Reviews of Mint Street Park
T. T.
A beautiful landscaped little park.
G. R.
Small but nice, easy to keep an eye on kids if you have more than one
A. R.
sited corner of marshalsea road and southwark bridge road it's a medium sized park with astro turf football pitch, purpose built exercise equipment onsite, on the far end corner there is a children playing area with in house kids activities also nice gardening area with landscape garden.
S. Z.
Great for taking the dog for a walk (must be on the leash) and there is a little outdoor fitness area if you want a bar for pullups. There is also a cool little kids play zone.
N. b.
Nice place to eat lunch in the sun ☀️
T. D.
Open park gym equipment stuff for kids and basket ball court as well 9/10
D. G.
Lovely little park behind borough station. Perfect for a quick dog walk
S. S.
Do outdoor gym here. Good range of equipment. Doesn't get locked at dusk which is a big bonus. Bars for doing dips would be a nice addition.
j. a.

I. L. (. G.
Just park is good for the local people that don't want to use an indoor gym but want to stay healthy, there is an outdoor gym. It's a vital greenspace, situated quite in-between Bankside and Borough.
S. P. M.
Lovely little park at the back of the Borough tube station. Everyone friendly and chatty.
F. Y.
Nice place for children to play safetly.
S. C.
Very good place to be honest i Wouldn’t recommend taking really little children because there are some people who are abit crazy or there are some bad people in that park but overal it is really good!
A. M.
Great park, nicely maintained
J. P. M.
Wonderful resource for the local community on the site of a Victorian Children's hospital. Well tended gardens, good open space for personal fitness practice and a great little Children's playground well loved by kids from the local primary schools.
Y. N.
This little gem has so much to offer! Good size green lawn and plenty of seats for those who prefer to stay away from the ground. It has a little amphitheatre/ stage, outdoors gym, fabulous kids playground and beautiful landscaping with lots of plants. It transforms with different use throughout the day so be sure you'll find something to suit you there.
A. A.
Neatly placed in the middle of two very busy streets. Good place to have your lunch after you grab it from any of the close by fast food chains. Well maintained and also boost open air gym which is a plus. I often see people practicing yoga, plato in this park around lunch time. Mind it that it gets really crowded on nice and sunny day. Popular place with people working in close by offices.
j. p.
Great little park! Adventure playground it's perfect for older kids!
S. P.
Really nice park that gets a little crowded around weekday lunch time but there's always some space somewhere so don't fret. Gets great sunshine in Spring too. Off the main road makes it relatively quiet and peaceful in terms of traffic noise.
J. S. 1.
Recent renovated park, it is a medium park located in the heart of central London, with short walking distance -4 to 6 minutes -from the Borough underground station. This park has a renovated area playground, beautifly conceived for children. Additionally you will find a free use table tennis to teach how to play to your son / daughter, or simply to practice with a friend. Probably the downside is that this park does not offer a cafeteria service or snack place within the park. Saying that, you will not suffer from abundant places around in a short distance to go and enjoy a sandwich, coffee, or a piece of cake. Nice place to go with family and friends to play, especially if you have little angels or little monsters. This place will take the energy of both children and adults. Recommended.
E. D.
Shard view park, a few areas to chill in the sun (what sun 🌞 lol). Some gym equipment machines to do some exercises if you are inclined to.
C. S.
Went there on a very emotional visit. The park is on a site of a former Poor House which my Grandmother was taken into at the age of 2. Incredible to stand on the exact same site almost 110 years to the day. A lovely park and they have made the site wonderful. It dates back to Tudor times and reallt wish there was some sort of display, plaque or something showing the history. Loved it.
S. H.
A really lovely little park in SE1 family friendly and had outdoor gym facilities. Really beautiful maintained flower beds. A lovely little green area a stone throw away from borough market.
M. W.
Very Good local Park has good facilities for kids. An astro turf pitch and a small adventure playground
R. S.
I spent the day at Mint Street Park during the music festival, and I love there laid-back atmosphere. The music was very diverse. The only bathrooms nearby were port-a-potties or gas stations, though.
S. k.
Great little park not far from Borough station. Not over packed when the sun was out, outdoor gym, plenty of picnic spots, small playground, and a fenced concrete footie pitch.
m.
Wonderful local park with kids play area and a local children's centre nearby. We'll maintained, safe and nicely designed with an area that has stepped seating for outdoor performances
A. L.
Nice little park and great lunch spot!
J.
Today was only a fleeting visit to Mint Street park to walk the dog! She loves it there. As usual, when the sun's out, the park is quite busy.
Being located where it is, with Marshalsea Road to one side & Southwark Bridge road on the other, the park is amazingly peaceful.
J. H.
A lovely little park that the local council have obviously done a lot to develop. A great place to sit and read in the sun. Very family friendly too.
A. T.

D. S.
Great Park. Has a gym. Nice sitting terrace area with views of the Shard. Maintained well with plenty of flower beds.
A. A. R.
Nice small park in the core of the city. Designed as some kind of outdoor theatre. The downside: for some reason is full of pigeons.
j. b.
Small, landscaped and maintained to a high standard this small park with tiered seating, an outdoor gym, and playground reinvented for the public benefit.
Well done. Mission accomplished here.
D. P.
Nice little park near Borough Tube. Lots of seating along the edges of the lawns
p.
Decent for body training as it has a free outdoor gym. Good for criminals on the run as well. 18th June criminal climbed onto roof of 2 story building. Criminal wasn't found yet.
M. A.

A. B.
Nice and clean park, perfect to relax and get some sun! There is a fitness spot, a football field and some games for kids

I've heard there were scary graffitis on the wall, but my terriffication was kept to a minimum. Nice place, maybe too much white English flesh on display on a summers day tho.
D. A.

K. W.
Not bad little play area for like 5 and under nice open space not the best.
G. C.
A little bit of tranquility in the centre of the concrete jungle.
c. c.
Small open space, surrounded by a wall which shields the main road to some extent. Good place to walk a dog or have sandwich.
Q.
A great community within a busy place. A nice place to walk into to escape from car fumes. Also has a really nice garden!
t. f.
Absolutly nutss. Nice picture

S. P.
Bit of green space in largely residential/commercial area. As good a place as any to whack down a Tesco £3 meal deal.
L. C.
Nice quiet place just far enough away from Southwark Street to eat lunch peacefully and not overcrowded except a little at lunchtimes currently
C. F.
Convenient for a break in good weather. Sit on the terraces if dry. Interesting establishments nearby, some of which serve food and drink.
M.
