Reviews of Jubilee Park
I. M.
It is a beautifully kept park close to the center of London that provides space for exercise, a good amount of nature to look at, a brilliant Sunday market and a great crowd. Families, elderly, fitness freaks, youth, nature lovers all seem to find a little oasis here. Love having around the corner from home.
A.
One of the best park in this area and probably busy at lunch hour and great in nights with a lot lights in and around water stream. It's probably better than other park near workplace especially when compared with central London park (Victoria or Hyde Park) or even St James Park. If you are in the area go and explore and it's nice ambience overall.
Y. C.
One of my favorite place to spend the afternoon reading my books. The environment is absolutely chilling and calm. It's a small park comparing to others but it's definitely worth a visit!
M. J.
It fun wondering through and seeing the art installations. Imo not a destination, but enjoyable when around Canary wharf.
R. A.
Nice and quaint park situated in the heart of IOD. The greenery is a refreshing contrast to the colossal skyscrapers that surround it, with the current Christmas lights adding just that much more character to it this time of year 🌟
A. C.
Great spot of greenery in the middle of surrounding skyscrapers. It's small but enough to get some shade and to feel a bit of stillness and calmness in a central business district. Perfect for a lunch/picnic spot also.
H. H.
A small but relaxing park that is situated in the hustling-bustling financial district of Canary Wharf. I loved the seating areas and the water feature as it feels like a place you can go to for a temporary escape
Although there is a minuscule selection of flowers, there is a lot of green nature to look at and an astroturf. Would love to come back here when their summer lights are installed
V. D.
Good place to walk around and have a peaceful time.
J. S.
Lovely park built over Canary Wharf tube station. A serpentine channel/ fountain runs along this little charming park. There are some sculptures spread around the park, some of them part of temporary exhibitions.
V. K.
The uniqueness of this park goes off scale because this is the very island of comfort in the middle of the large high-rise buildings of Canary Wharf, the quiet noise of fountains that last throughout the park, along with the trees, very much weaken and force you to stay there and enjoy this atmosphere. This park is great to just sit and get rid of unnecessary thought with the accompaniment of the sound of flowing water
C.
A quiet little park in the middle of a sea of concrete. Always kept squeaky clean and occasional art pop ups are placed in the park and surrounding areas. The park also provides entry to the shopping centre below, jubilee line station and car park.
i. j.
Amazing as always the shopping centers were open, but lots of non essential shops closed, lots of people out and about, but there were no direct trains into Central but you can take rail replacement services and other buses. The waitress was open marks and sparks, Paul's , the coffee shops like Starbucks, costa coffee,it was lovely walking around canary wharf and jubilee gardens.
L. C.
It's great. I just can't review it higher because it's not really a park, it's a small place on the top of a station. It's really nice. You'll like it but that's not a destination 🙂
S. V.
Modern and tidy park. Lovely place to take a break and drink a cup of coffee.
L. B.
A park in the heart of canary wharf is unusual and rewarding, it is a Shangri-la of peace and quiet just off jubilee plaza, unknown to most who visit here, but is well visited by families with young children and a haunt for couples wanting a quiet place to be alone, if you enter jubilee plaza from the main shopping mall, walk up past the entrance to the jubilee line station entrance and look for the little three wheel coffee cart parked up on the left, just before it is a gap between two box hedges, the park snakes in twists and turns, in the middle is a series of raised ponds with bubbling fountains illuminated when the sun goes down and delightful little waterfalls, to the left is a series of small curving lawns and each one has several benches to sit, this wonderful park is most probably used by office workers to have their lunch in weekdays but at the weekend it is the place to head for if you crave peace and quiet after the busy hustle and bustle of an exciting day out visiting canary wharf and the many opportunities of shopping in the sprawling malls, a quiet peaceful place for those wanting to rest after a busy day before contemplating heading home.
V. M.
I love this green and relaxing place.Always busy with people eating them lunch ,sitting on bench or grass. Waterfalls fountains remind me Hong-Kong.
M. S.
Beautifully landscaped park central to Canary Wharf; lots of light and greenery in close location to the shopping centre and tube entrance/exits. Always well kept and looked after with some fish in one of the water features. Nice to walk through to/fro or to stop in for lunch. Lovely space.
N.
Very clean, my local walk around park. Perfect for meet ups after getting off the tube. Very modern and a nice escape from the skyscrapers, without actually leaving the skyscrapers.
Z. R.
Nice place to sit down or walk through. Very looked after.
S. W.
A wonderful park that has a very different ‘feel’ on each side of it, one being a lot more safe and smart and the other just sort of obnoxious and having little decorum.
X.
It's a really unique park/green area. It has trees towering above you, sculptures that make people go 'WOW', and small water fountains throughout the middle of the park. It is well named as it is right above the Canary Wharf Jubilee Line Station, and it is between both entrances.
Ή. Χ.
Was a pleasant walk in the park though the weather wasn't the best. Also saw some daffodils starting to bloom!
M. W.
It's nice having a clean green space in between the towering buildings of Canary Wharf, the green space does fill up very quickly during lunch time.
There is a good balance of shade and light. Benches for those who are unable to get up after sitting on the ground 🤣.
S. P.
There was a Diwali special where decoration have been place in the water. It was to represent the rangoli of Diwali, the colours, the lights, it was nice. My three year old enjoyed it, pushing the flowers around the water and walking along the edge 😬
J. C.
Pleasant park to sit amongst the buildings. Nice water feature running through the middle. Plenty of benches and green areas to sit.
m. m.
If you need to chill and relax, it's definitely the place to go. Go late in the evening when it's really cozy. You can do your own cute little picnic.
s. s.
Beautiful park in the center of canary wharf right next to shopping center and many big corporations like j p Morgan or deutsche bank with many seasonal attractions like winter lights at canary wharf unfortunately some parts of the park do have artificial grass so it is a bit disappointing
n. a.
This is one of my favourite parks. I love the atmosphere and the vibe.
B. C.
Nice little park in the middle of Canary Wharf. Great place to chill and relax. A mix of real and fake turf (currently marked out with social distancing circles) with some statues and a water feature. There are some little used bike racks by the One Canada Square side. It's near to the Crossrail Place Roof Garden and Museum of London, Docklands.
K. B.
Plenty of cafes and restaurants. Great selection of food. But for someone who doesn't know about it, it can be easily missed as it's weirdly hidden.
J. M.
Great Halloween spider and smoke light show
S. C.
Great area in the middle to find a quiet place to sit and have lunch outdoors when it's summer.
K. V.
Great place to relax on a break from work or shopping while in Canary wharf. Water features.
Normally art displays dotted around.
C. G.
A popular spot for office folk to take their lunch and sit amongst the trees with the sound of running water in the fountains. There’s a few sculptures dotted about if that’s your thing and the fountain/ water features runs throughout. There’s a coffee stand here too. The park itself sits on top of the shopping centre and can be entered at either end.
D. L.
Jubilee Park is a nice little oasis between the high rise offices. Bird boxes encourage the blackbirds and there is a raised stream, some benches and various art installations.
L.
Clean park. The grass is synthetic in places, which is good for wet days. Usually calm, you can also get shade from the trees. It is beautifully arranged with small fountains. Only thing is that there's often inconsiderate people smoking there, although it is forbidden. And not only cigarettes. And you can't really avoid their smoke getting in you face as the park is small..
W. R.
Lovely piece of tranquillity in the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle that is Canary Wharf.
A. U.
Brilliant little park in the heart of the financial district. Awesome water feature that runs from one end to another which is so much fun for the kids. Surrounded by trees and lawn grass which at times turns into astroturf which is nice to sit on. Plenty of benches throughout the park and shaded areas for the summer months. Highly recommended as a day out as you can plan in other walking distance attractions such as Cabot place fountains which is another amazing experience with a massive fountain centre piece. The surrounding area has ample bars, cafes and restaurants there is so much to do and eat.
v. p.
Great green space in the middle of Canary Wharf. The outdoor screen is a way to entertain the locals and visitors alike.
j. b.
Corporate domain provides a meticulously landscaped and safely designated green and shady park above shopping mall.
Subtly parcelled into unobtrusively flowing self-contained ‘open-plan’ areas with a raised and segmented fountain dissecting, unifying and defining the area. Canny utilisation of limited space allows for relative privacy.
Exquisite park. Exemplary.
Puts the Cor! into Corporation.
C. P.
Beautiful place for picnic and play with your kids
R. M.
It's very soothing with water and greenery....and seating
H. S.
Nice little green space to take a breath in
R.
Visited this park in winter. Winter lights festival is realy awesome, and its free !
K. D.
Small area of greenery with running water in the middle of the hustle and bustle of finance. Would still enjoy sitting there with a coffee as I did in the past.
S. A.
I love the fountains there. Especially at night when they shine in the lights.
J.
It's a park thats pretty much always busy
R. G.
Cute little park for reading a book or having lunch. There's a multicoloured lighting water feature in the middle which kids love to look at.
I wouldn't recommend it for excercise as it's a bit smaller than other parks. But you could run through or cycle through.
D. O.
Nice place to spend your time on a sunny day. You get free o2 WiFi here!
D. W. (. 5.
Just passing through but it's a nice quiet oasis, good for meeting friends for a chat.
F. R.
Nice to spend a bit of time when in Canary Wharf. Nicely designed and pleasant but clearly not a destination on its own. Not much to do there beyond looking at it and resting for a few minutes.
k. j. c.
Very nice and peaceful place to visit
S. G.
What a calm relaxing park
Had a really good time there
W. S.
Love this Park. Often has different art installations. I have done the canqry wharf light installation here, one summer attended the open air Shakespeare theatre, recently they had a diwali display which was stunning. They have an ice rink nearby in the winters
N. J.
Love the place
Great place for day out and shopping
r.
The largest park at Canary wharf, comprising over 100 deciduous conifers, mostly Dawn Redwood and a handful of swamp Cypress.
a. s.
It's meh, nothing there to grab your attention. It's more of a place where people from the local office's go to have their lunch
N. J.
Got lost and wondered through here. If I wasn't lost and planned to go here I'm sure it would be lovely.
S. N.
A socially distanced trip out to exercise in what is a hidden gem of a park in the busy urban jungle. Just be aware that there are often more people than space at busy times so unless like me you're a wheelchair user, seated space is minimal when it's raining.
S. K.
Nice, beautiful, calm park..everyone enjoying their own picnic. Fantastic show of Danny champion of the world put on by illyria.
T.
A little bit of tranquility in a busy surround. Can be busy on a nice day as office workers take advantage of the little open space there is nearby. Grab a spot!
I. M.
Perfect please to rest and enjoy.
S. A.
I work round the corner from this park. I always go there on my morning and lunch break and sit toby that park. Love it there, nice location to sit and have a chat.
I. G.
It's a little green spot well preserved in the middle of the glass of Canary wharf.
Nice during summer days with space to sit and a few benches to sit down and enjoy the sun during your break.
Very good amenities around as you have jubilee place full of restaurants and shops.
J. G.
It's great with so much to see and do. Outdoor events, pubs restaurants, cafes, shopping malls music and the arts.
Z. K.
It's interesting, completely isolating of the hustle and bustle of the buildings and people near by. Recommended for those business people who need a breather time.
M. J.
Nice park in Canary Wharf. Very busy at lunch time.
L. C.
I love this oasis of peace amid the grey buildings of Canary Wharf
G. M.
Lovely park in the middle of Canary Wharf with access to the shopping centre.
m. g.
Small and very cosy
L. B.
A patch of green between ttt of concrete.
A place for corporate people to have a small break
Well locked after the place 👌
C. D.
Fantastic little park in canarycwharf, well maintained and has a water feature. Great place to stop for a coffee and to enjoy the tall buildings.
A. K.
Really nice Christmas vibes during our visit.
S. M.
It's small garden between two tube gates.
P. (.
Lovely garden to enjoy when the weather is good. In the summer they put fish into the water features which adds a nice touch over summer. Plenty of open spaces and benches to sit down on. Can get busy on the weekdays when the weather is good as all the city staff try to enjoy the sun. Good place to come in the weekends or evenings if you want a bit of places and quiet or greenery around the wharf
S. V.
Jubilee place have free 3 hours car park on weekends when you do shoping, which is great 👍you just need to scan your parking ticket in any shop 😉
S. S.
This is a lovely place to retreat from the busy Canary Wharf shops and bars and restaurants . It has small running streams with bubbling fountains and is like a small park. Sometimes, ducks come and swim in the streams and there are benches to sit in the sun. It gets busy but the clever design means you can usually find a small area for yourself. Really nice trees and shrubs provide shade. Highly recommended :)
M. N.
A beautiful little park in the heart of Canary Wharf. It gets extremely busy on workdays, especially ones with good weather. It provides a very relaxing environment to catch your breath or grab a quick coffee or a bite. The inspiration of the water feature was Japanese gardens and it’s definitely worth it. When you feel that you’re relaxed enough, go through the revolving doors in the middle and down to the shopping centre to join the crowds once more.
T. G.
Obviously not worth making a special trip for. It's tiny. However, it's impeccably cared for and does have a light feature during Canary Wharf light festival.
R. S.
Jubilee Park was originally an area of open and exposed grass. The northern half of the Park has been constructed over the Jubilee Line Underground Station and the southern half is installed over the retail Mall of the Wharf. Unusual in its extent over a roof structure, challenging in its proximity to numerous other large construction projects, the Jubilee Park Canary Wharf project encountered a range of constraints bringing about a number of dynamic solutions.
Approximately 250 semi mature trees were imported from Germany and Holland as part of the advance procurement strategy to secure the numbers and sizes of trees specified for the project. The materials were containerised and held off site for a year to promote root development and enable formative pruning in a controlled environment. Focusing on the Dawn Redwood (Metasequioa glytostroboides), the tree palette is punctuated by spring flowering cherries (Prunus ‘Shirotae’ and ‘Shirofugen’), swamp cypress (Taxodium distichuum), evergreen Oak trees (Quercus x Turnerii) and Zelkovas.
The simple, yet bold planting strategy similarly required the advance procurement of all shrub material and instant hedging plants. Nearly three thousand ornamental grasses, Pennisetum alopecuriodes, have been planted in the top of the feature dry stone walls whilst approximately fifteen thousand ground cover Cornus ‘Kelseys dwarf’ have been planted to form the shrub beds – creating a summer green carpet under the towering trees, turning to their yellow / red bark colour during the winter months.
Mock up construction and off site fabrication of the waterproof formwork for the pools eliminated excessive concrete casting of inner walls and on site waterproofing. Coupled with the use of tented cover, which enabled winter working, the water feature acceleration assisted dramatically the drive towards the target completion date. Building priorities meant that the pools and ground pipework were installed prior to the completion of the irrigation/water feature plant room.
For the stone walls, a well-defined material core to the original design intent, the use of Blue Limestone from the Vinalmont region in Belgium was extensively explored – to ensure that best value, quality, specification, supply and delivery could be achieved through out the lifecycle of the Jubilee Park project.

This is a very pretty and peaceful garden. It's small but very well maintained. A great little find in the middle of high rise office buildings.
M. N.
I simply love this park. 5⭐️ 5❤️
S. R.
This is a true bliss in the midst of madness of the banking area of Canary Wharf. So calm. The flowing water features calm your mind. You feel ready to tackle one more day of madness. I visit this place regularly after lunch. Gives me a small break and also rejuvenates the mind for the next half of the day.
E. V.
It is clean, beautiful and has sculptures but is overlooked and looses points for being built along a path that is basically a thoroughfare for 'Canary-Wharfians'; this takes away from the serenity as it is always busy and the fight for a decent spot during lunch times (or if your really brave) during summer months takes away from the splendour.
J. a.
Nice park
D. M.
Jubilee Park is a nice place to sit outside and eat food from the restaurants in Jubilee Place. There’s almost always a free bench. The trees provide ample shade for warmer days.
J. B.
Really lovely Sunday walk! Lots of place to explore! We came across a lovely couple who were in the process of moving out. We stopped and helped them put a few boxes of theirs into the back of the van.
O. U.
Great family festival going on atm check it out. They have drawn out social circles for groups to sit and enjoy!
J. A.
Quite confusing to find shops
No directions
Have to search blindly
Took me 45 mins to find the shop I was looking for
R. S.
Lovely oasis in a busy city. When had a little mouse (NOT A RAT!!) exploring under my seat as I sat waiting. Peaceful, quaint and very pretty. Beware the entrance is used by lots of folk who can't smoke in their buildings so if this is an issue for you.... Rush past to the open space beyond
D. B.
A bit of green in amongst all of the buildings of Canary Wharf. As with all of Canary Wharf someone has gone to considerable effort to make it feel that little bit special; and for the most part succeeded. Not a place worth seeking out, but if you can't face lunch at your desk again then one of the nicest options for sitting somewhere green for a few minutes.
L. H.
Such a beautiful calm oasis in the middle of Canary Wharf. I find it so peaceful here with the greenery and water features. There's sometimes even a duck splashing about.
K. T.
Amazing place to escape the city of Canary Wharf. Very peaceful with mini water fountains and trees.
A. L.
Lovely little park with a water feature. They had a winter Lights Festival when I visited In January and its looked magical. In such a concrete jungle you need a bit of green space and trees.
h. f.
Fabulous..lots of open space the river, good shops, Nicolas Winery....top snotch
C. E.
Nice to have such asecluded place in the middle of the skyscrapers. You could literally forget where you are. Relax as you sit at a shade under the trees or watch the flowing water. It is tranqualizing. Takes you out of the hassle of the day and the crowd. There is also access to the mall from the park. Take your time to relax, if you are bored or stressed out.
C. K.
Cute & clean little park
F.
Family friendly, clean, modern little park situated in Canary Wharf, parking, shops and newsagent available. Perfect place to hang out with family and friends.
A. R.
Nice spot in the middle of the wharf with nicely designed water features. Typical pigeons bullying small birds dynamic rho..
L. W.
Lovely clean green area with plenty of shade and benches, just behind the main entrance to Canary Wharf tube station. Great spot to have lunch outside with easy access to Jubilee shopping centre where you can get sandwiches from M&S, noodles from Itsu or a burger from Five Guys. Mainly lawn but some patches of AstroTurf which are worth seeking out if the grass has been watered on the day you visit! Toilets are available in the shopping centre.
W. C.
Beautiful place to relax. The winding path through the park is a just about enough to take you off to a peaceful place away from the bustle of CW. The grass is relaid 1-2 times annually, so the grass is mostly green.
G. P.
Nice little walk through Pak at Canary Wharf. Good water feature and frequent art shows. Also a quick cut through rather than using the underground station or shopping centre, as long as it's not raining.
H. S.
Beautiful landscaping, a small patch of green amidst the steel & glass structures. It's not a landmark that you need to visit, but if you just want to relax while reading a book & sipping coffee, then it's perfect
W. C.
Had to hang around in Canary Wharf for a few hours, decided to grab a drink and relax in Jubilee Park on one of the various grass slopes. Very nice to have a park like that in the middle of it all so close to the underground station.
J. B.
Very peaceful place, amongst the madness
p. h.
Very nice small park with a long fountain! It feels so good to hear the sound of waterfall!
M. G.
Really pretty, the Winter Lights Festival over the winter months was so amazing, like on another level amazing. In terms of the collection itself, there where some very unique pieces and highly innovative landscaping features.
G. A.
A lovely tranquil space in the middle of Canary Wharf
H. B.
Lovely little oasis hidden amongst the towers. Maybe not quit worth changing your plans to go there, but a great place to rest, eat a spot of lunch or enjoy cup of coffee
M. P.
Very picturesque..peaceful & relaxing
E. M.
Charming park next to the offices and shops. A nice spot for a picnic lunch. Areas drawn on the grass to aid social distancing
R. B. -. E. k.
I go up to Canary Wharf once in a while.
This is a nice oasis of peace and tranquillity in amongst a very highly charged business district with massive skyscrapers and many busy people
Like this and a very nice addition to this business area.
J. G.
Very nice green area around buildings
S. B.
Obviously a bit fake in the middle of skyscrapers, but I'm happy this little park is here for the summer for lunch break and they do great events as well - saw some open air Shakespeare a few years ago.
K. C.
Great green area for relax ,middle of the financial district.
E. E.
Beautiful place for families
K. B.
Small but charming place, bring calm in so busy place like Canary Wharf
P. G.
Beautiful park in the middle of all the skyscrapers. Great place to go in summer to go sit and have lunch in sun. Very well maintained gardens.

Highly secured, clean, modern architecture. A great place to visit and take pictures. There is a shopping mall, restaurants, and every one is friendly.
m. v.
fabulous spot of green in a concrete jungle! its soothing and calming to walk through this patch, aided by the sounds of flowing water and birds chirping
S. P.
Perfect location. 2 hours free on weekdays if you shop for £10 at Waitrose. 3 hours free on weekends when spending £10 on any shops or restaurants. The bays are a bit tight but was ok super minis
C. a. G. L. N.
Nice place to sit and eat or take a vrake
s. m.
nice little park, in the heart of Canary Wharf. Always immaculate and well kept, allows you to take a break from the concrete and steel of the area
g. l.
In the park areas, there are sprayed white circles that encourage social distancing which was very thoughtful.
I. H. S.
Great place to chillax in the summer, few events here and there like mini concerts. During the winter its a nice place to even eat outside on the benches or underground at jubilee place.
J. D.
Nice, quiet little spot to sit when you want a moment away from the noise and bustle of Canary Wharf. But what's with the artificial turf?
A. D.
Nice little park to have lunch in the heart of Canary Wharf
J. A. N. P.
Shhh.. don't tell anyone. Nice little hidden gem to stroll and relax, in the centre of this otherwise busy and hectic business area. Great for small picnic in the summer.
D. C.
Nice place to relax, shaded spots which is rare in London. Nice water fountain to, shops underneath very convenient
Y. Y. C.
Good place for picnic with the kids. There are lots of trees which gives some shades on very hot days. On good days there are activities suitable for kids
L. M.
Pretty park winding its way above the Jubilee Line station. A string of ponds and places to sit. Avoid at lunchtime too crowded and a lot of smokers
b. f.
One of my favourite places in Candy wharf and also the Crossrail roof gardens
D.
Peaceful and calm place amidst city. Very beautiful

OMG, suits smoking cigarettes during their break in a wonderland oasis in the heart of Canary Wharf. Such mind-blowing combination can only be experienced in London!
G. T.
I love this park! It's so peaceful and the water features are lovely. A really nice area in East London.
L. t.
Beautiful space, great location between skyscrapers, but water provides a sense of calm and relaxation.
A. M.
It has a park to sit and eat perfect for family time
M. I.
Plenty of seating, great place for lunch or coffee break when the weather is nice.
S. R.
Very clean and guarded by security so the place is maintained really nice!
M. C.
A nice place to take your lunch break. Watch out for the ducks who visit the place and also for the fish in one of the ponds.
J. v.
My daily routine commute to office.. it's not a big park though but fine it does what it's meant for peace
F. R.
Tranquil small space. Perfect for picnics, or time out with kids.
L. G.
Not really a park I would say... people use more as short cut and to enter to jubilee place mall. Always clean and well kept.
L. H.
Nice enough but small and nothing to do unless it's a warm day and you want to sit
L. M. L.
So peaceful and lovely with the water falls, shameful about people not wearing face masks
M. M.
Beautiful place, stunning surroundings
