Reviews of Sefton Park
A. C.
We spend a relaxing afternoon strolling through the park 🏞️ It was great seeing lots of families and little ones feeding the birds 🦆 ducks and Canadian geese. The grass 🌾 trees and flowers 🌻 look stunning. I imagine it takes an army of people to keep the grounds so immaculate 😍
The high light of the day was soaking up the atmosphere in The Palm🌴 House. We were greeted by one of the lovely volunteers 😊 who gave us a free Event Guide and some general information.
Later on we stopped off at the Cafe for lunch. Staff were friendly and polite. The food was great 👍 and served quite quickly. So glad we finally got around to coming to Sefton Park 🌺 A day spent around nature 🌿 is always good for the soul 💕

Really worth a visit to Sefton Park,
This magnificent 235 acre park is a Grade 1 historic park in the Sefton Park district of Liverpool. It is a Green Flag and Green Heritage awarded site with beautiful features and monuments. An angling permit is required if fishing in the boating lake.
Theirs two cafes and an ice cream kiosk and toilets in various locations.
The park is used for various activities and events including cycling/walking/ running there is also some exercise equipment fitted around the park that anyone can use, they also have a cricket pitch.
Really lovely park well worth a visit to distress and take in the scenery.
M. B.
A beautiful park, with a bird-filled lake, wide, tree-lined avenues, and a playground. The playground is in need of a bit of tlc, but the kids still love it. The palm house is lovely to visit and have a wonder around, especially in the cold. It's also great for a coffee and cake at the cafe inside, or the van outside when that's closed. The other main cafe in the park is perfect for an ice cream and you can get a bag of duck food there too (also has toilets). It's worth visiting in spring to see the huge fields of daffodils.
S. W.
Nice large park. Grassy areas for games. A nice walk through the trees and around the lake. Cafe and toilets at either end. Decent sized play area for kids with tennis courts and table tennis.
Lots of free parking around.
C. H.
The jewel in Sefton Park's crown. Don't miss this gorgeous building stuffed with exotic palms and plants, a nice cafe, friendly staff, and maybe even an afternoon or evening concert, or other activities.
The park is top drawer too!
J. J.
Such a beautiful place. Great to hang out with friends or alone.
There is a great cafe with Ice-cream or hot and cold food/ drinks.

This was only the 2nd time in years that I have visited this park. I want to add a note that the reason for my lack of visits to the park, is purely down to travelling to get there as it’s not local for me.
I’d recently changed my camera and I couldn’t think of a better place to test it, than Sefton Park, especially now we’re into Autumn (my favourite season 👍🏻)
The place seemed very well taken care of. With plenty of seating around the park, there is always the opportunity to sit off, rest your legs (if you need to) and enjoy the view.
The abundance of wildlife and the views make this a great place for families, couples, lone walkers etc. At the start or end of your walk around the park, there is a lovely coffee shop on site, prices are reasonable and coffee tastes great.
On site you can also visit the Palm House, a beautiful and elegant piece of architecture that is definitely not to be missed.

Love this park.
Love the walks , play ground , lakes , cafe! Literally the best park in the city !
T. G.
Stopped by the on the other day.
Not have much time to explore but it is really nice park around people enjoy it. Even some doing barbecue over there. Many activities on going there
I. W.
Fantastic place. It was special day in support of the Fantastic Palm House upkeep.
We had never visited here before.
The whole park is immaculately maintained.
With very large lake ,magnificent bronze
sculptures and fountain. There was live music from a group of older rockers at the band stand. Beatles numbers naturally!!
That setting is ideal as the sound is muted from the whole park but projects out to a "Grassy knoll " ( where have I heard that before).ideal for a picnic.
Tennis, Bowling clubs and model boating on the lake Sunday mornings. Throw in a Great children's play area. A perfect place to spend a few hours. Rounded off with a cuppa or endless selection of ice cream and snacks at the Cafe In The Park.
Finally unbelievably Free parking.
How soon can we get back there??.
40 mile round trip but well worth it
***** stars.
S. K.
Really gorgeous park.. ice cream & coffee shop x 2.. lovely park that is suitable for disabled children too. Tennis courts & table tennis table. Lovely wide pathways with ample benches.
K. M.
Lovely park to visit, lots of green space, grass trees and flower beds..there is also a lake running through it..I highly recommend going tobthe greenhouse at the centre of the park.
Also you might meet some lovely dogs 🐕🐕 along the way..:)
S. B.
The park was well maintained. Plenty of things to see. Fountains, walks, cafes, bandstand (however not accessible presently) , Peter Pan statue, large chess board. The palm house has been renovated and there are plenty of volunteers available to show people around and point things of interest out to you. There is no charge but they do suggest you donate a small fee. We spent between 2 to 3 hours there. Plenty of parking available. One thing I was disappointed with was the toilets they could do with some maintainence.
D.
Beautiful place. Go when there's a concert or function. This palm 🌴 is 120 years old. Nice tropical atmosphere 👌
M. R.
Love this park. It always seems to have a bohemian energy!! Beautifully well maintained and lots of variety. Great place to visit.
L. L.
Love this park. The size is amazing for a long stroll around. The playground is brilliant for all kids and slso has a wheelchair accessible swing. Walk my dog regularly here and he loves meeting the other dogs. My kids love seeing the wildlife mainly the squirrels.
Z. L.
Nice park, very open and loved the lake. Day we went there was a Pokemon trail going on, alot of people and looked well organised
M. H.
Amazing city park, great to walk in and around. You can even spend the whole day there with your family having a BBQ. Two cafes and lots of great walks and lakes and streams. Africa Oye also uses the park as its venue as well as lots of other events. World class park.
B. C.
Lovely place for an evening walk. Great views and a nice lake. Lots of walking to be done!
d. e.
Great plane to stretch your legs, relax, walk run, and see concerts, also lots, of film crews use the surrounding area,, one there at the moment, filmed called Archie,
P. C.
Wonderful park, has everything within it and is steeped in history.
Palm house, tennis courts, lake, cafe.
Beautiful properties all around it.
An added bonus is Lark Lane, just off to the side with restaurants, bars and shops. Easily spend a full day here.
D. J.
Great place for walks with my mum and dog
r.
Easy parking along Croxteth Drive and enjoy a walk discovering the ponds, lake, café, woodland trails, statues, open fields and beautiful Palm House
J. S.
My most favourite place in Liverpool for sure!!! Lots of free parking all the way around the park. Absolutely stunning in the autumn. They have two cafes, a massive lake, a waterfall, the palm house and lots of wonderful wild life. The best for dog walkers.
P. W.
Sefton Park was always on our 'to do' list but never got round to but on a visit to Liverpool we made the trip to it and it was worth it. Even though it was late in the day (late afternoon) there were still plenty of people around. This park is MASSIVE! You can drive the full circumference of it and either park on the street or in the handful of carparks dotted around.... All free! We parked not far from the very impressive lake. There was a little, quaint cafe selling refreshments. Lots of wildlife on the lake itself to sit & enjoy and just chill while the world passes you by. The Palm House is not far but unfortunately as time was getting on it was closed. Lots more places to see, Eros's Fountain, Oasis Cafe, the bandstand and probably a lot more if we had all day. All in all well worth a visit to jyst enjoy its beauty. Will be visiting again, just a lot earlier in the day. Highly recommend 👍👍👍
A. R.
Loved it.
Big, fun. Plenty of space for different activities
a. g.
Lovely park and very tidy. Not as busy in the autumn as during summer, there's a surprise, which gives it a mellow peaceful feeling. We'll worth a visit.
C. G.
There is so much to see and do here. Loads of different paths to go down and explore. There is a large play park for children, a table tennis part aswell as the main tennis courts, the palm house, 2 cafes with amazing ice cream, lots of historical statues, a massive lake where you can feed the ducks, swans and geese (food can be bought at one of the cafes) and massive fields for picnics, games of football etc. There is also some beautiful waterfalls and stepping stones to go over.
A. K.
A fantastic park with a large lake. Great for walking, running and just enjoying the outdoors. There’s a small cafe in the centre of the park as well as a small shop that also sells coffee and food at the edge of the lake near the main entrance. The Sefton Palm house is located near the centre and offers a small cafe as well as often showcasing crafts and small events.
K. S.
Nice area for a dog walk. Plenty of adjacent parking. Good mix of small woodland, open field and with many hard surfaced walks too.
M. A.
Beautiful place to visit or have a walk
P. B.
Unreal place absolutely beautiful, there is plenty of walks & things to do. Found a wee cafe that served Ice cream food which kept me out of the sun for about 40 mins wasn't too badly priced either
R. R.
Excellent option to spend some time Off on the nature or even the day with your loved ones, by yourself, make some picnic. Plenty of options. Beautiful place.
T. H.
One of the biggest city park in Liverpool. Everyone should go visit especially in earlier on spring when is park full of spring flowers. The cons I seems to be there always a lot of people what really put me off visit this park during especially the summertime.
J. N.
Sefton Park the lungs of Liverpool its an amazing place for getting fresh air into the body and releasing stress. The nature of the park there is always something of interest to photograph. Best place to go for a blow out.
K.
What a lovely place! Beautiful, big park with lots of paths, benches and playing area, ideal for long family walks, jogging, picnics, time off to recharge yourself or relax. You can enjoy the company of beautiful colourful flowers, trees, squirrels, ducks and more. The car park near by.
J.
A few years ago I used to here regularly and have recently been again.
A wonderful park with lots to do with all the family or just wandering through by yourself. The palm house is very beautiful to visit.
There's lots of different attractions on throughout the year. Lots of open space and water features, a great space for everyone.
Including the dogs they have their own ice cream at the cafe!!
The cafe has a great choice for many, oh!, and you can buy ice cream for yourselves too 🍦
Sorry the dogs aren't allowed in the Palm House and also they are not allowed through the gates leading into the palm house grounds.
S. C.
I wish I could even attempt to put into words what this place means to me.
Sefton Park holds such ridiculous high value and immense healing meaning to me that it is almost impossible to put into words.
I love this place more than I could ever begin to describe.
N. B.
Had a stroll around Sefton Park which was surprisingly pleasant given the time of year and the amount of flood water around. Lots of paths were flooded but we managed to find a route through the park. There are several areas to park for free around the border of the park. There are lots of ponds and water features to wander around and big fields which are great in summer time. There is a cafe serving snacks and coffee at one end. There’s also the restored Victorian palm house to see plus several other monuments. It’s a great park not far from the centre of Liverpool.
I. D.
Nice park, roads need redoing cos the tarmac is cracked and hard to walk on, defo saw a group of lads nicking ducks out the pond on Xmas pm, boss trees boss lakes boss nature an all tha x
M. A.
Beautiful park in the city of Liverpool.
Amazing tall trees and a lot of plants to watch and walk throughout it. I spent there about an hour with my son and i didn't got bored.
There is kids playground, lakes, and a river!!
I. W.
This park in the south if the city is fantastic. Used by families, dog walkers, joggers... a fantastic area with great walks and large areas just to sit kn the grass and have a picnic. Ducks and geese on the lake with seating to just sit in the sun and watch.... a fantastic area well worth a visit. And it doesn't cost a penny!
D.
Lovely spacious park with a lake, peaceful and pretty. Lots of friendly squirrels too.It is a large park of about 240 acres.
I. S.
Walked through on our way to a concert in the Palm House.
Lovely park, well kept and we intend to return during the day to explore further. Nice sunset too.
J. B.
We come here regular to walk the dog or to do some training. The park is beautiful and has all sorts going on with cafes and the palm house which hosts an array of events each year.
I like to run around the park the full outside loop is approx 3.7km.
S. S.
This is definitely the best park in Liverpool ( in my opinion), there is alot of space and tree areas for pets and even play areas for kids. The park is well maintained and the animals are very friendly. At times the squirrels will even eat out of your hands! I think this park is very accessible for everyone and it is often used for festivals, fair grounds, and events. I would recommend Section park to anyone who is looking for something to do in Liverpool or just to go and look around.
S. K.
A great walk through the park and around the lake. A fantastic space for festivals and events of which there are many throughout the year.
C. G.
Great place for long walks, running and having your kids and dogs all around this natural beauty !
A. W.
Love this park, it feels like an oasis.
Lots to explore and find for the little ones. Really looking forward to when the concerts are played again.
The cafe in the middle is good and has reasonable prices.
M. K.
Very nice park. Lots of space for family and play areas for kids.
A. R.
Beatiful place on a sunny day, loads of room to sit socially distant.
Green and open.
Great for pets, walks, Ice creams and a spliff!
I. “. R.
Nice walk around the park, gardens, waterways and playground and saw Green Parakeets and Squirrels! Clean, litter and dog mess free in the main! 7 miles in around 3 hours. Amazing but, kids; 10 & 13 NOT BORED!
C. H.
Fantastic atmosphere, we attended a family Wedding. It was perfect, lovely and warm in the winter. Think it may get very hot in the summer though. Brilliant food and staff
B.
A beautiful park, with plenty of space for walks, nature, playing and picnics. The Palm House is simply stunning, and a magnificent piece of Victorian design, with wonderful statues surrounding it. Whilst at Sefton Park, don't forget to visit the Fairy Glen. Be careful though, as the stepping stones can be rather slippy when wet.
G.
Massive park lots to do and see. Quite often have events on of some sort or another and so park is well used. This was a lights festival with floating buildings on the lake. They were lit up when dark and background music played and poems read out over sprakers. Also large animals and flowers were in the grounds of the palm house which also lit up. But a £7 charge per person applied to see these lit up. All bins were overflowing even before the crowds arrived. But still a great day out
R. N.
A lovely park which is just a short drive from the city centre. Plenty to do for both adults and kids, with numerous play grounds sports areas, a visit to the palm house, or walk around the lake.
Very popular place to visit in all weather, and beautiful in all four seasons. Love coming here after work to chill.
M. M.

L. M.

J. M.
Very well maintained large park in South Liverpool. Roughly 4k perimeter. Regular festivals and running events are held. There is the Victorian glass palm house which has lovely plants and sculptures. The large pond was restored a few years ago and has maintained its glory along with an abundant bird habitat. People with wheelchairs can still access most of the park. In the evenings there are no gates that close access and low level lamps light pathways. Addition info of facilities include: Two cafes. Tennis courts. Crown green bowls. Cricket centre. City cycle hires (4points). Exercise points. Lit pathways for runners which include exercise points such as pull up bars and sit ups. There are 3 or 4 free small car parks however parking is allowed and free to most of the perimeter. .
E. C.
Sefton Park is a large green space in South Liverpool. Almost a square kilometre, the park includes a well maintained mix of vast lawns, lakes, mixed forest and a selection of statues. The Palm House is worth visiting too.
The park is ideal for cyclists, runners, dog walkers, children and anyone just wanting a break from the city. The park often plays host to events like outdoor concerts.
J. T. M.
Fantastic park huge, lakes play areas tennis palm house cycle paths, absolutely huge caves the lot great day out. The events they hold are also fab make sure you keep an eye out and go.
W. L.
Spacious, well maintained public parkland with interesting features such as the Palm House, lake, obelisk, various statues, daffodil Field of Hope, fountains, playgrounds, cafes. Lots of free parking on the perimeter road. Popular location as an open-air venue for events throughout the year. Lark Lane runs off the perimeter road and features a wide variety of restaurants and bars.
J. D.
A magnificent 235 acre Grade 1 historic park. So much to see including the Eros fountain, the Palm House and lakeside views. Those could be seen on the 3Km #liverpoolwinterwalk that we did today. We did pop into the "Boathouse Kiosk", a small glass-fronted building by the lake, which serves a selection of coffees, ice creams and other small snacks, to warm our hands on a hot drink. Yes it was cold. It is well worth a visit and there's much more to see and do than I mentioned.
K. B.
A lovely peaceful public park, with central cafe and boating lake. Especially good in spring with the 'thousand daffodil woods' to visit.
N.
Large park. Lots to see. Safe since there will be lots of visitors there.
Z. N.
Large green spaces which were quiet but the play area and fountain area were packed and nobody was social distancing. Fairy glen is quite small.
E. B.
Beautiful place. Large park, loads of parking available around locality. Nice cafe. Great location for a walk or run.

S. D.
Lovely....the palm house grounds are well kept. The coffee shop was serving takeaway refreshments....nice to see lots of families enjoying the freedom....
A. C.
Great Park for all to enjoy. You can get some great photos of the palm house and a few colourful birds and if your lucky enough you may just come across a kingfisher in the right months. Plenty of squirrels to feed. Lots of green space for the dog to play and run the legs off you!
O. D. G.
Beautiful park to go at any time. Has all these different zones with different types of designs, a gorgeous lake with swans and a Victorian greenhouse full of magnificent plants
G. M.
So much green space its beautiful!! You can find yourself getting lost throughout the little footpaths that lead into the park, the ponds are beautiful and most of all the ice cream is delicious! Perfect for a summer's day stroll overall
m. v.
I really love this park. Full of wildlife and friendly people. Always clean with plenty of areas left wild. Take a walk here, you will not regret it.
b. r.
This is a great park plenty to do and see. Shame there was a wedding on in the palm house we went to have a look at this. The cafe is quite expensive so try and take your own drinks . £1.50 for a can.
S. J.
Such a nice park. Its massive. There a stretch of water on there that has fountains. Theres a kids park, tennis courts, ping pong table and a ice cream parlour. Ice cream van. There was people selling character hillium ballons. Loads of open areas. Forest bit. Loads of people walking dogs. A good few riding bikes. Seen a set of people doing yoga.
n. b.
Went to Sefton park for an Ed Sheeran show at the end of his long tour, the venue was great for concerts and there was plenty of space for the huge crowd of over 40,000 people to spead out and find a place to stand or sit. I'd see a concert again here for sure.
K. R.
Cold and icy but still brilliant.. The local parakeets are still there by the lake, freezing their feathers off.
P. H.
This is the biggest and most beautiful park in Liverpool in my opinion. Lots of history . Recommend that you go to see the fairy glen and palm house.
A. M.
Large Victoria park in the middle of Liverpool, huge palm house, statues, lakes, streams, pools, cafes, bike hire, dog walking etc. A little oasis of calm. Lovely recreational place. Well worth a visit.

Love a visit round Sefton Park. Everytime of year it looks great and it's a perfect place for a walk, jog, bike ride or meet up with friends.
J. W.
Lovely autumn walk round some of the park and water today. Too many toilets out of order unfortunately though.
M. S.
Lovely place for all the family, interesting paths, playground, coffee shop and tennis court.
J. R. (.
Been coming to this park my whole life and it's always a lovely place to come and sit with friends, walk the dog or just come for a wander to think. The park is popular with runners and people training for 5k races as there's a 5k route to jog. Two decent cafes, a lake and several big fields mean that the park is never too crowded. The palm house at the centre of the park is a wonderful place, beautiful building and you can go inside to see the tropical plants most of the time. They also host some great little markets and craft fairs there.
S. R.
Beautiful park to explore, lots of different routes to suit all abilities, café, mini coffee shop also available
C. J.
Sefton Park has it all going on, lovely for walks, boat rides and picnics in the summer days, they also have so much going on throughout the year, the food festival twice a year and also Africa Oye once a year which is free! Great way to get the community together and also welcoming neighbouring towns and cities to join in on the fun!
B. S.
Africa OYE is a yearly event to celebrate African culture and music, the event is free with live musician showcasing different sounds across Africa. Everyone is welcome both young and old, there are stalls for the sale of drinks and beers, africa clothing and artifacts, joy rides for children and families. Lovely atmosphere to behold...
M. J.
This park is gorgeous, so well looked after. Enormous fish spotted! Enjoyed seeing all the crocuses. The lantern company is currently hosting an event here 'city of light' which is pretty magical.
F. A.
A place to relax whether alone or with the family

One of the best places in Liverpool for nature and landscapes lover
P. P.
Absolutely beautiful park. Love the variety; from the exotic palm house to the open fields, there is something for anyone who loves the outdoors here. It’s pretty big too, you can easily lose yourself in its many different areas. Would also be a good place to walk your dog or go for a run/jog!
D. W. S.
I love this space I feel like I get a lung cleansed when I enter this venue.
P. B.
great place to walk and chill out with a bite to eat and a coffee at the cafe around the lake if you are lucky you may spot the parakeets
A. E.
One of the finest municipal parks in the world Sefton Park has a lovely lake, great water features, lots of open green fields for living a ball around, tennis courts, brilliant pay area and more. The cafes are slightly disappointing but don't detract from the overall experience.

Great space for outdoors and walking around. It was tricky finding a toilet thou and parking as the on-site ones were full
D. H.
Live music in several places, litter free, easy parking for an outsider to find and friendly people. Loved it!
D. F.
Lovely late afternoon walk around this park. Annoyed that the loos weren't open but the ice cream cafe was
S. L.
My favourite place ever. We had our marriage celebration at the Palm House here in 2017, it was a dream, perfect place 💜 Have attended art classes, cinema nights, festivals, artisan markets....love to just visit and have a walk round. I used to be lucky enough to live right on the park's boundary road but alas no more! Really looking forward to attending more events here post-pandemic.
S. P.
Sefton Park is lovely, lots of green spaces, a large lake you can walk around as well as tennis courts, children's play park, cafe, toilets, band stand and the beautiful palm house, which is like a giant tropical greenhouse!. Even though it gets popular when its warm, it doesn't get too over crowded. If it gets too much, the cafe sells amazing ice cream and also snacks and drinks.
S. H.
Beautiful park, great for long walks with friends/family and/or pets!
K. B.
Huge park! Planty space for relax, play, picnic or run. Needs to be more clean. Many rubbishes everywhere
C.
One of Liverpool's most beautiful parks. Well worth a walk around. There are also cafe facilities which are currently open during the COVID-19 situation.
C. E.
Beautiful park, always recommend to people visiting the area. Especially in spring when all the daffodils are in full bloom, covering the park in blankets of yellows.
Its a great place to feed the ducks, walk the dog, enjoy a picnic or grab a coffee with friends. It has wide open spaces, woodland areas, water features and of course the amazing palm house, there's something to entertain the whole family.
C. R.
Wow what a show The Australian floyd put on. Amazing light show. Seats were a bit small but great. Bar and soft drinks were a bit overpriced but expected. Loads of toilets which were very clean and stocked.
H. K.
Great park for walks scenery they have tennis court playground lots off field lake
S. B.
One of the most enchanted parks. I went there on April the weather was just too perfect that makes our stay even more enjoyable.
We started our day with breakfast in the cafe inside the park .. they offer vegetarian full breakfast. My kids had egg toast with warm milk.
After that we went to the playground the kids really enjoyed there is a really high slides and climbing parts.
Then we walked around the park beside the lake.
We were planning to visit the Palm House but it was closed for wedding ceremony but there was a kiosk so we had ice-cream.
At the end we bought duck food from a small cafe beside the lake 🥰 a lovely memorable time.
C. G.
Really lovely park. Big lake. Beautiful statues. Lots of ducks. Stunning palm house.
M. H.
Had lovely sunny few hours walking , listening to different groups playing good music , lovely Lake etc

Great park and very unique one of a kind trees, great place foer meditation and nice walk
K. M.
Sefton Park is a lovely green area suitable for everyone, including pets (on a lead). We went to the Óye Festival yesterday which was located at the Lark Lane entrance and it was fantastic. The festival itself was great but the organisation of the park was brilliant. Parking can be difficult when it's busy but it's so big there's plenty of places to get parked.
L. E.
A beautiful park and one of the main reasons we decided to live around this part of South Liverpool. Peaceful when you want it to be, lively for musical events and food / drink festivals etc., it is a brilliant public venue. It is also a very large park, and long may that continue to be the case (please don’t build on Sefton Meadows on the edge of the park !)
Strongly recommended for a lovely fresh air and out of the house type day or couple of hours out.
p. b.
Absolutely breathtaking. The staff are informative and friendly. Learned a lot and enjoyed every minute.
J. “. S.
Great to be out in the Spring sunshine seeing the Park coming back to life, after what felt like a long winter
a. t.
Great surroundings, bit of everything for everyone, either if you go for a walk, a run, a coffee and ice cream or fishing, best park in Liverpool.
A. L.
Lovely well kept park with a nice atmosphere. Once you've had a good wander round and a tasty ice cream you can head up to nearby Lark Lane, which has a bit of a hippy vibe, for some food or a drink. I like.
M. B.
Such an amazing, vibrant part of Liverpool and a wonderful park. Reminds me of the best London parks with its grandeur. Fab cafes and bars nearby on Lark Lane.
F. S.
Lovely big park with lots of places to explore with a dog. Only downside was there were no toilets open (probably due to Covid I presume)
G. H.
Very nice and relaxing park to visit popular with students and families alike the lake is a beautiful place to waste an afternoon with friends or on your own
A. H. A.

The biggest and best park in Liverpool. Wide open spaces; beautiful gardens. Good cafe etc. Brilliant!
G. S.
Lovely walk around the park today shame about the blue green algae
A. H.
This park got really busy over the long Easter weekend. Its a gorgeous park with plenty of little surprises all across it from water features to rock pools. There's also a little greenhouse in the middle where I saw this fluffy flower! Nice place!
B. R. C.
This is an absolutely gorgeous park in the heart of this residential area of Liverpool... particularly on a sunny day in the summer the place has a wonderful soul with a wonderful cross section of city people including couples, friends, families doing bbq etc. The queues for the ice cream gets pretty long on a warm summers afternoon just to illustrate the point... enjoy:)

A nice place for bird watching
You will see the Rose+ringed Parakeets and a lot of water birds. Easy to spend a few hours here
C. C.
This is a nice place for a day out. Lots of pathways to walk along with signs giving the history of the place and it started in Victorian times. Many of the old attractions are now gone, but it's still a great place to be.
K. R.
A lovely walk around a beautiful Victorian park. Plenty of Goslings and Cygnets around the lake, but lots of leaves and branches left over from the blustery weather over the past few days.
R. A.
It's a great place for people to relieve stress. You can go for a walk or go cycling or jogging. The park is so big, there's a huge field where you can play football or picnic, tennis court, kids playground etc.
M. A.
Beautiful well kept park, easy to lose a few hours walking with the dogs or reading a book, or just people watching at the cafes and coffee shops
J. O.
I joined in The Muddy Run here for charity and my impression of the park was a lovely spacious park which looks very well looked after. The cafes there looked very popular
J. Q.
One of the most beautiful parks in Liverpool. Some things I recommend to see: the Palm House, Anteros sculpture and the Fairy Glen cascade. There are also several lakes in the park, with ducks, swans and geese.
M. W.
As always. A place to relax and contemplate.
K. D.
A lovely place to spend your' free afternoon. Excellent for people with dogs and kids.

Lots of grass, both on the floor and being smoked. Great place for a walk, also has trees 🌳
Ideal place for taking dogs, kids, bikes and balls. Picnic at your will.
J. G.
A great park with lots of paths and walkways with ever changing scenary as you stroll around. Lakes and bridges, fountains and waterfalls, caves and cafes make it a nice trip out.

Great place for walks especially in the spring as there's lots of daffodils.
J. A.
Perfect place for a band to hold a rehearsal. And enjoy the weather. We have held rehearsals there the last few weeks.
Liverpool Scottish Regimental association pipes and drums
A. M.
Lovely waterfalls, wildlife, meeting other people, calmness and it’s so Picturesque
J. S.
A great public space for Liverpool. Being used for a variety of sports or just for families to get out and enjoy some time together. Or for, what seems like, the best part of the city coming together to enjoy the start of the festival season with the free Africa Oye weekend.
V. T.
Beautiful, clean and huge park that is great for BBQs or just nice walks. It’s great that Liverpool has such a nice green place to go.
V. P. W.
A lovely park to walk around, with a lakes and plenty more to see. A lovely Victorian glasshouse too.
V. E.
An absolutely beautiful place! Located reasonably close to Liverpool centre, Sefton Park is the number one place to go on snowy and sunny days. Walking from the town centre will lead you first through Princes Park, and then you reach Sefton. It’s always been beautifully kept when I’ve visited, even after heavy rainfall and harsh winds that could mess up grass, paths and trees. The little café by the lake does superb hot chocolate and brownies, and it’s lovely walking around the lake there to see the birds such as ducks and swans that always frequent it. Can’t recommend this particular park in Liverpool enough!
o. b. c.
A truly stunning park loads of room places to sit what and drink. Amazing
R. (.
Always a good day out with kids at sefton park, could give the pond walkways a bit of a clean though , full of bird poo everywhere
L. B.
First time i'd been to Sefton Park, bigger than Newsham Park but it's more of a "walk and enjoy the scenery" kind of park, there is a large play area for the kids, lovely cafe in the middle called "oasis in the park", a few little caves around the main mini lake, lovely place on a nice day, plenty of wildlife which the kids loved!
P. C.
Worth a visit if you are nearby and literally have 10 minutes to spare. Not much to see. Probably no interest to younger children
N. B.
We attended the spooky Welly walk at sefton park and the kids had a fab time enjoying all the activities.
R. W.
Its a Victorian park. But a really nice placid place despite being busy at times
v. s.
Sefton park has got it all,big open fields where music, food festivals and funfairs take place in the summer. Two cafes with public toilets both with wheelchair access.Big lake, children's playground, tennis courts and bowling green, fairy glen, wildflower meadows, wooded areas, football fields. Its very popular with runners who do laps of the 2.4 mile perimeter.
S. B.
Has to be my favourite place to go when the weather is nice. Fantastic for running, there's a running track round the outside of the park and you'll regularly see fitness fanatics doing their daily workouts on the new outdoor excersize units here too. There's so much green space to relax, have a beer, sunbathe, have a bbq or just be here. Amazing park 😍
M. H.
Amazing city of lights, city of sanctuary event at Sefton park. Events throughout the year, great park for walking, jogging and just enjoying.

Best park in Liverpool by a distance. Always worth a visit whether it's summer or winter. So many nooks and crannies to search. Kingfishers, herons, parakeets live here. Walk through, walk round, stay all day.
A. R.
My favourite place in Liverpool, great place to clear your head, walk the dog and just get away from it all even if it's just for an hour
D. J.
Been to see the floating lanterns and display at The Palm House. Nice to see so many people out.
S. C.
Absolutely beautiful and divine Park. The landscape is amazing and maintained to a high standard. The beautiful lake houses beautiful birds; swans, geese, ducks etc
The palm house is beautiful which houses tropical plants and trees.

Good selection of sandwiches in the Palm House plus soft drinks and tea and coffee
A. D.
Very big. Lots of places to explore.
B. B.
Lovely place is sefton park, well kept , and lovely sights to see, pleasure to walk around, and the palm house has the best pot of tea and american cheese cake ever, I would of give it 5 stars, but the cafe there (not the one buy the lake) was awful, cup of tea in a storophone cup, got loads of small change and service was bad
S. R.
Lovely park on a sunny day, my kids loved running around here and seeing the ducks , also the ice cream shop has really good ice cream
L. G.
Great place for a walk, regardless of the weather. Always lots going on.

One of the reasons I'd struggle to live anywhere other than Liverpool. This park is downright gorgeous.
P. J.
A lovely, attractive botanical glass house with botanical gardens inside and out. Was the wedding venue of my sister. Lovely plants and trees. Serene venue.
J. H.
Lovely walking loads to see very clean and tidy
N. B.
Such a beautiful park to go to.
Perfect for jogs, barbecues and causal walks with family or partners.
There is something for everyone, from large fields to wooded areas to nicely organised garden patches and the lovely variety of wildlife, there is everything you can expect from a nice park.
Only thing that spoils it is people not cleaning up their dog mess and litter.
A. G.
Section Park is beautiful to stroll around in and people and dog watch......Scouse-style comes to the fore and makes for fascinating scenery of people, style and pooches. If that doesn't interest you and you feeling more inclined to nature the park has a great variety of different areas and spaces from open, play, lakes, wooded to Victorian glasshouses, as well as cafes and the fantastic Lark Lane for lunch or snacks
A. G. (. R. M.
ii run here all the time, it's a great place with a lot of paths to explore. Sefton Park trails are never boring
K. L.
Lovely place bands on even ice cream for dogs what more can you ask for

Beautifully laid out Park with sweeping paths around a range of water features. Well restored palm house with Peter Pan amongst many statues. Don't miss the cupid statue in the centre of the park. Good cafe the centre, great lakes and a recently restored band stand. Palm House id a wonderful peaceful space. Occasionally used as a venue for music, fireworks and festivals.
W. H.

Love Sefton park, it's a really great place to just walk the dog, fed the ducks or have a picnic.
G. K.
A decent place to peacefully rest your mind and being pulled away from the strenuous city life. Btw, mallards can eat grains from your hand, too 😊
M. L.
Love this park.
Took my friends from Nigeria there for their first visit to an English park. They where amazed by the beauty and size of the place, and it didn't cost anything to walk around.

M. G.
Beautiful, perfect for a walk in a sunny day, to bring the dogs, to have an ice cream sitting in the grass on summer
R. H.
Haven't been to Sefton Park in a while. Really enjoyed the park, loads. Of. Different routes you can do and not overly crowded we wen on a Saturday and spent the whole. Day there. Good sized play area for the children and it was well maintained. Tennis courts available. Food available at the park and was reasonably priced. The chips were amazing really nice on a hot sunny day and the ice cream choices were lovely. Enough grass space for everyone and was nice seeing famillies meeting up and enjoying the sunshine. Well recommended.
J. K.
Absolutely beautiful place. People who get to go to this park on a daily basis can count themselves lucky. I went to Sefton Park as part of my post graduate class meet up. I ended up taking nearly 500 photos that day. A photographer in me saw heaven in that place. Even if I was not a photographer it's a good place to spend time individually or as a group. Highly recommended spot!
M. S.
tranquillity coming here since I was child and now I bring my own kids here. summer especially. Beautiful nature all around you
S. A.
We visited when oye was on, which was fabulous. The palm house was also gorgeous and we were greeted by a brilliant member of staff.
M. B.
Lovely place for a stroll, especially. On Sunday afternoon with some nice live music.
v. d.
Africa Oye, free festival filled with a lot of good vibes.Great people and excellent music and food.
S. B.
Apart from being one of Liverpool's most beautiful green spaces, it plays host to possibly the greatest free festival in the country.
S. D.
Massive park and plenty of wildlife. I loved it there. Plenty of ducks and rats running around. I was mesmerised. Oh and there is also a lovely quiet serene area with a waterfall there too, in a nice tucked away little place. They also have the botanical gardens there but I can't comment on that as I didn't go in there but that looked big too
J. M.
The best park around ☺️👍👌
H. H.
Only went to the half term fair this time, and never again will i go to one of these death traps again. The handle on our carriage was malfunctioning and the guy knew it, and so did we because it has a light the flashes if it isn't working properly, and yet, he kept the ride going and it was ridiculously fast! Plus, it was like climbing a wall to get to the payment window, no steps. After that ride, we went home because we actually value our lives.
A. M.
Lovely. It's been many years since we went and a lot of money has been spent on it. There are 2 cafes and a restaurant for afternoon tea in the restored greenhouse. Plenty to walk around, lots to explore. Good for Lark Lane too.
L. T. S.
Wonderful place!
a. j.
Love walking and jogging there. Lots of green space
R. K.
Beautiful and scenic park!
S. M.
Lovely peaceful place for a walk and icecream perfect.
F. R.
Nice clean green space. Well maintained paths and plenty of well clean bins that look like they get emptied regularly. Good facilities in both cafes and even a few buckets of cold water out for our hotdogs which is great to see.
A very nice environment for a summer walk with or without a dog!
Plenty of parking available too which is a big bonus.
Haven't been to Sefton Park since the 80s and it has definitely improved loads since then. We will definitely go back.

R. D.
A truly beautiful park with the occasional Cafe. Good for kids, dogs and horses. The perfect place for a jog or run but big enough for a long walk or bike ride. Take some bread for the ducks and nuts for the squirrels.
A. M.
I've not been here for over 20 years. It's lovely. A lot of work has been done on it. I recommend it for a day out. So many huge and well maintained fields for playing as well as areas to explore. There are 3 cafés...the one in the fernery is lovely for afternoon tea but not dog friendly so we avoided it. Well maintained toilets, very impressed and an ice cream parlour. We parked by Lark Lane and went there for dinner after. It was a lovely day out.
V. L.
Why does it keep saying I hate the place? I love sefton park, and the fairy glen, it's do peaceful and quiet, were you can go and think , and reflect. Highly recommended.

M. B.
Absolutely beautiful park. Plenty to see. A must when the weather is nice!
P. J.
Lovely park, lots of cheerful daffodils and lots of ducks and canada geese on the lake. Lovely to see families out enjoying the sunshine.
B. H.
Peaceful place, cafe on site , children play area
W. L.
This park is exceptional. If flowers are your thing then this is not for you. But it's the closest thing of being in the countryside whilst being on the city.
There are so many quiet spots, and I stood in awe looking at a sweeping vista of bullrushes, a curved wooded path and a setting sun.
In my opinion, the walk around the lake, while popular, isn't the best. Park up by the disused green bridge, explore the old river feeding into the fairy glenn, and then mooch around the magnificent Scott's Pines.
Autumn colours, spring daffodils, to hot sunny days of freshly cut grass. Sefton Park nails it every time. Go!
D. K.
What a beautifully maintained park. Lovely lake, ponds, gardens...so lovely to walk around and enjoy the outside. Plenty of space for picnics and for the family and the kids to play. Parking available around the park. Great for dogs and also good for jogging. Beautiful all year round
S. S.
Beautiful park. Hang out, play tennis or walk around the lake and enjoy the green space.

D. C.
Wonderful park
P. B. M.
Nestled in the heart of city of south Liverpool Sefton park is a magnificent 235 acre park . This Grade 1 historic park is also a Green Flag and Green Heritage awarded site . The park with curved path and driveways is dotted with beautiful features and monuments . Its and excellent place for Nature trail where you can spot beautiful birds and the park is filled with beech and other indigenous British trees. The park is open 24 hours and the entry is free but you need an angling permit if you want to do fishing in the boating lake.
D. H.
Great place for either a leisurely or brisk walk. Couple of cafés and toilets.
A. T.
Good place to walk and relax
K. H.
Beautiful big city surburbs green park which even on a very hot bank holiday weekend had plenty of space and distancing for many people as well as lots of different areas of interest.
We expected more problems with finding a parking space given the busy weekend but on road parking was easy, free and safe (the husband was reporting this was a much rougher area in his day, I told him the whole suburb has become more gentrified in the last 25 years ;-) )
P. F.
A friendly, well frequented park. Well kept and attractive.
V. W.
Nice place for a quick walk on a cold, damp day. Even better on a warm sunny one!
J. R.
Sefton Park has a real vibe to it, well worth a visit.

A. M.
A nice place to go to chill out and have a coffee from west coast coffee stall.
L. P.
Great park and the events are really enjoyable
K. R.
A really nice place to visit a large park which was once a Royal hunting park Don't miss the palm house. A magnificent glass dome for tropical plants aplenty. Surround by statues including the original Peter Pan statue. And the Fairy Glen with a small waterfall and streams.
And a walk around the large lake complete with bandstand and cafe. Enjoy.
A. N.
A superb park with lots of trees, vast area, a kid's play area and a small lake in the middle with lots of goose, swans and ducks swimming in it, options for light snacks and over creams. A bit more maintenance is required in terms of water overflow in some areas, which makes it difficult for pedestrians especially children. Overall, a good park.
D. C.
Lovely place with loads of places to sit down..
J. C.
Visited the Palm House today's venue for the Antiques Roadshow. Very interesting experience but unfortunately poor weather curtailed our visit.
S. H.
Lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon and have lunch recommend this greatly

Amazing place to visiting!
C. C.
A lovely park which provides space for lots of events throughout the year. Well cared for and used by local people to access a variety of activities. Close to Lark Lane to catch up for a chat and something to eat.
N. W.
It's a park with lots of trees... Just kidding, it's amazing. It's very big, so if you're looking to do a long walk it'd take you about 1-2 hours depending on speed. And I'm a slow walker. Great areas for S O C I A L DISTANCING. There's little rivers that run into a big pond as well. Lovely little cafe that sells ice cream in the summer too. Top notch.
L. E.
Perfect place in any weather. Good for dog walks, picnics, games or just a stroll.

It was beautiful ,I had a good time with my family and kids really enjoyed. A good place to spend quality time with family.
P. K.
Brilliant chilled place and chilled people . Pity no champagne available chilled or not
G.
One of the best spots in Liverpool to chill and enjoy the sunshine. Many doggos to pet too.
Highly recommend the yearly Africa Oye festival here too!
S. W.
Went for the Liverpool food and drinks festival.great atmosphere and lovely range of food providers.
S. E.
Absolutely beautiful area, lots of open space.
The only shame about the park is that people who use drug's and drink can be found here on multiple occasions but they are extremely noticeable so just stay away from them, the park is big enough
J. M.
Wonderful green space with lake & lots of walks.
C. B.
Definitely worth a visit, nice park, wildlife and scenery.
k. m.
As I worked on the renovation of the palm house, I was really pleased to see the finished item.
Well done to everyone involved.
Please visit and help to fund the upkeep.

S. T.
Lovely sunny if somewhat cold day at Sefton Park. Pics of our resident parrots and the bandstand.
C. K.
Lovely park huge and kept spotless
J.
Amazing space in the south of the city. Large open space with many walking paths, lakes and areas of grass for families to use as play areas. The Victorian Palm House is stunning and available for events. There is food and drink available in the park but Lark Lane is also a short walk away for those that fancy a greater selection. Note there are no toilet facilities open.
P. R.
Beautiful park a place to walk and relax so fortunate to have it on my doorstep
M.
Nice park. More drug contro at the LIMF would be a good idea instead of turning a blind eye.
K. S.
Absolutely brilliant place, lots of animals to see fab for a picnic and some lovely sights
T. T.
Wide green open space. Walk, run ,play and free. Let's keep it this way. Let's keep it litter free and clean. Enjoy this priveledge that is denied to some.
B. J.
Sefton park is picturesque, amazing lakes and plenty of plants, we attended LIMF and had a great time
J. D.
Beautiful park. Just a shame the palm house was closed.
A. G.
Met some of my partners office colleagues for a picnic and games, plenty of space for kids to play and run around while the adults had a good catch up.
Good facilities centrally in the park and very nice ice-cream 👍
J. R.
Oktoberfest was brill. Waiting an hour for a drink was a let down.

Beautiful Victorian park set in mature woodland with facilities for all the family - plus the stunning Palm House with friendly, welcoming staff. Loved our visit today, coupled with a tasty lunch at The Bookbinder on Lark Lane. Thanks Liverpool 👌
S. T.
Lovely park good for cyclist too. Playground for children.
L. M.
Had a great afternoon with the family loads to do and see
J. P.
Sound, changed somewhat since I was there 50 years ago. The family used to enjoy days out at the Park, particularly missed the rowing and motor boats. However it was very pleasant with people observing social distancing. The sunshine did help and may make the journey from Cheshire again. 😊
E. G.
Beautiful big park with plenty to do for both adults & kids. If you are into running then just 1 loop of the outside equates to roughly 2.3miles and that's with abit of incline- you can also make this short or longer by going through many routes in within the park.
Plenty of green space for family time, kids to play and also to play sports. There's a good sized kids area with swings, climbing, slides etc and this is also modified for disabled including wheelchairs- This way everyone can join in without no one being left out❤
Theres a cafe, ice cream and toilets based in the middle of the park and there's also a small cafe located at the top of the lake.
Great adventure with caves, streams, woodlands, stepping stones and more. Lovely scenery, relaxing and peaceful place. You've got more than enough choice if you want to be within the crowd or in your own space.
Sefton park is also a short walk to lark lane which is full of independent bars and restaurants that too is a lovely atmosphere
Not only this but it's a great place for photography 📷
c. w.
Sefton Park is lovely and provides flat easy walking. We often visit the cafe at the Palm House for coffee and cake or ice cream. It's a lovely relaxed setting with outdoor seating and parasols.
C. B.
Great night out
J. L.
Beautiful park. Parakeet flying x whistling, flocks of them. Glorious views, Lake Swans well maintained. Cafe, restraunt everything for lovely days out. Idyllic.
M. C.
This park is one of liverpool's classic treasures. With such features as the palm house and also the beautiful scenery you get from walking the full length round. There are concert events on in the summer to enjoy and if that is not your thing, why not try a simple picnic. It has a children's play area too if you have children.
M. R.
Love this park for going for a walk with the kids
C. P.
I love this park sooo much! It's beautiful and pretty huge too. Offers a great opportunity to get away from it all and see some nature not too far from the city centre. It has a cafe on the north end and an ice cream place on the southern end of the lake. Lots of opportunities to see dogs which I enjoy as I live in a rented flat and I'm not allowed pets.
G. M.
A very beautiful and peaceful place to visit, great spot for photography. Well worth a visit, highly recommended
S.
Great place to visit, just don't go on a roasting hot day.

J. T.
Excellent park. Great cafe, beautiful and we'll maintained. Lovely walk, and lovely day out
J. A.
Had a lovely afternoon with family and grandchildren
Walking around lake, having a picnic and played family games. Did struggle as travelled for an hour on bus and no toilets open in the vacinity. Also bit worrying how busy park was when we're meant to be social distancing, did not take children onto the park facilities due to this
l. m.
Always visit here to walk my dogs when I visit my parents, lovely wide open spaces and everyone so friendly
M. K.
Large area and wide variety of trees and wildlife.
R. “. J.
Country style feel within the city! Plenty of space for people to rest & play! Even on a sunny bank holiday! Car parking around the perimeter roads Enjoyed a pleasent afternoon with friends there!
J.
Gentle walk with the kids /dog/or partner. Nice place to ride though on a bike ride as well
F. S.
Stunning park. Great for a stroll or a picnic. I always bring visitors here as a tourist attraction. There's a big lake with some ducks that's really relaxing to just sit and watch. There's also a small cafe for a coffee or gelato. There are often events or festivals held in the park which are really great. Also very short distance from the iconic lark lane with many restaurants and bars.
C. K.
Beautiful!!Full of people and happy faces!!Be sure to visit it in a sunny day!!
N. 1.
Lovely for walking lark lane close by. Fairy Glen and willow tree you can climb.
C. S.
This is a great park, there's plenty of room to move about safely. A good place to walk your dog. Plenty to see. Even though it's Boxing day the cafe was open also the toilet was open and clean.
E.
Amazing expanse of parkland with wide pathways, many lined by old style gas lamps and lovely old trees. There's a boating lake, fountains (Peter pan statue on one) Fairy Glen, Palm House and lots of other features , including 2 places to get hot drink and snacks.
C. P.
A beautiful old Park. With lots to do and a busy visitors centre. It also has a palm house which is free.

Great big circular space surrounded by a ring road if you like, all sorts of people from joggers mums n dad's with the kids, often have events held here and always good for a bumper fireworks display on November the 5th
Y. S. (. G.
Nice and beautiful place for family and friends to take a walk

It was a beautiful sunny day and fairly cool. I went for a bike ride through the Park and up to the Palm House. The Park is really well kept, the scenery was amazing and flowers and blossom out. I am always blown away by how stunning the park is. There are toilets in the café in the centre of the park and lots of people walking or walking dogs. I recommend it as a park to visit and go regularly over the summer months
T. N.
It's an impressive park with loads of facilities and activities (tennis courts, BBQs, cafe, etc.) Great for dog walks.
E. G.
Really nice park, well maintained. Has a nice lake. Cafe with good ice cream, tennis courts, play area for kids. Lots of cute friendly squirrels, if you take unshelled peanuts they love them and will come up to you. Wonderful place to chill in the sun and have a wee charcoal barbecue in the summer too !
S. F.
My favourite in liverpool. Love everything about this place. Beautiful pond, lake. Lots of wildlife, the conservatory is beautiful, garden inside, coffee shop, lovely ice cream. Its huge!! Play area for kids is fantastic. Sometimes great events here. Absolutely love it. Love the fairy glen...ghost story about that place an not far from other tourist attractions. Penny lane, strawberry fields, lark lane etc
S.
Fully enjoy walking around Sefton park with my family. Beautiful place to visit.
C. P.
A really nice park to visit nice cafe and ice cream parlour near the lake.
E. J.
Lovely long walk with lots of wildlife to see
m. d.
Listen, I'm an Allerton boy and Calderstones Ultra..but even I have to admit that this Sevvy place is one spiritual spiritual gaff, man. Heavy summers spent here. Used to be pure chabbonging it up but I've become more of an ale man now who enjoys a boozy one on a summers afternoon pure philosophising lad. Proper sacred lad
D. A.
Beautiful park. Well used all year round.
S.
A beautiful park, we are regular visitors throughout the year. Lots of wildlife came to say hello during our visit today. Apart from dog walkers and runners the park is pretty quiet at 7am if you are worried about social distancing.
A. M.
A lovely park. The glass house is beautiful and there was a craft fair there, which wS good
K. M.
Take plenty water with you especially on a hot day. 🔥 there is bowls of water left out for dogs but it is left out in the baking sun so it will be to hot for your dogs to drink . They need cool water just like us . And don't forget those paths are scorching in the sun for there paws the blister easily.
T. M.
Great park, with lake, some big fish. Café, and amenities. Nice for a free day out in Liverpool or to visit Lark lane, with amazing selection of restaurants and bars, lovely area, atmosphere and people
D. L.
Great park with lakes/ponds full of fish ducks and seen a couple of terrapin once! and two cafes plus a good play area for kids! Plenty of green spaces and the palm house is an interesting building.
D. V.
Lovely park great facilities for children however toilets at both the lakeside cafe and the ice cream parlour need a bit of attention. Beautiful, large, green space generally well kept and pretty clean. Plenty of bins just wish people would use them! 😡 Love the place though 😊
P. C.
Nice peaceful and quiet. So many places to sit and relax and have a picnic, ducks and squirrels everywhere.
C. D.
Went to LIMF. Absolutely fabulous day.really well organised!
G. D.
Largest Publicly Owned Park in the country. Great place to spend a few hours, especially if walking a dog.
Cookie loves exploring all our Liverpool parks particularly this one.
V. B.
Fantastic park to visit at any age. Palm house is great to visit and has some amazing plants as well as a small cafe. Further around the park is a play area for children and another cafe that serves food, ice cream and drinks. A lovely day out whether it's the height of summer or a cold crisp winters day
J. M.
Beautiful park. It's huge, with many water features lots of footpaths and plenty of benches. Two cafes plus the palm house. Easy street parking and small parking bays at intervals.

Beautiful park. Very pretty fountains, statues, wildlife, trees and flowers. Play park for kids, tennis courts and lots of space for sports. The free festivals in the summer provide entertainment for music lovers and dancers. The Palm House offers a multitude of events from yoga and salsa classes to artisan markets to gigs and performances for old and young alike. In all it's a fab place for everyone to enjoy.
R. W.
Good for a relaxing afternoon. I went with a couple of friends for a cycle, loads of space for a decent ride. Also a lot of dogs 🦮 to say hi to along the way.

Sefton park is a lovely place to visit.
You can jog,run and enjoy the close to nature beauty.
It had beautiful ponds with plenty of birds and tracks to walk or cycle.
There are also a few tuck shops inside the park as well.though plenty of food and other stores nearby.
Good for drone or kite playing as well as other activity .
It had playground for kids as well as tennis and football ground for adults . ducks and swans swimming in ponds to make your kids happy.
