Reviews of Clapton Square garden
Love this square in the heart of hackney. The playground has had a decent update since I was here last and is fun for smaller groups of kids up to age 8/9 nothing much for older kids or adults to exercise on. Looking good even in the depths of winter. The square and surrounding buildings are of historical importance too and there is a great coffee shop on the corner.
A nice little park. The playground is relatively small but entirely adequate for a toddler. And it's usually quieter than the bigger nearby playgrounds in London Fields and Hackney Downs, which is helpful sometimes. There is also a section of the park with seating, and a small field area, too. Close to a Sainsburys, for what it's worth.
A very nice little park. Needs some updating, apart from swings, it's very much 2 to 5 year old orientated. Lots of 6 to 8s go there.
Beautiful.. well maintained gardens .. Good small park for the little ones ...
Gets busy when the older children leave school.. not a good time to go there
It's a nice little local park, with greenery, and I see it almost every day.
Don't find it safe at all as there are men around the park area which is a bit unkind to see as they are drunk and smoking. The park needs a good clean.
Nice place to sit and chill for adults. And kids to play.
They could give the place a bit of clean up though.
Grew up here as a child, very small park but if you're local it's nice for the kids.
A nice local park with two sections. One with benches and green area and the other including a play area for children plus a grassy area ideal for a kick about with football or other field sports. Get busy in the summer with more folks taking advantage of picnic opportunities with the kids and family.
Sweet little park mainly for residents and their offspring. Well maintained, lush park where one could still get a feel of the 18 century on the north side- nice buildings. Not a destination park in itself
