Reviews of Crickley Hill Country Park
K. D.
This was a delightful place to go on morning out! There are many walking trails to choose from, all of which have the gorgeous views of Gloucestershire! It is a perfect place to sit back and reflect. My partner and cousin loved to climb the trees there. There is also a lovely cute cafe, with a nice selection of ice creams! There is a fair amount of parking and costs £2 for the day, which I think is fair, as the entry to the park is free. All in all, definitely worth five out of five stars!
K. S.
Great views. Definitely come here to check out the sunset. Pictures do not do it justice! £2 for whole day parking. Make sure to climb the slight hill to se the gorgeous views.
L. N.
The best views in the area! Good parking (£2 for the full day), great Caffè with facilities and visitors' centre. Several walking paths available around the area. Perfect for dog walking but some areas limited to on-lead only.
n. b.
Some great walks, plenty of variety from woodland to rocky outcrops and flats paths and some steep climbs. Easy to park and only £2. Nice little cafe - all in its great for exploring with the dogs and the kids.
G.
Moody skies over Crickley Hill today! Not that the weather stopped us from having an ice cream at the cafe!😂😂
We love it here as a family and walk here regularly.
We happened upon a leaflet for Wilder Glos on today’s travels, and have just joined up! Always worth popping into the Visitor Centre and seeing what Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust are up to locally!
M. F.
Nice place to walk with family and dog. Beautiful panorama of Gloucester. Small cafe with a few tables with umbrellas.
r. k.
Beautiful arial view point! It was not crowded on both of our visits. Plenty of parking and clean bathrooms. Windy and cold on most occasions. But beautiful view! Worth a visit! Try visiting during sunset
D. M.
Lovely place for a long walk/explore with the dog. Decent amount of car parking & a small cafe which is useful to have nearby. Various different routes you can take & lots of wildlife to spot!
N. B.
Such a cute little country park with great views and only £2 parking! Great place to come for a nice scenic walk.
J. B.
Amazing views for a walk and lots of space. Parking was ample when we went on a weekday morning outside of the school holidays and our dog loved it too. We stopped off for a picnic and even ventured into the nearby fields just outside of the Country Park so our dog could have a proper run around. Only complaint was a map saying which areas are suitable for dogs to be off-lead would be useful (if there are any) we kept him on throughout to be on the safe side.
M. M.
It's a wonderful place, although not as unspoilt as it once was. To me, it seems over managed but then I know little of managing woodland, I just loved it more when there was no cafe and less areas fenced off.
The big issue is the useless parking system installed. Cameras to catch you going in but then so many times the pay meters don't work. If you don't have your phone on you to go through the initial lengthy set up then you're in trouble. They really need to look at this, so many people are getting upset from fines by no fault of their own.
D. S.
Plenty of parking early on a Sunday, plus only £2 to park all day. Loads of lovely walks, and great views across Cheltenham, Gloucester, Barnwood and beyond.
D.
Absolutely stunning views from Crickley Park. With the right pair of shoes and appropriate clothing, this park will keep you entertained all day. Lots of information is available which describes all of the different features of the park. There’s plenty of parking and a shop for snacks and ice cream. The views are beautiful and there is a big path to walk along.
E. H.
This is for people who don't like to or can't walk long distances but still want to see the countryside and hilltop views. You can drive to the top, where you find a car park, cafe and several viewing points all next to each other and fully accessible. Get out and immediately see three counties and then explore only as far as you want to go. Also, check out the information hut near the cafe; you can read up on all the local nature and history.
T. q.
We went on the Crickley Hill Walk (red dotted line in photo) as it was a bit more shady and it took about an hour and a bit with a little lunch break in the middle. It was great as there were some benches along the way to have our lunch. The views were amazing and all for the cost parking the car. We will definitely be going again before we lose the good weather.
a.
Lovely place to head and go for a walk, anywhere from 20 mins to 2 hours. Nice cafe but also spots to sit and have a picnic with really lovely views! Parking is £2 for all day so worth spending a few hours there!
G. C.
Crickley Hill offers some nice walks in the woods or in the open space. There are some good views looking over Cheltenham and Gloucester. You do have to pay for parking at the machine in the car park. There is also a cafe and toilets.
s. s.
Paths everywhere but poorly marked. We just ended up roaming, not knowing if we were on a circular walk or not which was disappointing.
Cafe food was nice but need to sort out stink of sewerage.
Parking machine weird, couldn't use coins, like slot had been glued?
P. C.
A welcome change from walking on Leckhampton Hill. Jaw dropping views to the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains, Malvern Hills and Gloucester. The parking is paid and there is a good cafe with hot drinks, sandwiches and ice cream as well as toilets. A lovely spot to spent a few hours in the great outdoors.
H. M.
Beautiful place, some parts you can let the dogs off to run other parts they have to be on a lead. This didn't stop our fun, we explored the whole hill, views are amazing and the woods are stunning and well worth looking for hidden little treasures of nature. Parking is only £3 all day but you can park for less if you're not staying that long. The cafe is excellent, the food is delicious, nicely cooked and tasty. The staff there were so helpful and went beyond their call of duty, I couldn't fault them and will definitely go back one day. They also have toilets here, dog hooks and water bowl.
Y. T.
Great outdoors walk for family walk, picnic and kite flying on windy day. Awesome views and beautiful wild flowers in the summer. Lovely apple tree to pick from with the kids. Definitely coming back in winter and autumn. Parking is reasonable price and is on two levels.
D.
Beautiful hill with a great view of the surrounding Cotswolds area. If you're up for a longer walk this might not be the place for you since most trails end after half an hour of exploring. However, there's a nice variety of paths you can choose from. I recommend taking a look at the Beech forest reserve. If you're here by car remember that there's a parking fee of £2 per 2 - 3 hrs.
D. T.
Nice park to visit for the views and hikes.
We did the red trail while took us along the boarder of the park. We got to see lots of different views of the surrounding towns and some wild life too. There is a good amount of parking but it gets busy so come early.
They have a little cafe where you can get a quick snack.
M. E.
If you arrive at the little car park and it's full, don't make the mistake we made and drive off again - there's another bigger one just below. We then took off on a fabulous two hour circular walk through butterfly-rich slopes of meadow flowers and stunning views. Ice creams at the café followed the 'Precipitous' theme. A brilliant afternoon!
H. F.
Lovely park area with lots of routes to walk and a nice cafe and information centre. Some of the routes are very steep and there only seemed to be one central place showing a map so can be difficult to find a trail to follow. Visit the cafe first and you should be OK!
N. V.
Such a perfect vantage point (near Crickley Hill Car Park)! Recommend visiting for the sunset, it's beautiful. Wish the park would stay open slightly longer for cars, especially during summer months (it closes at 21:30 - you can still walk - sunset was at 21:30).
P. U.
Really beautiful place. I believe that land is owned by the National Trust but the Gloucestershire wildlife trust runs it. This means that if you are a National Trust member you need to pay for parking (it's not a hudge amount ~ up to 2 hrs a £1). There is plenty of parking spaces here. The views are really lovely. There are facilities here and a great shop (I brought some maps of the area). Staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend and go back again.
T. P.
Great site rich in history and biodiversity. Plenty of interesting things to discover about the site once you arrive. A shame about the parking charge (£2 all day - ANPR cameras so once you enter the car park you are liable to pay otherwise face a minimum £60 penalty from horrible company Minster Baywatch). There is a café there managed by Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust.
D. B.
Plenty of Parking with cafe serving locally sourced food with profits going back to the Wildlife Trust who manage this area. The Cotswold Way Path passes through making a good stop for lunch or drinks. Plenty of short walks and places to explore for children.
L.
Lovely place with amazing views, all day parking just £2. There is a toilet and a coffee shop (we've had the best cake I've had in a while - pear, cranberry & toffee)
V. P.
Lovely walk, after having a coffee and toasty at the café first. Fabulous views, too!!
V. T.
Nice views. Excellent walks.
R. W.
Beautiful, stunning scenery and walks. Great parking only £2 per day and good cafe.
Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
N. S.
Great views and a lovely circular walk, followed by a massive ice cream. Car park only £2 for the day.
L. G.
Nice place for short walk and great views. National Trust but everyone has to pay parking of £1 to £3. The area is not that big so I had to walk well beyond the park to do an hour's walk. I also saw far more wildlife beyond the park borders than within. Saw a small herd of deer who would avoid dog walkers etc in the park.
N. P.
Had a wonderful morning here with my rescue greyhound as w We’re celebrating his 4th year of becoming our special boy. Parking is good and very reasonably priced and despite being disabled was able to use my rotator on the pathway and watch Parker do several laps up and down of the downs. We then recovered with a delicious mil Shake and vegan sausage sandwich and treated. Parker to a doggy ice cream, a new experience for him and brought honey squirrel biscu To take home. What an incredible place.
A. M.
Such a dramatic view of the Severn Valley looking towards the Malvern hills from the top. You can choose many varied walks around the park depending on severity to experience the panoramic views of Gloucestershire and beyond. A good day out and you can finish off with refreshments at the cafe.
L. N.
Beautiful views and very well maintained.
Clean bathrooms.
Parking was £2.40 for the whole day.
P. M.
Awww Great place to start any walk from with FANTASTIC VIEWS,and Cafe,we had a Delicious Icecream, and I information shop
T. J.
Beautiful far reaching views. Lovely cafe with picnic tables. Good toilet facilities. Nice walks.
A. F.
Fantastic views and loads of walks. Will definitely re vist manybtime
S. J.
Excellent cafe and visitor facilities. Great beach woods and marvellous views.
T. J. B.
Used to come here as a kid. Went up here with the girlfriend to show her the amazing views. Nice little cafe and visitor centre, plenty of (paid) parking.
M. S.
Absolutely beautiful views and fantastic walking perfect for an evening walk with your dog.
K. N.
What amazing views, easy to fi d and Park, clean loos and good cafe
R. E.
Always pleasant for a stroll or longer circuit walk. And you meet interesting people - if you want to! Good small cafe/restaurant.
They also have a Tramper (all-terrain) mobility scooter available to hire - but book a few days + in advance.
P.
Fantastic little walk with some beautiful views, will definitely be returning.
J. H.
WATCH OUT FOR THE CAR PARKING PENALTY CHARGE!!!
I love Crickley Hill - it's beautiful here and the walking is lovely. Cafe is great. Parking is tricky at busy times, as not massive for the amount of visitors they clearly have. Word of warning to make sure you double check your parking has gone through properly on the app though. Signal is low and I've just been served with a £60 charge for not checking my £2 parking fee had gone through. Pretty disgraceful and shameful that the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust are using such a thieving parking management company and it will really make me think twice about visiting in future.
C. C.
Lovely walk and fantastic views. The only downside is trying to find change for the car park.
P. F.
Great walk around here with my family.
Certainly would recommend it.
C. F.
Stunning views, lovely walks and good coffee and Ice cream.
P. H.
A lovely place to walk. Great views, good parking, picnic areas and a cafe.
A.
This is a great park.cafe and toilets and information centre. Parking is £2.50 for the day, pay by card. Bring a dog, a picnic the kids. Special disabled parking area. The walks can be difficult if you have little kids or issues with walking, but you can stay close to the car and picnic grass.
J. S.
First time exploring this place, lots of lovely areas to discover - woods, pasture, open fields, plenty for the dogs to snuffle at and explore, and we were lucky enough to see deer racing across the fields in front of us - a bargain for £2 all day parking, and a lovely coffee shop and clean toilets too!
R. B.
Facilities limited but worth the£2 parking charge just for the view from the ridge out to the west
M. D.
Great for dog walks lots of trails, fantastic views.
S.
Always a pleasure to visit Crickly Hill and had a lovely coffee and Bacon sandwich, well worth it.
P. W.
Beautiful spot for a walk or picnic, I come here often.
J. S.
Great view and starting place for walks. Just watch out for the sneaky CCTV cameras opposite the cafe at entrance. You might think it is OK just to drop off for a few minutes without paying for car park but the camera says No, and then sends you a penalty notice in the post the week after.
A. B.
Incredible nature reserve in the most beautiful part of the world. Great views also of Cheltenham, Gloucester, the Malverns and beyond. A fabulous place to take a family or partner. A lovely place for a date.
f. l.
Lovely place to visit when the weather's nice, views for miles ,great parking and cheap, fantastic cafe and toilets very lovely staff and welcoming, visited on the worse days weather rain cold and wind, will go back in better weather, lovely hot soup and food to finish visit off
L. v. S.
View was fantastic, wanted to have a picnic but unfortunately the gates closed at 6
Maybe next time
J. H.
Enjoyed views, great weather today
B. R.
Only had a quick stop for a spot of lunch but the views are truly lovely. The cafe was open so we were able to get drinks and an ice cream. It's on the list to go back as some of the trails look amazing.
M. U.
Great place for a weekend. Beautiful views.
P. N.
Lovely big walk could go for miles! Great coffee stop and doggey friendly but limited parking
J. K.
A beautiful spot for a walk, with panoramic views towards Gloucester and beyond. Well served by a cafe, public wc and visitor centre. You need to arrive early though as parking is limited and it's a popular spot.
W. J.
Lovely walks, and a most beautiful viewpoint
C. R.
Nice place to go to blow away the cobwebs. Great views, good walks, small amenities and a little cafe. You do have to pay for car parking and if your paying by card the machine takes a while.
U. L.
Beautiful 360 views of the Cotswolds. Good for walking, picnics. Great for dogs. Visited 31 May 2021, cafe was not open but there was a pop up for drinks and light snacks.
J. B.
Magnificent views, great parking but trails very difficult to follow. Would be happy to pay a bit more for parking if it meant trails could be better signed. Still very well worth a visit
I. F.
Even when fog blocks the views, the beautiful beeches in autumn colours make for a great Sunday walk with the family.
D. D.
We loved it and it was easy to find off the M5. Lovely clean wc's and coffee and ice cream was good. Great for dogs and children. Only downside, not loads of parking and it is very popular.
K. W.
Went there on Saturday morning for the first time ever, and the views from there were amazing, great for taking the dogs out for a walk, and good for spotting wildlife. Views over to the malvern hills with Cheltenham on one side of the view and Gloucester to the other, get there early though to get a parking place as its very popular.
R. C.
Really nice walk cafe is nice reason it's not s 5 is cause the car parking machine is out forcing you to use an app that puts an extra charge on it! It's not a lot but it's not the point!
And the cafe doesn't take cash
m.
Beautiful view, quiet. Great place for chill
c. b.
Lovely place for a family walk. Some great views and lots of space for the kids to explore.
P. C.
Nice trail; lots of wooded tails, moderate difficulty but it was raining so the trail was slippery especially on the steep parts; lovely belted Galloway cattle; there to compliment conservation efforts and great views. Super clean toilets and a little cafeteria and shop; one of the staff had a lovely smile and welcoming the other member of staff couldn't even crack a smile and made you feel like your an inconvenience; could of been having a bad day or just can't stand the job; either way perhaps hospitality just not their thing, so that's the reason for the 3 stars
M.
Crickley Hill has absolutely breathtaking views of the Cotswolds. There are plenty of walks to choose from and even buggy-friendly areas. Has a wonderful cafe well worth visiting!
N. M.
Cafe is a nice welcoming place. Couldn't resist an ice cream! And they do warming soup. Just what was needed on a raw winter's day.
C. G.
A fabulous spot for walking with views in all directions. A little cafe on site run by the Wildlife Trust with tasty and reasonably priced ice cream hot drinks and snacks.
P. E.
Briefly visited on Saturday afternoon, beautiful views, snacks and drinks from cafe. My daughter had the best chocolate brownie of her life!, my apricot flepjack was excellent. Made the day of visiting Cotswolds. Will definitely come back for longer visit.
N. B.
Lovely area, great parking and you can pay in the cafe if any problem with equipment which I have never experienced. Great views and dog friendly. Perfect for small children as lots of circular walks. Cafe nice too but small with good outdoor seating.
S. M.
A very nice treck or for a nice picnic/bbq
Cafe and toilet facilities also available
T. R.
Beautiful little woodland area. Great for a windy walk with the dog.
I. B.
Lovely place with stunning views and great walking. Also good cafe and toilet. Some reviews complain about parking charge and machines not working but we didn’t find any problem and £2 for two hours not expensive.
N. P.
Found this place in a book called "Dog walks near the motorway".
On a trip from Yorkshire to Cornwall this is just off the M5 and ideal to stretch the dogs legs (and ours)
Brilliant.
Car park, cafe, clean managed toilets. Rolling hills and some woodland you could spend a day here and enjoy the walks and view, let alone a quick stop. Why on earth would would you stop at motorway services!!
D. B.
Spectacular views!
M.
Excellent views across the Severn Valley to Wales and the Malvern Hills.
A. B.
Gorgeous hill with lovely views of the Severn Vale and beyond to the Malvern Hills. Great for any type of walking, including dogs. The Cotswold Way passes through Crickey Hill, so you can easily head North towards Leckhampton Hill or South towards Birdlip and beyond.
Parking is pay and display £1 per hr, £2 for 3 hrs, or £3 all day. Card or cash payments are accepted. Car park gates closed at 6pm when we were there in December. There's a good website with plenty more info too. Enjoy!
W. S.
Absolutely love it here! Fantastic place for walking the dogs, lots of poo bins and signs are clearly visible when they can be off the lead. Just make sure you do not stay longer than you have paid for otherwise you will be heavily fined. Will definitely be back.
P. C.
Stunning views. Good parking and the café is doing limited take-away. Nice walks. Good meeting place, not far off the M5 at J11A.
R. M.
Lovely scenic route for a walk. Can get busy at peek times. Ample parking spaces available. Cafe and toilet facilities available.
D. P.
Very good for dog walking - short circular walks available or a good hike along the Cotswold Way
B. H.
Best Cappuccino from a country park and such a great walk
F. H.
Wonderful views, nice walks, well made footpaths, nice coffee. Bottom car park available but the pay machine was out of order.
D.
Nice place to stroll and suck up the views!
D. M.
Great place to walk. Nice cafe. £2 per day parking charge
A. F.
Beautiful spot which is easy to get to and has lots of parking. It has great views across Cheltenham and beyond and great links with the Cotswold way!
D. L.
Chilled out place to walk with a great cafe
S. W.
Love this place for walks with beautiful views and you can choose a variety of routes. The little cafe was nice with a decent amount of outdoor seating and toilet facilities were clean.
D. H.
Amazing views and walks. Parking is not free. Nice cafe at the top car park
D. B.
Beautiful and clean toilets and fabulous cafe.easy parking. Although don't forget to pay because there's a hidden camera and, we got fined a couple of years ago.
N. g.
Crickley hill is a wonderful place to walk dogs but it appears come march time in most areas dogs have to be on leads and no ball play allowed. This is very disappointing! I understand birds are nesting but there does not appear to be any restrictions for children playing ball games or runners going across the areas birds will nest. Once again dog owners are singled out. Having nestings boxes in my garden and being a long wildlife member I feel unfairly treated. Dogs have rights too! My dog was badly abused by people and he isn't interested in any other animal just likes to walk off the lead by my side. Where is the harm in that?
If dog owners are to be restricted then this should be clear on the website and mentioned when renewing annual parking permits. To say I'm upset would be an understatement. It is dog owners who often pick up the litter left behind by children and others. We dog walkers do more good than harm!
M. D.
Lovely part of area, always a favourite place to walk with the dogs. Beautiful in any season.
J. M.
Nice setting and lovely walks, downside is you have to pay for parking and it can be jam packed on busier days!
R. G.
Beautiful parkland area with well marked paths and a great little café doing delicious food and snacks.
i. d.
A few paths were unpassable due to limbs of trees across pathways. Another closed off for adders breeding season. But the rest of the walk was as beautiful.
J. G.
Lovely stop over stop on drives down to the south west!
J. L.
Great views across the county with a bit of bronze age history thrown in. Good for a walk with various longer distance paths passing through the area. There is ample car parking and a small café with both indoor and outdoor seating plus an information kiosk that can provide you with details about the park.
G. S.
Beautiful scenery good walks
C. D.
Been coming here for the last 15 years with family . I now regularly come with my fiancé and hope to bring my children here in the future. A beautiful place to get away from the bustle of city living, activities in the summer and from the side of the car park you can see the whole of Gloucester ❤️
P. C.
Stunning views & history. Only a quick stop this time, but will be back soon!
M. M.
Definitely my favourite place on the area 🥰
K. H.
Despite the very strong wind it still delivers! 😊
C. L.
Stunning views for miles and miles. Like something out of the Hobbit.
N. R.
For stunning views then this is the place to visit. Plenty of car parking, though there is a small charge. Ideal place for either a bbq or taking the dogs for a walk. There are toilets here and a small information desk. As from the beginning of August there is now a cafe in the main building serving tea/coffee and hot food. Inside and outside seating available.
S. M.
Nice views and a kids friendly trail 🙂
A. W.
Great walking trails, lovely views from the ridge and a cosy welcoming cafe
V. C.
Such a great place to explore with the children. Beautiful views, lovely facilities, easy parking. Highly recommend Crickley Hill for a walk.
M. R.
Stunning views and walks, cheap all day parking although machine not working on day I visited, but no penalty notice arrived yet........!!!
T. G.
It's a great place to go for an afternoon stroll, and it's a very popular place for families and people to walk their dogs. There's an area with a bbq and loss of tables and benches. Plenty of parking, which is also a reasonable price (£1 for 2 hours, £2 for 4 hours, etc), and the cat park is well maintained. The view is stunning from the hill, especially around sunset. And if you stay for at least half an hour after sunset, you'll see some amazing colours streak across the sky. Make sure you have a wander into the forest, it can be quite magical and very peaceful.
M. J.
Disappointed Local.
PARKING FINE BE AWARE!!! Car parking is timed by a camera before driving into car parking area and by same camera after exiting. This means that the time on the ticket is irrelevant.
Solution, pay for actual time spent on exit.... But that removes the opportunity for extortionate fines.
Such a shame that what should be a relaxing time out in nature is blighted by technology and money grabbing. The fine is too high even with reduction. All it does is slowly erode the return visits of each and every visitor and their families who have paid fines. Eventually the coffee shop won't survive the lack of trade and the parking won't pay for itself - I wait patiently.
B. C.
Great panoramic view of the Malvern hills and somewhat more distany the Black mountains. Easy walking through both open and woodland areas. Pay and display parking with plenty of spaces. Cafe selling refreshments throughout the day.
S. D.
Fantastic views and well organised car park, with toilets in a small visitor centre, reasonable price for parking.
N. M.
Due to the nice weather the car park was full. It's such a beautiful area. The toilets were clean and plenty of seating. Although parasols would be good for shade.
m. r.
Stopped off for a dog walk on way to Gloucestershire. Car park, toilets and cafe with outside seating. Much of the walks require dogs to be kept on lead. Great views. Worth the stop
J. E.
Always have a probkwm with parking metres each of the three times I visited. Often they are faulty and you have to walk to one that works or leave your registration with cafe to avoid fine. . Not great with three small children under 5 so decided not to attend again for nature school held there
R. C.
Beautiful views. Shame the ticket machine was broken and there was no signal to do it on the app. Just had to do it when I got home.
P. W.
Bit concerned that there is no water for birds and small animals
And lots of fencing going up presumably to stop people .
walking over areas marked out for wildlife.
Great cafe.
Never see the wardens any more
Now Wildlife trust has taken over.
D.
Beautiful views, great picnic spot but not much for walks.
A. S.
Great view and lovely cafe. Car park can be tricky to navigate but overall a great venue for some good walks
B. C.
Wonderful views. Great walks all around .
J. L.
I lock and unlock the park and enjoy the view while ensuring no cars are still there. Make sure you check the closing times at the time of year because if locked in, it may take up to two hours before I can return to let you out!
H. B.
What a beautiful local walk with fantastic views over gloucester and lots of awesome history especially concerning the round houses which used to be on site with marking showing where they would have been . The woodland is particularly beautifully make you feel like you are in another world
R. S.
My kids love following the numbers on the posts. We did the red trail, the longest today and loved it.
A. P.
Fantastic country park - woods, hills, both gentle and more strenuous walking available, not to mention an iron age hill fort, a picnic & barbecue area, and a newish cafe. Only negative is that the toilets are a bit basic.
C. W.
A lovely spacious walk for family and dogs. Reasonable parking prices. Good amount of parking spaces. Ample poo bins around the area. Disappointed with the cafe, No dogs allowed!!!
E. O.
Lovely and clean. Very helpful staff. Good facilities. Beautiful veiws and forest walks. Only downside, signposting could be better particularly on premarked walks. Very confusing colour system.

Easy place to get to for a walk on the hills. Good views, great cafe. Shame cost of parking has gone up quite a bit.
D. P.
Popped in for a drink on a cold day Basic but good seating inside hot chocolate and ice cream, so many good flavours and quality make both well enjoyed Staff courteous and pleasant Did few basic dishes plus cakes( and clean and tidy) recommended for walker and Country lovers
R. C.
Plenty of parking spaces and a reasonable price. Nice cafe to warm up after a walk round one of the well signed trails. The kids love it, plenty to keep them entertained.
P. F.
Fantastic place to visit but please sort out the parking one machine not working the other not excepting cards . It would be easier if you took a ticket on the way in and paid on way out .
S. J.

Lovely place to bring my disabled mother and her friend, to sit and look at the view and have an ice cream, butI think it’s disgraceful that disabled badge holders have to pay in the car park!
