P. R.Nice walk from Blantyre going through Bothwell and Uddingston however pathway has been sorely neglected and can be tricky in spots.
D. M.Impressive structure taking you over the Clyde from Bothwell to Blantyre. Gives a good view upstream to the weir. We walked along the Clyde from Bothwell Castle, nice walk and will be back again once the David Livingstone Centre has reopened.
S. P.I cycle from Exhibition Center in Glasgow through to Larkhall or New Lanark and I always enjoy seeing this bridge as it indicates around the halfway point for me.
It's fun cycling or walking across it and enjoying the views of the river and the David Livingstone Center. Not one for anyone who is afraid of heights though!
I. D.Beautiful place to be in the summer months always busy with people walking over to blanytire or bothwell day and night .plus you have David Livingstone centre and bothwell castle just along the footpath at the clyde

A.Can cross here from Blantyre to go into Bothwell and Bothwell castle. Or cross from Bothwell to go to David Livingston park or Blantyre. Nice walk through the gate just at the side of the bridge that leads to the castle.

B. C.The centre is newly refurbished and looks great the grounds are presently being up graded. Must do is to visit the gift shop and cafe where the home baking is a must do.
