Reviews of King George V Playing Fields

Great open space for sports and dog walkers, but the playgrounds and equipment needs a little tlc all round. There tends to be a lot of litter too.

Really like walking the dog here. It's usually fairly quiet and never too populated. The plus point for dog walking being that even if it's rainy and wet there is a footpath all the way round the periphery of the field . Also of course it has a kids playground and several excersise machines if you are feeling energetic add to that a skate park too.
Only about a 15 minute walk from where I live so that's a bonus for me. 👍

It's a decent sized park with an ok kids area and some good bike and skateboard ramps etc. Got good potential, but could do with a lot more maintenance and tlc though, as some facilities are a bit rundown, and there is a lot of rubbish and broken glass and the like littered around the place

Attended the great Northern event great family fun day and everything was free excellent staff and great event for family and friends.

Yet another of Hull's hidden precious green spaces which need to be used, let's not risk losing any of them. Does anyone know if the overgrown area, in the North Eastern corner, is now a designated wildlife space; back in the early 1990s it was the site of North Hull Adventure Playground?

Good size field. There were a few complaints about the length of the grass from people playing a game of football as it was apparently a bit long.
Nice to see the park is still there.
