P. S.Wonderful place to relax, walk and to refresh. We can feed the swans, ducks and birds here.
S. C.One of the finest park in the area. Good for short walks. Water body in the middle adds to the beauty of the park.
M. W.Nice big park, plenty of wooded areas to run in and out of. Large play park suitable for children 12 or less. Best bit is the large lake, lots of wildlife to see. There were plenty of people fishing. Reasonable size free carpark, bus stops within a few minutes walk too. A small row of shops couple of minutes away too. There's a Lidl and Asda between 5 and 10 minutes walk if you wanted to pick up a last minute picnic.
If you do bring something to feed the ducks please avoid white bread if possible. Other options like oats, peas, sweetcorn, plain rice or bird seed is great. I found out today geese also like spinach!
D. N.Beautiful park in the East of London. Lots of trees and large areas with lawn for picnics. The North part has a large pond with plentiful wildlife. There are some free car parking around after 14h, but also accessible by bus and DLR. The kids playground has many structures to climb and to play in.

r. f.great park nice play area for big kids and small kids my son was over there to start fishing and some of the fidshermen were very nice and helpful nice open areas you can have a pinic or just sit and watch the lake or feed the ducks pebble beach for kids to run about on and a waterfall that my son loved to climb

J. O.It was my first time coming to this park with my children and they really enjoyed the recreation area. The range of apparatus was sufficient for all age groups, it's a good size and it has small hills which I think is useful and provides additional play opportunities. The geese are quite friendly and my children were happy feeding them. The lake is nice but the geese poo is not conducive to having a picnic next to it, although there is seating where in the recreation area where the lake is visible. There are no public toilets that I could see, or perhaps they were out of use due to the Covid crisis (if your little one needs to pee urgently there are bushes). The car park is such a bonus, I think it's of of few parks in Newham that has one. Overall, it's a nice park to visit.

K. Y.Needs updating, things like outdoor exercise equipment. Basketball court should be fully fenced as ball ends up bouncing on to wet muddy grass (We are living in the UK, come on), makes your shoes super slippery! Very hazardous!

C. 8.Social distancing in this park is out the window. Parents letting kids play all over the play area together. No sanitizer in sight.
People on both the volleyball and football areas with no social distancing in mind.
Complete joke really. Also a group of guys using poaching lines to catch fish. ( long lines with numerous hooks on running from 1 edge to another edge of the lake.
Such a shame no park rangers etc watching these things.
A. G.Finaly refurbish...visiting this park over 8 years. Still lot of improvement can be done but finally kids not just running around on the playground , they can find working , good quality equipment to play with. Refurbished just on time as upset parents wanted to send a complain to the council regarding healthy concerns. Thanks for the investment!
W. M.It was fine, a good area for kids to play, lots of wildlife, swans, geese, ducks, a number of fat pigeons (but I also saw at least five large rats - so only three stars). I never checked out the toilets but there are some I believe.
