. 10 minute walk across the bridge to the shops and seafront, lovely in the summer.

First of all the positives:- 1. Short walk to both portobello promenade and town centre. So loads of takeaways etc. 2. Good road links to both a1 and city by pass. 3. Free breakfast consisting of cereal, toast, jam, tea coffee etc. 4. Fairly quite location. 5. Friendly and chatty staff. Negatives:- 1. Everything on site dated and basic. 2. No cafe on site or for that matter shop for basic things a truck driver is looking for.

It may not have state of the art facilities but more than makes up for it with the cosy lounge/ kitchen with cereals/bread/butter/tea and coffee provided. Newspapers as well and friendly welcome.

A Decent site Good points friendly and helpful staff clean showers and toilets and free tea and coffee making facilities. Bad points Bumpy very bumpy parking area. No cafe and shop onsite but some take away near by.

Excellent truck park clean toilets and showers there is also a tea room with complimentary tea coffee toast etc. Friendly staff, secure and quiet. 5 min walk to local amenities and beach.

First time I’ve stayed here staff are very friendly ,it’s very quiet so you’ll get a good sleep there is a brew room so you can help yourself ,showers and wash room very basic but clean you can order a takeaway which there is plenty of , if you need somewhere to get your head down in Edinburgh defo a good choice

Decent stop. Friendly staff. Takes snap. Close walk to shops beach and pub! Decent links to Edinburgh City center (security more than happy to direct you). Showers and toilets are clean and tidy & none of that 30s button stuff.. the water runs till you turn it off. Parking isn't too bad few bumps but nothing to cause damage or injury lol.

Good secure & quiet place. Security are fab give you all the info you need for cafes etc. Good clean showers & toilets. Recently refurbed by the look. Plenty of hot water. Old skool parking area but does the job. Thanks guys

Showers, toilet, fresh water all on site friendly and helpful, the only drawback is the power connection is inconvenient and the cable is lying across the yard... approx. 20-25 pounds good turning option for the team, Nightliner with trailer...

Very good parking. Very nice service. Very close to the city center (Asda shopping center) and the beach or, for example, the St. Mark's church. Nice social facilities in a barracks with a pink door... Coffee, toast, etc. for free.. etc. etc. Toilets and showers as in the UK... Minus point: the sandy surface of the parking lot.

I only don't give it 5* because the floor is made of dirt... Calm and quiet place 10 meters from Portobello Beach 20 meters from the supermarket and the village It has a shower and kitchen... With utensils and small snacks. And breakfasts.

On the surface it looks a bit rough but I stayed there and it was really good actually, showers and toilets were clean & decent & a friendly chap on the gate , great little kitchen & sitting room area , far better than a lot of these modern ones down south

There is a shower, toilet, kitchen with dishes and hot water. The staff is friendly. 8 minutes to the beach. There is a bus to Edinburgh.

A great place for a 24-hour break, I highly recommend it. £24 including internet, toilet, shower and kitchen with full fridge for drivers. Close to the beach, shops, etc. It's worth staying here to explore Edinburgh.

Very 🫤 meh! Toilet and shower cabin seen better days. Free tea coffee and cereal. Parking was quite and yard looks like a car scrap yard with major pot holes!

A great place park up for the night/weekend. 5 mins walk to the beautiful Portobello beach or 15mins bus to the city. Secure and a quiet night's sleep. The staff were welcoming and a friendly bunch. Free tea, coffee, cereals, showers, toilets. Showers were hot and acceptable. Just make sure your load is strapped well because the yard is full of craters fit for the moon.

Friendly staff, safe parking short walk to the beech and shops Toilets are outdated but currently being worked on And for half the price of a services and you actually security patrolling so spot on if you are fully loaded
