This place is beautiful. Got really nice walks through the trees next to the water. Plenty of car parking space and the kids love it here. There's also a nice wee park for the kids to sit in or picnic benches with barbecue facilities. We also found what seems to be a very popular spot where people choose to either bury or just remember there late pets. Sad but beautiful at the same time.

Great walk which can be long or short whichever you want. Brilliant for the dogs. Enjoy our visits at least once a week. Tearoom to be avoided.

The beautiful walled garden in the Colzium park is a must for anyone who loves plants or just looking for somewhere peaceful and tranquil. The cafe is still closed but when it is open, it is an idyllic place to enjoy a lovely cuppa.

Great place for nature trails, definitely 1 for the wellies, streams, n falls , muddy treks, nature loads of trails n walks inc. Lovely big garden n visitor centre with cafe n toilets facilities swing park/ play park big too generally open to public unfortunately closed just now due to covid but outer property still open quite gd for kids esp. Lots of dog walkers but smashing n very tranquil history to be learned on certain points explained on signs I.e granny's much well worth a visit but can be wheelchair/ disability friendly at visitor centre & main roads but trails could prove not practical ...

Great adventure park for the kid’s followed by a peaceful ramble up the glen with big hardwood trees. Lovely in spring with all the daffodils and not too busy either both times I’ve been here. Even on Easter Sunday when the Easter Bunny happened to be hopping about.

Since I was a kid trips to Colzium have been a regular event. Things have changed considerably. The pitch and putt has gone but has been replaced by an excellent play ground. The walled garden is excellent and the many paths through the ground provide a variety of options Good parking beside what is believed to be the world's oldest curling pond makes this a great place to take children and dogs.

The wall garden is beautiful as are the walls within the park. Had coffee and cake which was fine and served by very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the house itself was closed (there around 2) which was disappointing. Will visit again 🤞house open next time. …

Lovely walks, beautiful green space. First Sunday of every month small model rail do rides round an oval track, a small donation and it does 2 laps of the track ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Picturesque place. Full of Scottish charm. A place definitely for families. I recommend the garden... and at least 30 minutes to sit among the beautiful plants and calm the mind and soul.

Beautiful park with big house, cafe, walled garden and a fantastic play area for children. You can walk to Banton from here - a lovely walk! Oh and the little pet cemetery is worth a look.

I take my dogs here regularly. It's a nice open area with a stream for them to have paddle and enough open space for them to run around. The gardens are lovely and there is a walk separate to the main grass area. Would recommend for dog walkers locally. It also has a play park for those with kids.

I love going to colzium walking its a beautiful place, up the glen is stunning waterfalls, walled garden its lovely in all weathers, the wee tearoom is nice if you want a cuppa and a walk round the loch is lovely. Very therapeutic.

Beautiful park for walking, running, cycling etc. Gorgeous plants, shrubs and trees to look at. There's a Curling pond with ducks/swans and the occasional Heron to see. Lovely little pathways throughout the trees to visit the pet cemetery, the ice house and granny's much and of course the seasonal cafe. All of this and some history thrown in what more could you ask for.

Great place for all the family. There's a park got kis and adult apparatus for adults. Lots of stunning walks and views for keen photographers and tons of History.

Dog friendly downstairs. Upstairs no dogs allowed. Spotlessly clean and super nice and friendly helpful staff. Proper Homemade soup is delicious. Top car park is wheelchair friendly but road is in even in parts so advise go very slow. Other entrances in lower down the slope away from cafe and toilets have much better roads and you can still get to the cafe from the other carparks too. If wheelchair being used then advise top car park near cafe /toilet. There are 3 car parks. Lovely grounds and a brand new level garden suitable for wheel chairs but no dogs allowed adjacent to the cafe. Definitely recommend!!

Lovely public woodland area run by North Lanarkshire Council. Playground area, miles of walks, dog friendly cafe open part of the day in winter, lots of car parks and bus stops at the main entrance.

Handsome gardens and plenty of paths to walk. Think the signage could be improved, road layout into the park/hiuse saw almost everyone having to 3point turn upon reaching the end of a road that peters out into a path.

Very nice park, lots of space and greenery, a place where you can certainly spend time with your family, relatives, friends and children, is where to walk, fun and well-kept trails and lawns. I recommend to anyone who is looking for rest and relaxation and escape from the chase of everyday life.

Looking for a country park with a lake, children's playarea, small football pitch, miniature railway, walled garden, animal cemetery, cafe, theatre, mansion house, a river that has created a beautiful glen, a bandstand - then look no further as the Colzium has them all. Very popular with locals and dog walkers especially during Easter and when the sun is out. On Easter Sunday the hill running down to the bandstand is covered with the remains of hundreds of boiled eggs. A must see event.

I thoroughly enjoy my visit to the Colzium Estate - the walled garden is fantastic and in first class order. All the plants and trees are identified - I found that facility very useful. The Estate is a facility which should make North Lanarkshire Council really proud.
