Good small ground to have a walk or jog and have your pets some activity as well, also has a childrens play area with swings and rides. Also nice to lay down during summer.

Great place to take kids to play and definitely great place for workout / well-being. The place is clean and quite. On the entrance you have play area for kids and open gym for adults . It's huge park for 11 acres , you also have mid size football. The walk is pleasing with greenery, it a bit of up and down walk. However througly enjoyed it. Drawback no toilet and not enough seating for people . Great place for families and time out in relaxing environment.

Nice park. We like to sometimes take our 4 year old there. There's all the usual equipment; swings, slides etc and adult exercise equipment. If you do have a small child, it's best to watch out for crazy, frantic dogs running around off a lead.

Decent park large enough for a day out with benches, plenty of open grass, and a playground. Rather small compared to other Leicester parks. It is pleasantly tucked away from the surrounding streets by trees and an iron fence. Too small for multiple spacious ongoing sports activities, and unless you very near, is redundant to Vicky and Regents Park

It is a small local park near my house. It is great for walks, jogging, good for people taking out their dogs for walks anytime, a refurbished play area for the kids, a small tennis court/pitch for teenagers and exercising equipment. I usually take my kids there if I don't want to go to the bigger parks. It serves its purpose. I love it simple because it helps quite a lot of parents who finds themselves caught up on what to do with the kids bored at home, too much TV, pc games or tablets. 👍

Kids like it here it has a good selection of play equipment for them and a great outdoor gym which they love to use. Enough space to run or ride a bike. Only downfall as with most parks nowadays is the lack of toilets meaning if you need to go you have to go home which ruins a good time a lot of the time ! It's a shame that because of the few that vàndalise public toilets or use them for things they're not meant for, that everyone else gets to suffer. Update 16/07/19 today I've realised the play area which is supposed to be for children seems to have a few dogs hanging about with owners that are with kids, and as a dog owner I understand you take your dog out along with the kids but you should also respect that not all children like dogs and your dog running around the swings could be scary for some. Who's clever idea is it not to fence in All children's play equipment.?? Western park and Abbey Park play areas are securely fenced to prevent access for dogs and that's how they should all be for the safety of everyone

The park itself is ok - great for a stroll, jog or flying a kite. The play area is also ok but since they replaced the old play park, there isn't a great deal for the smaller kids to play on. Since half the play area is now outdoor exercise equipment and it isn't fenced off, you do have to keep your children from running over to them whilst they're in use. There is also the issue of dogs now being able to run onto the play park (it used to be fenced off).

Not a very friendly park for young kids. There is gym equipment and a play park but there's quite often dirty litter and young gangs who don't make the park a very attractive place to bring youngsters. A nice looking park though...

Great to get some sun and fresh air, great place for a picnic and take the family

1 of the better parks in the area as it has a good selection of play equipment, more swings than all other local parks which is nice. Also has an outdoor gym which is in great condition compared to the awful 1 on Braunstone Park. Considering the size of Braunstone Park you'd think it would be as good as this 1, the only downfall yet again was no toilets so unless you live across the road you have to leave qhèn you need to go !
