Its a very friendly local park with a lot of variety. There is a lot of open greenery where you can play football, catch, rounders or even have a picnic. I really like this park and so do my parents as they are elderly they enjoy coming here as part of their daily walk. There are youngsters, adults and elderly people who visit this park and there generally is a good atmosphere no matter when you visit. They have a small kids play area also and alot benches, a small water fountain and a small cricket field. I mean there are so many photos on here that I hope will do justice. It really is a good local park to have. I have attached a picture of the fair that is hosted within the park once or twice a year. Sadly just like many other parks there are some Anti Social Behaviour which takes places near the big fountain by the bus stand where there are characters who like to congregate and chill. They do like to make a mess, noise and smoke whatever they like to smoke. Apart from that the park is pleasant!

This is a great place to stretch your legs a little, family outing on a sunny afternoon or even if you just want relax on the grass and top up your tan. A well maintained park and has plenty of parking but not sure if the council got a little greedy and decided to reduce parking time from 4 to 2 hours. So if you find yourself enjoying the day out a little longer then couple of hours, it will get expensive.

I've been living here since 2005 and used to play here in the swings and jog in the early mornings at 6am. What a pleasant site,and for those who don't know it also has a WW1 Memorial dedicated to the soldiers. Has a Tennis Court as well. One of the best parks in London.

Nice park well maintained, my kids always enjoyed. In summer time local government Newham Council arrange summer festivals here, where all communities participate. But due to lockdown and COVID they postponed the events.

Central Park was fantastic for bike riding. It was varied in wonderful sights of forest-like terrain with dazzling ponds and lakes. Bursting in a wide selection of activities to partake in including a beautiful zoo. It's also very convenient for getting to different parts of Manhattan. It's not hard to find restaurants and convenience stores either once leaving the park in whatever direction. If I am ever in New York again, I'd definitely take another visit here

This park a testament to the communal benefits derived from Lottery funding, focused local vision and capable execution. Much of the original landscaping outline restored incorporates remnant historic fabric with information boards, markers, plaques, a WWI memorial and a tree trail. A maintained complement of the normal expected park-ish attractions/diversions found here. Tree-lined avenues, smooth pathways for the less ambulatory, a pleasant cafe, attractive bedding/plants and an evocative “Edwardian” garden add ambience and a relaxed tone to an exceptional amenity that confounds expectations and a boast to the local authority.

Discovered this park along my ride as needed a break. Loved it but they could make gates bigger. There is plenty of things you would expect in the park however, the walking path is nice and even. Probably a good route for jogger, there are Cafes around which is nice to see. It’s near a busy road but Inclosed, so be mindful

Great open spaces and a brilliant children's play area makes this a superb place to bring the family on a sunny day. Parking is very limited as the roads nearby are all permit, so use Public transport. Though there is a flowering garden, it's really nothing to write home about.

Was a lovely family friendly park. The best in the area in my opinion!! They are always having events here. And it's huge compared to its near by rivals. They have a lovely little cafe and a playground for toddlers to teens.

Rather enjoyable ends that the Mandem and I have fun frequenting for the purposes of consuming one's luncheon in a natural environment. Not the largest play area, but still quite enjoyable. Hot drinks from the cafe are rather expensive. Has a beautiful garden section that is truly a hidden gem, did not expect to see such a place of serenity so close to the busy centre of Newham.

Such a lovely place, hidden within east London

For families it's great when the sun is shining, and there's plenty of play areas for the kids. There's a tennis court and it's great for riding your bike. The fields where you'll find people playing football or cricket any day of the year are often used for events which attract thousands, such as the brilliant "Under the Stars" However, like most parks these days it's full of gangs of youths hanging round a bench in their hooded parkas, which always makes me laugh when it's a sweltering 28° c outside. Some might find it intimidating, they obviously think it's cool themselves, personally, I think they look like 'plonkers,' as Del Boy would say! There used to be a café in the park too, but I think that had fallen long before Covid struck. Worth a shot I suppose if you are an enterprising businessperson and have an idea or two So, worth a visit of course, but Central Park is best avoided once it goes dark - unless its holding one of its event nights, which would be well policed - and at all times hold on to your valuables!

I could not find a single information on any website or any boards across the park for closing times. I went in there to walk my large two dogs at 4.30pm and by 5. 15 I was locked in the park with all the gates padlocked with chains. Had it only me, I would climbed out but it was impossible with two large dogs. No warning.. No checking... No help and No info.. There were some young boys in there that luckily helped me out, otherwise I would have had to spend a cold night in the park or call the emergency line.

I really like this park, it has beautiful open spaces, paths for walking, jogging, bikes, tennis courts, a basketball area, not a full court, a children's play area, a park cafe...it's very peaceful and yet fun for kids! I go there often!!! Would recommend for singles, couples and families!

Very nice park with a good play area for the kids. Unfortunately toilets are not available as the council refuse to keep them open. The Larder cafe was here but due to lack of support from the borough is having to shut down now which is a great pity. Gardens are usually well kept but the extreme summer has had an adverse effect this year (2018). There do tend to be groups of people using the memorial part of the park as a drinking area so be warned about that.

Good park for the locals that live there. It's big and spacious for playing football, basketball and sometimes even volleyball. The memorial is a great place to relax and is quiet unlike other memorials which have been placed in the most ridiculous places of all. Would recommend this!

Nice and clean,some of the children's play area could do with cleaning,seems the adults who visit don't like to tidy up. They have a water play area but it's never working,what's the point of it being there? The cafeteria is clean and tidy,and they provide nappies in the ladies for new borns,very nice idea. Great open space, the children's park is a bit run down, some of the items need repair and maintenance. Over all the park is a good space, with ample parking, I would definitely recommend a visit, my children like coming here, on a hot day can be busy, however not too crowded, as plenty of space. Patrolling park rangers would be a good addition to the park, especially on busy days, to move on large teenagers loitering with intent.

Beautiful Local park, safe clean and well used with a coffee shop and a well maintained play area for the kids, free tennis courts, table tennis tables and a bowling green . The park hosts a range of events though out the year with he Newham Mayors Show (held in July and the Under the stars concert in September being free for everyone and both providing a fun filled experience for all of the family. All in all a little oasis in the centre of our urban metropolis if you need a break and want to sit still for a while this park has plenty of benches and space for you to do just that :)

A well maintained local park in Newham. Well planted and clean. There is a very good adventure playground and kiosk. There are also tennis courts available. The park is used for a number of events by the council throughout the year. Small festivals with food stalls and fairgrounds are successful and get very busy.

The playground could do with a bit more upkeep and it's very sad that the café appears to have closed permanently but there are swings and slides for all ages from toddler to early teens. There are level running trails, a formal flower garden, and tennis and bowls. This is a well-loved local amenity.

Good bus link but nearest east ham underground station 15 minutes away by walk or few minutes by bus. Public toilets also available. Residents parking zone but some 2 hours free parking available around park.

Park quite good with enclosed area for little ones but park loos a massive disappointment, not cleaned regularly enough or to a good standard. Cafe is too expensive for the area and the public loos are the only ones available for cafe customers and public alike. If you are thinking of visiting and might need to change your baby forget it!

A Great park, The park has a very large child's playground with many apparatus. There is a bowls club and Tennis Court facility located within the Park. The park also has a cafe and toilets facilities located near the northern entrance. The out path can be used a as a good running track. My only negative thought is the grass/ ground is not the best making it difficult to play football and sports.

The only downside to the park is the rare anti-social behaviour and untidiness. If you are in the east London area Central Park is a great place to visit.

Great common person's big green park by the side of a main popular road , High Street South, London E6. A corner near the High Street is with a Bus terminal of 2 bus routes, 58 & 115. It's a nice park bring your own food & drink the cafeteria in the park has a very limited menu and that's the put it nicely the play area is great my kids love it but if you do feel hungry there's a cafe next to the war memorial just across the road reasonably price nice large amount of grass tennis courts and if you want to join a Bowls Club this one's pretty good bring your on toilet paper there's never any in the toilet facilities lol

Love this park any time of the year! I've enjoyed many fun events in this beautiful park organised by Newham Council. Under The Stars concerts and The Mayor's Newham Show are amongst my favourits. Free entry to all. Very well organised and presented. Plenty of activities for kids and adults. They have a couple of outdoor tennis courts, and ping-pong tables. Unfortunately no permanent bike-locking facilities in or near the park, but the council and event organisers usually arranges a temporary solution during the events.

Newham's free annual music festival Under the Stars never fails to impress, not least classical music Sunday. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra provide a fabulous programme always culminating in a 'last night of proms' selection. However, the RPO, have the advantage of playing Under the Stars for the finale ... Central Park provides the perfect setting as a space where people of diverse cultures and ethnicities can come together to enjoy themselves!
