Reviews of Glasgow Green
A. G.
Great for older and younger kids. Not many parks cater for the older ones. Loads of green space. A fantastic Freewheel North hiring out gocarts, bikes etc and so good with kids and adults of all abilities. Very reasonably priced.
Massive play area for kids and a smaller but still significantly large area for the toddler age group.
Loads of picnic benches to sit at. There is also a cafe there but we didn't use it.
All day fun and you actually don't need to spend any money. Bring your own picnic.
Toilets too which is always a must with kids.
Recommend very highly.
B. R. S.
Worth every penny but you don't need to spend any as entry is free. Beautiful park with stunning architecture. I'm in love . People place museum, fountain and Winter garden , everything is stunning. Free toilets and coffee shop.
S. K.
Glasgow green is a beautiful park with Amazing architecture around. It has the view of the city on one side and beautiful river Clyde on the other. The place is really serene. Great place for a day outing, bike ride and exploring around.
S. P.
Great Park right next to the city centre. There is a foot/cycle path right alongside the Clyde river. It's convenient for a quick break from the hustle & bustle of the city centre. And like all the wonderful parks in Glasgow, it looks different in every season!
S. J.
A very good place to chill out with your family and friends. Have a nice long walk or just go workout. Friendly people all around and your pets will definitely love the place.
I. F.
Very beautiful place!!! A park I stumbled upon! There was an ice cream van inside when I passed by today 🥳 Warm spring day, walking in the park, eating ice cream and admiring the cherry blossoms ...... I love this feeling! …
R.
To have a park next to the river that you can walk through. And enjoy the monuments, places and scenery in the heart of Glasgow is a joy. Great spot for a picnic or let the kids go wild
R. R.
Great place with lots going on. It is free and a gorgeous place to spend sometime, especially on a lovely day. There are options for running along the river, walking around and taking in the views - it has some lovely trees, sculptures, beautiful buildings nearby and much more.
C. M.
Great green space near the city centre. Good for a walk. There is lots to see in this park and has many uses depending on your needs.
N. D.
Wonderful, expansive green space in the heart of Glasgow. Focal point of festivals and picnics alike! Very handy for local amenities such as West on the Green and the scenic People's Palace and closed - at time of posting - Winter Gardens glass house
L. C.
FREE out in the open.
The Glasgow Green was donated to the people of Glasgow. Beautiful green grass going on for ever.
Many paths to walk. Walk dogs. Many bins.
Close to shops and situated in the middle of a built up Glasgow! peaceful and calm.
And the largest ceramic artwork in the world is situated here too!!
L. A.
Love the Green. Wide paths good for walking or cycling. A small park for little ones at the West end and a big sandy park at the East end for all ages. The East end park now has a small coffee shop beside the go-cart area. The go-cart hire is only available on Sundays at the moment, but you can bring your own bikes and use the paths on other days. Only down side, the public toilets beside the park have been closed so you need to go to either West pub-restaurant or The People's Palace a couple of minutes walk away (also has a new cafe).
A. A.
Very big and beautiful park. Best space to have a picnic with your friends and family. Your dog can have his or her time of their life running around.
W. G.
Historically significant to the city and the people's palace is my favourite museum in the city. If you like social history it's the place to go, particularly the single end set up with the voice over.
C. M. Y.
Glasgow Green provides the annual pilgrimage for pipers and drummers from all around the world! A first class venue for the international piping community! Only a 10-15min walk from St. Enoch tube station along the Clyde!
P. W.
Was on coach tour. Really nice place to visit. The fountain was my highlight. Alot of work went into it. Really beautiful. Photo was taken on phone.
W. R.
The park itself is great for walks. It has a sand park for families and children, but it is not a huge place and has limited games. No place to hide when it is raining. There isn't a good transport link, with the nearest bus being about 10mins walk, running only 2x an hour. Nonetheless, there are nearby places to add to your activities such as the People's Palace and fountain, some benches to sit and picnic.
T. P.
Had a coach tour round Glasgow. Stopped here to see the fountain. It was lovely. Only a 5 minute stop though so can't really say more.
z. j.
Such a nice place to visit in Glasgow well maintained.loved the place and it's tranquility, the azure sky is adding beauty to the place.
Y. R.
Nice museum of Glasgow history. Very beautiful fountain. Interesting historic artifacts. Worth visiting to understand history of Glasgow.
L. D.
Trnsm festival held here...brilliant line up... Great space. Daughter used to live near this park lovely place to walk run, cycle through play, picnic...near the river, peace from the city if needed.
C. A.
Really nice park. Brilliant for walking the dogs
d. m.
Great place for a walk in afternoon. Beautiful gardens in places . While a visit .
S. A.
Dog trainings, cleanliness and greenish lawns are the heavenly factors here
T. A. B.
This is an objectively good park, but something about it has just always seemed empty to me.
It hosts many different events and festivals throughout the year, so when nothing is happening there’s just a lot of spare land.
However, both The People’s Palace and the several monuments and statues around the park are beautiful, some of them extraordinarily so. I’d say it’s worth the trip just for those if you’re already in the area.
There’s also an amazing kids play area with truly massive slides interconnected by claimable areas, some held aloft, right up there in the sky with the slides themselves.
It’s also quite busy, which I feel takes away from the atmosphere a bit. I’d say it’s worth visiting if you have kids or are interested in The People’s Palace, otherwise it’s overrated and empty.
I’m giving 4 stars instead of 3 however because I feel like it’s emptiness is understandable, given some of the great events it hosts.
R. A.
This is a great park, well spread out, and has quite a nice play park.
The day I was most recently there, the world championship bagpipe practice was on, so some of the park was fenced off. But there was plenty of room for us to play rounders and have a run about.
Also right next to west brewery pub.
E. L.
Such a lovely wide open park. There are many trails you can walk to starting from here with parks for kids (arguably adults too). Come here to catch up with friends, take in the nature, cycle, run, play football, or even have a picnic. So much to do lovey space. Only thing is I’m not sure it has a toilet nearby?
A. J.
It's very beautiful park, very big park with two kids play areas, both very nice for kids aged 3 to 12-15.
M. S.
Beautiful place to spend quality time with friends and family.
a. a.
Good place to walk or have a picnic in center of Glasgow.
J. C.
Always a good day out for my niece and nephew. Keeps them occupied and happy for a few hours. Really good ice cream van at the park.. Recommend people try the volcano from the van.
A. A.
Such an expansive park to be!!! The kids have a dedicated section where all running around, jumping, climbing and even mini football. This is totally 💯 kids friendly. Talking a stroll, dog-walking, jogging, biking and running can be done in this great Park withIce cream 🍨, and coffee and tea ☕️ available within. …
L. G.
Great Park with the river Clyde running through it.. Swings for the kids... People's Palace insidec the park has a wee cafe...
L. A.
It's essentially an old public park with a few pretty monuments about the grounds. It's far enough away from the bustling parts of Glasgow that it's quite serene and well-kept. You can learn a bit about the history of the park in the nearby People's Palace.
S. C.
I lived close to the green for a year and I must say, it was worth it. The space, the environment was everything and more for me. I used it for runs, picnics, walks, relaxing and even for exercising. It's always a great place to be especially in summer
S. S.
A rich green park, totally justify its name :) .
Occasionally it hosts concerts and other events. River Clyde flowing next to it gives a soothing effect. I really enjoy everytime I goes for a walk in there.
L. D.
Was a fantastic day out and staff were brilliant thanks
V. D.
Went for the Fan zone and it was setup perfectly. Hopefully they recreate other events here in the same fashion. Easy to get to and vast space.
M. S.
Lovely open space in Glasgow. Interesting architecture in and around such as the old Templeton carpet factory building, People's Palace, etc. The flowering cherries at the entrance by Saltmarket with the McLennan arch behind is very picturesque at the moment - 1 April.
M. C.
Fantastic day on the cycle track. Also used their cafe. Fantastic pea and ham soup! Im 70 and my grandaughters 7. We rocked it on the gocarts! It's not open on Saturdays. But the cafe is. The rest of the park is great.
D. M.
Beautiful park to see the colours of autumn. Great walk for dogs too . Lots of areas to visit including the beautiful Doulton fountain .
S.
Super spacious green space great for kids or jog. There are also playground with ship theme where kids can enjoy a fun playtime.
A. R. A. M. (.
Amazing park with a great walking path and relaxing environment. And definitely friendly people of Glasgow make this place worth it for your morning/evening walks!
a. t.
The park was fantastic. We spent most of the time at the playground. The slides were amazing. And was impressed how clean sand was.
R. s.
Lovely place to hang out with friends and family, or take a wee walk and do your work outs. Kids can enjoy the play ground as well.
G. L.
Full of.wee.kids ,total over priced ,pure scandal man
F. L.
Great place to walk around. Nice green lawns to picnic on or play football. Great paths for bicycle riding or running, also accessible for people with disabilities.
T. P.
Truly an amazing place. Perfectly cut fields and beautiful vegetation combined with monuments and backdrops of gorgeous architecture and the River Clyde. This place is perfect for a run, to set up a canvas and paint or just to draw, and take as many photographs as you can while you're here. You can also play football or rugby in the large stretches of grass, and there are football fields are also located in the southeastern corner of this place, and there are plenty of playgrounds for kids, too. All around a great place that I can't recommend enough
M. S.
An amazing park, with lots to see. Many monuments and the People's Palace Museum are wonderful.
M. G.
The museum was very good. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful.
M. T.
Thanks you @GlasgowCityCouncil for the investment you make in keeping this world class beating Victorian park. Stunning! If you have kids be sure to take them to the 2 play areas. A stunning spot with incredible monuments, the glass House and fountains. All on our door step.
S. H.
Large open park on the river, just east of the city centre. Good kids playgrounds. Contains the People's Palace and is next to WEST Brewery. Shame the Winter Gardens are closed for safety reasons at the moment because it is a nice space and housed the only cafe inside the park.
A. S.
Interesting city, bustling and not as quiet and historical feeling as Edinburgh or other cities. Industrial look but some very beautiful buildings which remind me of Macintosh and other architects. I actually had dinner at a TGIF and found the bar patrons to be very easy going.
C. P.
Beautiful park along the river with long pathways for a morning jog
O. B.
Glasgow lovely city quite to find yourself around if you don't no what your going to plan n do. I suggest you make a plan and a route you'd like to take and spend your days exploring and knowing what to do next as there so much you and plan and do. It's a really nice feel to Scotland so with many different trips to locks and wild life you need to be on your toes to make most of it all. Great place and I have a, awesome time. CNt wait to go back! Great city. Oliver
m. B.
One of Glasgow finest parks, history is Amazing and the peoples Palace and coronation fountain make you proud to be from Glasgow, the River clyde runs through the park And the smell of the yeast from the tenant's brewers catches your senses, love the experience of Sunday walks with my 2 little Dogs.

Good for kids.
I recommend it on sunny days to enjoy the sun
M.
Visited Glasgow Green for the Trnsmt Festival 2022. Found it to be a nice space and would like to visit again with less people
b. c.
I was at Glasgow Green for the annual Pedal For Scotland Glasgow to Edinburgh cycle, as were thousands of other cyclists.
This was the very last one, and I'm sure everyone will miss it.
We were given a great send off and piped on our way by the gent in the photo.
A great day, made all the more special
by the send off from " The Green."
R. W.
Pleasant and peaceful parkland by the Clyde and close to city centre. Clean too. Plenty of space to meet socially distanced in these times
T. R.
What a fantastic park! Even with a lot of people around it never felt over busy. Lots and lots of place to sit without feeling on top of anyone else. With such fabulous weather, perfect place for a picnic in the park
D. R.
Glasgow green cycle track was brilliant for the kids, they all enjoyed themselves enormously.
M. I.
Perfect place for your dog walk and many more fun places for kids to play around .
P. B.
It has a good variety of kids as tivities... Nice big sections of cut grass... Also monuments and places of interest....
Views and vegetation always change.
The river next to makes it great.
It never gets full (unless a specific function is done, like theme Park, or music festivals are done)
There is also a rowing club
The park is nice in every season....
If you get caught in the rain there are not many places to shelter from it..
C. S.
This park is so dog friendly and one of the most beautiful parks in Glasgow YET AGAIN Glasgow city council have neglected another building of great heritage they are only too keen to confront others who have neglected other buildings but they always have double standards and of course it is always easy to spend COUNCIL TAXpayers money maybe if they had to earn the cash like the self employed this would be different I AM DISAPPOINTED
L. S.
People's palace museum free to enter.
You could spend a day here. The barrow lands just around the corner. Good place for a bargain.
A. G.
Nice piece of green space in the heart of city
l. w.
Great place in the heart of Glasgow, great place to take the kids. Great walks and views. Family favourite.
f. h.
Lovely grounds and lots of interesting exhibits of living in Glasgow over the years - great for social history buffs! Hopefully the Winter Palace will be open again soon.
k. m.
A very large park with very good ambience, a large fountain, kids play areas and a lake view around the corner. Good for walking and joggers in the Glasgow city
F. W.
I love visiting Glasgow Green because I have a dog who loves chasing her ball in the wide open spaces! I have back problems so I welcome the many benches which are available so that I can sit and rest. The only reason I have not given 5 Stars is that the beautiful and historical Winter Gardens has not been maintained and has been left to become derelict which is unforgivable in my opinion
J. F.
Lovely place, went round the people's Palace greeted at the door by a young lady who explained where everything was and also spoke to some of the guides who were very well informed, we took my 92yr old mother in law who loved seeing things from her past and we finished with something to eat in the cafe, well worth a visit and free just a donation if you want to.
D. F.
Amazing park. Great for kids, a day out with a picnic, a bit of healthy lifestyle for a run or a shot of the outdoor gym equipment or just to walk along the clyde 😍😍😍 …
M. G.
A nice place to walk around. The greenery and monuments really adds the beauty to the place.
i. r.
Clean tidy and fresh. Good for kids and walks. Bikes available for rent along with iconic places to visit nearby and onsite. The Bridgeton side of Glasgow Green has a sandy play area for kids and a quad tri and double wheeled bike rental place which is so cheap. Great fun and almost free.
G. C.
Slowly becoming a better shopping experience but miles behind the big malls and shopping complexes.
Lacking top name shops. If they are there the people will come.
We go elsewhere because they're not in Clydebank.
M. M.
It is one of the stops of the Glasgow City Sightseeing Hop On Hop Off Bus. It has a fountain that is surrounded by the commonwealth countries with some statues scultured on each side. Behind the park there is also a People's Palace. Explore the city’s social history through a wealth of historic artefacts, paintings, prints and photographs, film and interactive computer displays. Get a wonderful insight into how Glaswegians lived, worked and played in years gone by.
I. S.
Brilliant wee place for walks with the family amd plenty of green for chilling with a picnic. There's a lovely fountain across from the people's Palace too.
W. P.
Extensive green space close to city centre. Leads down to lovely part of River Clyde where rowing clubs practice. Home to People's Palace and Winter Gardens. Adjacent to magnificent Templeton's building that houses a brewery (West)
D. R.
We took the dog to Daisy Green, nice park it has metal bench
To sit on,but they don't have backs on them it would have been better to have a seat with a back ,as some people have bad backs and can't sit for any amount of time on benches made like this, but it is a well kept park.
S. K.
Glasgow green is amazing place to timepass with your family and friends. Lush green as name suggests and located along with river clyde and city centre. Ample of area to roam around. Cycle tracks are also there so you can take your bikes with you. All in all _ must go place in Glasgow.
K. H.
Best place for a gig especially in the sun!!!
K. L.

Great park, cyclable, good for running, walking. Well maintained. Can visit the cafe, museum and get an ice cream on the way into town.
P.
Lovely place to come any day of the week, free entry as is most places on Glasgow, stroll around are look at the variety of plants in the large heated glasshouse or sit and relax, read a book, top it off with something from the great cafe.
S. Y.
This park is a really wonderful place, where you can relax with families or friends at the weekend, as well as daily play with your home pets. Whenever you're walks through green lawns and see some local animals of this place, you fill free from everything bad.
J. S.
The place for good walks and kids play areas,it's a bit tatty just now after the pop festival Transmt but still a great park and wonderful to see People's Palace open again
M. S.
Wonderful facility for sports, football 3G, hockey etc. Nice walk along the Clyde.
1st time there, but loved it.
E. F.
It's okay. Nothing special.
D. J.
My favourite place in Glasgow. I live close by and consider it my garden 🙂
Beautiful and relaxing. You can enjoy a walk along the River Clyde. Visit the People's Palace for some Glasgow history or just relax on a bench and watch the world go by. There's a Nextbike station if you fancy a wee cycle around the green. …
S. P.
Glasgow's history resides herein. The original common land of the city. Animals fed herein. People gathered and clothes were washed. Seldom busy but not much to see.
F. H.
Beautiful park. Huge grassy green fields. A lovely modern little play park aswell.
T. Č.
Good area for dogs, joggers and bikers.
Very few benches to sit and enjoy the green of the lawns and tress.

S. A.
Nice big garden....far from noise. .. perfect if you have pet or child's. ..also noce place to practice some sport ...running or Just to walk with friends...
R. F.
Had a grate night out watching the firework show. Parking was a bit of a nightmare tho.
And there is only one way into the park to watch the show.
We parked on the Dalmarnock side of the park and had to walk about a mile of so to get to the entrance.
Everywhere is blocked off for safety.
It was a spectacular show tho. Really enjoyed the night out with the family.
M. T.
Good place for watching and running
D. M.
Living in the East End of Glasgow this park is a definite highlight. Two big swingparks if you've a family, walk along the Clyde, grab a pint at West on the Green, or just sit down with a picnic and watch the world go by. Will always enjoy coming here.
Y. H.
Great park in a nice location. More seating areas such as benches would be beneficial as well as more cafes to enjoy a walk out.
The playground is very good although the sand does collect and hide rubbish very well.
y. p.
Glasgow Green is a park in the east end of Glasgow , Scotland , on the north bank of the River Clyde. Established in the 15th century, it is the oldest park in the city. This attraction could be seen by Glasgow hop on hop off bus tour.
R. M.
Beautiful park, although it seemed a bit neglected in places. It kind of adds to the charm though.
J. K.
Glasgow Green is a beautiful and very big park. There is a lot to do with children or if you like to do some outside activities.
R. W.
I came to eat my fish supper I buy it from coronation chippy gallowgate and sit at the green enjoying the view best way to eat.and enjoy .
M. M.
One of the best places in Glasgow, its a Must visit if you come for tourism or relaxation or just for a nice place to do exercise or going out with the family. Best time to visit this place is around sunset, it is just Magical!! Dont miss it!
A. M.
Good sized park in Central Glasgow for walks, runs and cycles and also leads onto the National Cycle Route 74 (if you fancy going a longer trek). Gets used a lot for events, such as TRNSMT music festival and recently used during European Championship as a festival zone and start/end of the Cycling Road Race. Also home to the Peoples Palace museum which I would also recommend. Overall, worth visiting whilst in Glasgow.
J. B.
Beautiful wide open space the only thing keeping it getting 5 stars is the smoke coming from a distillery just across the river.
J. B.
A wee local venture for us. We always do a long loop of this park and enjoy spending time here. Good to see some development work happening on the waterfront too.
B. M.
Glorious gateway to the Eastend. Great open spaces for all to enjoy. Home to the People's Palace, Doulton Fountain and Glasgow's Doge's Palace ... Templeton's
P.
Great place to go with the family, kids can have fun in the play park while adults can sit nearby or go to the museum 😀 …

J. M.
Nice and peaceful place 4a walk dog friendly 😁 …
B. B.
Nice walk slightly spoilt on a Saturday night by screams of people on a night out and the scent of weed in the air from people sipping on can of cheap cider whilst rolling rizlas.
P. A.
Fantastic place for walk, play, picnic and family get-together.its good in summer.
S. W.
Great park in the centre of Glasgow, People's Palace and many more great bits within it including many fun things for children
R. T.
A large, peaceful park perfect for getting away from the city without travelling out if it. There are also riverside pathways that are great for walking, running, and cycling.
D. P.
Lovely, great place for a good walk, plenty of space
S. T.
Great part of Glasgow and close to the Merchant City as well as the Barras and the park is a great meeting place for young and old and particularly brilliant for the young kids as the play park has excellent facilities for the kids.
P. M.
Love this place. Lots of places for the kids to play and plenty of places for a quiet walk or picnic. Also has the People's Palace there1
M. I.
A beautiful and nice garden (truly green) by River Clayde. It has few playgrounds for children.
C. B.
A very pleasant space with locals and students enjoying the weather cooking up BBQs or playing volleyball. The park itself is very clean and well kept
r. M.
Amazing place for walk on the bank of the river Clyde
j. d.
Went to the world pipes and drums band championship excellent experience and very helpful staff plenty to do and a fantastic 2 days, roll on next year 👍 …
A. M.
Great city park for a relaxing walk followed by a visit to the Peoples Palace (good food served here). Lots of Glasgow history.
L. M.
Loved it as always, though this year the fireworks and music didn't seem to match up as well as usual but still a great display. The carnival was also good this year with a good range of rides to suit all ages. My two grand children had brilliant fun in the roundabouts with their mums.
A. M.
The dear green place in Glasgow. Lots of things for kids to do. Adventure area, hiring bikes etc... Go along the Clyde River Bank and cross the many bridges including 'The swingy bridge' that makes you feel its going to crash down as it moves erratically when you cross it (my opinion only!)
G. S.
Needs a good day to c all the stuf
D. H.
Great park and place for kids. But there needs to be public toilets available
k. S.
Great big spacious park. Suitable for walks, cycling, running and two great playparks for the kids. Well maintained park. Glasgow Bicycles for hire nearby.
S.
Amazing Place, a lot of stuff to visit and discover, host of Euros.
B. B.
Lovely walk lots for kids to do and adults lots of trees
J. B.
Great venue TRNSMT roll on 2023....amazing👌 …
L. P.
Such a beautiful park with acres of grass and walkways to enjoy. There are multiple playparks for children, some benches throughout to sit on, and on sunny days there's usually an ice cream van around. Unfortunately they've now fenced off the walkways just around the Winter Garden, behind People's Palace, because of the danger of the windows falling out. Renovation is needed and no one seem to know if the funds are gonna be available.

M. T.
Stunning place. We are so blessed that @GlasgowCityCouncil keeps our park spaces so nice. It's an important part of our city and investing in huge green spaces and awesome play areas makes living here great. If you're a visitor be sure to visit.
J. A.
Great place
There is always something on at the green
Nice clean and safe
L. A. J.
Awesome park to enjoy the day with friends and family located next to the Clyde River
K. N.
Such a clean, peaceful place to visit.I sat quite happily with my picnic lunch, listening to river, birds and saying 'hi' to people passing by. Bike, dog friendly .Ideal for any age....Clean fresh air in city centre, now that's amazing.
S. J.
Great park everything for everyone, worth a visit
C. D.
Great wide open spaces great for marches and demos
S. I.
Such a lovely park to have morning exercise here!
T.
It's a great place for walking plus your dogs. It's also good for doing a few laps on your bike, but it gets busy so there's a track that goes along the clyde that you can use which goes all the way to Rutherglen or the other way takes you to the transport museum all on the same track
S. M.
Nice place to walk if you're looking for a bit of fresh air and scenery. Plenty of open space so ideal for outdoor leisure activities and there's 2 Kids play parks so good place to take the kids providing the weather is nice enough.
A. M.
Massive park with a great location being located in city centre. Plenty of room to sit in large groups and yet not feel to cramped. Location next to the Clyde is a nice bonus. The occasionally NED ruins the atmosphere by thinking they’re hard riding a dirt bike through the park, embarrassing
S. F.
Annual fireworks was fantastic. I gets very busy and if it's wet I recommend staying off the grass
M. R.
Beautiful foliage
T. R.
If looking for pictures in the area, this should be one to get. Will have to go back again at some point when the weather is better
R. H.
Lovely park. TRNSMT festival had some good music but terribly managed / policed.
M. K.
Wonderful, expansive, and historic park. Great place to get some exercise or just walk your dog.

Good open space museum is in lovely building called the Peoples Palace
G. G.
This is a beautiful park, you can easily spend a really nice morning or afternoon there, lots to see and do. O strongly recommend you to bring your food as options are limited.
B. H.
Site of the last public hanging in Glasgow at the entrance to Glasgow Green. Really worth a visit
E. S. G.
We joy to a bus tour in Glasgow, the time we have is not enough.
M. D.
One of the best playgrounds in Glasgow if not the best. Biggest slides...even big enough for adults. Great atmosphere for a day out with the family or just to read a book.
L. S.
Amazing place for tourists and walk, clean and big
H. T.
Fantastic place to play hockey and grate pitches

Nice place to escape the hussle n bussle of the city centre. The winter gardens are incredibly impressive. I really hope they survive. The gallery is a great place to learn about Glasgow's historic past.

L. *.
Fabulous night at my first Proms in the Park
Great atmosphere . We arrived early and got a great spot. Camping chairs are a must.
S. T. T.
I went to the TRNSMT festival at Glasgow Green. It was near to the city centre hotels, so easy access. The organisation of the music festival was good. Entry to the festival was fast despite the heightened security because of the terrorist threat.
Despite the rain the ground remained firm underfoot. The bars and food stalls were well organised and mainly ran with short queues.
Looking forward to the 2018 event.
j. m.
Glasgow city council should be congratulated for the work that has taken place and improvements still underway. I remember the Green back in the day was a less than people friendly place. Red ash pitches, and quite bleak. Now it's buzzing. People enjoying the wide range of sports and recreation that's available for all ages.
A. L.
Lovely setting and fantastic museum at the People's Palace
m.
Nice place to take the kids and dogs. Can chill out really easily here. If you look, there is a lot to do here if you want. There are also events taking place here. Overall a brilliant well maintained park 👍 …
J. A.
Well I'd just cycled all the way from Carluke most of it on the Clyde walkway with some diversions as in getting lost but it was all good in the end made it to Glasgow green lots of people and and families enjoying the park good to see 🙏and there in front of me was this ice cream van i got a very large ice cream and can of coke the full jolt none of yer sugar free nonsense for me .then headed for Central station and the train home .
J. O.
Well kept park, People's Palace set majestically within the grounds.
K. M.
This area is one of the gems of glasgow there are tales a plenty about the area. Loads of sights to behold and a lovely walk rain or shine. This area is one of the most diverse in the city you will find people from all walks of life enjoying the same area as one.
Grab a map from somewhere and have a monument hunt with the children/ friends or just sit on a bench and watch the city go by. Great times.
People's palace is also here halfway through a refurb it is not at its best however still worth a visit and it's free.
G. O.
Not a bad park really, the peoples palace is looking a bit run down at the minute though which is a shame.
S. W.
Fantastic place, would love to live here, so much to do and see.
L. C.
TRNSMT 2019 was, of course, absolutely class. Sold out, but not as cramped as 2017 was, so I think they've mastered it. On top of that, Glasgow Green is a wonderful site for an event like this, absolutely will come again!
B. K.
Great Park always fun for Harry also good for a walk around the grounds
p. s.
There is a great place in the Green run by Free Wheel North, they allow people of all ages and abilities to come and enjoy their track in a bike suited to you or your families needs. Also if you feel in need of a coffee and cake the Coffee on the Green there also helps keep away the January blues.
J. M.
Lovely park in the city with great kids play area. The Sunday cycling club is well ran with a fantastic selection of bikes trikes and karts.
A. K.
The park is nice to go for a walk. People's palace is not the greatest, we walked in and walked out. However the monuments around the park are really neat.
C. K.
The world's first public park. See the spot where James Watt had his idea for his steam engine that launched the industrial revolution, Nelson's column and beautiful terracotta Empire fountain.
H. S.
Beautiful property. Informative museum of Scottish life throughout history.
C. H.
World pipe championship, very well run and not rip off prices , well done to all involved in the running of this event

K. V.
I go to the dog park, and it's such a nice place clean tidy all fenced and gated. A great place to take your four legged friend.
J. M.
Great park . Can get busy , but still plenty space and things to do
S.
There's lots to see and do in Glasgow Green when Covid isn't getting in the way. The People's Palace, the football centre, geese on the river, the cycle route and so on.
D. N. P.
A huge green space for stress release, for a morning or evening walk, or even for cycling. Went there for a walk and sat on the green field for some reading. I enjoyed the playground as well
A. K.
Beautiful park. Extremely manicured and not enough wilderness to attract birds or other wildlife. Brilliant for a walk or for kids to play in. Would have loved it more if there was more wildlife. The river side was dirty too and needs to be cleaned.
A. L. L.
My favorite place for a long walk
M. A.
The greenery everywhere reduces the stress level. Must visit for a walk, running, playing games or just spending time with family and friends in a serene environment.
C. F.
Nice park on the side of the Clyde, close to the city centre. Could do with a few more benches/picnic tables, but nice place to visit for a little walk.
Has a kids play park, that probably suits kids 6/7 and younger
C. I.
Magnificent open space in the heart of Glasgow. Steeped in history.
N. O. B. C.
You may do everything you want...!! Excellent place to relax...!! TRNSMT Festival 2022...!! Great event...!!
K. T.
Good park for jogging, walking and cycling for kids. Rowing clubs also based in Glasgow green as well as football and hockey pitches. Large climbing frame and slides for older children and a sand based younger playpark for toddlers. Another playpark also at city centre entrance to park
S. E.
Amazing weekend at TRNSMT festival, great atmosphere and organisation will definitely be going again next year!
A. P.

Biggest park in the city centre. Lots of nice flat areas for picnics. Dog friendly areas. A few plaques dotted around describing historic events that happened in the park.
S. H.
Beautiful, green open space with plenty of trees and opportunities for shade, picnics, or playing.
Only a 5-10 minute walk from the town centre.
D. S. (. B.
Amazing, socially distanced,trouble free concert.
d. G.
Relax and allow the Kids to explore the green park and the playgrounds.
D. C.
A great space to chill out after a busy day at work or shopping. Nicely maintained.
C. P.
Great open outdoor space for walking, cycling, running, field games...etc
Multiple paths to choose from plus a playground for kids and the free-entry Peoples' Palace museum (currently closed for refurbishment)
H. S.
A stroll through this park is so peaceful🌿🌳🍃🍀🌲 …
M. A. B.
Went to the people's museum great display and
P. M.
Great park in the heart of the city. Easily accessible from all areas of the city. Host to many public events such as concerts, Kiltwalk, Euro 2020 fan zone, etc.
D. B.
Under used facility near the city centre. Great for a walk or picnic, don't miss the Riverside walk, amazing to see so many people out rowing.
F. M.
Great park, nice playground for kids
M. W.
The GLASGOW GREEN is very close to where I stay N the GORBALS so it's good to walk the dog or if your into fitness you can run around it there's also a place for the kids to go where they have a big play park. There's usually a ice cream van outside the kids play ground but there's shop's in the local errors near the park . You can also go to the pitches N the other part of the GREEN were there is 5 a side pitches or 7 a side pitches as well as the full size pitches but you have to rent them am not to sure how you go about hiring them but one of the time's we played football there we payed at the changing rooms that was before lock down so a don't no what difference there is now . But the full green is a family friendly zone especially if it's a sunny day .
D. R.
Fantastic green space with an amazing playpark for the kids and a great go-karting and bike track for only £1 per person for 15 mins (if it's quiet they let you stay on longer )
L. B.
It can be nice. Love the enclosure for the dogs - good size space! Dogs can also enjoy the grass bits but good recall is a must because they could end up on the main roads around Glasgow Green
C. S.
Nice park in the city centre with a really good children's playground. Kept our toddler entertained for hours. Well maintained and clean
A. G.
Was there for the World Pipe Band Championships, was a great day, well organised, my hat of to the organisers
A. W.
Glasgow Green is Glasgows oldest park, its best? Personally I don't think so, but with some really good features, including The People's Palace and Mclennans Arch and an excellent walk along the Clyde. The Green is used a lot in the summer months as an outdoor location for concert events with great success as it's so easy to get to, the only drawback is this closes large areas of the park to the public. Certainly worth a visit is Peoples Palace.
G. B. (.
Lovely place to have a walk in a good weather but probably you can have a run as well overe there. Enjoyed every moment what did I spent there
A. S.
Glasgow green is great for cycling. Clyde river is at its best when viewed from Glasgow green. Good place to exercise and view the sunset during summer days.
M. z.
Very wonderful garden to visit and an enormous playground for child
O. O.
A place of peace and quiteness. A wonderful spot for family time. You will love the greenery
L. E.
It is a very large garden area for recreation and fun times. It also has playground for both children and adults.
J. W.
Lovelly park..nicely situated good for outdoor activities, boathouse for rowers being renovated will look fab when completed maybe a cafe could open for the people using the park, pretty sure it would be busy throughout the year extra revenue for the club ??👍😀 …
G. Y.
A nice place to visit. In May 2022 the green house was closed and the water fountain was not yet running. The People's Palace was interesting.
J. M.
My son Mark and I did Race for life there and what a great day and turn out..
E. I.
It is a nice place to be when you have friends around and good for bbq as well.
B. G.
Glasgow Green is a great open space at the start of the East End of Glagow. It's a real haven for dog walkers, joggers and runners and anyone looking for a green space in the centre of the city.
It's a meeting point for many parades and marches that are part of city life and also an easily accessible venue for many festivals and live events that take place there.
b. w.
At transmit gig , fantastic day it was , seriously tho , payment by card only is horrendous, cash payments should be taken , not happy .
I. S.
Lovely. Shame though that there are no public toilets open after about 4pm. Picnic tables would be good for young families too.
M. M.
Beautiful location to spend an afternoon. My daughter and I visited Glasgow last week for 4 nights we had a wonderful time. The highlight was 3 hours spent having a long lunch on the green and loving the warm sunshine. The only thing I would like to highlight was the lack of toilets and the distance we had to walk to a Portacabin. Otherwise I would highly recommend.
R. G.
Large green space, perfect for bikes and walking as the paths are so wide. Great for a sunny say to sit on the grass, there is also exercise equipment available. Lots of dogs running around and a massive play park for kids. I love to go here and relax or for a bike ride.
R. U.
One of the best places in Glasgow for a walk to get a bit of fresh air.
И. И.
It is a lovely quiet park where you can take a walk, go for a run or just enjoy the weather at the big green spaces.
J. M.
The green is great place for walking cycling and walking the dog nice open spaces and seeing the renovation of the rowing clubs and the weir is a nice touch although long overdue if only the council could put as much effort into fixing the winter gardens atched to the peoples museum but im not holding my breath
S. V.
Lovely place neat and clean. Children play area is located at one corner very far.
A. C.
Too sad that it was raining when I visited here. Still this well-managed park was a very nice place to visit and look around.
M. S.
There for the world piping competition very busy great open space
J. F.
Only thing is there is not enough seats through out the park
P. P.
Very clean and green! Don't forgot to visit if you go to Glasgow.. !
E. P.
Lovely place for a walk with your thought
K. A.
Great place for a flat walk. Also has a couple of great swing parks for the kids. So good, that Bonny Prince Charlie and his army, camped here from xmas day to 3rd January 1745 / 1746 😁 …
L. A.
I always enjoy Glasgow Green. With a children's park at each end, wide paths and swathes of green its a lovely place to walk, exercise or sit and people watch. Have West Brewery at the east end for a refreshment bite n' brew doesn't hurt either.
D. S. T.
Awesome place to spend a lot of time with family. Nature at its best.
M. J.
Nice park..
Play area for kids could be better with more rides and some more safety measures..
V. P.
Good place to visit for a walk. Also you can sit and chill in the park it is very peaceful.
A. L.
One of Glasgows many jewels, a large open public space within a few minutes walk of the town centre, and well served by bus routes.
The Peoples Palace and Winter Gardens are here, but sadly closed as the Council.refuse to fund maintenance and staffing - indeed appear to be seeking to sell these public properties to private developers.
Lovely area, and should be preserved for the people of Glasgow and the many visitors to our historic city.
R. A.
Lovely spot to start the 45 mile cycle to Edinburgh! Even if it was damn cold because of the early start.
R. W.
Lovely park with different areas for different activities. Nice to be next to the river too, although this does make it colder in the winter. Gardens are really well kept and lawns nicely mowed. There is also a couple of fenced off areas where you can let your dog off the lead towards the middle of the park. There is parking if you look for it especially over on the east side. Definitely go - great park.
J. W.
Good for dog walking and family days out
M. D.
Clean and nice park. Ideal for picnic, walk or chilling with a book
Nice spots next to the river
G. C.
Love to run, cycle, walk, go to concerts and go to the brewery at West here.
S. A. S.
You can watch some eye-catching sceneries in this park. On top of that, I enjoyed the lively atmosphere. If you go there you can experience that you are alive and you enjoy that presence.
G. B.
Attended for Biffy Clyro concert. Very well organised in preparation for the TRNSMT festival
D. P.
Nice place
L. E.
Glasgow green have a big children playground, jungle gym, go kart, sand playground! Its a very big park and good for families! Kids must love it and as a parents they also have a lot of benches!
J. L.
Yes it's looking a lot cleaner, no Neds hanging around. Nobody there that's looking for trouble like gangs, to big of groups it just destroys the area. Children and families can relax when it's clean and safe.
A. Y.
Nice and big gardens to sit, eat, visit & bbq
T. G.
Beautiful park to visit... Not far from peoples Palace too
N. N.
There's always something fun happening in the area, whether it's a festival or a fun fair. A trip to Glasgow Green is always worth it.
T. G. C.
Visited the carnival with the kids whilst it is on during Easter holidays.... although the kids enjoyed it, the carnival was quite small compared to previous years,
M.
Very nice park
Love it in autumn
T. D.
It was a the 3rd year of this walking football festival at the Green. And my 1st time playing great day and well organised.
A. M.
Great during the day plenty of space, ice cream vans and plenty to do, wouldn't go anywhere near as it's getting dark
S. L.
Lovely space for a walk & events, plenty of food & drink near by, short walk to town & transport
T. M.
A peaceful place to go for a stroll a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of central Glasgow , lots of paths and the Peoples Palace cafe in the centre of the park.
E. Š.
Lovely park in town. Perfect for local walks, cycling. Has several playgrounds for different age children. There's a good sized dog park there too.
C. H.
1st TRNSMT festival, great venue, great lay out.
t. w.
Beautiful space with lovely surroundings. I rented a bike and cycled through the park and alongside the Clyde. Impressive buildings and monuments plenty play areas for children.
A. R.
Amazing sights to see all around.
A. H.
It is the right place for bbq and family, many facilities for children and adult as well.
g.
Absolutely beautiful place especially the fountain
I. T. V.
Peefect for relaxing walks or a jog. Particularly beautiful on sunny days.
D. B.
Was at Glasgow green for photo on my wedding day on Saturday 21st September 2019 as it was a beautiful day
K. K.
Have always loved Glasgow Green, born less than a mile from it, shame about the People's Palace though, I was going to visit but was told it was closed due to cut-backs, even though, it's brilliant walking the tree lined paths watching the rowers and people having a day out. Hope the weather holds and I will return often.
A. H.
Nice Glasgow park, lots to see and good for walking
A. H.
Gr8 walk brilliant scenery....
M. M.
Lovely park hot chocolate amazing
D. M.
The kids loved the sand park the boys loved the big field to go play football and we will be back pretty soon 😀 …
P. A. S.
Beautiful park, great for a walk, the kids play park needs to be restored.
E. B.
A wonderful place for recreation and tranquility💯 …
b.
Requires some investment. Lack of facilities and poor kids play parks compared with other towns and cities it's a shame that more cannot be invested with the money generated from events held in on the Green. It seems the focus is on events rather than daily usage by the public. Such a shame for a cornerstone of the city.
B. G.
Nice little park, good open spaces with a kids play area. It's well kept, just not very big really.
T. C.
Lovely walking area. With football, park close by
J. M. B.
Stunning location given the weather
T. G.
Beautiful and well maintained. Kids loved the play park with plenty to do. Loved seeing the mounted Police on their rounds who stopped to speak with me and my young daughter who loves horses.
D. C.
Glasgow Green never fails to deliver. It is the people's park. It is in the heart of the city with the majestic River Clyde to the south. I have been to events and concerts I've the years. I've even performed on stage there.
You have architecture - the People's Palace and the Doge's Palace. There is sculpture. And you can walk to your heart's content.
If you've never been then you need to go.
S. J.
Was here for TRNSMT, nice large green space
A. T.
A vast park with great view of the horizons.
A. M. S.
Take my dog here it's great they have secure place for dogs to play
F. E.
Really enjoyed walking through Glasgow Green with Tony Macaroni, my boy.
J.
Well kept and very open. I cycle here a few times a week, and it seems popular with other cyclists too. The kids park is good too, completely enclosed and I enjoyed it when I was younger.
A. F.
A huge park with ample parking down at the far end. We come to use the bike track as our kids love using the Go karts and trikes there around the mini roundabouts and so on. We had a great time even in the pouring rain!
The West brewery at the far end is my favourite place in Glasgow and my go to recommendation for any new visitors. If you're coming to see the people's palace, or enjoy the park why not stop in and check it out. A must for Beer lovers!
D. C.
Loads to see and do even in the pouring rain 🌧️ …
s. m.
A lovely spot for a walk and well looked after nowadays... there has been a lot of changes here over the last 10 years and all for the better and nice to see the local cops cycling through the park, makes you feel nice and safe and they were friendly and said hello as they passed. Cant say I noticed much litter or dog muck which a lot of city centre parks can be blighted with. All in all nice for a breath of fresh in the centre of Glasgow
D. C.
Great place to walk with the kids, walk the dogs or go for a gentle cycle. Wee bridges over the Clyde so can watch a bit of rowing or take in a bit of nature. There's the arch and fountain to check out too. After covid - go and visit People's Palace .... 👍 …
R. F.
Lovely place for a walk. Play area for children. Seating in various places.
w. k.
There is so much to explore at this park. Different playgrounds, Free Wheel North (catering for all abilities) bikes, trikes and modified ones for those less abled. There's a also a new social enterprise cafe there too.
k. w.
Great place to be if weather is great it has all different shows going on this weekend, different age group lots off police so don't go if you don't have a ticket to get in
R. B.
Wonderful walk by the Clyde after fabulous beer and food at WEST on the Green...
S. M.
Beautiful park. Unfortunately Obama doesn't like bagpipes. Wrong day to visit.
e. m.
Love this Park I was born near ❤ it has a great museum called the people's Palace which gives a good history of Glasgow from the earliest times until today it is also the first designated park in Europe also has a botanical garden with plants and trees 🌳from all over the world and a good place to relax and chill out I would recommend it to anyone
S. D.
Great calm and quiet public space
i. m. b.
Went to it for trnsmt and it was nice but alot of sus baggies on the floor
S. W.
Large beautiful grass park area great for relaxing and strolling on a warm day. Fabulous large terracotta water fountain in the centre surrounded by bench seating (pity it wasn't working). Separate children's play area containing traditional swings and roundabouts.
W. A.
Well done clean park with a run on
C. D.
I went for a walk, the fountain was on which was pretty nice. We stopped in at West, the food was on point and the beer was cold. The service was spot on, quick without hanging over you. Also it's good if you have a dog.
A. M.
Very nice park and green in the city centre
M. H.
Visited using the Hop on hop off bus, on our way to the People's Palace
C. Q.
Excellent park and all totally free kids love it
R. B.
Nice place to go on a sunny day.
K. B.
Yeesss, Yeeessss Ohhh Yeeeeeesssssssssss
The G-spot.
S. C.
Nice place to take the kids to run about and play and have a picnic. We came during the European championships 2018 and had another of activities and things to see for kids. It's just off the city centre and 10 minute walk straight down the hill from high Street station. The park is very bis and runs all the way along to the people palace which is a nice place to take the kids.
D. P.
Lovely large green space right in the middle of the city. Has a fenced area for dogs which is great. Can go walks along the river or round to see the lovely Doulton Fountain. A nice place to come and spend time outdoors, plenty of parking and a short walk from the train station.
V. K.
great place for walking, cycling. Nice place for children. Very good playground for smaller children, it's like a ship, and also there is a space for bigger kids with sand and huge slides. This park is absolutely gorgeous in the spring time.
D. M.
Family fun day at the shows ,kids had a great time.
D. A.
It's big, it's green, it's a big green park. Needs a lot more trees though.
ق. ح.
A beautiful big garden with many activities
G. D.
Great venue for the World pipe band championships
A.
Nice wee park, shame about the winter gardens
K. M.
Attended TRNSMT festival at Glasgow Green and it was a fantastic space to hold a festival as it’s not as sprawling as T in the Park so it’s easier to find your mates when you lose them 🤣 We entered through the impressive old world stone archway which is beautiful. Miraculous the festival was mud free all weekends which was a nice surprise as rain was predicted but did not materialise. The food selection was amazing and the queues for drinks weren’t too bad at all. Perfect!
j. w.
Best park in glasgow Glasgow council should hang their heads in shame they have allowed the winter gardens to become the state it is while the locals have to put up with numerous events that causes huge disruption while they take the money and do nothing for local residents
L. B.
Lovely relaxing place to visit
I. L.
Great setting for the AUOB march and demo.
A. A.
Lovely place to get lots of exercise in!

Park is great, I enjoyed it, deducting a star because of the weather. Would love to see some sun next time. Please take my feedback into account and try to get some sun out!

A lovely large space that's lovely for a day out. There's places to sit where you can eat your lunch and enjoy the sights and the nature, I've even had squirrels eat peanuts from my hands.
There are events on throughout the year, and the people's palace and winter gardens too.

Over the years I grew fond of Glasgow Green. While I still think it's not the most amazing place in Glasgow, it's perfect for a walk, picnic, chill in general.

Large, lots of grass, water adjacent. What’s not to like.

Great park. loads of free space. seated areas, football pitches and a mini outdoor gym. Plenty of green areas and private secluded enclosed areas and very clean and part of the west highland way route. Also a good place for people who enjoy rowing boats. And genral outdoor sports. It also has a hockey stadium ans very close to the city centre and barrowlands market. Great ice cream parlour situated on the nearby salt market amongst other shops and bars.

A big open green space, with lots walking opportunities and children play areas. Attached football pitches also offer additional entertainment at weekends! The park has a long radical history worth checking out and used to be the gathering place for May Day celebrations. It also has the People's Palace a museum of Glasgow's people and it's fighting spirit!!

It's okay to go to but mainly I don't go because 15-21 year olds ruin it by drinking, smoking and even just being loud and annoying most of the time which does take away from the experience. I'd think if they weren't there a lot or at all then it would be so much greater. I've been in the evening and it wasn't anything good but maybe around 5-10am it's really nice and when it's on a school day and no ones there it's even better but the older generation do go there a lot but don't worry I think winter will deal with them and if not them Covid will :D

Glasgow Green is a wonderful place to gather with people. It's a sprawling park that provides space for everyone to relax and engage in some light sporting activity. There's a lot of open space and then trees dotted around so you could choose to sunbathe or relax underneath the shade of the trees. There are also some shops a few minutes' walk fr the pack incase you'd like to grab snacks and drinks while in the park. I gave it four stars because I don't think there are enough trash bins in the park, and I'm not sure if there's a toilet.

Really lovely open space, dog friendly and litter free, lovely to walk by the Clyde of an evening.

An oasis of beauty in the heart of Glasgow. Beautiful walks. People's Palace. Visiting Glasgow, go to the vast Glasgow Green.

A very well kept park with a nice little playpark for kids. There aren't any nature walks and you do always feel like you're in the city but it's good for a walk or picnic

This park is great :) a nice get away area from the stresses of city life it offers the freedom to move and its also great for dog walking. My only irk is alot of it is just grass, I mean a little patch of flowers or something different would be lovely :)

I love this park! There's a few play parks for kids, has the People's Palace and Winter Garden and is extensive, along the river. It also hosts many events through the year, has a boating club and is well maintained by the park staff. Whatever the weather, the park is a pleasant place to walk through and there is a feeling the whole city comes out to breath and relax when the sun comes out.

Always have agreat time here but it is expensive for food, ice cream and drinks it was £2 for a small bottle of water and £2 each for a small tub of ice cream if you take your own supplies you'll have a fantastic time with or without the kids. There's also football pitch where there's always someone willing to play and the park is massive and has lovely old buildings and garden centre

Great green open place. Good for walking, biking, picnicking (weather permitting). You can rent bicycles or there is adjoining pitches if you and your friends want to rent them out. Theres a great kids playpark very well built with large wooden surrounds (so the kids can't escape) plenty of benches for the adults or carers to keep a good supervision on the kids as they play. Overall a good place to clear the head whether walking the dog or just strolling along by the riverside yourself or with company. Enjoy it.

A very pleasant open green space. It is great for walks/jogging/cycling. There is a large childrens play park.

Great for walking dogs, picnics or just to let the kids play in the park! Its also has The Peoples Palace nearby. Behind the park is a kiddie car bit and it seems really fun, some people just ride their bikes through it because its like a bike course. Great fun.

I was a baggage bus driver for the Great Scotland Run 2019 and I loved the park its a huge beautiful area perfect for a family day out or a quiet walk or even for your dogs to run around for a while. Love the place and definitely going back again and again
M. A.
Overall its a nice park, though its small and there really isn't much except from a small play park for kids and occasionally ab ice cream van other that that I would say its only good for taking walks or walking a dog
M. D.
Glasgow Green is wonderful for all the family. Even the dog! If you have time walk along the Riverside. Otherwise, just enjoy a wander. Once places open up have tea in the Peoples Palace.
K. G.
Great place for kids and adults. Fantastic play area, plenty of grass areas to sit, play, exercise the dog. Very clean and tidy. People's Palace has some fantastic exhibits and the café isn't too bad iether.
P. '.
Stunning! Peaceful, such a green grass, tons of seagulls flying around. Not far from the city centre at all!
J. O.
A space to picnic and have the kids enjoy a run or the play park with you. The towering slides are not for the faint hearted. And the karts offer endless hours of fun for the whole family.
M. D.
What a great place for a walk the only bad thing is the amount of dog poo. Please pick up your dogs poo.

Beautiful park within the city. A nice scape from the street noise and all the construction sites. There's a beautiful winter garden to visit but it was closed due to covid, so next time.

Lovely place to be with locals enjoying their city

So many things to do and all in one park. Huge green area and walking area for picnics, cycling, walking, resting or studying. 3 playgrounds with different themes. 2 of them with sand! Indoor gardens when the weather is not that great and a cafe. Plus there is a museum and a beautiful fountain!
S. g.
Park amusements are good, children look like they are enjoying the outdoors. Visitors from all walks of life here. One wee spoiler (bad language an abusive behaviour from one small individual) towards other persons/visitors.
