Reviews of The Lawn Car Park
Nice open air car park. Good sized spaces. Close to the West Gate of the Castle. It is a bit hidden behind the Lawn buildings, which is probably why it was not too busy. Electric charging for two cars (Type 2) by BP Pulse. All good 😎 👍
It would be a 5 star car park, even possibly a 7 star, but for one thing! The street lights in the car park come on at the same time every day, even in bright sunshine . In other parts of Lincoln the streetlights have been turned off at night to save money.
Really good carpark with spaces available every time I go. Wheelchair accessible and within a few steps from Lincoln Castle
How do you rate a car park
Great car park that accepts motorhomes and is over the road from the Lincoln castle which in turn leads to the town. No height restrictions, a grass area for a pic nic and a kiddies play area too.
Convenient for Lincoln centre. Castle currently has one way system s need to walk round but can return through castle gardens.
Nice easily accessible car park, not too far from castle and cathedral
Perfect location for a motorhome with plenty parking. Adjacent cafe with relaxed outside eating. Easy access to the castle and cathedral.
Convenient car park for the old town but the pay meters can be temprimental. They can gobble money and don't connect to the network to take card payment.
Small but ideally located car park. Pay and display but as well as coins you can pay by card or phone. Handy for castle and cathedral
Really lovely, sweet smelling, dry wonderful car park..
Handy car park for Lincoln Old Town shops and restaurants. At present you don't need to add your vehicle registration number so easier than a lot of parking places if you've a memory as bad as mine....😁
Not to expensive and near all Lincoln's attractions
I know giving a car park 5 stars is just weird but I love the Lawns. It's a great area for chilling in up hill Lincoln
Great place to park when the main parks are full. Extra 5 minutes walk to the Bailgate area, quicker than hunting about. Well laid out.
Typical expensive Lincoln car park
Small children's play area and plenty of walking for dogs and car parking . Seems to be popular with motorhomes
Plenty of space in a secure location. Next to all the main attractions
Just a visit to local cafe before lockdown with elderly neighbour, so perfectly placed for her ,to not have to walk to far
Nice carpark but when your 6 foot 2 and paying by card the machines card readers are too low.
Great parking for medium MH easy walk to Lincoln town centre
It's just very expensive. £2 for an hour's parking is ridiculous tbh.
Convenient for Cathedral, Castle and decent restaurants if you've not been to Lincoln before.
save 20%
Good car park but I think the price for parking was quite high compared to similar cities
Plenty of spaces even on a Saturday, not badly priced
Great place to park
Great for overnight parking and public conveniences not far away.
Didn't have enough change, couldn't pay by card, machine wouldnt/ couldn't read it, I ended up downloading an app to pay, whitch could turn out to be quite useful
Close to castle and cathedral. Good take away coffee from Stokes.
It's a car park but it is in a great position for the centre of Lincoln
It's a car park. Cars are parked here. So I suppose it's doing it's job 😁
Great carpark close to the castle use it every time.
Great local car park without height restriction and tickets for upto 24hrs at fair prices.
Great car parking but can be fully booked
It's a car park , what more can I say. Would be better if it was free.
Good and spacious for bigger cars to park.
The picnic Area could do with smartening up
Close to the Cathedral and reasonable parking prices.
Decent car park, well located.
Useful if you're visiting the castle
There's no where to park my car. There's not even any land available
Close to town ideal for shopping
It's a carpark but room for motorhomes
Great big car park and reasonably priced. £9
All great
Plenty of car parking near the castle
Brilliant kids park the iplay is ace
It's a car park... It does what it says on the tin!
Conveniently placed for visiting Lincoln Castle and Cathedral.
Beautiful car park
great parking for the cathedral
Nice place to walk around.
Lots of parking /its a pay to park
Very good
In centre of the Cathedral Quarter, pay-by-phone, great. Free children's play park, Stokes' of Lincoln cafe and Charlotte House Hotel. 50 meters from Lincoln Castle, free entry!! With a host of small shops, restaurants etc as well as the 11th century Lincoln Cathedral a must see when visiting Lincoln
Great location for visiting Lincoln
Grate fun
Great place to waste an afternoon.
Car park
Good prices
Pay and display
Alright, I guess
Large carpark
Good location
Ideal for motorhome Park up
It's a car park, decent size spaces, prices are reasonable for the area and you can use the paybyphone app which is handy if you don't have enough spare change.
Not much shade for if it's a sunny day. Is right next to the rear entrance of Lincoln Castle if you're headed there. Also next to a kids playground if you need the kids to burn off the extra energy so they are tired for the car ride.
Great Central location for shopping and site seeing especially the Cathedral.
Cheap, central and in the Shadow of the Castle and a hop and a skip to the Cathedral
Really good place to park in the Cathedral quarter, plenty of green space for a picnic and a play park for the kids before heading off for a walk round some stunning architecture and quaint shops. Reasonably priced carparking for the area.
