Just moved into the area and this is on my doorstep, such a lovely place to go, walking the dog and saying hello to all the locals. Lovely!

Despite being brought up in Edinburgh I have to admit a recent visit with a Daughter and Grandson was most enjoyable. The enclosed play area is well laid out and allowing fun and adventure for the wee ones. Plenty of seats around for the "oldies" too.

I walk through this lovely park most days and I love it. The only thing I would say is that they should bring back the swathes of borage and wild flowers that used to be there. They were a paradise for all the bees and other creatures as our wildlife needs all the help it can get!

Lovely park for all to enjoy. Lots of open green space, benches/tables, and a large enclosed play park. This is one of the best parks for kids and the area is so nice. There's a little coffee & pastry van that has very reasonable prices. It can be very busy, so good idea to take a blanket to sit on.

Best park I've had the pleasure to live near to. Busy on a sunny day, peaceful when the wind is up. Play parks for the little critters, tennis and basketball courts, wide open green space or a snug beside a tree. Oh, and the coffee van does a fantastic service for that added buzz.

Unfortunately now playground very busy with children (even busier after school) and parents all day long, refusal bins removed from the park. In a corner of the park there is also smaller playground for younger children, very dated and tired. During pandemia I prefer to go elsewhere.

Great park in a beautiful and peaceful location. Has plenty to offer everyone with plenty of paths to walk on. It is also very well linked, you can access the water of leith walkway and the cycle paths that take you to the shore or granton. Great for a quiet stroll, sometimes there is a coffee van too :]

Absolutely love this park! It's very big with lots of well kept grassy areas, two kids play areas (1 big 1 small), astro turf for football, 2 tennis courts and a proper basketball court. Great for walking the dogs in and around the paths of Victoria Park. Note: in the summer months they set up a little mobile cafe with refreshments etc

Nice park with good playgrounds for kids.There are tennis courts, basketball and football areas, behind fences, free to use. A main cycle path runs through. Popular with dog walkers and joggers. There is a bowling green at the SE end. Often has old Citroen van selling coffees etc. Parking not always guaranteed on adjacent streets.

It is my local green space if you like and I thought I'd go for a "nice peacefull" walk.It didn't happen as the park was full of noisy kids that were not being told to socially distance and neither were the adults around them!Is it any wonder we're having a second wave when irresponsible parents can't keep their kids away from each other.Really?

Really good park for the kids in a lovely area.

Can such a large park be described as a hidden garden? I think so! Victoria Park is out of the way and near the coast, if you didn't know it was there, it would be easy to miss. This large green area is popular with families in the day, with a kids playground and even tennis courts in one corner. Like all parks, it can be a little dangerous at night but is fairly well lit. There are often dogs, running around at pace but rarely golfers or other sports balls to dodge. Victoria Park connects into the the Water of Leith Walk way but not directly. You do have to leave the park, find a junction down and join the network. However, it's close enough to have the Park act as a destination goal for those wishing the traverse the walkway.

Stunning park set between Newhaven Rd and Craighall Rd. Not big but has two play parks. One for under 5's and one for older children. Basketball and tennis courts plus bowls and a small allotment. Very nice. This year they have been leaving the edges long for wild life. And some beautiful trees.

Big park in the north part of town. 2 Playgrounds one significantly better than the other one (it could do with fresh layer of wood chips) lots of paths and green. Every Friday at 11am there is an ageing well park walk lasting about 45 minutes. Starts from the king Edward vii monument.

Got everything you want in a park. Cycle path that connects you to a lot of Edinburgh. Play area for toddlers that has a soft surface, swings, slide, climbing frame. Play area for older kids has a bark surface, slides of varying sizes, tyre swing, monkey bars, flying fox. Basketball court, 2 tennis courts and , 2 AstroTurf pitches that are free to use were recently installed. A few decent sized and well maintained fields for general use. Only negative is the occasional Ned on stolen motorbikes.

I usually visit this park on my way from Granton because whenever i visit my friend who resides over there, i like the peaceful walks that i can have on the cycle paths as well, it gives me time to my thoughts and reflection on my soul because what i do is, whilst i will be walking, i take the advantage of my environment and i start to sing. Frankly for me, Victoria Park is closer to me whilst in that zone; i'd make sure that i go there and make my presence known lol one could say i am musically addicted because it's either i'm singing or rapping. I have this pill+ that i use for music. It's great but i dropped it once when i was at the park, a little drunk ofcourse. So it came to a time when i was in need of financial aid, I tried to sell pill+ at CEX in the center but their offer was more ridiculous than absurd. They offered me 14 pounds for something i bought for 150 pounds. That was the last time i was in CEX but i sure did return to Victoria Park many after though. I was actually annoyed because CEX had the same pill+ that i bought at the price i mentioned before, inspite of that, they were actually selling it for 75 pounds. It's a savage world i tell you, it's like how we don't get change on a bus, maybe somethings are designed to make us eco_smart after all. Thank you.

A haven for dog owners and families with young children, Victoria Park boasts a play park, sports courts and is connected to cycle and walking paths to Leith, Broughton and Newhaven. Always exceptionally clean (even after the summertime picknicking crowds have gone) it's been awarded a Green Flag Award for being an excellent greenspace.

The playground is really nice and complete, the children loved it despite being full of rowdy Scottish children.
