Very well maintained, clean toilets. Plenty car park available. The coffee shop is currently closed. Some road closures near by. You need to bring coins to pay the parking machine. £1 per hour or £5 the whole day. Water stream is lovely for all. Some picnic benches available and wheelchair picnic benches also available. The paths are great. 30 minutes walk around is a nice one.

Love this place! It's so beautiful. There are toilets and picnic benches so would be perfect to take kids out for the day. Great little stream to play in. We took a little camping stove and had a bbq.

This is in a deep wooded valley, with easy access to picnic areas. A stream runs down the valley, which is perfect for making dams, diverting, floating stuff downstream and so on. Well maintained loos and rubbish disposal make this a practical destination as well as being very attractive. Probably best for families with small children.

Lovely place for a picnic and walk. Be aware that the parking is cash only. they do have Ringo app- but there is NO phone signal, so can't be used. Toilets there too. definitely worth a visit

Brilliant place for a day out. Walks and play in the water. Toilets are back open again. Money/change needed for the parking machine as due to the no Internet or phone signal the pay app is pretty useless.

Great picnic place for kids and dogs. Beware that there's No mobile signal so you can't pay with mobile. £5 in coins for cars for the day and NO BBQ's!! This must be a new blanket rule which is a shame as there's no fire risk. Also, no rubbish bins available which would be nice to have. So pls take rubbish home

As a family we have always used this place, my children are all adults but have taken their children there. Lovely for little ones especially now there are toilets there.

Great outdoor place to sit and relax, chill out and have a BBQ, place to run around for the kids and just generally have an enjoyable time. There are plenty of parking spaces available and there is a fantastic set of walks around so plenty to do. The kids can run around in the forest, enjoy some time playing in the streams or just playing around.

Lovely spot to visit and have a walk, with a dog if you have one. Nice lake and cafe. Parking is a bit pricey but I suppose they have the upkeep of the area to pay for.

Don't love the parking charge but the forestry are probably counting their pennies like everyone else. However it's a great spot for kids to paddle and enjoy summer.

Wenchford provides a nice picnic setting in the forest enhanced by a running stream. Sadly, a minority of people ignore forestry rules, they use barbecues inappropriately and they leave rubbish and left-over food scattered everywhere. There is no permanent cafe and toilets are only open Spring through to autumn. Mallards Pike is a much better choice
