Reviews of Mile End Park
S.
One of my favourite parks in London. I often come here on my lunch break and walk alongside Regent's Canal.
Amazing canal barges and narrow boats of all sizes and designs.
Park has a combination of open spaces, waterways, ponds, swans and wooded areas with lots of paths linking them together.
K.
Well done to Mile End Park for the beautiful green space and the amazing amount of wildlife it attracts. It is an oasis in the middle of East London. Such a lovely place to go for a walk on a sunny day.
I. L. (. G.
This is one of my favourite park in London, bodies of water to two ways the canal and lake bike paths and walking paths...... Cafe and play areas for kids, BMX tracks and am sure theirs lot more, as I never explored the whole place....... But am actually looking forward to going here again...... Simply stunning...,
H. F.
Very interesting place which is often overlooked. The foot path along the canal can be painful in busy time but the paths for cyclists and pedestrians in parallel are very pleasant
d.
Very large park in East London that covers a lot of Mile End
Parallels a main road so can be noisy at times, but very well-kept and easy to navigate.
Main focus is the bridge over the A11 which is worth visiting, as well as Regents Canal running alongside the park.
Short walk from Limehouse and Hackney
Close to Victoria Park which should also be visited
F.
The mile end park is long and runs along side the Regent's canal. It is very pleasant and has distinct "areas" including a Sports park, an Ecology park, Arts park and a Terrace garden. A great place on a nice sunny day unfortunately my photos do not do it justice.
The Eco Park at the Roman Road end of the park is wonderful. Ponds alive with dragonflies and damselflies. The park is packed with moths, butterflies, woodpeckers and more bugs than you could shake a stick at.
H. J.
A bit noisy and the boats can be really stinky when they use coal to heat but other than that it's a nice london park and like all london parks more trees and diverse plant life would do some good.
T. L.
Nice to have green space. Long narrow park which has a raised walkway so you get splendid views of Canary Wharf. You can walk besides Regents Canal. Continue on to Limehouse Basin after Mile End Park. Worth walking through if you are in the area.
S. A.
Its a nice park, peaceful and good for a run. There is a hockey and football ground in there as well, they are the more happening parts of the park. The park could do with a bit more maintenance I must say. Some people threw a few plastic and beer bottles around which is a shame. I hope they keep it up.
N. A.
A nice park in the heart of the city. Park stretches from Mile End stadium in the south to Victoria Park in the north via the Green Bridge (which is actually yellow) linking the north and south side over the A11. The Regent's canal runs from north to south along the park linking Victoria Park and Mile End park.
Park has a combination of open spaces, waterways, ponds and wooded areas with lots of paths linking them together. Cycle paths also run along the park.
Park has:
- Football stadium and smaller pitches that can be booked through the mile end leisure centre.
- Mile End leisure centre with gym, swimming pool and football pitches. Pay and display parking available accessible from Burdett Road, E3.
- BMX track.
- Skate park.
- Climbing frame and play area for kids.
- Lots of paths for walks in the park and along the canal.
- Shops and cafes and fast food outlets along mile end road.
Accessible on foot if you are local or by bus, 25, 205, D6, D7 and train from Mile End station a 1 min walk away.
M. J.
Breathtakingly amazing views. Perfect for an evening ride ❤️
S. S.
So good to have some green! Nice walk along the canal, play areas, BMX track etc, plenty to do or just to walk through instead of along the busy main roads. Your lungs will thank you.
s. a.
Beautiful park. Great for walking, running, cycling, taking break, having picnic or walking your dog.
a. O.
A great park, with a whole host of exciting walks and points of keen interests. Including The Green Bridge, The Arts Park, The Terraced Garden, The Mile End Stadium, Sports Park. And there is also access to the Hertford Union Canal, which is used by cyclists, ramblers, tourists and students, alike - on a daily-basis. The Canal is a great place to go sightseeing for the very eccentric looking canal boats, displayed all along its length and distance.
G. M.
A lovely long park next to the canal - I would recommend spending time in the nature area behind the art pavillion
R.
I rode through this park everyday. Love how there is a cycle path the whole way though.
It’s great for walking in too. Well laid out and a lot of effort has gone into its design.
Has everything you need, from play grounds to seating areas.
Nice atmosphere and seems safe. Very clean too. Would recommend it.
J. S.
Mile End park is a beautiful but easily missed area of green space right in the heart of London's east end. Perfect for walking, jogging, cycling it's a treasure to enjoy.
J. O.
Beautiful walk around the park and followed the canal around to Limehouse bowl. Where the canal meets the River Thames. So amazing to see the final lock to the Thames. Beautiful views and the air feeling so much cooler and dare I say...fresher.😄
Amazing canal barges and narrow boats of all sizes and designs. The walk along the canal has quite low bridge walk ways where you might have to bend slightly. Very Dickensian! Best to get an early start so as to avoid the mass runners and cyclists with 'No Bike Bells' and No etiquette!
A. O.
Great park, very large, occasional events, good space to play football
B. O.
Lovely park by the canal side. Cyclist friendly (much better than the canal), with a dedicated cycle route. Even has a special dog agility course.
s. s.
It's a really large park.Lots of things to do.Good for small groups and suitable place for summer weekend.
P. P.
Over the years this place has transformed for better I add some nice places seating asking various walking/biking routes, I pop down to check out the wild life , how it's evolving without I hope disturbing
A. R.
Great for a walk and a bunch of activities for kids and active people, it's just situated next to a very busy road x
G. R.
What a beautiful east London spot. The canal leads you from Limehouse to Kings Cross, bypassing Mile End and Victoria Park on the way. Its often clean and big enough that on a hot summers day you can enjoy the park and not feel overcrowded. Due to the rustic feel in some sections of the park, its more like a small forest. From time to time there are small festivals, fairs or local fetes.
A. R.
The fog was interesting especially when the light from the sun tried to break through.
A. V. M.
True delight in busy urban east london; must visit the large pond, Mile end park and the canal walkway.....
E. E.
Far end next to canal, there's abountet aria which looks worse than Soviet Union.
Council and local leaders should be shamed - look at those tables
A. V.
Love this park because it's a really nice park, but hate the mess which people leave behind them!
I'll give 5* because it's worth it to go there, friendly squirrels but messy people... I hope that will improve one day!
O. S.
A lovely large park used by locals and visitors alike. There are a large number of walking paths.
Great place for families to visit
I. G.
Definitely one of my favourite parks around London, I come here often to watch the sunset.
R. N.
Great park for the Community and the public at large.
R. K.
Feel closer to the nature. Have a walk from Canary Wharf to Hackney and Victoria Park, visit ecology pavilon, have a pint by canal, and relax at outdoor gym experiencing amazing views of east London.
A. C.
How lovely to walk through the park from the tube station along the canal bank and see people running n dog walking n picnicking. What a beautiful space
A. J.
For jogging is good, a little muddy i few spots but ok to run. Ecology centre (mile end park) is doing the walk in lateral flow covid test, you can just do one when you go past it. You get your results in 30mins via text or email.
R. A.
Nice park and big, but at times scary as you have bikes speeding along and gangs of youth deep in the park
T. I.
Nice park, a good place to spend your spare time for a couple of hours...
T. W.
Nice park, has a playground area for kids, a few benches here and there, lot's of greenery. In the summer months I've seen people put down mats and tan. People walk they're dogs here and jog. Not safe at night however, please be careful after dark.
G. C.
Beautiful oasis in the city, very active. (Would be nice if the city increased the maintenance rotation for the park as rubbish bins are often left overflowing for days. But that's minor compared with everything else good about Mile End Park.) Great place to get your green fix, bring the kids, take long walk or a run, or attend one of many events held here. Also, Mile End abuts Victoria Park, which is also a fantastic city park, and the Regents Canal.
j. g.
Great park a lot of activities . Lovely walks including the tow path. Victoria Park also close by . Fantastic 👍
I. B.
With the canal running alongside, and the ample space available, the park is wonderful. Lots of variety to the spaces too, not just a square field. Only niggles is signage is weathered and not easy to tell if you are on the cycle track or pedestrian path--that keeps things kind of exciting. Yikes

safe and nice place to visit.

Very easy to get lost and the tennis court is always locked when I go there.
T. F.
Beautiful park close to Mile end station and shops very good bus links
d. w.
A pleasant oasis in the middle of city
D.
Mile End Park....is just amazing. Take yourself away from the traffic and walk through the park, along the canal and see the house boats and experience river life. Beautiful place to go to enjoy nature and some peace, in the city.
D. G.
Public green Park with a little lake siding a water channel, close to Queen's Mary University, London area is east London.
T. F.
Nice stretch of green beside the regents canal. The water pool near mile end road should be restored and maintained, now it's abandoned. It would benefit for a reduction in car traffic along mile end road.

Check out the walking path from mile end to the olympic park ! Its great ! Relaxing! Refreshing !
S. K.
Mile end park is great for walks as a couple, with your family or just with friends.
There is a play area for children and a small tubkshop for snacks, drinks etc... Food shops are literally just across the street so it is a wanderfull place to spend the afternoon...
Beautiful greenery, easy to social distance from other members of the public. Highly recommend it
V. N. (. V.
Grear space for picnics and sun during #summer, #parkrun on saturdays and sundays for adults and kids respectively. Great scenery. Fantastic for #runners and #joggers. By the #canal #playground
G. 0.
Nice park with water feature, the park takes you straight back into the Regents canal.
M. W.
Mile End Park is a nice green space with a small bit of woodland hiding, and reducing the noise level of, a major railway line.
s. s.
It's a great place to visit during the summer and it's a great place to have a picnics
S. L.
Well kept, spacious park with lots to do, but for the life of us, we couldn't find the toilets.
Especially lovely was the small restaurant with awesome food and very chilled vibe.
T. F.
Beautiful park close to Mile end station and shops very good bus links
J. B.
It's a lovely place to walk my dog.
J. M. N.
Liked the park alot was a nice walk along the canal
J. K.
We need dog wardens out fining the oh so so many dog owners not picking up their dog mess. Come on think of those wanting to sit down and the kids.
I see you pretending to be on your mobiles etc while the dog drops its load.
If I could be allowed to fine these offenders and other litter bandits in general i'd be a millionaire within 3 years.
Australia can do it so why cant we.
R. A.
Beautiful place, especially during the golden hour.
B. M. E.
Super peaceful and chill park.
My favourite part is the green bridge, that crosses Mile End Road, it's easy to forget the buses, cars and bikes running beneath you.
Truly a not so hidden gem
M. H.
Mile End Park is the life of Burdett Road, Bow Common Lane, Union drive and surronding area. Great place for kids and children play, fun fair and other activities for community. Located just opesite Citi Lord Estate agent. Don't miss the free apple from the tree.
A. R.
A reasonably sized green oasis in a built up area. This is well maintained by Tower Hamlets, (bless them), and is pretty clean, spacious, safe and essentially a great place to meet. No play equipment, but a number of picnic benches scattered around, (as in, logically placed, not wrenched out of the ground by a cockney tornado).
B. S.
Nice park with plenty of shops surrounding the park.
S.
Just a normal park to feel free it's probably not safe at midnight
P. P.
Nice park along the river with the boats. Very nice to spend your afternoon with your partner or with your kids.
I spent my birthday day there during the isolation. Beautiful memories to remember. Best part is from Mile end up to Victoria Park.
M.
This is my local. It's been great to see so many people making the most of it lately. It's right by Mile End station and easy to get to. there's a lot of places to get food on the other side of the road and the whole park backs onto the canal. Everything is really well looked after. I've been cycling round it, walking through it for years. The field gets messed up by the fun fair and the holes don't get filled in but right now, it's looking good! A couple of traditional park benches and more bins would be an improvement.
M. I.
safe and nice place to visit.
N. R.
Great green space and plenty of areas to explore. You can walk all the way to regent's park along the canal if you love walking.
K. S.
All great! Duckling season full on 🐥
G. A.
I went Art pavilion in Mile End Park for Vaccination , I go little bit earlier than my appointment time so I have time to look around park is a beautiful very nice Place to walk and spend quality time there, I like to go for walks every day it's nice to be there,
V. M.
Very relaxing, almost like a little forest.
R. R.
Beautiful place in middle of the city. Every time I went there, it gave me a feeling of a soothing environment.
T.
I have great memories in this place. Nice landscaping, canals, and even a little man made hill overlooking the city
F.
Very good park with nice large open pastures.

Nice. Uni down the road. So good atmosphere

BEAUTY OF LONDON
T. D.
Lovely park for a wander around! Wooded areas as well as big, open green spaces.
D. C.
It is well kept. The only negative side is that it's long and narrow so you can hear the street noise wherever you are in the park and not having fencing dogs can run on the main road if unleashed
T.
It was great, recommend you to go with a few people.
N. R.
Great green space and plenty of areas to explore. You can walk all the way to regent's park along the canal if you love walking.
r. m.
A nice park to take a lesiurely stroll in
A. M.
Awesome spot to go for a walk or chill on the grass.
M. P. A.
Lovely local park, it is full of surprises.
S. H.
Large green space. With the canal to the rear and mile end road in front. It also has a couple skate Parkes one inside and one just past it towards Limehouse. And a kids play area and climbing frame. Only issue is last time I was there for the day could not find a public bathroom.
R. M.
A nice evening, I have spent here. The cold breeze, the nicely curated park is amazing. The park has a mosque nearby. In a way you see lights flickering on the road, busy life in the streets. On the other side of the park, you will find calm. Enjoyed my time here.
L. W.
Great for walking and relaxing.
T. D.
Lovely park for a wander around! Wooded areas as well as big, open green spaces.
J. K.
Pleasant space for relaxing walking breathing and exercising .clean safe and fits the purpose .thought i would never say it but well done to tower hamlets council.
L. P.
Close to the central line station. It's a good place to walk and run during the day.
Going towards limehouse you can find some amenities as a kartodrom a fun place for bike.
F.
Very good park with nice large open pastures.
T. B.
This is one of my favourite place to go and relax and feed the squirrels. It’s got two parts one part which is an open field and trees surrounding it, and another part which is the canal where you can go and sit on benches and either chill or eat some food. This is a big park so you have loads of space to have time to yourself. No dogs about which could be a bonus for some. And there’s a few local food places if you get hungry.
B. O. G.
Be careful at night times, as beautiful and green as this place may be during the day, at night it's full of loitering underground salesmen and petty thieves. Events such as funfairs are held here from time to time , and even some festivals take place where they also setup small stores by the river.
Overall id rate 4.5 stars but the crime that takes place here is high during nightfall, there are only a few lights, some paths lead in through the woods which I would avoid at all costs.
Enjoy during the day,
Avoid at night.
L. V.
A lovely park at the back of the art pavillion. It's like an oasis in the city. Peaceful and nice to watch the wildlife on the water.

BEAUTY OF LONDON
H. P.
The park is good enough to go and sit for peace.
A. B.
Quite a pretty park. Enjoyable views. Shame the cyclists are inconsiderate and ride really fast on the canal path without thinking of walkers. People also come and enjoy the park and just leave their litter. The only reason I wouldn't rate it higher is the inconsiderate people that make the park less enjoyable for others. More needs to be done to combat these issues.
A. H. G.
Beautiful park with impressive landscape design. I really enjoy spending time in it. And it has a great gallery, coffee shops nearby and is only a couple minutes walk from the Mile End train station. And of course the lake and canal!
A. M.
A tranquil peaceful open space, I always use ti clear my mind and feed the ducks. One of a few places in the area that has open green spaces to enjoy
P. b. 3. c. (.
Attended a wedding and the venue was very well setup filled with natural light. It has its very own island park surrounded by the natural wildlife such as a family of swans, birds and a small lake surrounding. Staff were professional and attentive to detail of the couple to be married with full reign to decorate as they wished.
Would recommend visiting here when it has art exhibitions on display
A. M.
Awesome spot to go for a walk or chill on the grass.
M. M.
Great place full of small wonders such as the swans and the bridge. There's a few hills worth climbing but definitely not hiking level. The place is great for picnics and general lounging in the summer. There's also an outdoor gym available as well as a playground.
D. M.
You can walk near Saint Mary University along Regents Canal, Mile End Park is a lovely green space to walk through. The park is long and narrow and has been divided into several sections. The north is mainly a wildlife area with several boards giving information on the wildlife you can hope to see. It was nice to see foxes at night.
A. M.
This is a lovely city park that runs alongside a very picturesque canal. It has been landscaped and provides some interesting places to walk and relax. It also has a sports centre within it. Perhaps the most special feature is the green bridge that spans the A11 (Mile End Road). This enables you to cross the road without feeling you are every leaving the park!
T. O.
Lovely on a warm summers day. Perfect for a family with loads of space for the kids to run around.
M. S.
It's lovely to look around and relax especially when it's Local and even having to have that last covid injection where others also had theirs it was calming
g. b.
This is a hidden gem among the hustle of East London, you can have a walk along the canal or sit in the grass, only a short stroll from Victoria park. I like to take a walk on the canals during my tacho break surprising how far you can travel in London in 45 minutes on foot
S. S.
Great local to run, walk, see the nature, meet people.
K. C.
Lovely walk around the park and a good place for family fun and picnic.
S. A.
The park is under the right management I believe. It is getting better.
It is actually quite a unique park in London. Provides miles of riding and walking lanes and connects directly to Victoria park.
Summer along the canals and into the many picnic spots are just ideal soo close to the city centre.
S. C.
Lovely park to walk the dog or just to chill. Very clean and well kept and above all, very safe. There is a great kids area, a dog agility course, BMX track and also a full running track as well as football pitches and a tennis court. The park is very popular in warm weather and a lot of other dog walkers will stop and say hello and have a general chit chat while the dogs play.
M. K.
Come here for walks, exercise, great park
c. D.
Mile End Park has a very different vibe to its neighboring Victoria Park. This is a more narrow, long strip of green with very different areas. Some immaculately kept beautiful gardens, others very wild & natural. There's water features, the canal a leisure centre, go-cart track & kids play areas.
The park is an ambitious project to extent an area of green all the way to the River Thames. I hope they make it.
M. a.
Such a nice place for walking, exercising and also spending some quality time with friends and family.
C. S.
Nice place to relax for a picnic (tho find the right place) with lots of other places to see - regents canal, ragged school museum, ecology centres, leisure centre and lots of eateries and bars,
L. F.
Ideal space to play and relax. Can get really busy. Near a busy road.
W. C.
Very nice place i'am there ecery day to feed the swam...
S. M.
Mile End Park is okay. Strangely undulated with a zigzag of pathways and a series of intriguing pavillions which can seem almost abandoned. The park stretches on and on along the canal yet seems strangely abandoned at times. Different maps suggest there are public toilets here or there, but I've never found any.
r. m.
A nice park to take a lesiurely stroll in
A. M.
Quite a chill park with the occasional night time mugging.
J. F.
Beautiful sculped park, feels like a real oasis in the city. Even though it has the feel of a man made space you can still feel relaxed and with nature. There are insects flying around and it's great as a diversion from walking along the canal!
P. L.
Very popular greenspace especially in the summer
M. A.
Wonderful large area with loads of green space.
K. A.
Do my run here is an excellent choice. Lots of lovely people. Can sometimes be lots of litter but overall an excellent place to relax and exercise.
N. S.
There are a few paths that run through the park. The one alongside the canal is the nicest. It's a relaxing park with lots of trees and vegetation but still not as nice as other parks in London.
A. V.
A very nice and calm park. You can ride a bike there or just walk. A lot of squirrels are there
I. L.
Pleasant urban park running along the east bank of Regent's Canal in Tower Hamlets, from Poplar to Victoria Park. There is an ecology park, with rushes and varied aquatic life. Cross Mile End Road using the Green Bridge or the canal tow path. Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park is a short walk away east. Tredegar Square in Bow is worth a detour, with gardens surrounded by the mostly Georgian houses.
A. I.
Mile end park is a linear park , which has been created on land devastated by WW2. Park follows regent's canal from Victoria park to limehouse basin. Is really great space for walk and lay down in sunny days. The park has a pavilion where is possible to assist to gallery shows and exhibitions. The park has maps and audio walks for people with disabilities.
L. M.
As close to countryside in london as your likely to find. The canal is the top draw.
L. R. H.
Absolutely lovel park situated near the canal.
Lots of exciting things going on such as craft fairs. Lovely to see all of the canal boats parked up alongside one another, finished in a rainbow of colours, all with wonderful names.
Quite a big park but I didn't get round it all. The Crown pub is opposite which boasts a delicious gourmet menu.
M. G.
Lovely place to relax and eat. Also has a Local leisure Centre, Where you can do a ton of activitys. Such as Using the Gym, Swimming, Sauna and Jacuzzi. They also have a football field with trak and allsorts.
D. M.
Nice, clean, fun. You can rest and you can play...all in one. Great way to Hackney, the most artistic place in London. Unmissable.
M. A.
A large park with canal walls there is also a small play area for young children
S. A.
Surprisingly peaceful since it runs along the main road. The canals are pretty nice to walk down by too but steer clear of the weed smokers unless the smell is your cup of tea.
B. T.
A very beautiful park along the Regent' s canal, with a kids playground and a few small uphills / downhills. There is a park run (5km) every Saturday morning at 9 if you fancy the motivation of a group run without too much pressure! And if you walk / run northwards along the canal you'll end up in Victoria Park :)
K. G.
Fun little place to take the kids on a mini beast hunt, or take a walk down the canal.
G. M.
Beautiful green area for the people of Mile End

Has changed in the last 30 years....was more open space which was nice, but there are a lot more facilities as the leisure centre, urban adventure and dome of the open space left where you can enjoy a gather ...stroll and picnic on nice days
W. W.
Best place to R&R in MileEnd. If you go in the morning you can practice yiur favorit sport in open air and if you arrive by evening, you can practice your skills in avoiding weed dealders. So is an educational place for everyone..
A. O.
I did my wedding in here... awesome experience
A. K.
nice open space. has a variety of shops close by. perfect for sun bathin( if the suns out). has a cycle path so can ride your bike.
p. j.
Lovely outdoor space with pleasant walls along the canal.
A. K.
Like that park. Always people around and plenty of different sceneries
A. D.
Mh well organized but not clean and a bit unsafe during the night
C. S.
Nice park, very relaxing in what is a rather busy area (I suppose that's all of London). Good spot for a picnic and lots of little shops to grab a quick coffee or snack!
A. B.
Nice green place with mellow terrain-level changes for descents with skateboards and scooters, and scenic views over and to he side of a canal. Bike lanes are not quite delimited, and especially near the water, where the path narrows, congestion might happen.
C. B.
If you like canals and dogs you’ll like Mile End park. The route along the canal runs up to Victoria Park which is a great little walk.
j. b.
Laid out in themed segments along the eastern bank of the Regent Canal comprising a diverse complement of amenities including amongst others, a pub, ecology centre, garden bridge and a climbing wall. Eventually leads on to Victoria Park. Reasonably maintained and pleasant in most of the areas but a whisper of disquiet flits about in the air. Be mindful.
H. R.
The gym is £30/month and is a decent size even though the weight area is a bit small. The rest of the center is made of a racing track, a pool, and courts. It's a good place for all sports activities.
M.
Cool park
A. S.
Mile End Park is really place to visit for stroll and get away from the industrial East London vibe. The Park is nicely connects to Victoria Park offering a long stretch of green space combined with some a few modern eco features, whilst also running along the canal.
The canal is fairly stagnant (as many tend to be) so isn't the most pleasing, but there is usually a spattering of canal boats around to give it a bit more character.
In the summer most of the park feels safe whilst there is still sunlight; not sure if autumn/winter have the same feel.
N.
Im in the middle with this park as it has soo much potential and is actually a beautiful outdoor space. The idea of the stream and fountain is lovely minus the beer cans, litter and green scum floating on top. Only saw a small part of the mile end area and the sun was going down so we didn't spend more than 30/40 mins here. Also although it didn't bother me I can see how it might intimidate others walking past groups of men smoking skunk, drinking beer and just basically being there watching your every move.
A. P.
Lovely park with rare and unusual plants from around the world. I love the community involvement and spaces this park offers to everyone.
d. w.
A pleasant oasis in the middle of city
T.
It's a good local park that has an historical background. Good place to job, cycle, suntan or have a picnic. It's quite large and has the canal close by.
R. H.
I was surprised just how well thought out this whole area is. Well worth the effort to get here. Can be enjoyed as part of a Regents Canal walk. Lots of interesting features to be seen.
G. W.
Very nice, very linear park, stretching lazily out alongside the Regents Canal. I've never really investigated which Mile this is the End of though.
I. C.
A very beautiful park to relax and gather one's thoughts.
J. S.
Mile end Park is about a two mile stretch of green tuning along the canal. There are picnic areas play parks. A swimming pool, walk climbing centre, a pub and a running track. It's had a green bridge with tree that cross the main road.
S. K.
It's a park ... I didn't go there
I. G.
Fantastic park - nice & quiet area in the middle of chaos!
J. O.
My experience here was one that was very tranquil and relaxed. I went on a sunny day where the birds were singing and the squirrels were playing, and where people were relaxing on the grass and others were cycling past.
S. K.
always love to spend time there
R. H.
This park is good to go to with family and friends as well as kids and cycling as well
M. P.
Nice grounds when you walk the full length of the park set out in zones which is quite good, plenty of seating available around the grounds and various sporting equipment set up around as well, there's an ecology park as well as set out formal gardens, the area is kept clean and tidy and the maintenance of the grounds is kept up, overall a nice relaxing place to take a stroll or sit down
G. B.
Thank god for the open green space in London best city in the world fact
A. A.
This fantastic Park means you can walk from Limehouse to Hackney all in green space and only having to cross one road.
S. J.
So lovely walking along the tow path. Love seeing the boats and the water. And some of the sculptures are poignant re Poppy month
A. A.
When I feel like a walk I often end up going there. The pare is reasonably large and there are different paths to chose from. You can keep at flat ground, take the hilly paths or even walk my the canal.
D. B.
Walk along the canal, explore and feed the wildlife, chill on the beautiful grass or climb at the Mile End Climbing Wall.
So much to do in this amazing park!
N. A.
Great park in Mile End east London. Easy to get to with public transport, cycle and parking options. Local leisure centre with swimming and football and other sports available

l. c.
Isn't a place to visit... is just a green space for local people
H. T.
Blackberry picking along the canal is a great way to spend a sunny afternoon. There are loads of different bits to this park and you can also find the famous Palm Tree pub for a cold drink next to the water.
M. M.
Only cycled the park sections. Very pleasant. Lovely.
A. S.
Nice view.
B. T.
Very clever and tidy with great views all and the canal running 🏃♂️along side of it
s. s.
good place. easy access to transports. Nearby restaurants. If you like asian cuisine, they are heaps all around. There is park as well mile end park. Westfield is 15mins away on a bus at Strathford.
M. S.
A real treasure within Dalston market. This place had more fabric that I could imagine. Amazing cottons, tons of patterns, lace, wool yarns, haberdashery, lace! And they were so nice and helpful! Don't let yourself be fooled by the battered front and its faded paintwork, go in and be surprised.
a. o.
Need to explore, nice for day out, picnic. Relaxing walk and view.
C. G.
Very good childrens play area however, its catered to older children so my 3 yr old did not enjoy it as much. Its very clean and well maintained.
N. L. (.
Nice. Uni down the road. So good atmosphere
S. P.
Cute park, lots of interesting things to see. Bridge. Separate cycle and pedestrian paths. Canal walk. Ecology section. Really lovely!
B. D.
The park is cleaned almost everyday by volunteers, but some people keep disrespecting it. It's a beautiful view, nontheless.
H. F.
Not the biggest but my favorite park in London. Very quiet, spacious, kids have lots of fun here.
D. G.
A pleasant park with sport facilities to the South. A segregated cycle and pedestrian path traverses the park from North to South.
T.
It was great, recommend you to go with a few people.
W. S.
A pleasant surprise in a not-so-nice area. Great variety of trees and a little wildlife in the form of tons of grey squirrels.
S. B.
Really well kept park with loads of activities and a chilled canal walk for Sunday's. Also a park run meeting at the mil end station at 9am every Saturday morning with about 100 people running for free.
K. S.
Vast meadow. Very good for outdoor activities.
K. I.

Peaceful and serene place to unwind

S. E.
Great park worth a visit. Go to the Gardens what a view from that hill. Few steps up... Good exercise 😉👌
E. B.
Massive park. Great for walk and exercise but not for being constantly spied on by police
N. C.
This could be turned into a beautiful space if the council decided to spend money on it. As things are, it's streun with the litter and the canal has an unhealthy layer of scum which looks like pea green soup!
W. G.
Fantastic inner city park with plenty of wildlife and interesting creatures... Birds, bugs and everything else
T. G.
Wonderful, a top park. It is good they leave overgrown spots for nature. They should leave more.
A. M.

The park now consists of a number of elements (running north-south): The Play Arena - for children, The Ecology Park - including a lake, an ecology building, wind turbine and climbing wall, The Arts Park, The Green Bridge, The Terraced Garden, The South Park, Adventure Park, Sports Park - including the Mile End stadium, Kirk's Place and The Children's Park. Nearby are an extreme sports centre and an electric Go kart track.

Beautiful sculped park, feels like a real oasis in the city. Even though it has the feel of a man made space you can still feel relaxed and with nature. There are insects flying around and it's great as a diversion from walking along the canal!
T. d. C.
A nice place to walk or ride through instead of using the road
A. S.
