A perfectly pleasant walk around the grounds with some lovely tearooms. Visiting the farm and going into the house were optional, you could purchase tickets in the gift shop.

This beautiful park is situated in Leeds on the A63 Selby road.
The main attractions are the house, which for a small fee is worth the visit.
The ornamental gardens which are great on sunny days just to sit in and have a picnic. It now has a fantastic go ape if you like a bit of adventure is worth a go, and the rare breed farm to take the kids round. It has a shop and cafe and some lovely wooded walking areas. The parking is free of which is plentiful. You can easily spend the whole day exploring this lovely park.

Had a lovely and funny day here with loads of the family. Beautiful place. No issues with other people or animals. Need more and bigger bins around the park though. Also need more signage as some family members couldn't find where we were and some of us had to go get them. Hard if you've never been before, or are not a frequent visitor.

Nice to walk around, with paved paths in areas as well as a forests area to walk around. There is also a large grassed area as well as farm animals that can be visited ( for a cost) and a cafe with little shops. Parking is free.

Excellent public park with children's playground, open spaces, running track (nearby), woodland & lakeside walks, gardens, greenhouse etc. All provided by Leeds City Council without charge. Also plenty of free parking in various places on site (though payment needed in park next to house).
Also historical house, children's farm and tree walk for which payment is required.
Cafe and gift shop available.

You must visit this park. It is beautiful. Spacious and lots of parking. The walled garden is relaxing to walk around. Plenty of seats to take in the view. Very good for mental health.

It's a really lovely place to take walks or to just go and sit down on the grass. Lots of animals in their pens you can pay to enter and see them close up.

On one of my regular visits I had a major wheelchair failure, stuck at the southern end of the park I phoned the house for help. Big thanks to the farm manager and his team who came to my rescue with a JCB and a mobility scooter to retrieve me back to my car. THANKS
