P. B.The best place to stay on the West Highland Way. Thank you to all the staff who are veterans of walking the West Highland Way. Your experience and advice was invaluable to us. If you are going to walk 100 miles in the Scottish rain then stay here on your first night. Very luxurious and friendly. Great value too. And free advice shared by a man who knows the West Highland Way better than anyone.

An American girl visiting family in Glasgow. I didn't want to stay in the city centre. Too much noise and pollution for my liking. But 20 minutes drive from the city centre I found a little piece of heaven in the form of this hotel. I was originally only going to stay for night, but ended up staying for three nights. I can honestly say I have never slept so well in my life. During the day i was able to walk along the West Highland Way and visit the local pub. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who made me feel very welcome and treated me like a VIP. Both my bedroom and bathroom were absolutely beautiful.
B. M.Perfect accommodation and car parking if you are walking the West Highland Way. You can stay in either hotel rooms or on the campsite. Breakfast is included. Evening meals are also available. Best of all, you can leave your car here whilst you do the West Highland Way.
J. M.If you are walking the West Highland Way then this is the best place to stay on Day 1. Within easy reach of Milngavie and Drymen. I am walking the way over 7 days and plan to come back here at the end of my pilgrimage. Very luxurious place to stay and half the price of other accommodations that I have booked. Way superior to anything else that I have found. Very welcoming and friendly staff all of whom know the West Highland Way like the back of their hand and who are more than happy to share their experiences of the West Highland Way with you. Very luxurious hotel. Read other reviews about it. You will not be disappointed.
A. B.Parked my car here and camped. Very beautiful location. Very safe and comfortable campsite for solo female walking the West Highland Way. Wonderful and generous staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Even gave me my own Safari tent with double bed which meant that I didn't have to unpack my own!!! Would definitely recommend.
