Reviews of St. James's Park
F.
Quite a lovely park, not as big as hyde or kensington park. Maybe it's an advantage, on a lovely day most people go to a bigger park while St. Jame's Park there's still lots of space to picknick. If you're looking for a nice greenspace n London and you're around, take a stroll there and enjoy yourself.

It's not a bad station. Loses a point because there's no wheelchair accessibility. Loses another point for the lack of staff. You can almost always see tourists needing help. The platforms provide full access to the trains unlike other stations where some train doors don't open. I also recommend getting off at this station instead of Westminster (if you're coming from the west) and you can have a nice pit stop at Strutton Ground, which always has nice food stalls during lunch on a weekday.

One of my fav Royal park in London city. What a beauty all around. Love lake side area and the view of Buckingham Palace. Colours everywhere in spring season. Has a charm for everyone who came there from differ parts of the world.

One of my absolute favourite tube stations. The blue and green, black and white tiling is pretty and the passages narrow and fun to shout down, get some good reverb. The District Line that serves it is also the place for fun and frolics. Just be careful there are three exits... easy to miss a friend and might wander around for up to 20 minutes looking for them

We got great, sunny weather! The birds were out and walking everywhere! When being in London, definitely a place to visit! A walk in the park and some rest in the park would be so refreshing!
Just keep in mind to follow the park rules, because the park itself is owned by the Royal family 👸🏻🤴🏻

I mean, it’s alright. At least it’s not like the northern line stations

It was a really cold and windy day in month of May. But nothing stopped us from walking down the pathways and looking at the beautiful bird life and feeding the gorgeous squirrels. Gardens were slowly coming into bloom and blossoms starting to make there appearance for spring. Saw cyclists and loads of tourists.

This is your District line option for getting anywhere. If you're looking for some quiet pubs that are away from the bane crowds this is definitely somewhere you will find that. There are number in the area and the tube is very close for either your stumble home, or your onward movement to your next destination.

Decent reception, with tolerable wait times, St. James's Park Station has both food and waiting opportunities, though going here on a weekend will suck, rush hours also cause a lot of trouble.
P. S.
The Tube was really one of the finest public transportation that I ever experience. It is efficient and much cheaper than other types of transportation. So easy to find direction, they have simple colours and names and an easy to read map. As soon as you went down the escalator you will show a sign on where the stops and where the train goes either to the right or to the left. Every car has a clear signs of order of the stops. The sign board is off the maps. You will never get confused. And very convenient to go everywhere! No traffic at all. I really love riding in public transpo especially The Tube.

Beautiful park which is well laid out, not fat from Buckingham palace

I lived in London for two years and this park is one of the nicest one you can find in London. It's not one of the biggest ones however is extermely charming and very close to Victoria aerea. Also you can enjoy the river and if you walk a bit more you are next to the Buckinham Palace. Enjoy it!

5 🌟,Great station and good location ! St. James's Park tube station
Not to be confused with St James Park railway station.
St. James's Park is a London Underground station near St. James's Park in the City of Westminster, central London. It is served by the District and Circle lines and is between Victoria and Westminster stations. It is in Travelcard Zone 1.
A.
Everything fine apart that this station is not working 2-5 Feb
P. P. P.
Beautiful park to visit anytime of the year but particularly beautiful in Spring. Get to see the pelicans and remember to take nuts to feed the squirrels.
D. M.
Two exits are available for most of the time, except for the weekends but no step free access available. Trains are frequent but they can get bunched together sometimes. Mobile phone reception is possible here due to the low depth.
T. B.
District and circle station with two entrances. Small shopping centre with cafes in the station area. Best station for the park and easy walk to Buckingham palace. Station building is the headquarters of London Underground.
j. b.
Also HQ of London Underground, Grade I Listed, ostensibly London's first 'skyscraper.' Jacob Epstein's controversial "Night and Day" amongst the sculptures studding the exterior at differing elevations and some difficult to spot. The travertine-clad Art-Deco entrance foyer is worth a peek.
H. B.
Lovely location and great cafes.

Living in Miami my entire life, I've grown up in a city that arguably has the among the worst public transportation systems in the U.S. While I've had the pleasure of sampling public transportation in other American cities - NYC's and Chicago's subway, San Francisco's street trolley's, not to mention Amtrak up the east coast, I didn't know what to expect when I got to London. Would it be easy to understand and use? Would I be able to easily map the most efficient route to my next destination?
Answer to both questions... a resounding YES!
The London underground tube system is marvelous! I couldn't believe how clean the stations are from the Heathrow terminals to all the stations we came across.
I found it relatively simple to navigate the underground tube system as a first-timer to London. It's as easy as downloading the dedicated smartphone app, called Tube Map. So long as your know where you are in London and which underground station was nearest to your location and destination, you are in great shape.

St. James is always a great spot, full of restaurants, hotels, shops, and great atmosphere. This is the home for TFL and the Ministry of Justice but also links with Buckingham Palace.
J. F.
One of London's best parks. Lots of wildlife and great views of Buckingham palace and Whitehall.

It was built in 1868; important reconstruction and expansion works were carried out in the first half of the twentieth century. The Art Deco architecture is very beautiful. There is a small commercial gallery.

(Translated) A beautiful park next to the Queen's Palace, where a nature reserve was created. Park is bounded by Buckingham Palace in the west, Mall in the north, Horse Guards to the east and Birdcage Walk to the south. The park is classified as class 1 in the register of historic parks and gardens of England. In the beginning there were wetlands that were drained after joining the throne in 1603. In the park were keeping exotic animals like elephants, giraffes, crocodiles, camels and many species of birds. Until today, many species of exotic birds live in the park. It is one of the most popular and visited parks in London.
