Reviews of Hyde Park
S. H.
It is a beautiful park. Great walk and amazing views, the lake is so beautiful and the ducks are so cute. We loved the nature and it is so clean. Make sure to have comfortable shoes to be able to walk all around it, as it is really huge.
S. B.
One of the most beautiful and peaceful places you can visit in London. Just sit on a bench, breath some fresh air, take a walk in the natural that is in the middle of one of the largest cities in the world. Enjoyed the beauty and the green trees. A great and peaceful experience
麵.
Nice Park!
Feeling really calm and comfortable being there. It was also great seeing lots of animals there.
There is a cafe at the front gate and another cafe is by the pond. Should be nice having a cup of coffee by there.
C. S.
Absolutely spectacular place to go to with young child. Most importantly your physiological needs will be easily met as the toilet within the park are well maintained and clean. Just make sure you got 20 pence. The other option is to pay contactles way. Well maintained playground in close proximity to Buckingham Palace and lovely coffee places where you can get something to drink and bite are icing on the cake. Maybe we were on the special date but most likely it is a magical place and your child will not want to leave the playground.
S. C.
Lovely green space in Central London. Park is massive so best way to see the most of it is via bike. Granted the bike is limited to certain cycle trails which mean you don't get to go into the actual gardens and fountains.
B. C. K.
We went to Winter wonderland and really enjoyed ourselves. They had panels on the floor with made it easier for pushchairs especially in the rain. There were alot of places to eat a fun for all ages. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
m. k.
Lovely park .you can do a lot of activities in there .
The lake is beautiful full of a lot of kinds of wild life. Have restaurants and coffee shop.
And every year on Christmas there is the amazing winter wonderland I love it
K. J. (.
Lovely park , the cycle routes simply fantastic. Walking through the serpentine is simply delightful. A obvious recommendation for a tourist or anyone local. Beautiful place to clear your head from the hustle and bustle of the London life.

Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park is amazing! It's worth to visit and have fun!
Winter wonderland was great. some bits are a little expensive however if u shop around the stalls u can get things at a good price
K. B.
Very accessible, lots to do. We went early so didn't really have to queue but it was super busy by the time we left. Lots of nice little stalls. Is expensive however so definitely set a budget for yourself.
P. M.
We stepped into the ice bar at winter wonderland which was fantastic. I feel that winter wonderland has stepped up this year, bigger and far better than any other year. The ice bar was brilliant. We were provided with coats and gloves as it was -10 degrees. Ice sculptures were brilliant and even the bar was made entirely of ice!
a.
We had an amazing night at winter wonderland, though the ice rink had defrosted enough that it had to be closed. We booked tockets online but wish we hadn't purchased the food package as there was so much there we would have been spoilt for choice. The ice scptures were an absolute work of art, and well worth a visit. Can't wait to go again next year! Only down side was we were asked to get our covid passes ready but no one checked them, no body's were checked around us either.

For some seriously deep life reflection and insights, strong connection with nature, and general mood enhancement, head to Hyde park any season. Great for cathartic running, intellectual walks while listening to an audio book, romantic strolls, or just general catch up with friends when you choose not to involve food in the equation.
D. M.
What a lovely experience for the festive season.
Something for everyone rides, ice skating, roller-coasters for the adults ice bar, Ice sculpture. Plenty of food and drinks areas with hot toddies and hot drinking chocolate Mmm. Plenty of toilets no parking at all. just a fun day out for the whole family. Worth a visit.
M. Z.
So busy at the weekend but very nice Park to have a walk with dog, run, get some food, and sit in the grass. Too many things to do there. Lovely on the spring time when everything is blooming.
C. N.
Before Kensington palace, i spent hours at Hyde park. So much to see and walk about, you dont know where to start and go next. So plan it for a whole day out ( i arrived at 10 am left by 5 pm). Bring comfy shoes and a warm jacket.
M. B.
Great place to go for a relaxing walk, run, anything exercise related reallt. It's huge. Plenty of different areas to explore. Can imagine in the busier months it'd absolutely packed.
C. B.
will always be amazing to spend some time at this lovely greeny park and cleanse your lungs with fresh oxygen.
This was the most beautiful park I've ever been in. Loved the squirrels and parrots. I came with the assumption it was 'just a park' but I was wrong! Lovely little cafes, plenty toilets too. We could have easily spent a whole day walking round. Fab.
G. O.
Hyde Park is the bigger half (sic) of a large green area in central London. If travelling to Oxford Street via the Tube go to Lancaster Gate and enjoy the walk across the park to Marble Arch.
My favourite open space in the capital. It might just be my perception, or the times I visit, but there seem to be far more birds on this side than in neighbouring Kensington Gardens. And there’s a great variety many of which are quite tame and so present some great photo opportunities even if you only have a mobile phone.
The Serpentine is glorious on a sunny day and a trip out on the water, via pedalo or rowing boat, is recommended even if you only do it once.
Bring your own food as local little wooden eateries, though lovely to look at, aren’t cheap. Definitely, definitely bring a water bottle or two as the walks are longer than you think and so can be exhausting on a hot, sunny day. Also bring your own picnic blanket as deck chairs are charged for.
As always watch out for joggers and cyclists who are around at most times of the day.
Nevertheless, it’s the best place to exercise yourself and the dog especially now that the London Congestion Charge has resulted in air far cleaner than back when I started coming here in the ‘90s.
The main ‘gotcha’ is that the character and feel of the area varies according to when you visit. Early mornings in Spring and Autumn, especially Sundays, are best as the friendly (for London) locals seem to come out. Visit midday in the height of tourist season and it becomes difficult to move around let alone enjoy the space.
D. B. W.
Lovely vibrant place.
Winter wonderland was there, but had more fun being followed by the squirrels.
They were so friendly they just come up to you and camber into you too.
Parakeets flying around wild and feed from your hand too
W. R.
It is vast but lovely, due to covid and forgetting our passport we walked through the park and discovered many spots that would normally be missed. A great days walking.
S. C.
Fantastic place for Christmas celebrations with friends.
I feel they did an especially good job during 2021 to be COVID-19 safe.
C. S.
Our family's favorite park. Besides being iconic and the perfect park in general, you can get a whole day's worth of entertainment sitting on a bench and listening to the conversations of people walking by. And maybe bring a handful of nuts to share with the super friendly squirrels.
V. P.
Loved it. Starting off from Marble Arch Mound and cycling to the river at the centre where I enjoyed some amazing oregano chips. Then walking through to the circlural pond area with all the ducks, swans and pigeons. What's not to love about it.
C. T.
Visited Winter wonderland and booked the 10-1 slot. Better idea to book this slot as it wasn't so busy. So much fun, saw the Ice Palace and Zippos circus. Absolutely amazing!

One of the best park in London. Full of nature. U can see variety of birds, plants, flowers. Beautiful autumn views. Love to enjoy the lake, boating. Best for walk in any season of the year. Good thing about it’s location right in the middle of city London. It’s one side Buckingham Palace, on other side world famous Oxford street, other hand Knights Bridge. Easy access by bus or underground all side of this park. Never ever get tired to visit it again n again. It’s full of entertainment. U can enjoy horse riding, cycling, boating, skating n many more activities in this park. On top of that every year Winter Wonderland comes to this park for giving them happiness n reminding them that Xmas is on its way 😄. It’s the must must to do thing if ur in London in mid of Nov to mid of Jan. The best Xmas market u can have here. Full of fairy lights. Love the Ice Skating under the fairy lights. My fav Princess Diana memorial is there. Love to enjoy my sunset view here whenever I’m around
K. Q.
It's amazing here. So many places to have fun at. Also plenty of food choices. Live music, fresh food and chilling attractions!
R. G.
Hyde park is the place to be in. It's full of fun. Lot of nice shops around. Very scenic. Park is beautiful. Come alive at night in winter with wonderland, ice skating ring and amazing food and rides. This year there is an entry fee of 5 quids but totally worth it. It is so easy to reach and easily accessible via green work, Hyde park corner or Knightsbridge tube stations. It is a family fun event. Nice atmosphere. Lots of rides for all ages...A giant wheel.
A fun not to be missed.
M. F. F.
One of the most popular and beautiful Park in London. Enormous green areas to walk, safe and clean. Lovely park form spend a day with friends or family.
S. A.
Winter Wonderland is amazing, had tonnes of fun, the ice sculptures were beautiful but it is VERY cold in there - take gloves and a scarf! The rides are a bit pricey some of them were £8 for the one ride which stacked up pretty fast. XXL was fun though, the Eurocoaster was a bit underwhelming, nevertheless had a good time though. Take cash for some of the stalls as they sometimes said their card machines are broken, there is an ATM somewhere in winter wonderland but it’s all a big maze!
W. N.
The park was super busy with lots of traffic, hugely coz of the Winter Wonderland. I enjoyed taking photos of statues around the park. It's very big and exits into several busy towns within London.
H. S.
Hyde Park, is truly a fantastic place to go. Catering all the family needs, as well as Halal food nearby on Edgware Road. It's fun for a family day out or a day out in general, exploring the beautiful Captial.
B. F. T.
Best park in the world or what ? So quiet and lovely.. greenery everywhere.. squirrels, dogs, birds and swans .. very nice for exercising and for a quiet walk
O. H.
The park is quite big and it has pretty much everything you need.
Enough space to just sit on the grass or on a bench and enjoy the quite and peace.
A beautiful lake filled with wild animals (ducks and geese). And a nice place to ride your bicycle.
L. P.
Winter wonderland is awesome. Great food options. Lots of rides. One of the best festive season activities around 👍
V. S.
Nice place to enjoy winter at winter wonderland, lots of things to do , lots of people, everywhere que for rides you must need 6- 7 hours If you want to explore everything.
Y. S.
Great park. Large and wooded. It is possible to feed some animals. Friendly and happy people. It is possible to sit in front of the lakes and admire the scenery. I recommend going to the Italian Garden inside the park and the Princess Diana Memorial. There are some spots in the park where it is possible to feed the birds. I recommend it to everyone.
N. B.
Lovely park in a fabulous location with Marble Arch on one side and Kensington Palace on the other. Plenty of food and drink outlets as well as a cafe next to There is also a cafe next to the Surpentine. Great for runners, walkers and strollers as well as dogs.
H. W.
Wow, what an amazing place right in the centre of London. Loads of paths to explore and lots of things to see. The distances are more than you think so able sure you have enough time and energy to get to where you want to.
F. P.
A go to place every Christmas. Amazing atmosphere. They also serve halal food which is a bonus. Down side of it is they need more seating areas near the foos section
R.
We had a lovely picnic and stroll in the park. A very delicious Ice cream which was £3.90. The Diana Memorial Playground had an over 20min wait so we didn't manage to go in.
V. S.
Such a huge park! Amazing place if you want to take pics of sunset, I went to Serpentine lake and is an awesome spot.
h. e.
Very nice specially the lake with birds, goose and ducks you can enjoy a lot of time and have fun specially for kids
L. G.
Winter wonderland absolutely fantastic, lively atmosphere, Christmas spirit definitely in the air. Quite a big crowd, not good if u are worried about large numbers especially in the evening. Prices at certain stalls are a bit high also rides are pricey. So much to see and do, will definitely recommend!!
M. Y.
one of the top 10 attractions in London. Must visit places specially for persons interested in history. Well maintained.
P. M.
You can take a peaceful long walk and clear your mind. The allowed cycling area is pretty large
R. W.
Lots of space and seating. There are toilets and a food / drink place at each side of the park (North, Z East, South, West). They are a bit expensive, but most provide a lot of seating and have variety of food and drinks available. Just avoid the top cafe, unless you want coffee, because the food is bad and the other drinks are overpriced (£2.40 for a an of coke!).
There are lots of ducks roaming near the lakes and swans too. You can often find them eating, sleeping, or cleaning their feathers.
J. H.
Hyde park at Christmas went to the Winter Wonderland. Had to prebook. Well organised. Fair ground rides, lots of stalls with different food from around the world. Most are in wooden huts and the theme carried on through the park. Different stalls to buy exclusive presents . Lots of security. An ice rink, ice bar, ice sculpture which again you prebook . The ice sculptures were amazing. Limited to a time frame of 3 hours in the Wonderland which is enough if not queuing for fairgrounds rides . The rides were very expensive and you needed to buy tokens from a kiosk . A variety of places to sit down for a drink whether hot chocolate, beer, coffee. Lots of toilets around . They provided you a map when you enter . We had to go in the morning which was good as everything was clean but in the evening would be amazing with all the lights from the stalls and rides . Just watch out for the raised floors and muddy patches . Yes would go again hopefully for a later slot . Underground stations right by the park.
Hyde park is a lovely park without the Wonderland being there.
M. J. T.
Huge place and great winter wonderland setup, London breathes through this park and it’s a great place to visit. Very close to the palace, Soho, Trafalgar square, etc. The measures and checks in place were good too!
A. M.
My favourite of all the parks, worth getting up early and visiting at dawn, someday's you will be treated to the army riding through occasionally in full ceremonial dress. Very well maintained such a shame that people cannot out there rubbish in the bin. At times the park is so tranquil that you can be forgiven for forgetting that you are in the centre of London, lots of wildlife to look out for and you may even spot one of the eccentric Serpentine Swimmers enjoying an early morning swim. Beautiful park
m. m.
How wonderful to be able to walk through this park, taking in the colours and smells of Autumn. Dogs, Squirrels, Ducks, Swans, Families all mingling together.. perfect.x
F.
An amazing place, great for walks, runs and cycling. There is plenty of places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. A Superb green area in London City. So beautiful and so peaceful. It's a great place for picnics or simply hire a boat & enjoy some peddling on the fresh waters.
A. S.
Winter Wonderland is Magical. A great day out for Everyone.
A German Village, lots of places you can get a stien of Beer and Hotdog.
Outdoor Ice-skating, Big wheel, Ice sculptures , Ice bar, lots of rides and games.
Easy to get to on the tube.
C. D.
We absolutely loved our visit to Hyde park in London. We went on a Sunday and even though it rained a lot, it was very quiet compared to the past. Our dog loved the walk and the squirrels. The gardens here are immaculate, I cannot express how beautiful they are and how much effort has gone into creating and up keeping the flower, trees and bushes. There are multiple gardens across the park, all well kept and looked after. Some pretty amazing statues with their history as well. Now is the time to visit as it is very quiet due to no tourists thanks to Covid.
S. O.
Winter wonderland was great, had the best time. Made an entire day of it. There is something for everyone. Great food, great atmosphere
a. t.
Hyde park is beautiful as usual. There is winter wonderland now which makes funny and exciting to see it. The lights are just a different story.
D. L.
Had a lovely time, shame about the unprofessionalism of a couple of security guards towards my 14 yr old daughter.
Cirque de berserk was a great show, ice Kingdom is fantastic
D. G.
Gorgeous park that's super well kept. No trash laying about or anything. Really lovely to walk around so much greenery in the middle of Central London.
L. R.
Came here for Winter Wonderland and it was... meh... at best. It has always been expensive, but this year seemed astronomical. Most rides were £8 per person, and the prize games were almost all £3 for a single chance, with very low chance of winning anything - and if you did win, it was only a diddy toy and not the big ones hanging up to entice you. Food was also on the expensive (£12.50 for a hotdog and beer, £6 for Churos with no toppings) BUT you can get a pint of beer in the Bavarian village for £5.50 which isnt bad for London. A jagerbomb however is £9 for one!!! Ticketing system works well to reduce overcrowding, and they have enough entrances/exits to avoid any heavy queuing.
L. M.
Loveeee this place!!! I try to come every year! The variety of things you can do is great! I accidentally left my bag at the venue. Mattia and the team were extremely helpful and helped me get the bag back. I am so grateful!
S. J.
I love this park! It has so much to offer. There is lots of wildlife - ducks and geese on the serpentine lake. There are lovely fountains and I always find each time I visit I always discover something new.
R. F.
Great park for running and visiting. Please take a look on my shots on its beautiful views. Enjoy!
L. M.
Fun park indeed, I went at night. Loved the lights and how colourful the entire place was, it was an amazing night out indeed.
D. O.
Superb Park, one of the very best in London, beautiful in Summer.
C. O.
A lovely serene place filled with lovely birds. Went on a lovely sunny summer day..Perfect weather for a stroll with my lovely wife. A must visit if you are in London.
H. B. 0.
Nice big clean park .. biggish lake, food, toilet (20p required on touch card, no cash!) etc. I had a nice long walk and rested on a big bench, had my own refreshing cold drink and food. Read a few chapters of my e-book and then continued on my journey.
A. B.
Went to winter wonderland which is located in Hyde Park. The kids enjoyed the rides.
N. P.
Good festive atmosphere.
Covid spreader event as security barely glance at the vaccination/PCR records due to long queues. Small percentage of visitors only wear masks.
Ice rink was all melted and wet with puddles everywhere - come prepared!
Food and drink prices extortionate.
C. P.
This was our gateway to London. We walked through this park for nearly everywhere we went. It was Huge!! The pond full of ducks and birds. Dogs running around ans squirrels.
S. M.
Winter Wonderland - lovely selection of wonderful stalls. The fair wasn't as good as previous years though (understandable given covid), the staff working for Winter Wonderland were not very helpful and certainly won't be purchasing vouchers in advance again as most stalls said the service was down so ended up spending most of them on 2 stalls. Not very Covid safe!
H. ه.
Amazing place for all ages, it's beautiful in summer and winter 😍 my family love it, d
Today it was very cold but we enjoyed 😉.
G. S.
Nice wildlife by the water, however people tend to feed it. Also squirrels. Princess Diana's memorial fountain is nice. People also do water taxi with pedals. There are some homeless people too.
S. M.
What a fantastical christmassy place. Full of Christmas stalls, rides, games. Plenty of food stalls. Little pricey. £7 for churros. Enjoyed the ice skating. The rides
D. F.
What a beautiful place to visit when in London, people seemed to enjoy the outdoors, running, skating and ball games, walked into Kensington Gardens via waterside. Lots of wildlife there too.
T. M.
We loved this park. The colours of the foliage were breathtaking. We did not see all of the park but will be back again. Great for walks, families and photo shoots
T. K.
Amazing lakeside walkways. Perfect for a crisp autumn morning. Rent a bike services available as the park is much bigger than you’d think
a. s.
Winter wonderland was absolutely amazing..... Fantastic job... Live music... fires to stay warm great time..
K. S.
Went for Winter Wonderland during Christmas time.. awful place to enjoy different rides. Have lot of food stalls and options (including Indian food items)
G. F.
There's nowhere to hyde around here. Come, go, enjoy. Ins and outs you will realise. Because what's within these gatea is magical and you will find rejoice above expectations. What could anyone say more about this. The enjoyment shall all be yours.A lot less squirrels during the winter wonderland period.
V. T. P.
Just get better and better. Such a refreshing place for a walk, stroll, cycle, skate or whatever you could think off. Or even just to feed the duck Swan Bird 🦢 🐦 etc.
Great place to take your minds off things while in London.
N. A.
A very amazing experience, especially if you went at off peak times, there won't be too much crowd.
J. C.
Worth a visit and walk around. Plenty of nice small gardens and wild life around the lake.
a. f.
London's Central Park.
The biggest of the Royal Parks.
One could easily complete the day's 10,000 steps.
The most unique features are the multiple Princess Diana Memorials (one gets an overwhelming sense that she was truly loved by many), the many gardens and serpentine, an S shaped lake in the park which is home to many swans (many mute swans & we did see one black swan) & geese. Sadly people keep feeding the birds despite constant reminders & warnings everywhere.
Few seconds of picture perfect satisfaction for humans and potentially a lifetime of suffering for the birds.
Hyde Park is well connected by road and underground, has all the important places along it and also houses the Kensington palace.
Children will love the experience and adults will find their daily dose of tranquility.
B.
Lovely place good for exercise and enjoyed winterwonderland probably will come again sometime in future food was great too the pizza pestle and loved the german beer bravian
D. B.
Again enjoyed Winter Wonderland, because of Covid rules it was better than before...not very busy.
א. פ.
Beautiful place to take a walk on a sunny day. I had a lot of fun there! You must go there😊
R. G.
Winter wonderland is such nice place. You can enjoy lot’s of ride and lot’s options for children as well. It was such nice experience. Surely you should visit once.
K. S.
Boat riding is one of the best experiences you can get from there. It is affordable. For an hour it only cost £12. And it's worth.
a. L.
Such a lovely park. Really central so great for meet ups. Can be busy but that's okay, there's always loads going on, nice coffee shops. Just he careful with dogs off the lead as there is a bicycle track around the outside.
R.
Absolutely amazing and such great experience, very romantic and that Christmas is here.
We had a great night out, now back to hotel to have a warm bath, body heat and warm up.
J. F.
Great anytime of year, but just love this place in the summer. Hire a deck chair, relax with a bit of people watching.
Lots of other activities such as the boating lake, Princess Diana memorial and Rose Garden.
Plenty places to get an ice cream, drink or sit down meal. Great place to walk any time of the year.
c. c.
Massive park… lots of birds and you could sorbs a whole day here(if not raining)
There are currently some constructions going on at the west side.
L. S.
Hyde Park is a must for tourists who come to visit London. As a Londoner I visit Hyde Park quite often, plenty of green open space, animals, picnic spots (please take your rubbish with you once you finish), loads of activities for kids and adults. It’s the official venue of The British Summer Time. If you don’t like crowd I would suggest to go during the week rather than weekends.
Respect the beautiful trees, animals and flowers.
C.
Hyde park is an absolute amazing park, in my opinion certainly one of the best in London.😀
Breath taking scenery and it like being in a Disney land!
Lots of beautiful things to see and do. I would strongly recommend you go and see for yourself and be closer to nature!😀👍
T. a. l. i. F.
Very good walk through Hyde Park and along the Serpentine.
G. L.
Very nice park. Quite. Fresh air.
H. K.
Definitely worth a visit when in London
Easy Access from multiple tube stations
Plenty of space
Well maintained footpaths.
Coffee shops and candeens available.
Plenty of public toilets.
Superb water features and ponds (small boats for hire)
Full of swans, ducks etc
T. B.
It is one of the largest parks in central London. Anyone who visits the city, must go there and have some relaxed moments or have a good stroll. If you have any accompany or not, it attracts all types of visitors. The park has many shades depends on which entrance you are using and how far you are covering. You can be poetic or artist also if you sit down here and watch all the activities of the passers by. There are two lakes, watch the birds or go towards the palace to find some history of monarchy there. If you have a bike of your own or a rented one, just follow the path around the park. What not, it's a must visit for all Londoners and also for the first time visitors or regular ones.
It is very near to the tube stations like Hyde park corner, marble arch, bond Street and many more. There are many tfl bus routes as well. It is near the marble arch and Oxford Street. So why to take your car?
K. B.
What's to say about Hyde Park? All things to all people. Strolling, jogging, horse riding, feeding the waterfowl or hiring a pedalo on the Serpentine. Lovely big open space with lots of mature, shady trees.
D. K.
Spectacular views, you wouldn't expect that huge park in the middle of the city. A lot of attraction inside too - by summer canoes and by the winter it is a location for Winter Wonderland.
E. K.
I absolutely did not expect so much wild life and fun in a park. We brought nuts for squirrels and seeds for parrots and pigeons. And it was a great experience. Like a child instepped into a Disney-like.scene of creatiresnsurtonding me for food! Squirrels will eat out of your hands and so will birds. Amazing.! But come prepared. Parrots love dry fruit and some seeds. Squirrels will only have nuts.
Z. D.
Good day to be out enjoying the park. Sunday mornings tend to be fairly peaceful, park starts to fill up after 10am.
S. M.
So much has changed, still enjoyable. The kids had a blast. Crowd control was absolutely fabulous. Well done to the organisers and the whole team. Such a beautiful place for kids and grown ups. Definitely going again next year!!!
J. W.
Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park is amazing! It's worth to visit and have fun!
T. G.
Beautiful well kept park. A huge area to walk around including the serpentine which has lots of swans/ducks etc. Plenty of boats to hire too
I. M.
One of the best and most beautiful parks in the world. Lots to see and do especially in winter when the fair is on.
M. A.
So so pretty and big park to explore. Worthy to visit with family. Tube station all entrance we can excess so easy on transportation. There are many activities we can do and track for bicycle rides so good in summer.
v. c.
Fantastic winter wonderland, have fun, suitable for family and friends

A massive park with more to do than expected! Beautiful swans and a paddling boat ride was also available. Always nice to chill in hyde park.
A.
Amazing park, especially during the Christmas period where you can visit the winter wonderland!!!
J. W.
Lovely park that has everything for everyone, adults and children have plenty to do - A very big beautiful park in the centre of London!
N. M.
The best thing about Winter wonderland is that it's a place for all ages to enjoy together. There's plenty of exciting rides and activities for the kids, as well as a variety of food stalls that are ready to warm you up when you start to feel chilly. It's the perfect place to visit for a winter holiday!
R. P.
As always nice beautiful. Me and family spend great lovly time. Usually we are lucky and come in nice weather so we can enjoy fully all great things at park.
Walk around it is something what we also usually do but it can take long time what we love about it.
Nice people in park we never had any problems with anyone
B. S.
Beautiful place for morning walk i am very impressed that such a busy London and how this place left for fresh air ,
J. _.
Lovely place. It's amazing to have such a big park in centre London. Ideally place for picnic during the summer time. And also a good place for a day trip. Don't miss it.
J. M.
Went to winter wonderland, it was a good day out, only issue is they seem to have got rid of some of the market and made it more of a fun fair.
J. W.
Winter wonderland is fantastic for young & old, fairground rides, roller coasters. Bars & eateries & ice Kingdom.
A. B.
Winter wonderland was great again. Security could learn how to move a little faster but great apart from that.

Hello fellow Google reviews readers 👩🏻🏫 if I would have 5 + or even 6 stars ⭐️ chart, I would give it to the Hyde Park, London, UK. Well.. I have not been posted here a lot of my travel 🧳 pictures and reviews. But definitely can say that in London this place is one of the top destinations if You are searching for a calm, peaceful, recharging, full of oxygen huuuge space! 🌿🌱🍀 You will have plenty of small gardens, lakes, galleries, coffe shops, entertainment, kids playgrounds and many more for Your disposal. Happy exploring!
J. “. b.
Beautiful Place, wasn't too busy when we went Great Winderwonderland event on there. overall a great day
A. M.
P. M.
Winter wonderland in Nov-Dec is one of the largest Xmas fair in Europe. Worth the visit, due to Covid restrictions you need to book your ticket in advance. It takes several hours enjoying all the stands, games and rides!
C. K.
Love Hyde Park, such a fantastic place for a walk
A. m. A. (.
Amazing! Peaceful! Sadly some visitors they leave their trash behind! Great place to walk and to relax!
G. G.
Amazing place , lot's of activities and fun for all ages.
O. P.
It is great place to read, relax , and share your free time with someone you love ❤️
G. M.
Very nice, I love doing photographs of nature and especially now in the spring season, I have done 102 photos in just few hours. Very large, aired park, plenty of paths to walk , also you can sit down on the grass and just relax , I have spent all day there and although is not very close to my address, I will definitely go back for a walk and fresh air. I definitely recommend it !!!
m. 1.
Well controlled on entering and although it was busy it wasn't suffocatingly busy....there was room to walk around. Queues for rides seemed long but we didn't go on them. The atmosphere was great and although there is still a pandemic and you have to take precautions, everyone seemed to forget it for a short while...even wearing masks!
G. C.
Visited Hyde Park on a sunny Saturday morning. The park is an oasis in the middle of Central London. Some nutty Americans at Speaker's Corner gave Jesus talks, which was quite amusing
L. S.
Beautiful park in central location. Nice for long walks and picnics.
G. I. G.
Xmas markets fantastic food halls great fair ground really good entertainment really great spent 9 hours and didn't see it all
S. K.
Good place to pray and connect with nature and our true loving God
J. A.
Good time on the boating lake. Forgot you need to work on the pedelo 😎 but great fun.
J. F.
Great anytime of year, but just love this place in the summer. Hire a deck chair, relax with a bit of people watching. …
M. F.
Crispy breezy cold day, but it was lovely having a stroll around
R. W.
Lots of space and seating. There are toilets and a food / drink place at each side of the park (North, Z East, South, West). They are a bit expensive, but most provide a lot of seating and have variety of food and drinks available. Just …
a. L.
Such a lovely park. Really central so great for meet ups. Can be busy but that's okay, there's always loads going on, nice coffee shops. Just he careful with dogs off the lead as there is a bicycle track around the outside.
J. W.
Winter wonderland is fantastic for young & old, fairground rides, roller coasters. Bars & eateries & ice Kingdom.
c. c.
Massive park… lots of birds and you could sorbs a whole day here(if not raining) …
I.
Hyde park is amazing. Known to many as the queens park. It has Santander BIKES nearby and they are very cheap and fun. The sunset is also outstanding. An amazing place to go.
R. D.
Very large park. Seemed clean when we were there. Plenty of push bike hire around the area which I also very affordable and speeds up the amount of sites you can see if you are limited for time during your stay in London.
R. D.
Lot's of birds we can see and the view. Hyde Park is one of London’s eight Royal Parks and covers an area of 350 acres. You can enjoy swimming, boating, cycling and skating. There are pitches for team games, tennis courts, tracks for horse riding and a spectacular children's playground.
M. L.
Visited for Winter Wonderland which was probably the best it's been in years. Highly recommend it, especially as it's free during off-peak times.
I. a. P. T.
Lovely park to walk through, but all the gates were locked at 6pm so had an extra long walk back to the hotel on the 26th, even though it says closes midnight.
A. B.
London has many parks and Hyde Park may appear as 'just one of them', but saying this will do the park a disservice. It's GIGANTIC. You really need to plan ahead and wear comfy shoes. You may easily spend great 4-5h just walking around. And yes, you will enjoy it a lot!
L. S.
Beautiful park in central location. Nice for long walks and picnics.
R. M.
Finding such huge green space inside a great city is a rare luxury. I think it will be greener in spring. Can be a good picnic place for families on a sunny day.
M. J.
Great open space in the centre of London. Look out for the parrots.
B. C.
Winter wonderland was great. Some bits are a little expensive however if u shop around the stalls u can get things at a good price.
M. B.
Hyde park is a beautiful and relaxing park. There are a number of cafe’s and restaurants dotted around and you’ll never be short of places to get ice cream. The Serpentine Lake in the middle of the park is beautiful with a large variety of birds. We had a go at the peddle boats on the lake which was great fun.
G. I. G.
Xmas markets fantastic food halls great fair ground really good entertainment really great spent 9 hours and didn't see it all
H. H.
Cute place to walk through or jog around. You might bumped into a fox, parakeet, or swan. There's so many nooks to the park to explore and makes a great date spot during the Summer.
S. B. B.
Winter Wonderland is hosted in Hyde Park every year at Christmas time. Hyde Park is a large and famous park located in the centre of London with different areas to it. It has a bar, the Diana memorial, a beautiful rose garden and more. The park is always busy. And there always seems to be someone in Speakers Corner using the corner to protest about something or to discuss the issues of the day with strangers.
T. D.
Stunning views! It's a good place to unwind, be at one with nature. Plenty of places to sit or just nestle on the grass if you want. It's one of the loveliest places to visit in the city of London. Just walking the length and breadth of it is satisfying...
A. H.
Great place. Shame about the market stalls repeating throughout the venue
B. T. Y.
Fantastic place for running enthusiasts. 🏃🏻♂️ Trails among wooden structures 🪵 ideal for early morning runs before sunrise when it’s still dark. Crossing over the lake feels always relaxing. 😎
E.
Such an amazing park. Family, friends, alone, whatever the time of day, it’s relaxed, clean and oh so wonderfully beautiful.
D. B.
Winter Wonderland was great!!!! Food was delicious!! A must see!
R. C.
Perfect park to be lost and have a quiet time alone or with friends. Use to be clean and well-kept. Wonderful lap for runners and cycles!
K. K.
I missed Hyde Park winter wonderland! Lots of fun year2021.
T. A. T.
Had such a fun time here. Lots to enjoy.
J. S.
Amazing park! Hyde Park is the largest of all Royal Parks. The park was created by Henry VIII in 1536 taking the land from Westminster Abbey to use it as a hunting ground. It opened to the public in 1637. Several duels took place in Hyde Park in the past. The Great Exhibition of 1851 was held in the park, for which The Crystal Palace was built. The Speaker’s Corner on the park is famous worldwide as a point of free speech. In winter it hosts the popular Winter’s Wonderland.
K. H.
I have been to this Exceptionally Beautiful and Glorious Park before. I would recommend everybody in the Whole World to come and visit this Exceptionally Beautiful Park. Hyde Park is definitely worth visiting all year round but it is especially worth visiting Hyde Park in Summer when the Weather is Lovely and Warm. Hyde Park is one of my favourite Parks in the Whole of London.
F. G.
Absolutely beautiful and magnificent park
You can spend a lot of time here enjoying the wildlife and the view
E. K.
Beautiful sunset 🌻🌇 really worth it if you want to chill after work or on days off. The place is huge, you can walk for hours if you're in the mood.
M. Ç. N.
An excellent park, one of the topmost in Europe. Located right at the heart of the city, you can easily spend an entire day there. Very clean, pet friendly environment. Easy to access from multiple underground points. Take your picnic blanket and enjoy the green area or the lake view. That park is a gem in London and has a lot to offer.
W. R.
Love the winter wonderland every year, such a great time. Amazing food, rides and drinks to try
V. M.
Amazing place to visit, very very expensive but was a lovely festive one of treat.
I. O. G.
One of the greatest park in London, Highly recommended.
A. O.
Lovely park with large green space, clean and loads of trees for shade. Lovely lake and restaurant.
A. K.
A beautiful park in the center of London, the setting of many a surreal and enlightening conversation
R. W.
Not the best season for Hyde Park, it has been much prettier. Only here for the winter wonderland.
C. G.
Beautiful park, great for run or read a book. See the nature ❤️🙂
F. T.
One of the best parks in Central London for picnicking. Conveniently located near several tube stations and with a huge pond in the middle. Lots to explore in this lovely park, including many famous statues, a lovely cafe and great views of London. There's also a few paying toilets, but luckily they've just recently added a card reader, so even if you don't have 20p in cash, you can still use the toilet!
I.
Beautiful area. Women are able to gather at Speakers Corner and speak freely without fear of being attacked by the T. Lobby.
D. A.
We went to the winter wonderland which was amazing. A fun place for all the family. Great Zippos Circus tent, the magical ice kingdom was spectacular and to top it off the rides at the fair suited everyone. Although it is expensive to go, it well worth it. My boys had a wonderful time.
P. H. L. H.
Very nice place to walk, cycke or just sit around the greens. Not many places in big cities can one find such spacious , safe and relaxing environment whereby one can just enjoy the solitude, or hang out with friends and families. Good for walk, exercise, meditation, reading, soaking in the fresh air, gazing at the sculptures..
and whatever one wishes to do on his own.
B. S.
Wonderful experience for winter wonderland. Amazing place to go.
S. S.
Another year and another visit to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland which didn't disappoint
M. “. U.
Loved this park- lots of green space and trees. A lovely lake with boating. Bike hire available too to cycle on wide, well marked cycle routes.
K. M.
I absolutely love this park. So blessed to live super close, so I walk there for hours, nearly every day. The rose garden area is lovely. I wish I had discovered it sooner. The Italian gardens are also beautiful. It has a few lovely little cafes. My favorite is the one the one by the Serpentine Lido.
S. A.
We often come here and we love it. Beautiful park
Y. A.
My family and I went to Winter Wonderland and we have an amazing time, it was very well organised
M. (.
A great but slightly expensive attraction Had a very Christmassy Experience
Y. A.
A very beautiful place, calm and beautiful nature
A. W.
Lovely walk around The Serpentine and memorial.
B. S.
I recommend going at sunrise on a clear day, it's beautiful and no crowds.
S. L.
I came here to visit the shooting spots of the Bollywood movie 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', and I was mesmerized by the beauty and amazing fresh atmosphere at the Park.
Most notable shooting spots were the Marble Arch and the Horse Head statue used in the song 🎵 "Saans" from the movie.
L. A.
Great place for a walk, I've been coming here for different events ever since I was young. It's an iconic place in London.
A. B.
So much what to do in the park can spend all day there
L. G.
The Park is great to make your exercises. Walk a little. But this time we been there to visit an event called Winter Wonderland. A carnival fair full of great attractions, good food and good beer.
M.
Amateur/aspiring ornithologists in the London area MUST stop by The Serpentine in Hyde Park! Saw some of the most enchanting swans, pigeons, ducks, and geese here!
J. G. S.
Such a nice park to have a lovely walk around and have a good day. We loved the vibes around and had a nice Sunday afternoon, will definitely be back here to have more!
P. P.
Hyde park lovely park to go on picnic with the friend or family. If you are tired of shopping on Oxford Street you can walk a little bit more and relax there. It has public toilet and you can access there by different underground lines and buses.
R. s.
Lovely park in the middle of the city. Great buzz and mix of people
W.
A heaven for squirrels and the rose garden is filled with beautiful flowers. It was especially nice during the summer. The seagulls and birds may poop on you if you walk to close to the pond in the middle. Walk further out on the grass to avoid that. Nonetheless, favorite park in London.
R. V.
A beautiful part of London, Hyde park is a must visit location. Calm, serene and full of life and freshness, it is a great place for a picnic or have a relaxing walk with friends. I also suggest you visit the lake within the park.
G. M.
Great park, plenty to do. The centre is where it's at its quietest. The Italian Gardens is also delightful. The stretch along Park Lane is always heavily utilised for one thing after another, so best used only as a walking through route.
م. ا. ع.
Winter Wonderland is going on, and I enjoyed it so much! I would also really love to go here more because I really enjoy the nice views and extraordinary rides we go on WinterWonderland! The place seems so chill, and calm and relaxing, walking along the pavement whilst a cool breeze comes along your body. I really enjoy this place and I would 💯come here a lot often!
D. M.
Such a lovely park in central London. A lovely place to walk through to access other areas of London such as Buckingham Palace, Marble Arch, Queensway etc. Has so many stunning sites, great for families, dog owners, children, everyone! Stunning all year round.
B. B.
I'm living nearby so kind of regular.
Nice Park with car parks.
Typical annoying breathless running people often mix up with those brainless bicycle boyracers 🚲🏃♀️😣
But
Some secret nights the Queen herself drives in the park 👑
s. k. t.
Had a pleasant time and felt good 😊
J. W.
An amazing place. Great for walks, runs and cycling. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. I went on a dull day but still enjoyed it.
B. M.
Lovely park with lots of space and the boating lake really adds to it as well. Not much else to say. Lovely park, nice and clean. Overall 5 stars.
C. D.
Went to visit Winter wonderland. Hyde Park very lovely and clean. Very dark at night. The lights that are there are aesthetically pleasing but useless in seeing anything. Don't know if some solar panels ground lights would be good there
J. v. D.
So far the most beautiful park in London that I've visited. First of all it it's humongous, plenty of space to walk around and second, there is a wide variety of wild life (for London that could be considered wild indeed). If you want to go on a stroll, make a run or just look around for some squirrels, go check out Hyde park if you haven't already.
M. R. (.
Very nice place but nevertheless it is just a park good for vibes but would not recommend if you're actually looking for something to do. However there is a pleasant experience on the paddle boat.
S. S.
Awesome day out with friends. Easy to get too by public transport or car. Toilet facilities and cafes nearby.
D. M.
Fabulous space ALL year round!😎 If you want to forget the noise of city life, slowdown and relax for a moment in the tranquility of this beautiful Royal Park ❤
A. H.
Nice park. Lots of birds and bird waste around the lake, though.
P. F.
A beautiful park to invest at least 2 hours getting to every corner of it. So many scenarios to portray! Loved it and the area it’s really nice as well!
R. S.
Busy but it was Christmas time the family loved the winter wonderland...
s. j. V.
Winter wonderland
It was beautiful enjoyed alot
H. C.
Do many wonderful trees! Lots of wildlife on and off the water. Delightful to walk through the park on a sunny day.
J. f.
Great place for walking around and admiring the views.
R. P.
My first time to the Winter Wonderland Event and I must say it was fantastic!
Loads of funfair games and stalls plus amazing eats and treats, a great atmosphere and fun for all ages!
C. Y.
Excellent park and setup for a lovely and long walk. So easily accessible by tube and other public transport means, and in the very middle of the city.
R. ..
Amazing beautiful & peacefully place ❤
L. K.
What an astonishing oasis. There is so much here to take in. The park is maintained so well, plenty to see and do there. We enjoyed feeding the birds or sans to picnicking.
As a child we would imagine the park, it’s so big and thriving with life, it's more beautiful than I imagined.
The monuments like Peter Pan and Diana’s Memorial Fountain are beautiful and historical to boot.
As a teenager, I would see Madonna running through the park in Smash Hits, so I did a little jog in her honour! I need another full day to get more out of this one park. It has so much to offer. Enjoy the food, the views and the entertainment.
D. V.
The venue of Winter wonderland. You will not dissappoint. a must visit this christmas season.
A. S.
Hyde Park has the most beautiful energy. It's full of wildlife and its clean. The people mind their own business and the whole place feels calm. Really one of my favourite places to take photos and have a picnic.
J. B.
I couldn't get a good luck at the park because it was night time and I was just passing through to go to winter wonderland. There aren't many lighted areas so visibility is very low and dark which doesn't inspire safety
S. C.
Hyde park is lovely, plenty of open space to enjoy comfortably. Liked the Winter Wonderland but felt anxious that, even though it was outdoors, so many people were around in close proximity not wearing masks.
t.
It's the best park on London and if you'll allow my biased opinion, Europe. Playing football or horse riding are available. If you like to see flowers, they have a great selection as well. Also if you have a looking for a lazy day at the lake, that's possible as well.
M. a.
Such a wonderful park ❤
I. L.
It was magical and much better than 5 years ago. It's great to get back to some normality and I do think people should still be wearing their masks as this virus isn't going away in a hurry. People are in queues and are on top of each other.
The hard plastic flooring is excellent for walking on.
It's great a great day out for all ages.
S. h.
Spring experience. It's a completely gorgeous park with so much to do and see. From giant memorial statues to water gardens, cafes, fountains, river, lake. Its beautiful maintained and has a bustling atmosphere. Lots of public toilets which you can use contact less payment to access and therefore kept at a high standard. There is princess diana memorial foundation, Peter Pan statue, italian water gardens. A plethora of ducks, swans and geese. Loads of squirrels and birds. Its also a safe area.
J. J.
It's a peaceful park in the middle of the city. Come here to escape from the city life and to be engulfed in the nature with the wildlife.
L. D.
Been here a few times but have just spotted another water lake area with a neighbouring cafe and coffee place, the vast greenery allows for a great space for sports and picnics
We saw, volleyball, football, rollerblading, roller skates, horses, cyclists, even saw some beautiful ducks and their babies
On the west side of the park we caught a strong wind but as we walked north it was quite warm and calm
B. M.
Hyde Park is a large central London park with a large boating lake, the Serpentine. There are also some nice gardens in the South- East corner of the park. However, Hyde Park, pales in to insignificance compared to Kensington Gardens, right next to Hyde Park on the opposite side of the road, which divides them. Kensington Gardens is far more beautiful with more attractions, like the Italian Fountains and Peter Pan statue.
M. H.
Winter wonderland great night out with friends yesterday evening
J. R.
Winter wonderland is a must visit. I stumbled upon this place on an evening walk - believe it or not. Its easy to feel you are in a different world altogether. Love this place! It has been a few years now, but the beauty of this place never ceases to amaze me! If you are a pet lover, bird lover, nature lover or just somebody, it’s one place you can count on to make you feel better always!
J. L.
Great park. Very big and lots to do. You can exercise on the many paths around the park. Maybe just lay down on a green huge field. There is a memorial for princess Diana ND is quite relaxing and nice. The main lake had a bunch of ducks and geese apparently well treated. You have the possibility of "boat riding" on the lake. Anyway, there is a lot to check and enjoy on this great park, near many restaurants, stores and touristic spots.
P. S.
Good park! Very nice view
M. P.
Such a gorgeous place! The grounds and vibe are beautiful and it’s a must do in London
C. D.
Love the place...! Green n serene... Picturesque..
I. R.
Super fun in winter wonderland
E. Z.
Is beautiful place. Be aware the park is very big even is twice smaller then New York’s Central Park, but you can spend hours in summer time or autum. Lot lot of beautiful flowers, birds I would advice to be careful with ducks and swans, animals, few big ponds, can spend hours and hours by exploring or have a picnic, have a drink or ice cream as few cafes around, boat renting which we enjoyed a lot . Is nice day to spend with company or to read a book.
P. F.
many attractions for children and adults and good cuisine
D. H.
Always a treat visiting Hyde Park.
I swam in the Serpentine.
Brr, it was cold!
M. T.
A beautiful park that offers all you need to have a nice picnic or relax and have good time with friends or family
J. R.
Quite nice, during winter it is a bit bland due to the leafless trees
Y.
A wonderful royal park - free to public. Absolutely beautiful. Lovely in summer. Great for running and strolls. A essential landmark for all visitors to see.
P. B.
Took a walk every morning, was glorious. People jogging and walking thier dogs amongst fantastic gardens, fountains, lakes and trees . Hard to believe sometimes I was in the middle of London.
S. P.
It's very big and good for children activity to there.
T. N.
I love this park...The toilet was clean and tidy. Loved the boat ride.
L. S.
Ok, good and bad things as always with my reviews, lets start with bad, princessess, kings, queens (statues, waterfalls and similar things) etc have no right to be in public common peoples parks, they should be in museums and similar things, we live in 21st century not medieval times. Public restrooms are not free, if we pay taxes we should be able to get a free clean toilets 🚻. The good things, well its a huge park in center of megapolis, people enjoying life on rollerskates, dancing 🎶, sunbathing. Birds 🐦 animals free and playful. Everything is as it should be with all kind of people geting along in one park.
A.
Always so much tp explore with the beautiful serpentine lake bringing amazing sunsets. There's also lots of bike paths to go on!
J. E.
Great place to get away from the crowds and enjoy the open spaces London has to offer.
S. F.
The most amazing park in London. Full of nature and animals.
Excellent place to do a picnic, relax, walk around, exercise.
It’s big and beautiful.
One of my favorite places in the city.
S. R.
Beautiful green park with amazing view.
M. R.
Huge area, surprisingly (for me) quite crowded for a cold damp Saturday morning in January. Great for people/dog watching and getting run over by bicycles if you get on the wrong paths!
A. W.
The park.itself beautiful as ever. Winter wonderland a bit of a disappointment, looks very sparkly but not a lot of content unless you like a fair ground. Ice sculptures were brilliant. Manchester Christmas markets way better
S. Q.
2021 Winter Wonderland is bigger than ever with lots of rides. Checked Covid passes. Lots of places to eat and drink. Best to go early afternoon to avoid the crowds.
R. B.
Winter wonderland was absolutely amazing, me and my family had an epic time, the circus was brilliant, the fun fair rides were awesome! The German Market is excellent and loads better and bigger than the Birmingham one. Well done hydes park, we will be back next year
M. A. R.
Amazing park. Good for exercising and walk. Its more beautiful in summer since there are lots of activities and kids things.
I have been during winter of most of the activities were closed.
j. v.
Hyde Park is a must visit if you are in London. Feeding the ducks here was such a pleasure. It rained and I ended up getting soaked because I did not carry an umbrella but did not mind as I got to see a rainbow for the first time. 😀😍🌈
D. T.
So much green space, right in the heart of London, Serpentine is fabulous and the walks are kept clean and very welcoming, the mound at Marble Arch is lovely and gives you a birds eye view of the surrounding landscape for miles on a clear day.
Speakers corner entertaining but can be threatening with many preaching the only way in life is to be Muslim, lots of jostling between different people with different views, uncomfortable at times.
D. L.
Swimming and boating lake, paths for pedestrians, cycles and horses. Cafes and lots of space.
B.
Beautiful and has boat rides and a playground and a horse track. Very beautiful
L. A.
Beautiful place to relax, great for a walk or a picnic.
L. H.
Great urban park. Lots of eating places. Love the Serpentine.
c. p.
Visiting Winter Wonderland with family...all adults...daughters went ice skating which they enjoyed but expensive, especially for the amount of time they had...Wonderland itself consists of massively overpriced food stands (£7 for cheesy 🍟 chips, £7 for chocolate cheroes!) Fair ground type stands, beer tents and larger rides...very quiet when we visited on Christmas 🎄 Eve...told the women's toilets were disgusting...be aware, everything was really expensive - hope its more fairly priced next year or I'd not come back.
S. A.
Enjoyed Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park. Better signage to get to different sections of wonderland would have been helpful. Circus Berserk was great!
F.
Visited the Winter Wonderland attractions located in the iconic wide open space of Hyde Park, one of the famous Royal parks located in Central London. Ideal for a quiet stroll away from the hustle and bustle of London's West End.
J. O.
Beautiful park. Lovely to watch the squirrels running around and the princess Diana memorial garden is great fun for the kids.
V. B.
One of most famous parks in England.
An amazing park in the middle of London which is beautiful throughout the year.
Great place to jog, run, cycle and of course walk and relax.
S. M.
Go see it for yourself amazing place to go with your family for a day 🙏😃👏🏴
N. M.
Lovely seeing people relaxing & living!
D. D.
So beautiful and so peaceful. If you go there I would recommend going to the lake maybe feeding the ducks. Or seeing the horses and the smell of nature. I would a 100% recommend to go here.
M. H.
My favorite place to go on a sunny day.
Feeding the swans and the ducks, and the squirrels makes you so feel so good 😊
j. b.
Park is great but don't go to the winter wonder land it's a not worth the money. Prepayed for the ice slide when we got there told its not worth the queueing as the park would be shut before we got to the front. No refund but was told that the money would be refunded to my account how ??? Rip off. Bought tickets for the games all of a sudden the ticket machine was broken but you can pay cash or card would never go back
o.
It is a very nice park, with lots of squirrels and crows u can feed. There are several internal historical monuments and memorials to Queen Victoria, King Albert and Princess Diana, and u can also enter in the Kensington palace and have a not very cheap tea with some others who like u want to know how could it be being a member of the royal family (who I guess wouldn't like too much being having tea at Hyde park, but this is another story). At the north of the park there is also a playground for children
P. B.
Its a pitty to see masks and dirt throwned at this wonderful park. No manners neither consideration! A lot of hours are needed to keep it clean. So much ignorance!
S. L.
What a great day at winter wonderland. Great food, attractions were brilliant.
T.
One of the best parks ever. It’s huge, it has a dope vibe.
I would put more benches in the park tho.
W. H.
Went to winter wonderland as a family and had a lovely time during the day time hours, gates were well staffed but the numbers as we left started to feel very busy.

Can’t fault Hyde Park in central london. A must for every tourist who visits the city. London bikes are a great way to explore Hyde park if one is short of time. However please be respectful of tracks where cyclists are requested to dismount. Handy tip, take some frozen peas (most people take bread which isn’t healthy as it helps multiply rats in the area) from one of the Tesco’s on Knightsbridge so you can enjoy feeding the swans and ducks.

Lovely place to spend some quiet time, in the middle of London

Very big and beautiful park in London. Such a beauty in the middle of the city. There is paid public bathroom (£ 0.20) using contactless.

One of London's very famous and massive parks, fitted with an Italian garden and a statue of Peter Pan. Perhaps a little controversially though, I think I prefer Regent's Park! Perhaps my experience of Hyde Park was ruined a bit by rain that started to fall quite hard, so while trying to clutch my umbrella and not poke someone's eye out, I wasn't able to properly appreciate the park. Hyde Park is a little more 'wild' compared with Regent's Park; the grass has been allowed to grow very high in some places; possibly because the ground dips quite steeply in places and it's not so easy to run a mower over it. My favourite part of Hyde Park when walking along the outer edge of the park was the smell of hay due to the horse riding lessons that happen around the park.

Crispy breezy cold day, but it was lovely having a stroll around
R. D.
One of the key places that make London so magical.
J. R.
Got to see this on the second to last day. It was so much better then I expected. The light from all the rides make for amazing photos. Love entertainment was very good and had lots of seating available. The only down side was the price of time of the rides seemed a little much. But overall was a lovely evening.
S. L.
Beautiful, walking through green space with lovely flowers.
M. W.
Winter wonder land!! Pop up park at christmas time. Amazing, massive park to visit at christmas time with loads of bars, theme park rides and games! Always very very busy as people from all over the uk go to the park. The “fun houses” are very good however I don’t recommend doing the ice skating as it is very very busy most of the time.
N. J.
Best green place in the middle of London. It is huge and refreshing. This park is witness to many historical event. I can visit this place any number of times ...

A setting of Serenity in central london.

Really nice park, quiet , different places to see
Very Good place to relax !!!!

There is always such much to see! Just yesterday - a reporter doing a story in front of the Serpentine Gallery, A Black Swan, and many many varieties of birds. Great people watching, too!
I. O.
Great experience with friends or love ones.
E. S.
Had an amazing day! We really enjoyed renting a paddle boat. Lots of nice views and places to walk. So many swans! Which I absolutely LOVE! And they had a black swan which was amazing.

An amazing part of London to explore. The park is vast, with added greenery to the city and an escape with nature. Great for a day out, a run, a picnic, 'Al Fresco', etc. or just a walk through the park to get to anywhere else in London.
r. j. r.
As beautiful as any country park. Fabulous
trees. Lovely lake. Great gardens. Perfect for
fun, families, walkers and sports enthusiasts.
Many thanks to all those who maintain these
amazing London spaces. Easy access.
A. M.
I've been here for Winter Wonderland, with my kids, it was a very nice experience, but.......I really don't get it, why do I have to prebook for entering and why you check me for greenpass covid, when nobody doesn't respect any rule. It's the same queue for all ( vaccinated or not, not keep distance at all and nobody is wearing mask ). 5 stars for entertainment and 1 star for organization.

Incredible park in the heart of London! I loved exploring all the nooks and crannies and the little hidden gems like the Peter Pan statue (which you should definitely check out) and the Princess Diana memorial. The park is huge and has plenty of room to stretch out. Great place to go for a walk or have a picnic 😊👍
j. w.
The best green spot in the city. Amazing! Loved having a coffee by the water.
P. A.
Fantastic place to relax and enjoy a wonderful day. There are so many corners to discover.
J. Z.
Cool and calm! Enjoyed it.
Restaurants, toilets etc are available.
You can enjoy pedal boat service.
H. K.
Good park to walk through when on a trip through London. A short walk from Oxford Street means this can be a welcome break from a day of shopping or window shopping. There are often a number of events that take place here so sometimes you might not be able to gain access to the entire park.
R. M.
Beautiful, clean, quiet the grass is thick and healthy and multiple paths for wheelchairs, strollers, and bikers seem respectful and keep to their own lanes.
Have thoroughly enjoyed a few runs: Lap around Serpentine is ~2mi itself and easy to follow or tack on some more by taking outer paths. Interior paths are quiet, outer paths adjacent to lots of car traffic.
G. T. G.
Speaker's corner, cast green space, lovely trees, the serpentine waters. It's Hyde Park, you know it's good
S. D.
It is a huge park, where you can find playgrounds, little Caffe, lakes, a diversity of birds and fox if you are lucky. Horse and bike riding, and runner. Each season show the beauty in Hyde Park.
F. R. P.
Winter wonderland busy but great
J. H.
Not a big fan of Hyde park. It's a large green space, which is great, but the grass is often ruined from big musical gigs or other Wonderlands. Also heaps of people. London has many nicer parks...
On the other hand, if you buy some nice snacks at Harrods and head to the Kensington gardens side of park, then it's not that bad :)
D. H.
Among the best places to relax with a squirrel in London.
I. W.
Absolutely amazing place, went here at the end of January, and was still a fantastic place to visit, can spend hours wondering this park, and if you need a rest, a lovely little cafe is situated here.
Wildlife in abundance here, and very friendly if you want to feed them, ducks, geese, swans, squirrels.
Will definitely come back here, but may wait till the summer.
D. U.
Huge array but most of it includes food stalls, shopping, and rides you have to pay for...
A. Y.
Probably one of the best parks in the world, it’s amazingly huge. You can see natural beauties, squirrels, swans, birds, ducks as well as many trees and flowers. You should see there especially when flowers bloom!
R. A.
Beautiful large clean park.
The children loved it so much and enough trees with shade, space for everyone.
We felt safe there too.
We queued for hours to use toilets and most were not in use so opted for the disabled one.
So many buses stop by incase you get tired and want to go home.
G. S.
This is beautiful quite outside in London. You will see birds and ducks coming closer to you. That are very friendly. Must go during daylight.
P. C.
I visited Hyde Park apart of the Winter Wonderland event that they have on from November to January this is the fourth time that I have visited this event over the last 4 years, this year I visited very early in the day so it was much quieter unfortunately in the morning the card machines was not working and there were only taking cash which I didn't have at the time after about half an hour the card machines were back up and running which allowed us to ride some of the rides. I feel they could do a lot more with the Christmas markets. it seems like they only sell the same things which also can be seen around Leicester Square area and Trafalgar Square christmas markets.
M. H.
Like all the Royal parks Hyde Park is a lovely place to explore in Central London. It covers a vast area with lots of walks and wildlife to see on the Serpentine
J. P. (.
Beautiful open park. Great space
B. A.
My loveliest park in London 💛 I love to come on a weekly basis to enjoy my time here! I also got to know and socialized with many people visiting the park as well. Such a lovely place! 😍
J. C.
The park its really nice, the ambient around there specially now with the winter wonderland on it is optimum for a family day out, wide spaces to:
have picnics (not very recommended now with the cold unless you are one of the brave ones)
To jogging with friends to teach your kids how to ride a bike or with rolers skating plus it allows you to see beutiful sunsets 🌇

Winter wonderland visit in all it's glory
R. H.
Great for kids and Young Adults. Expensive average 5€ per person per ride. Busy- Nutella & Strawberry Crepes - delicious! Steak and Chips from the vendor Barbecue & Steak 👍🏻
L. W.
Huge park to explore with lots of different areas. There is a large lake with lots of birds and wildlife. Home to the serpentine gallery, Kensington palace and many points of interest. Really worth a visit
P. P.
It's nice, but always very busy... there was some big gathering and police didn't do anything. I guess Covid rules are not enforced ..
M. A.
It's my favourite park closest to the city. You can cycle and/or walk. I recommend both. There are tube stations surrounding it so easy connection and a great way to get into center without going through the city and the traffic. Also great for running.
F.
Such a beautiful, peaceful and romantic place.. Right out of a novel. Could sit here for hours reading a book, watching the birds or just a nice walk. It's a great place for a good run. Best to walk through Hyde Park to reaching other close by tourists destinations like Buckingham
S.
Massive Park. Safe even during lockdown. Easy to keep here social distance. Don't use electric scooter, police will catch and give you a fine.
J. N.
Winder Wonderland - Amazing experience! Lots of food and drinks but make sure to bring a few more quid than usually, can be pretty expensive. Worth every penny though i promise. On average price per ride is £6.
Q. R.
There is a great place to visit with family and friend all the time
M. C.
Great time at Winter Wonderland
S. K.
Good place to pray and connect with nature and our true loving God
陈.
Very nice park and I visited the winter Wanderland. It was so good, there are lots of street food, markets inside and also exciting rides/family rides in the winter Wanderland. An amazing place for all ages and even for dogs. The park is also lovely and there are lot of small animals, like squirrel, different kinds of birds, duck and goose, fox. Here you will feel the fresh air and the nature!
M. R.
This is a fantastic and huge park in the very heart of London. It has lots of different tree species, fountains, lakes and places to just seat, relax and enjoy. It's very well maintained and it's also great for jogging or just casual walk to appreciate its beauty. An absolute must go at any season of the year.
L. J.
Great park in the middle of all the best parts of London. Lovely in summer but also for walks in winter.
A. C.
Love this green space in the City, i always underestimate how much space is there and how well maintained it is :) love seeing the squirrels and all the birds and its magical at winter wonderland Christmas time. also very handy to have the Santander bikes there.
A. P.
Lovely place to visit and have an awesome day strolling around. The green areas are beautiful, the swans and ducks in the lake fill you of joy and the feeling of freedom is rewarding. I recommend going in summertime, it's a safe place and you can have a bite at the lido centre.
The Princess Diana memorial fountain is a meeting point for children, who enjoy the waterworks while parents can rest in the gardens or under the trees. It's a long walk, but a very rewarding one.
A. R. K.
Excellent place to relax and for fresh air. Variety of food stalls/shops are available within 1 mile distance and it's a family friendly place.
D. H.
The best place in the world to have a walk
E. S.
It's one of the largest parks in London and possibly the world. Lots of green spaces and well taken care of. There are some cafe's around the park but not too intrusive to the general relaxed atmosphere. There are some easy water activities on the lake to enjoy. Toilets are available in different areas in the park but you may have to walk some distance to reach them. Cycling is allowed in clearly marked paths.
A. S.
One of my favorite place in London. Absolutely recommended for a visit. You can walk, run, sit, sleep, anything you like in this park. Quiet spacious area covered. Ducks, squirrels and Swans were absolutely adorable. Lots of locals, as well as the tourists. Lots of shops, restaurants and bars around the park. Enjoy Hyde Park
T. C.
Amazing dog walk and natural with history
B. L. S.
Nice place to relax. Huge field of grass carpet and trees, awesome place. I had been to this park with my wife, elder brother, sister-in-law and nephew in February, 2020.
s. b.
Awesome place you can relax your mind here
J. B.
Beautiful large central London park, you can spend a whole day wandering around the serpentine ( beware of low flying birds), or visiting the serpentine galleries. Hire boats, cafés and visit Peter Pan sculpture, and of course the Princess Diana memorial fountain, plus Swimming in the lido 👍
B. G.
We visited for Winter Wonderland and we loved it
I. S.
Best place to be in London when the weather starts warning up. It's lush and gorgeously green, not too busy most of the time, and loads of sunny spots to sit and chill
I. G.
Had a wonderful time at winter Wonderland here,. Lots to do, particularly recommend buy ice and the Bavarian market for a wide selection of food items and a great experience. Fun for all the family, only would say quite expensive but that's to be expected in London.
p. w.
Winter wonderland is well worth going too. Brilliant fun
E. S.
Went to winterwonderland with my 19 year old daughter and my 9 month old son. Lots to keep both entertained. Very overpriced but we expected that. Santa was free to visit but photos were £15 each and very poor quality. Had a great day out though, good food and beverage selection, friendly staff and well organised.
s. R.
Hyde Park was brilliant.. I was feeding parrotts. I kept nut in my hand, raised it little bit high. Parrott stood in my hand & ate it for 2 mins.. brilliant
K.
Lovely big park with loads of areas to walk to and explore! Lovely eateries dotted around the park. Loads of birds that are all friendly as well as the squirrels who will literally eat peacefully out your hand!
M. P.
Hyde Park is London's Central Park.
It is very known for several reasons, from holding huge concerts from really good artists, such as Queen, the Stones, Eric Clapton or Pink Floyd, to also being the place where the annual London's Winter Wonderland is held (until the Covid stopped it). A true gem, specially for the lockdown walks.
F. E.
A lovely place to visit for the day with places to eat right on the waterfront.
I. J.
Such a beautiful and impressive park. So much land and space for everyone to walk around and take in all the historical statues and landmarks. Great place to visit and a must when you are in London.
d. r.
Fantastic day out it's a special place for me because we was the one's that made the 7/7 memorial I'd not seen it in situation till then feel so proud and emotional at the same time Rip to the 52 souls lost
A. S.
It’s huge park to walk around .... cycling will be better if you don’t want to walk around ... if you want to do exercise like running, this is a good place and you can also relax to enjoy the sun... Love this place. You can have relax on the park carry your own food, wine and so on ... Well it’s recommended for all ages ;)
R. R.
Although it was good, I felt not as good as 2 years ago when it was Christmas Carol theme.
T. H. K.
This is the most famous park in London. It is actually Zuge marvelous and you can walk there for half a day. In the Center of this Park there is the Serpentine/Serpentine River, which is a lovely lake.
Unfortunately there aren’t that many options for eating. There are one or two restaurants/cafes but mostly there is just nature. But to be honest this park is far to big to give statements which count for the whole of the park.
The different areas are quite different, so make your own experience.
D. m.
Winter Wonderland never disappoints, easy access for all, rides can be expensive but it's only once a year, all kinds of eateries, drinks, so much to see and do, we go before 12pm to avoid queues once 4pm hits it gets very packed.
A. D.
Very beautiful park. The swans in the lake are a major attraction. It dimly lit at night so you might want to get out before dusk.
S. A.
Loved winter wonderland. Great atmosphere
m. M.
Very big very busy a lot of things to do and look at book in advance if you can for the attractions if not you can buy your ride tokens there. Great Christmas cabins selling all things seasonal great visit
F. A.
Great scape from the busy city. Very huge park with a main lake where you can feed the ducks or rent a boat for ride. Otherwise rent a bicycle for a quick ride around the park. There are few kiosks for coffee, ice cream and snacks. Also some restaurants. Toilets are available for 20 pennies and they are clean.
A. S.
Set right in the heart of London, Hyde Park offers both world-class events and concerts all at the same place plus it’s a wonderful place to relax, jogging, walking and observing ducks & nature. It’s just beautiful. 350 acres area. Enjoy warm coffee & sit with friends or family.
S. P.
Beautiful place to spend time peacefully! Gardens, Lakes, Swans... Pleasant atmosphere. Extended to a large area with mind-blowing landscapes and greeneries. Fresh air and cool atmosphere. Can spend a whole day relaxing here. This can be a very spiritual place as well. Not much crowded.
D. P.
Beautiful park, full of nice things for the entire family
A. H. S.
What a beautiful place for londoners and visitors to relax and admire natural beauty. Huge green space within city centre includes horse riding, cycling and running tracks. Houses vast variety of flowers and many kids play areas. A large lake in midst of park is best part of the park from where you can hire boats to enjoy self rowing.
L. P. E.
The best place for a walk in Central London

My favourite place to go in london
Beautiful balance between nature and urban life..
My favourite place to run away from the city building forest.
I Love the contact with the animals, squirrels the ducks and swans; lay down on the grass and enjoy a bath of sun rays, the trees.
K. G.
Amazing place , I never thought Hyde park was this big. It’s full of things to do , and the sunsets are amazing.
J. D.
Fabulous park. Lots of areas to walk around. People seemed to be just enjoying walking around. Flowers were still nice and leaves turning red for autumn. Would recommend.
P. S.
Visited Sunday 22nd August. Lovely weather and lots of visitors enjoying and behaving themselves. Good selection of eateries and ice cream places. Big gathering of people doing dance routines on roller skates, great to watch. Very tidy and clean.
T. M.
Lovely park. Amazing wildlife for Central London. Lots to do and plenty of space. Lot's of statues and memorials.
S. K.
Lovely place for a weekend run, picnic, dog walk, book read. The park is truly fun and quite massive. There's a lot to do and a definite recommendation for those rare sunny days that you get every so often. You could easily spend a whole day here. There are several places to get a bite to eat or some coffee nearby as well.
K.
Magnificent park, one of my favorite spot in central London, full of history and wild life. Great place for excise and any other health activities 👍
D. C.
Pretty good. A bit pricey, but a good day out
M. d. O. V.
It’s a beautiful park in the heart of London. If you’ve got time, you could spend days there. There are cafes, food trucks, deck chairs and lots of space to relax. For the kids there are several playgrounds and many squirrels.

Beautiful park in center of the London it's is a very relaxing place though there will be massive number of people's but still you will find a peaceful area to sit and enjoy the fresh air. It's a very huge park so, there's a lot to explore like boatings and bars and many more I would love to go there in summer days because there will be a beautiful flowers all around.

M. M.
A pleasant 30 minutes walk from Trafalgar to Hyde Park
F. Z.
What do you expect?
Just the most iconic London park.
M. K.
If you visit, stay, or anything else you must visit Hyde Park, often or occasionally this is a great break from the city integrated in the most beautiful way. You can chill, walk, run workout, smoke a blunt, listen to music. This place is definitely more lively in the weekend with all its events and concerts.
J. D.
Nice place to visit with family. It's a big place to visit and also good to have a long relaxing walk. There is a nice beautiful lake with lots of swans, ducks and geese.
M. B.
What a amazing place. Loved walking here. The temperature was -6 when I visited in Feb’2020.
S. C.
On a bright winter's day you cannot wish for anything better than a stroll through this park. Full of people and with lots of paths, sculptures dotted about, terrific trees and lovely views. On this occasion we 'passed through' on our way to the V&A but at any time of year it's a lovely place to be and the Serpentine Galleries are a bonus.
D.
Nice place to walk around and get some fresh air.
R. K.
Evergreen Hyde Park is obviously a most visit places for all families at least once every 2 months or even monthly, but in these days of Pandemic & lockdown, its not advisable to hang around in such popular public places. This Easter there were too many people there without a mask. Please wear a mask when outside your home and in public please.
J. C.
Nice walk excellent cafe
S.
Great family day out! ❤
A. H.
Best free place for kids to have a great fun.
S. M.
Hyde park is huge and perfect to spend the day filming in different locations
I even fed a squirrel some almonds
D. P.
Nice place while year around to take kids, friends and family. In the winter there’s Winter Wonderland which is a very attractive winter fair. Don’t bring liquids in your bag as you would need to dispose them before entering the fair. Food prices are expensive for the portion received but very good variety of food and drinks and sweet treats, halal food is also on the premises, the rides are also pricey but a thrilled experience is guaranteed by some of them. Good experience!!
R. S.
A tranquil, beautiful expanse of green spaces, paths, memorials and history... There's something for all of us, a lake filled with extremely beautiful and canny wildlife, a cafeteria and a bandstand with centuries of history... Walking through the park came to remind me of H H Munro's shirt story, 'DUSK'...
