Reviews of Whitecraigs
m. m.A surprisingly pleasant wee station for such a far-out suburb (Although it mainly serves Rouken Glen Park). The northbound platform is accessible and has an ornate old waiting shelter (which was unfortunately closed when I was there). There's also a canopy to sit under if it's raining. Machine only accepted cards and the ticket office was shut which was mildly annoying.
There's a footbridge over to the southbound platform which is handy, but that platform is not wheelchair accessible so be aware of that. Only a small waiting shelter on that side too, but the station is only 2 stops from the end of the line so unless you're going to Neilston you won't be using it.
Overall, a nice little station with decent service that does the job.
P. R.If you live near the golf course and have a train to catch, this is THE place to go. Every 30 mins or so a train will come to whisk you off towards Glasgow Central or Neilston. Although why anyone would want to go to Neilston is beyond me. Platform, ticket office, one of those metal stands that holds lots of copies of the Metro that nobody wants to read. What more could you ask for?

a. m.It's a train station... lots of CCTV coverage, car park and spots to store bikes and a ticket office that's open sometimes. There is also terminal to load up your smartcard.
