Good place to spend your time relaxing environment
Kids will love it
I. B.
Lovely open space. Great area for the community to share and to come together. Ample space for picnicking games relaxing, exercising and also for dog walking. Is situated so that residents have easy access but also allows for the convenience of good transport links and local amenities.
E. S.
Lovely park with lovely spaces. Tha Park has a little stream running all through it. Great place to chill, take a walk, exercise 😎
N. B.
So much fun yesterday my friends I had party 🥳from 4pm to 9pm man it's fun.... man u should visit and the views it just awesome 👌🏿
E. P.
Lovely place. Perfect for families. Kids and dogs can play happily. Nice playgrounds and other sports..
J. B.
Not sure what else to say other than it's a park with a few different climbing frames etc for kids, tennis courts and a half pipe section for skateboards scooters. A decent cafe near the Ladywell station entrance too.
M. B.
Amazing park!! Great for kids, great for dogs, great for walks!! We especially love the shallow stream. It is hard to believe it is in the heart of Lewisham center and not somewhere deep in the country side.
S. S.
Had great morning cycling through Ladywell Fields Park. Nice and peaceful 😌
A. G.
Great for a stroll along the river, dog walk or a game of tennis. A good size with various vistas and places to relax or work out.pretty much what you need in a public park.
J. K.
Nice walk, your child can enjoy various activities here and spend some time and breathe fresh air.
C. R.
Beautiful trio of parks in SE London. Well maintained, a little River, outdoor gym, playgrounds, outdoor activity centre for kids, loads of trees and bird life including parakeets.
M. C.
This a gorgeous bit of greenery! With a small stream tennis courts a running track with a gym. Outdoor gym equipment has recently been added making it even better for some outdoor activities. Great for walking running and sitting to admire the view of the Sunrise; or just sitting to look at the stream. There is also a skateboard area and a children's park.
F. K.
Lovely park with a river running through it. there is plenty of space to play or relax. Tennis courts, skate park & a lovely cafe are just three of the delights ladywell fields have to offer
A. D. P.
Beautiful park, well cared for, quiet, good atmosphere, perfect to share with your friends, family or alone. I love this site, I recommend it! 🌳☀️
F. K.
A calm patch of green in a busy SE London neighbourhood. A place to relax, to train, to stroll with picturesque views of the river Ravensbourne, letting you're forget you're actually surrounded by a massive sprawl called London.
S. S.
Large well maintained park! Love the coffee store there, especially the doggy ice cream they have for our pooches 😊
J. N.
Ladywell Fields is part of the Park behind Lewisham University Hospital. Nicely lit up at night too, not too bright nor too dark neither.
They are a combination of several parks all next door to each other, has a wildlife centre, a cafe, a running track, tennis courts, and the River Ravensbourne runs through it as well. It is linked to Ladywell Railway Station at its North end and Catford and Catford Bridge Railway Stations at its Southern end.
S. s.
Lovely space. It's amazing how much greenery there is in the borough of Lewisham. Post lock down freedom it's good to be out and about.
d. g.
Lovely park with cal. Open areas, play area, tennis courts, skateboarding area, Cafe and Lovely stream running through
S. N.
Nice park, 2 play areas, decent cafe with lovely hot food. Large grass areas for sports and toilets, always a + for that
S. G.
Really good for a local park and sports arena plus bowling green & tennis courts
N. S.
Great open space for children, families, dogs and dogwalkers. Although it could get a bit muddy in the winter.
f. b.
A brilliant park can have many hours of fun, first of all there is two parks, which you can get to either side via a bridge that goes over the train line. Both sides has a play area one side is silently bigger then the other.
You have a massive filed on both sides where you can any sports, you can sun bathe, ride your bike, go roller blading in the skate park. Play tennis in the tennis court or play basketball in the court.
The choice is yours.
B. M.
Lovelynpark to either have a walk, run, play tennis, have a walk with your dog/s or spend time with your family !
R. B.
Great park with lots of facilities: benches, tennis courts, proper skate park. Follows a nice small river, with lots of wild vegetation along it, but with much more grassy areas for just sitting in.
R. H.
Fantastic place to visit, some great walks along river. Great play area for kids.
T. F.
Great park with some awesome wildlife. It's massive. On one side is all the cafe, Skate park, kids park, tennis courts etc. If you go over the curly bridge to the other side you can follow the river round. I often see kingfishers, egrets, small fish, all sorts of ducks, rats and loads of dogs and children. Good park for doggos though there are lots of children around and some of them are skating and they can be hard for some dogs so i thought worth mentioning!
S. m.
Ladywell fields has something for everyone, a well equipped children's play area, tennis courts. And the meandering river Ravensbourne with its wealth of nature and wildlife. An emerald gem in the blue Borough.
G. J.
Great set of parks. Walked following the Ravensbourne river across the parks, through Lewisham, Deptford on to Greenwich.
R. P.
This park is a good size to walk/jog/run around and it has lots of benches for a rest! It has a café and a great playground and skating ramps. It is next to Ladywell train station and a walkable distance from Lewisham town centre.
K. P.
Nice green space in the middle of catford and lewisham. tennis courts, kids playground ,plenty of space.
L. B.
Lady well fields is always nice. Good skate park and lovely rivers and fields. Right next to the station as well as its handy to chill out in before catching your train. I've often popped in on my way home from work.
S. R.
It a huge park , clean and beautiful.
J. C.
Great local park where you have escape the hectic busy roads of Ladywell. Small play area for kids, flowing stream and sufficient benches to take a break.
L. I.
Lovely landscaped park with river running through the middle. Lovely cafe (toilets open adjacent to cafe). Child friendly (playground at each end). Dog friendly. Lovely place to just take a stroll. Would definitely recommend a visit.
J. “. B.
The adventure playground was closed when I got there at 11:30 but the in-park shop was open, the Quaggy/River is looking good with wildlife and clean.
O. F.
Spent the afternoon in the park with my two year old grandson where he met his little friend. We then at ice-cream at the cafe. The staff were friendly and attentive. Great afternoon out. 😊
a. M.
Take a stroll from Catford to Ladywell off the main road...beats the bus (and train!!)...follow the river or stay left of the running track...over the spiral footbridge takes you to Hillyfields or head straight on to Ladywell bridge and station...plenty of nooks and seating for your pack lunch and far from the maddening crowd...Ladywell Rec' as we know it is a walkers and cyclists cut through with benefits...take some time out..you won't regret it👉💎👉⚡👉💓👉👍
B. C.
Lovely park. Cafe serves amazing coffee and is dog friendly. If you go past the playpark and cross the footbridge, the park just keeps on going. Really good walk.
S. D.
Lots of open space, tennis and basketball courts, and decent children's playgrounds. The river is especially fun for kids. The paths do get overcrowded on weekeds during lockdown. Adequate lighting makes it great for late walks.
C. L.
Park is in 2 sections. Small but good cafe, toilet facilities, plenty of seats. Playground for the children. Nice place to walk around.
B.
A lovely green space to go for a walk and enjoy some fresh air. It's a great place for tennis and going for a run. My only problem is the overflowing of bins, they need changing more frequently as litter tends to blow all over the grass and into the streams.
H. C.
Ladywell fields is lovely, the river meanders through the park.
M. V. H.
Pleasant, clean and wide open areas. Great for dog walks and picnics. Found parking nearby in the street on a Saturday afternoon.
C. D.
Great for walking the dog. Able to keep socially distanced. Abundance of bird life , saw a warbler 3 days ago. Also kingfisher, heron, egret and last year 2 nuthatch. My daily birds are the crows, magpie, robin and wren but there are more!
S. T.
Fantastic park with landscaped stream. Excellent tennis courts
R. G.
A lovely park to do a walk around when it is not to busy in the park, there are toilets and calf in the middle of the park. It has tennis courts and a skatepark also basketball caught and running track.
N. W.
Worked in the hospital for years and it's a great park for an inner city borough. It has the stream, play parks, great sports facilities skate park, tennis. Great for running. Cafe of good hope is lovely. Round the corner Delice de France.
C. D.
Lovely quiet and calm park in the middle of catford/lewisham/Brockley... Winner!
S. M.
Theirs lots of space for kids to explore and do. The park has a cafe, climbing frames, athletics track, football & tennis courts besides, huge greenery. Including a skatepark you cant miss which is steel, good ramps to tryout and has a lot of space to just ride. The only problem I had (skatepark) was the muddy puddle by the entrance gate (before I had noticed their was to gates outside that area) so be careful! I would say its not a good idea to go when its raining or wet outside for the matter. Also, in my opinion I think that the skatepark here wouldn't be suitable for smaller children (under 6s) who are beginners as the ramps are more advanced and steep to handle just to be on the safe side. It does gets a little busy but only with smaller kids.
K. B.
Tennis courts, play park area for kids, picnic benches, good park for walks and runs
P. B.
A nice park for a good stroll, the river running through it has an abundance of wildlife, plenty of space for a picnic, and the Good Hope cafe is a welcome surprise.
D.
Clear, loads of green space and shaded areas. Small river running along, good place for kids to splash on the hot day. Have a public toilet, couple of play groups, cafe with good coffee as nd ice-cream
P.
Lots of trees to climb with some parts of the river low and able to get on but I do not recommend dipping into the water as it's dirty and probs homeless people pee in it
T. B.
Excellent park for cycling, running, walking and all kind of get going fitness exercises.
L. F.
Just a beautiful place, nice small Cafe
e. p.
the park runs both sides of the quaggy river (may have misspelled it lots of space to social distance and a more scenic route to Lewisham Catford and the park leads up to Blythe hill a great spot for looking across the south east .
R. N.
Loved it . It is cool and serene for friends and family. Good for workout and picnic. Is a good to just sit and meditate on God.
m. a.
Cool open area to chill as well as many quiet spots
L. G.
I really enjoyed my visit, it was a trip down memory lane. I haven't been to the park for about 50 years a lots changed for the better I would not visit there in the dark but my adult son was with me today we really liked the park.
H. J.
Lovely park, lots of green space for picnics and football. Several areas for kids to play in and a toilet and little cafe. Ideal!
P. H.
Nice open, clean park that's relatively recently redeveloped (last decade). A few play areas for kids, a river that running through it, and some info points dotted around make it fun for the family.
Deduction of one star as it doesn't seem to be maintained i.e grass mowed etc regularly and it does seem a little neglected during the winter.
P.
This is a wonderful linear park in the heart of Lewisham. There is so much to see, a huge variety of birds, including, herons, kingfishers and even a cormorant. It's a happy and relaxing place. Go and enjoy it!
J. B.
Lovely open space so close to Central London
D. W.
Lovely place, toilets and food too!😋
J. M.
lovely park with skating rumps. field for football, playground, which is really good, there is a tarzan slide there. cafe is nice. little river runs along it. it's perfect!
A. C.
Got to be Lewisham's best park; skate park, tennis courts, Olympics fundedLadywell Arena, river Ravensbourne, bowls club, linear & flat as it follows the railway line, cafe, toilets, 2 kiddiewinks play parks, picnic tables, meadow land by the intriguing John Evelyn Centre, great bridge over the rail tracks, a viaduct, Youth Club, a veritable feast of foliage, rare trees & common trees ... the list goes on. Luxuriate in it locals.
All others: don't come! Off to HillyFields ye go.
K. E.
Good tennis courts, only a fiver per hour so not bad. Although almost always fully booked.
S. H.
One of Lewisham’s finest parks! Lovely river running through it, nice setting and lots of good facilities for children. Nice cafe Of Good Hope too, great hot choc!
J. S.
All of the changescI see when visiting this park are for the better. The skate park was very much enjoyed by our 10 year old and everyone loves the rivers here.
A. A.
Nice park. Very close to ladywell and catford stations. You can find easily parking in the area. With public restrooms will take more than 5 stars
P. H.
Good for a dog walk, especially in the summer with the river to give them a paddle and keep cool. Only issue is there is often a lot of litter, otherwise it would have been a 5 star
C. T.
It's lovely and lush green in the daytime. Lots of trees and greenery along with the local river meandering through both sides of the park that are accessible via the spiral bridge. There are tennis courts, playgrounds, park benches (also by the river) and the cafe situated near Ladywell train station and the public toilets.
J. R.
Lovely park with toilets, skate park and close to transit. Plenty of sun and shade.
K. n. s. w.
Ladywell Fields is scenic and expansive it has a babbling Brook running through it, excercise equipment and a play area for kiddies,
Be warned though around 15:30 - 16:15 there are many children and in the case of rain theirs only one bridge one can use for cover
L. H.
It's neither good or bad, I would love to work on it to improve the look and facilities but it serves it's purpose well. Just not pretty to look at.
S. B.
Awesome park with lots to do. The playground has alot of options and is perfect for younger children.
A. G. A.
Love this park. Has a great vibe to it. If you're an actor I recommend it to got practice some monologues, although it gets busy sometimes around 3-330 cause it's right next to a school and on weekends. Nice spot to jog or bike as well.
C. R.
Nice green space with lots of sorts equipment, lawns, children's playground, running track, cafe and little river.
C.
Very nice sunny lunchtime in Ladywell fields. Cafe and toilets open. Plenty of places for children to play and for sitting on benches or on the grass.
M. C.
Beautiful, large open park with a quaint river running through. Plenty of climbing frames for the kids, Ladywell also boosts a caged off basketball court.
There is a nice cafe in the park with disabled access next door. My only quarm is that the toilets close relatively early.
J. S.
Had a great afternoon in there with kids in a playground and teenager in skate park. Everybody amused 👍
A. E.
At Ladywell Railway Station you'll find a massive massive country park walk on inside past Lewisham General Hospital aim to walk to Catford Bridge or Catford Stations to catch the train home..When you are at Ladywell there are many take away coffee outlets.
N. E.
My son's favourite, loves his freedom, near to the train station and cafés, good for picnic and children
j. l.
I've lived in and around this area for over 30 years and never realised how big and interesting this park is. From the river to the zip line .... awsome place

Really nice local park to go for a walk or a run. It's a nice area with benches to sit down and plenty of space for the kids to play or dogs to run around. However, be careful when going through it at night.
D. “. D.
Really nice time. Park is great for children and really clean.
J. L.
A great place to sit and gather your thoughts
R. D.
I've driven past Ladywell Fields for decades, but walked in it for the first time last week. It's on a hill with an excellent view of the City of London. Don't be like me and just drive past, it's special.
A. K.
Great place for walking dogs and jogging.
Has tennis courts, cafe and public restroom.
C. P.
Beautiful spot, lovely cafe in the middle. So important to have green space.
M. R.
Absolutely wonderful park. A really unusual place to find peace and quiet. Feels very spacious for a narrow strip of land and the river makes you feel like you could be in the countryside
C. P.
Nice park, really good play area which has a variety of play equipment however it could benefit from a bit of an overhaul/tidy up.
The park features a gated play area an open wooded play area, a skate park, tennis courts, baxketball court a cafe and over the bridge towards crofton park there is an adventure playground.
There is also gym equipment around the perimeter such as pull up bars.
A stream runs through the park & on hot days children will paddle in there but I am cautious of my children going in there after I saw a rat in there last week!
L. A.
Another family favourite, great for a long Sunday walk. Playground has plenty of variety and toilets and cafe on-site, too.
A. M.
Very large, wide and well maintained park. Playgrounds available for children, roo
R. S.
Lovely park kept very clean and a really nice walk round the park and can follow the green chain walk to go further. Cafe in park is charity run for Stephen Lawrence
J. J. S.
Love this park, and the kids love to play in the stream.
Cafe is expensive and if you have more than 1 child with you on a hot day not great, I had 5 with me and just buying ice-cream x 4 with 1 icelolly cost over £12 and that's without getting drinks.
I know it's a charity running it, but doesn't this begin at home.
I don't understand how they make money.
O. J.
Basically for sporting purposes and exercises
A walk around, helps in clearing one's mind.
Stay fit and be happy 😉
D. 7.
Lovely local park providing a scenic walk to Catford or Ladywell. Separate area for dog walkers and park has improved greatly from twenty years ago !!
F. V.
Huge park with toys for kids and a cute coffee shop.
Nice walk around the creek!
J. W.
A great place to walk and play. The park winds from Ladywell to Catford, crossing the Ravensbourne river on the way. There are two small playgrounds at either end and also an adventure playground for older children. Near Ladywell station there is a good cafe to sit and watch the world go by. Other amenities include a small skate/scooter park and tennis courts.
J. R. G.
Perfect park for a dogwalk.
S. T.
Lovely park with national cycle route 21 going through it. Great for family cycling and cafe at Ladywell end serves great coffee and snacks.

A. U.
Beautiful large open space which spans from Ladywell to Catford. There is a stream running through the park alongside a kids play area and athletics track. Definitely something for everyone to do
T. T.
I volunteer every Saturday morning for the inclusive group at s-factor. It's from 11-12. The facilities are great, some bits need a bit of TCL but otherwise it is great for the kids. The inclusive coach is brilliant and I would advise any kid to come down develop your Athletics skills whilst having fun.
m. t.
Large open space with a river running through it. Contains sports facilities an arena and gym. People are friendly and respectful.
B. R.
Lovely place hasn't changed since I was born. However the river is much cleaner

J. A.
a little oasis from ladywell that goes through to catford. never super busy, and a lot of sport amentities and a lovely cafe.
also for the geek in me, there a few signs arouns the park giving you some history and interesting facts of ladywell fields. my only suggestion would help if a few more toilets were available around the park.
J. D.
Lovely park good play area for young children.Shame people can't take their rubbish home with them.

There was a Jamaican festival here and will be every year to come.

It's lovely and lush green in the daytime. Lots of trees and greenery along with the local river meandering through both sides of the park that are accessible via the spiral bridge. There are tennis courts, playgrounds, park benches (also by the river) and the cafe situated near Ladywell train station and the public toilets.

I enjoyed my walks around Ladywell Fields very much.
C. W.
Good skate park. Has a large space for football, tennis courts and a large play area for kids. Cafe is over priced tho
D.
It's a nice park, very nice trees
C. F.
Linear park wide enough not to feel like a linear park. Pleasant water courses and mature trees. Range of amenities. Good for a stroll.
L. D.
Love it here, been coming here since I was born, so many happy memories, also athletics track, cricket pitches and for the really daring lawn bowls
E. H.
Good tennis courts (book online). Nice variety of landscape areas around the Ravensbourne river.
C. S.
Very basic park good for a run or a cycle around very nice area to relax with friends and family very simple place but could do with some more things todo in it as it has big potential to have more
D. C.
A hidden gem. Great cycling route between catford and Lewisham. Pretty vistas and wildlife galore. 3 children's playgrounds (one pay to play age 7 plus) plus tennis courts and the athletic field itself.

R. F.
Just a brilliant local park with a fun playground, beautiful river and well-maintained paths. Avoid at 8am or 3pm though, as schoolkids walk through this park a lot.
E.
Quiet walk through to Catford. Park cafe and toilets were open and toilets had just been cleaned.
R. L.
I go jogging here in the morning. it's fairly flat and a good place for a run

This space needs to be aligned onto the Google Lay Line map, well when they get round to plotting the earths chi channels alongside regular roads. This place has Resurrection qualities. Imagine you come home to find your woman in bed with another woman and she refused to let you join in? your're hurt and fall off the edge with depression and as you spiral down losing your job, apartment you end up renting a room in Catford so you know your pretty close to the bottom. ▶ Then one day as you take a short cut back from the chippy you come across Ladywell Fields. It's so peaceful that I know it's not just the grass that's doing it, maybe it's the cheezy river trickling through it, maybe the trees, some of which are ancient, or the patches of unkept grass (coz we all like a bit of ruff just like my ex-fiancee did/does) or.... steups who cares. The place rejuvenated me, I sat, simply sat there and let mother nature open me out, once I relaxed I walked around a little more and realised the whole park is next to the main road, so it's an urban space in truth, and it even passes huge Lewisham Hospital making it so easy to go get my stomach pumped coz once I was rejuvenated and I was ready for living again. Really watch this place, I bet on full moon pagans will start to gather in increasing numbers coz it's so peaceful it's gotta be a portal!
