Recently refurbished and repaved with child friendly rubber matting and done away with the sand which is good for the shoes and socks 😁

Not much to for my 5 year old niece to play with although she did love the sand. Pity all the beaters for music features are missing. Rubber surface under equipment very slippy when wet, which led to her having a fall. Probably a lot better on a dry day. ☺️

Nice clean park area with plenty of modern wooden activities for kids to have fun on. Picnic benches and seats for kids. Nice but small walk around the park good for playing hide and seek or short stroll with your dog.

Not the excellent space this was many years ago but still a worthwhile place to visit if you want to take children somewhere to play. Plenty of space to play and run around.

I'm up at the park every day or my dad is with our dogs. Not enough dog bins walking up into the park at the health centre. There was a couple if bins but been broken off and never replaced but you can find bins at the kids area not the best maybe time the council looked into it

Lovely place to go when the sun is shining. There's a bit of construction going on across the road from the park but it's still a beautiful place

Not as good as it was in my youth, Putting green, Table tennis and trampolines all done away with along with the greenhouses and pets corner. Just another cut back from the greed of the local council.

Woodhead Park is situated next to Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre. It has a children's' play area and footpath. Used for short cross country course by local schools.

I was actually at the swimming pool not the park. The swimming facilities are good and staff very welcoming. It is a lovely pool to swim in and water very clear
