R. e.Love this place, great views. At best at high tide but also full of birds at low tide and a free set of fixed binoculars kindly supplied. Take the walk down the river to the White Hart for lunch and then stroll back.

D. L.A handy little car park. There are public loos here. Wonderful views across the Severn and pleasant walks along the banks.
At the moment, a barbaque company (Woodbutchers bbq - look them up on Facebook for opening times and availability) sets up a tent on a Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun and sells excellent food. A word of warning, they are popular and food can sell out fast.

Don't try and see the Severn bore here, the river is too wide, best Minsterworth or Overbridge.

G. H.A car park on the banks of the Severn with a public toilet block. The car park and toilets are free, quite amazing when nearby major cities are closing their conveniencea and putting up the price of parking astronomically. Views of the Severn are good and you can see the tide racing in or out or at slack water.

Newnham, a charming severnside village in West Gloucestershire made more welcoming by having FREE parking.
Situated beside the river and nearby picnic area the car park has toilets and easy access.
