Reviews of Everards Meadows
F. N.
First impressions are good! Love the location away from the main hub of fosse park shopping precinct. Plenty of parking, paid or free after 6pm and don't forget to validate your vehicle registration. Interior decor is very industrial with copper piping accents and wood surfaces, very modern looking brewery esthetically. Outdoor seating is very good as well with heated lamps to keep warm and large pagoda style cover for those wet days. Great views as everything surrounding is at a distance. Fun space for the entire family and doggies. Highly recommend!
W.
Great place to take kids for a go on their scooters or bikes because of the nice smooth flat paths. You can grab a great coffee at jennos next to the car park before going for a walk. And it's free parking for up to 3 hours which is also a bonus. Great to go here in the summer for a picnic or play a ball/catching game on the field. Always clean and tidy. No complaints
Y. S.
I came here to do training with my guide dog puppy and meet with other puppy raisers and their puppies. They were very accepting of the dogs in the cafe. The fields are lovely with plenty of grass to exercise the dogs on or off lead. Great place to visit.
V. S.
Booked for the tour and meal it was a very interesting and informative tour even for a none drinker like me thanks to our tour guide Claire. We were all given some samples to try. We were then taken to a table where we had a super meal. Everywhere is extremely clean. Staff are all polite and helpful. Highly recommend
P. G.
Fairly good place for a pint and some food which comes with a view. Prices are a little bit expensive but with the outdoor seating and green scenery to look at that isn't a surprise. Attached to a brewery, you'll enjoy it here if you love a beer. The food selection is everything you'd expect from and up-market bar / restaurant and has something for everyone.
C.
A very nice place to go for food and good drinks. Impressed with the decor and food, and ample parking which is free (you will need to register your number plate on an iPad inside the EM restaurant/bar).
Food was delicious - halloumi with an excellent fresh salsa, followed by pie & mash, and the ‘five a day salad’ were all made with seemingly fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. That with a Coke and a beer paddle came to £41.
They offer a range of beer sampling ‘flights’ which is a great way to try the range of beers, and the shop adjoining the bar was open late (I think the same opening hours as the restaurant) allowing you to buy beers and other Everards merch. The venue is large, spacious, and was clean, and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
P. H.
My new favourite place. Walkies, horses, secret hawk (sometimes) coffee lover? we got you, no? Want an alcoholic drink instead, we got you too!! #jennos #Everards
C. F.
The location is great, the beer hall and the restaurant are great also, but the food I cannot say its quite great. We've been here first time, but I've been more impressed on the location and how clean it is than the food. We had 2 burgers (1 with halloumi and one with triple meat) and banana split on the end as a dessert. I liked more the dessert than the burger. The staff is ok and friendly. There are better locations than this one with better food.

First time visiting this morning around 0930 for breakfast.
Wasn't able to book online so I take it they were fully booked.
We just turned up and luckily there wasn't anyone in so we were offered a table.
Lovely staff, lovely setting and the full English breakfast and cappuccino was top notch.
Will definitely be coming again, highly recommended.

Really nice place to come and drink, food is pretty decent but its a shame you cant eat outside on the terrace area.. Staff are very nice and helpful
K. H.
Pub classics done well, in a nice, modern, beer hall surrounding. Good service and a nice atmosphere. Food took a while to come out (they were busy), but was hot and well cooked when it did - worth the wait!
S.
Good vegetarian and vegan options, beautiful setting, very clean, friendly staff and dog friendly 🐕 the everards meadows is a really great place for accessible walks- very wheelchair friendly 😁 …
R. B.
Big open green fields with plenty of benches and pic nic tables to either eat your own food or food bought at the cafe. On site restaurant and brewery too, lovely! Lots of paths and cycle tracks, plenty of people walking dogs and on bikes. Only thing missing is a children's playground.
P. C.
Great place for meeting friends enjoying coffee, lunch or dinner. Jennos coffee house is lovely and outdoor seating overlooking the meadows is pleasant. Do not overstay your 3 hours free parking though as fines are issued.
S. W.
This place is well worth a visit. It is very close to Fosse Park Shopping Park. (Which has a good range of shops and is located just over the road - within easy walking distance). There are excellent cycle routes and footpaths leading to the area and ample parking on site. There are also some open grassed areas / recreational spaces. There is also a high quality coffee shop on the site (Jennos), as well as a cycle shop and Everards Brewery, which offers a range of high quality food and drink options.
R. M.
fantastic place , atmosphere - decor ... pet friendly place too 😊.... I'll be back for sure :) …
J. B.
The pics are technically on the canal at the side of the meadows but for us always part of the walk. Lovely place, great coffee at Jennos and hopefully with the brewery opening we will have even more reason to keep coming back. Great place to meet up with family and friends.
H. W.
Fantastic experience. Went on Sunday 4th December around 5pm and our server was holly. She was a joy & made us feel so comfortable and she has great customer service. We will defo be returning! X
R. H.
Had great food and beer , nice atmosphere. The Duty Manager (with a beard) was most helpful and kept our evening on track. Especially thanks to him a credit to Everards .
M. J.
First visit to Everads Meadows, there wereplenty of parking spaces even though it was busy.
Jennos coffee shop was so busy so decided to visit Fosse Park which is just a short 5/10 minute walk.
There are plenty of tables to sit at amd plenty of rubbish bins.
It was dry, sunny but rather breezy and there is no shelter.
Plenty of families having picnics and there is so much space for kite flying and a paved walk.
B.
One of our regular walking spots.
Even ground paved paths for the most so wheelchair accessible,... until you get to the canals. Plentybof space for kids to cycle and run around being kids. Dog friendly. My only gripe is the parking... the overflow parking is not enough. It would also be helpful if they issue you an ticket on entry to the carpark so you know if you overstayed the 3 hour parking and have to pay the £3 charge... not used everards beer hall as the food isnt appealing to me. But we frequent Jennos which is do a nice selection of hot drinks if beer isnt your thing esp on a cold day!
L. M.
Lovely stroll through the meadows, see the horses, walk alongside the canal. Parking is free for up to 3 hours stay. Coffee shop refreshments. Right next to Fosse Park shopping centre. Some families were having picnics on the grass in the hot weather. Lots of bike riders and dog walkers. Everyone is friendly. Nice atmosphere. Social distancing is not an issue here.
R. Z.
Beautiful area for all family, off and on the main path. Also excellent for cycling with magnificent views when the sun is out. There is also a very nice coffee shop and a cycling shop with bike hire for all family. Lovely addition to Leicester nice places to visit.
d. b.
Parking a total nightmare.
Eventually got to walk the canal with the dogs.
Since my visit I have found a back entrance easier parking.
Z. C.
Staff are friendly and very accommodating. Was a great birthday brunch treat and would do it again. Love the vibe and the presentation. Thankyou ❤️
I. M.
An amazing place with superb beer and delicious food. The interior design is beautiful and the view from the outside is just mesmerising.
I can honestly say that since they opened it we have been frequent guests there.
H. E. C. E. a. i. F.
Great atmosphere, food was average. I think customer service could have been better/attentive. (Sharing Nachos, no plates, cutlery, tissues). Coleslaw dried up. Sons beef burger was best.
For a place to come and have a drink definitely recommended totally different to anywhere in Leicester.
L. C.
It has amazing view 😍, lovely friendly staff, toliets ,lots to choose from with drinks and foods.plus if you want to eat outside you got that option. And it literally not for from fosse Park shopping centre .The car park you can literally stay up to 3 hours free parking. …
N. M.
The place is very nice however it floods quite badly when it rains blocking several paths, there’s no proper drainage system.
K. G.
Nice place, decent pint, great to try the special edition beers, me dog likes it, too.
C. P.
I spend a lot of time at Everard Meadows as it's such a convenient location for meetings with clients. I do tend to book my table but can honestly say the service, food, atmosphere has always been outstanding. It's a really safe venue and by that I mean I have confidence in bringing clients and they always have a great experience also. With free onsite parking (and lots of it) it's a real win win. In fact I am sat waiting for a client as I write this!
S. G.
Very nice 1st time going since opening only had small lunch and a beer but all was good lovely setting shop next door sells all beers and other goods
T. W.
We arrived on speck. They were busy .. but lovely claire was so professional and managed to accommodate ourselves and our elderly parents. Food excellent service excellent. Thank you again. Highly recommend everards meadows.. 👍🏻👍🏻 …
R. R.
Spent an evening enjoying my husband's birthday meal. Food as always excellent. Welcoming staff and good atmosphere.
C. B.
Excellent place for food, from breakfast at 9am, booking recommended. Plenty of seats if you want a drink only.

Update July 2022
Clearly a popular family day out, with events in the meadows today for children to enjoy. The brewery had no tables available inside, but did have an outside bar and BBQ - a winning idea! We thoroughly enjoyed our loaded hot dogs. However, friends arrived at 3pm wanting burgers, but it was sold out. I wondered if that could have been better managed as clearly people still wanted food.
Initial review, about 6 months after opening
Having read reviews, I was a little nervous of what we might experience. We ate on a Friday evening, and it was OK. No catastrophes, but nothing blew us away either.
Serving staff are young and friendly and have clearly had a bit of CPD recently. Our starters arrived within minutes of ordering, but then the bar seemed to hold things up as we had finished our starters and had to ask for our drinks, which then arrived quickly.
We both had the Moving Mountain burger and it was a bit dry. I did provide this feedback to the venue. Non-meat burgers need cheese/relish/mayo - something - to make them a bit more mouth watering.
Perhaps this is a place to try again in 6 months or so, once the opening kinks have been ironed out.
S. D.
Hadn't got my drink hadn't got my choice of food. Had something else chicken burger, over cooked, but ok. Quite expensive but lovely place
A. M.
Nice walks around the medows. Restaurant busy but limited choice of meals reasonably priced. It a is basically a Everards beer outlet.
T. N.
Good chilling out place ! Rent a bike from Rutland cycles have a coffe at Jono s.
Have a meal at Everard's great day out .
N. H.
Lovely coffee shop and walk
D. D.
First visit today, thoroughly enjoyed it. Jennos cafe very good. Everards shop excellent.
S. L.
Lovely place for a short stroll, that joins onto the Great Central Way into Leicester if you wish to extend your walk. Jenno's coffee shop is located next to the car park and is excellent, looking forward to exploring the new Everards brewery once its open!
D. B.
Had an amazing tour around the brewery with Simon, very informative, loved it as it was mine and my partners first time going there since it has opened. Beautiful inside the restaurant whilst we waited for our tour to start (still need to have a meal here but have heard amazing reviews from family members) and we ended with tasting 3 of there beers. Definitely recommend!
M. M.
What a lovely place, nice open space, good for walks, nearby Everard's Craft Beer pub to quench your thirst
M.
Brilliant place I loved the atmosphere such a nice place and good service and good food
C. G.
A beautiful venue, nice country walks, river and canal. A stop at Jennos for a coffee, a bite or both
R. L.
Great Base to explore the River side and the canal also close to The Great Central way ideal for Cycling. GENNOS Coffee shop is good to. 👿 …
L. T.
Really lovely pub/ restaurant. Staff efficient at serving. Menu very restricted and some dishes very expensive ( £55 )
First course was serviced promptly but second course was very slow arriving.
I had Gammon which was very salty and you could count the chips !!
But the ambience was really good !
I d go there for a drink but not a meal.
H. S. L.
Had a lovely walk around the meadows which link to the great Central way so you could walk into Leicester if you wanted to
S. E.
Lovely location. Safe for children. Absorb the peace as you walk across the nearby fields.
M. M.
Great local facility. Good mix of formal and informal eateries, including picnic space.
A. C.
Sun was Shining and Sat on the Grass Before a Little Wander. Very Pleasant Place on a Summers Day...
Jenno's had a Slow Q and Not Very Large Shake for £4 Large. Beer Hall, Did not appeal (Sometimes You Just Want Casual Rock Up for a Drink, rather than have you booked Door Greeting)
S.
Had a lovely meal here tonight for my birthday! Great food & drinks. Our server was absolutely amazing, her name was Adriana and I honestly can say she delivered the best service I have ever received. What a credit to Everards Meadows and I hope to return soon and have Adriana serve us again, she made the evening. Just wanted to say a massive thank you for making my birthday meal so special. 🙂🙂
A. U.
Absolutely mouth watering, succulent, cooked to perfection, medium rare steak, fantastic service by everyone from waiter to bar. Will definitely be coming back to try more. The sharing bucket of wings were so good that didn't get a chance to take a pic because couldn't put them down. Definitely DEFINITELY see you again soon. 🙂 …
K. R.
Love the open space, it's ideal to take our daughter on her bike, a wonderful area.
S. B.
Was very excited to see Everards open up and the food hall, but the excitement was short lived. It’s near to impossible to book a table, online system is always booked up, can’t seem to get through over the phone and then when you do get in, the wait is so long. Good for a drink but not for food, which is a shame as the menu is actually pretty good!
P. W.
New find for me - nice place to stop off for a walk and a drink at the cafe. Great little escape from the city for a while
P.
Great place for a walk or ride. Links well with the Great Central Way.
S. G.
Loved Jenno cafes atmosphere, reminded me of cafes in rest of the European countries. I'm glad such atmosphere is being finally created where you meet like minded people who are there to chill and relax while maintaining cleanliness and politeness. Cafe staff was polite but couldn't find bins outside the cafe near the tables. Lovely menu including gf options.
a. W.
Lovely walk but no lighting and very dark in the evening now
S. B.
Lovely place to walk your dog(s) have a picnic, fly a kite, have a kick around. Everyone smiling and happy and relaxed. Jennos is a great coffee house to sit back and relax at
S. I.
Lovely oasis in a busy urban area. Walk under half a mile on the 'meadow' and the birds take over the traffic sounds. Parking for up to 2 hours is free. Most routes are wheelchair friendly although obviously not grassy areas. Grant for cycling although walkers should be aware on narrow paths. Good for picnics although Jenno's coffee shop is a delight.
S. T.
5 star haddock and chips. 5 star service. Will absolutely return.
R. G.
Excellent for walk and cycling but currently (Nov/Dec) a bit muddy due to works to install new drainage system. When this is complete hopefully the trails will be as enjoyable as during the drier months. Nevertheless, we'll worth the visit with Jennos coffee shop on hand and free parking up to 3 hours.
July 2022. Work on the ground is well advanced and the venue continues to attract an increasing number of families, dog walkers, joggers, cyclists, etc. Remember, you can hire cycles from Rutland Cycles store on the site. Jennos coffee shop is getting more popular as a meeting place.
J. T.
Love this place, i go daily every day unless flooded, onsite cafe Jennos is great and Everards and bike shop next door.
Sadly let down with people letting large dogs off lead to wander sometimes which is rude and a lot of dog poo left on the grass which i am sick of stepping in.
Great little place for a walk and a lot of fields to walk through which makes it great for kids to learn about wildlfe and insects and birds.
E. P.
Everard's Meadows RESTAURANT: went for a walk around this area & decided to stop for a bit to eat. Service was good & the food was great.
+ Lovely outdoor seating area with heaters if needed
+ Large seating area inside & out.
+ Dogs allowed in outside seating area
+ Nice & open
+ Good for families
+ Parking
- No obvious negatives
S. B.
This is a great place for a warm day! Beautiful big meadows running down to the river, coffee shop with great cakes and savouries AND the Everards Beer Hall!! Great range of beers, soft drinks and meals. Good paths around the site mean it's wheelchair accessible. Dog friendly, plenty of outdoor seating, great atmosphere and 3 hours free parking. If you haven't been your missing a treat.
P. H.
A lovely walk of 4 miles, starting at Jennos walking to pack horse bridge, then walking on the towpath to Gee lock then the bridle path to Glen Paver, then onto the Great Central way back to the Pack horse bridge and back to jennos.
D. W.
Really nice place throughout, food was really good with a good selection the staff were really good during our visit and helpful. Looks great inside with great views when sat outside, nice walk around the meadows after. The beer was nice and fresh. Can't fault it Fully recommend
L. P.
Very nice cafe and walks. However both my friend and I on 2 separate occasions were stunned to get parking fines. According to the letter ( in tiny print) the parking charges are clearly displayed at the entrance. Well..so clear that we both missed them. It's put me off going there again. Shame. I think this is a money making scam and am disappointed that Smartparking are allowed to get away with it
S. Y.
Went to Jennos to pick up a panini. Weather was lovely, warm and sunny which definitely helped us enjoy the surroundings. You really wouldn't know you were next door to Fosse Park. Lots of picnic benches to sit and eat at.
C. H.
Lovely place for a coffee, ample parking and nice views
B. C.
Lovely place to have a beer and some food . Hear the tour is good too .
R. R.
1st time visiting Everards meadows, what a beautiful getaway! A lot of thought has gone into the project and connecting the paths to Blaby and Leicester central. Kids of open spaces for the kids to run around and forestry to explore. We decided to eat at Everards, I ordered the burger kids had nachos, both spot on although the nachos were different, they were hot, spicy hot!
I can see this place getting really busy as the weather starts to improve. 100% recommended!
P. F.
Lovely place to walk with dogs.
C. P.
2 extra stars because the manager dealt with our complaint effectively. Very slow service, starters left on table over an hour, not even cleared before mains came out. Food OK but the burger was very dry. It's a brewery and the only had half the advertised beers! On the plus side, good chips, cheese dipping sauce amazing, and the beer that was there was lovely.
L. 2.
Great especially for dog walking ,and a pint with the dog allowed in.however the summer months in the evening around the river part of the meadows is not nice ,large groups of youths smoking weed and drinking then leaving the mess behind one even riding around the walk paths on a mini motorbike where families walk with kids and dogs.nice place in general but as always sometimes spoilt by the lowlife.
H. J.
Amazing atmosphere, great setting, good food, really friendly staff. Overall a fantastic experience every time I visit. Leicester needs more places like this!
A. M.
Excellent place, serving good coffee as well as beer
V. F.
The service and drinks excellent, especially the Tank ale. However, we were disappointed with our mains: the chicken burger and the Steak & Tiger Ale pie were too dry for our liking.
R.
Great place for a walk and/or have a pint and a meal in the pub.
L. W.
Lovely place. Super family meal in the brewery restaurant. Good to be able to sample the different beers before buying in the shop. Shame the weather was so awful we were unable to go for a walk as planned. Will have to return. Only thing was would have liked to see more people wearing masks, including staff!
D. J.
As a couple, we went for a coffee and it was a great set up. The restaurant is modern with plenty of space in between tables. Views from the restaurant are great - plenty of green space, big windows and amazing hight! We are now aspired to have a dinner there.
S. L.
We stopped off at Everards Meadows after visiting relatives, who live in neighbouring Braunstone. We visited the restaurant first and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Everything here is sparkling new having just recently opened. The menu is pretty extensive and the food lovely, with huge portions to suit those with a hungry appetite. They welcome dogs into the restaurant too. Our dog lied next to our table whilst we ate our food. The site as a whole is ideal for ramblers, cyclists and those with dogs. Afterwards, we explored the area adjacent to the restaurant and found a coffee shop (with a dog bar), a cycle shop plus a lovely footpath which we followed with the dog before getting back in our car to travel home. All in all, a great site which we recommend. We'll definitely drop in the next time we visit.
M. S.
This place is great, with really good cycling and walking potential.
Its clear that a lot of money, thought and effort has gone into improving the area, and the connection to the great central way is much better signed now than it was at first.
Coffee place (Jennos) is nice, but its always rammed, seemingly at every hour of the day.
d. B.
Lovely place to go for a run walk or bike ride, big enough to social distance and a great coffee shop for refreshments and snacks
M. F.
A new and exciting place to eat with a clear view of the brewery behind the bar. Quirky but otherwise good quality food and service and excellent outdoor seating all socially distanced too. Would visit again but recommend you book online first so as not to be disappointed.
H. T.
Beautiful place! Lovely view from the terrace for a coffee and/or drink. Food was delicious and all staff were really great. Inside was well spaced and safe and can't wait to go back!
S. P.
Actual Meadows fantastic walks. Brewery, did not feel very welcome. No information on the place, staff in bar not very helpful. Rutland cycling, no one spoke, again felt not welcome. Jennos cafe had coffee. Busy but friendly staff and helpful. So well done Jennos, Brewery and Rutland cycling, not impressed.
L. P.
Love it here.
Such a lovely place for either a walk, meet up, dog walk or picnic.
It's well paved, so great for elderly, small children and bikes/scooters.
Really nice cafe there aswell that is reasonably priced.
Plenty of parking.
L. P.
A really nice, casual place for good food and drink.
B. E.
After a lovely walk along the Great Central Way & Everards Meadows a tasty hot chocolate at Jenno's was a welcome treat! Lovely area for a walk, dog and child friendly.
S. S.
What a lovely place. Walked in without booking to be told we could only have drinks. Yet due to personal reasons they still let us order even though the kitchen was at capacity. Staff were extremely lovely and accommodating. Food was also a lot better than expected. Surroundings and decor was beautiful Highly recommend this place
S. B.
Great place to go for a walk and lots of parking with a cafe
B. M.
Well worth a visit we went as a party of for an early dinner, and who found that the decor and the total layout of the bar and restaurant to be first class. We only had a main course (3 out of 4) and found them to be totally enjoyable. 2 of us tried the local ales and found them to of a high standard
K. F.
Really lovely venue in wonderful surroundings. Great value for money whilst high quality food and of course drinks. Friendly and professional service.
We will be visiting again soon
A. W.
Great open space with very good eating/drinking choices. Free parking for up to 3 hours.
L. H.
Had a lovely breakfast here with my friend. Service was really good. Staff very friendly & polite. Felt safe with how it was all set up.
Definitely be going again.
N. W.
Very comfy and cosy. Beautiful interior and lovely crisp cider. I didn't eat but the food smelt absolutely amazing 🤤 …
G. F.
This place is coming along great, nice network of paths some of which are paved.
R. M.
Lovely place however they weren't accomodating at all. You must book otherwise you're at risk of not getting served any food. Claimed that they were too busy despite over 50% of the tables being empty.
We visited when it first opened, excellent then. 5⭐
J. S.
Loved walking with the dogs around the meadows and the canal. Not too crowded but watch out for bikes and threes a horse sanctuary just a short walk down the meadows. Really nice very good walk you can do a short walk or a long walk along the canal
J. D.
Took my dog here for a walk. Lovely open space. Lacking in dog bins! Only one that I saw meaning you carry it for you time there. Sadly some people have thrown their bags into surrounding hedges/bushes.
C. C.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff, good layout looking to book a tour feel sorry for the nominated driver but plenty of alcohol free drinks we'll be back soon
T. A.
Superb experience.. The staff are so welcoming and helpful.. This was our first visit and we are sure many more will follow...
A. N.
Great walk, could do with more signage to guide you round the Everards meadows route (if there is a loop). Not knowing the area we ended up venturing into Aylestone Meadows and having to double back after a couple of miles.
C. S.
Jennos coffee shop - great coffee and a great selection of cakes
D. Q.
Not the place we were hoping for.
Only been to the coffee shop and its geared up for the younger age group, not the 'oldies' like us. Their choice and that's OK but we are not rushing to go back.
A. W.
A really tasty Mac'n'cheese followed by a banana split. Hubby enjoyed the beef and ale pie. Tried the beer flight as couldn't decide so went for the 3 darker ones a liked the Old Original best. Will be booking a tour of the brewery soon.
J.
Lovely walks and lots of open spaces for picnics and socialising.
L. T.
This is a lovely area. Very nice to go for a walk or bike. There is a very nice coffee shop called jennos. The everards beer hall and shop is fantastic and then there is Rutland bikes (which I've never been in)
J. D.
Had a nice walk around the meadows. Bought a box of mixed beer from the shop which was good value. Decided not to eat in the restaurant on this occasion... 😊 Once things are back to normal it should be a good attraction. …
D. L.
Went with friends for a birthday meal. What a beautiful place, Food wonderful lovely selection
Good price. Staff were friendly and polite, excellent service. Highly recommended.
A. G.
Great vibe. We've only been for drinks so far, because you have to book in advance for food. That's on our to do list. Parking is plentiful too.
R. T.
Had the potential to be a great venue for food. Very disappointed, extremely poor service (waitress was great). Took a very long time between courses, and it was only half full. One main was cold, another came with all the trimmings that were asked to be removed. Shame, was looking forward to trying this place for the first time.
Unfortunately, won't be dining there again.
S. H.
Very smart bar/restaurant, nice place for a few drinks or meet up for a meal. Staff were very good! It will be a lovely place to sit outside when summer comes back!
M. C.
Great food and a good choice of tipple

Enjoyed walking on the planned routes, very enjoyable by the canal watched the barges go through the lock, then back to try out the coffee in the cafe. New brewery wasn't open when I visited so must go again soon.
H. M.
Lovely place to go for a walk!
As for the venue I wasn't happy with the service, being seated down and specifically told someone would be with us to give us table service.. Half an hour later I just ended up ordering on the app as nobody came over to serve us.. I had little one with me as well and he was getting really frustrated at that point, really hot and bothered and needed a drink.
As I finished ordering on the app one of the waiters was telling a customer next to me that the app doesn't always work.. so I had to make sure it had gone through at the bar. 45 minutes later we were served two drinks.. it wasn't even busy might I add so god knows what was happening.
D. M.
The Everards Beer Hall is a bit different. Light, airy and modern. A nice menu with enough choice for most. Obviously, a good range of beers and a shop on site.
A. B.
Coffee, slice of cake and a nice walk, easy life
T. D.
Great all weather walking, good field for playing and a pleasant walk down the canal can be taken, for an afternoon constitutional!
M. R.
What an amazing place 👍 We have passed this so many times when visiting Fosse Park we decided to have a look tonight on a Thursday night and so glad we did only went for a drink but loved it what a great vibe. Will definitely come back for food and drink next time. …
N. S.
Great place to walk around and get some fresh air. Clean and tidy. We've visited a lot throughout the pandemic as we used this as one of our places to get a bit of exercise.
K. P.
Amazing food and great beer. This place looks amazing and the staff are very friendly.
C. L.
Lovely area for walking. Close to the Grand Union canal. Scenic. Lots of wildlife. Access to Fosse Park for shopping and the Great Central Way for walking, jogging, cycling. Great place for dog walking
B. B.
Always a nice place to walk quite busy but 3 hours free parking is a bonus. Jennos coffee shop and Everard's beer hall are also on site for refreshments or meal.
M. W.
Lovely open area with plenty to explore and walk the dog, walk with family or take a bike ride. There's the choice of the Everard's brewery or Jenny's cafe for refreshment afterwards.
G. s.
Great place to spend some time with family after nice walk through the park. Delicious food, friendly staff, huge space inside - highly recommend
A. P.
Venue, lovely. Food, alright. Service, dreadful. I wouldn’t go again.
C. S.
A nice, tidy open site. Good cycle shop, good cafe. Good footpaths leading to fantastic bridge over the river soar and onto the Great Central Way . Brilliant for cycling and walking.
J. P.
Phenomenal food and service. Highly recommended
P. T.
Lovely place. Light and airy, great food that's not over priced. Fantastic, friendly staff, and bonus is its dog friendly 😀 …
K. A.
It's okay, drink wise yeah fantastic but the food is very mediocre. Would rather get pub grub from the local that travelling to Fosse Park
M. F.
Finally got to go after a month wait, definitely worth it, will be going again, freindly staff, fantastic food, triple stack burger and steak and ale pie, great interior and a lovely outside seating area too!
C. R.
Great food, even better beer and nice atmosphere!
Always packed so recommend booking.
100% will be returning
J. d.
Lovely place, came here for a work lunch so didn't get chance to sample the beers offered by the brewery. Will definitely be back again.
S. A.
This place looks amazing it was a shame the table service
was very poor, a long wait for the meal it was served without any cutlery, the food served was different to what was ordered. And around a hour wait before the drinks got served.
D. C.
Everards meadows..love this place new build very stylish bistro feel to it with a lovely outdoor seating area which is lit with warm twinkly lights very comfortable clean..looks like a distillery on the inside..think prices are a little high for the portion size...
S. C.
Really enjoy visiting here and seeing how the landscape grows and matures after being redeveloped. Jennos and Everards Beer Hall add to the attraction. Love the walks through the meadows and over the river and canal.
J. G.
Cofffee was fabulous! Thank you.
J. G.
Great place. Just wished they sold San Miguel
K. J.
Great place for a meal. Tables are well spaced out. Service was superb.
S. G.
Food good but far to many dogs don't want to go out for lunch and end up with someone's dog next to me especially when I left my dog at home
N. H.
Fabulous food and beer at Everard's Meadow, a bit chilly but we chose to sit outside, the heaters meant it was the perfect temperature and we could watch all the people with their lovely dogs ⭐😃 …
s. s.
Always a good place to eat and drink
C. C.
We visited Rutland cycles, we were in a motorhome, no problem parking. Husband bought a coffee from the coffee shop next door which was very busy (obviously popular)
J. R.
Great hot chocolate in cafe, very tidy , our 5 yr old has pretty much learnt to ride her bike there during the last few visits. Free parking
a. b.
What a pub this place is, very clean, the food looks and tastes amazing. Definitely one to visit again.
E. L.
What a fabulous experience right on our doorstep. A great expanse to walk your dog ,cycle, or just enjoy a coffee and snack at Jennos. You will be able to visit Everards shop resturant and beer tour soon. Then pop over to fosse park for some retail therapy .something for everyone.
G. M.
Friendly staff, good food.
j. k.
Like Everard Meadows for a canal walk, shame it's so close to a major road but once you are away from it is a lot quieter good for blackberries if you go right at the canal!
J. M.
This is one of our favourites in the area for some outdoor time: flat pathways so good for scooters or bikes for the kids, lots of routes depending on how far you want to go, and a great coffee shop at the end 👌 …
N. P.
Nice place its buzzing on a Sunday only downside is three hours parking restrictions. But overall nice.
j. “.
Good meeting place ,good food
S. A. W.
Superb walk, lovely cafe only one down side, lack of dog poo bins. Apart from that beautiful place for a walk round and a coffee.
J. P.
Really enjoyed our first visit
L. 3.
Loads of meandering paths to follow across 50 acres of meadowland. Possible to walk all the way into the city centre from here along the canal towpath. Jenno's is a nice stop for coffee with Fosse Park shops just across the road.
J. P.
Excellent service, friendly staff.
Great quality food. Not rushed with your meal
Will definitely be visiting again.
K. K.
Lovely walk created for everybody with great pub/restaurant and smart coffee house. Also a cycle shop that sell and hires.
H. P.
First visit after having coffee at Jennos. Really impressed and lovely staff in the new shop. Have booked a lunch in June which we are looking forward to.
M. F.
Finally got to go after a month wait, definitely worth it, will be going again, fantastic food, triple stack burger and a steak and ale pie, friendly staff, great interior and a large seating area outside too!
L. L.
Lovely walk with my friend through here today
S. H.
Lovely place inside. Not much variety on the menu so disappointed with that. Food average. Wouldn't go back.
D. T.
Love this place even in the rain 💛👍 …
S. P.
Nice place, not enough choice on the menu unless you're into burgers Food was OK but not enough of it! Won't be rushing back
J. C.
Well laid out and good paths for walking even in February. Cafe was disappointing although the coffee was good.
D. A.
3 stars are for the friendly staff. Sadly the steak and tiger ale pie was bone dry and the mash was lumpy as hell…very disappointing, hence only 3 stars.
D. F.
Absolutely lovely. Very popular place. Paths very good for walking, can extend over fields. Then come back and have a lovely hot chocolate. Umm.
O. E.
Lovely country walks suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Faboulous on a sunny afternoon with a lovely coffee shop. Free parking for the first two hours
K. N.
Pleasant area to relax, walk, run or cycle. Links to the local canals and grand Central way. Has been nicely developed as open park land.

Good place for a walk. Choice of short, medium & long walks. 3 hours free parking
K. F.
Lovely for a walk and the new pub is really nice. Unfortunately only drink service when I went so cant comment on food.

T. S.
Fantastic place to visit, summer or winter time.lovely staff, very welcoming. Food very good.
P. D.
A great new addition to this prefecture and beautiful scenery. However, there is a problem of littering near the River Scence. Solution, more bins are needed.
L. R.
They've dug out the side of the pavement to help with the excess rain water. One of the bridges is closed to pedestrians weekdays. Unsure when it re-opens but I just sticked to the paved area
M. H.

R. S.
This newly created open space is about 6 miles south of Leicester City centre. It is directly served by the Arriva service 50 and easily accessed from both the M69 and M1. The fields were there before, but with no public access. The creation of Everads Meadow now also gives better access to the adjascent Ratby Meadow. The joint footpath and.cycle track has also created access to the Great Central Way and Grand Union Canal towpath. This has been acheived with the building of a new bridge over the River Soar. The long gentle sloping ramps to the bridge have obviously been created with pushchairs, wheelchairs etc in mind. Another hugh plus is the building of the coffee house, which during it's first week is already proving very popular. Congratulations to all parties involed in the creation of this new public space.
D. S.
Food was great , belly pork to die for and rib eye so tasty, service wasn't as it should be kept forgetting stuff but very pleased over all just need someone to get the service right
