Reviews of Wimbledon Park
S. D. W.
Such a wonderful park with play areas, refurbished toilets, a lake, tennis courts, cafeteria, beach volleyball, crazy golf, a large field for walking dogs and ball games, and Horse Close Wood - ancient woodland for wildlife, peaceful walks. Dogs really love it too !
The grassy area between the tennis courts and Home Park road entrance is a great safe for small dogs and training recall for puppies.
K. S.
Best park for miles and miles around...2 kids playgrounds fit with climbing frames, sandpits and summer pool. There are the feeding of the ducks, the tennis courts, watersports, mini golf, volley ball, bowls, table tennis, large area to play football and any other sport, an Athletic track with stadium..... by far the best thing.

We went to this park for a walk after dinner. It’s such a nice exercise or walking spot.
The street leading to the park has free off-street parking after 8:30pm. The park has some parking spots as well. I think you need to buy a ticket.
There are tennis court, mini-golf, table tennis, volleyball court. There is a pond for rowing as well. The trails are perfect for running and walking.
High recommend if anyone keen on outdoor sports or group party 🎉
S. C. R.
I just love this park, has a bit of everything. Has coffee shop, has playgrounds, has tenis courts, has mini golf, has "beach" handball court and my favourite the lake. I just love to seat and watch the swans and ducks going around. It's worth to visit
Z. M.
What a hidden gem! Absolutely worth a visit for anyone. Beautiful formal gardens, including a fairy-tale-like rose garden with a fountain in the middle. Good area of woods and wildflower fields too. Great place for kids, dogs, cats (our case! 😊) or anyone really.
G. B.
A park full of entertainment. From baby park to kids park. Splash pool, lake to feed birds, crazy golf, tennis courts, football green, athletic track, soft play, volleyball set up. Cafe, toilets.. catch my drift 😂
A. S.
Loved the variety of things to do in this park. From where I entered, there was the Wimbledon tennis academy (so lots of tennis courts), and a designated children’s play area with swings and slides.
Further on, there’s also the lake which is beautiful and calm, and has got lots of benches along the edge. There’s a duck feeding area too.
Also noticed a mini golf area.
There’s a lot of area in the park that I haven’t explored. Would definitely like to visit again.
R. R.
Beautiful oasis in my neighbourhood. I’m so grateful that this park exists and it’s so well maintained. This park kept me sane during the lockdowns. Always a pleasure to visit. Gorgeous space.
P. M.
Nice park with a lake, mini golf and other activities, as well as a small cafe. Parking can be bad, so I'd recommend walking there if you can, or get public transport. Wimbledon Park underground station is less than five minutes away.
R. V.
Great park, lovely area of London to enjoy with the whole family. Great facilities available.
D. C.
There are two play areas for children, one aimed more at younger children (the area with a bus) with the other having more advanced apparatus for older children. Both areas do however accommodate in one way or another for all children so it's win win really. Seeing the swans and ducks was also a hit for my daughter. The remainder of the grounds are picturesque and would be great for long summer days
D. H. W.
This is our regular daily park . I walk my dogs here. People are nice . You have a cafe. Tennis courts. Tennis ,big pond. But when it rain omg its flooded . I avoid it as my god gets triple mud everywhere. Summer is defo a favourite. Lovely picnic here.
N. G.
This is a very nice park. I particularly enjoyed the pond with lots of birds there, from swans, ducks, gulls to pigeons. There are benches around the pond where you can sit and enjoy the view, with the sun coming at your face on a sunny day. Of course, on a nice weather day it is a bit crowded, however, there are other spots to walk around and big green spaces.
E. S.
Beautiful park with reasonable parking fees, 3 playgrounds, tennis courts, volleyball, boating lake and excellent cafe. Plenty of green spaces for sports and seats when you need a break!
L. J.
It's a really clean and beautiful park with a really nice playground for kids. I take my kids there very often and they love it.
N. W.
It's a great place for young children. There's a large playground with different activity frames for different ages and a 5x8m sandpit.
There's also a smaller separate playground for toddlers in another corner of the park.
There's the lake with plenty of ducks and birds to feed (no bread please!) and there's a large cafe in the Pavillion in the middle of the park.
There's a "water garden" with small waterfall and ponds, that our 4yo loves to play around.
And everything is very well kept and cleaned by the friendly park maintenance team.
박.
Almost everyday I walk and run at this park. I love it💕
S. S.
Love this place, you an spend good time with your family , friends and pets .

My son and I absolutely love Wimbledon park as it has two playgrounds full of fun things to do. They also have a funfair there certain times of the year.
The thing I love most of all is the cafeteria!! I especially enjoy the nuggets, chips and peas. The nuggets are the best nuggets I've ever had!!! Also the staff and owner are all so friendly and helpful.
D. A.
So grassy and green all around, its very good for the kids to play around ! Was good experience to be there and some nice houses around too !
Z. S.
Great park with lota of space. Playground has much to offer as well as tennis courts, beach volley ball and a large pond with lots of water fowl. I believe there are also public restrooms but not 100% sure.
A. C.
Good place for picnic. Lots of dogs and kids around. Perfect during a good day out.
S. P.
Great park, with two kids playgrounds, sand pit, paddling pool, tennis courts, café, toilets, a big lake, lots of space to walk.
K. D.
Big open green space but can get very wet in winter. Handy cafe and public toilets near the children's playground.
S. L.
The remaining part of the Cecil’s C16th country park which used to surround the Elizabethan palace located where Ricard’s Lodge school now stands. A lovely park which I’ve enjoyed for a good sixty years. The gardeners aren’t as good as they used to be but they are giving it a try which is more than they did throughout the 80s and 90s. Always a nice experience to wander through.
R. G.
Great park with nice playground for kids, cafe and lake!
S. L.
Our first visit to Wimbledon Park after lockdown. There are so many things to explore for my little one.Blossoms are flourishing. And there is a funfair ongoing as well!
M. R.
Now I try and have a walk around the park every morning before work. It's a beautiful and relaxing place for a stroll. Always lots of folk around if you just fancy a spot of people watching
L. D.
Wonderful open space; perfect place to be on a sunny day.

The Lake looks beautiful and colourful. There are lot of Activities to do including playing Tennis 🎾 and Golf

Huge park with water sports, tennis courts, golf course, park cafe, playgrounds etc. Great for queuing For Wimbledon tennis finals.
Underbelly Street eat festival was on this summer with great food stalls, live music and fully stocked bar with good range of beers and ciders including local breweries in London. And a Pimms Bus 🚌!
J. F. -. B.
Tranquil location to unwind enjoy a picnic or use the park cafe, thou they do not allow food other than theirs to be consumed on the premises.
Very reasonable priced and friendly staff on hand
With in the park is a bowling green, kids play area, water features a sailing club, A large car park, public Loo's, there is even a police station,
Very wheelchair accessible throughout
B. G.
I have never been here before and now my visit in 2019 will greatly enhance my televisual viewing of these great tennis championships. What an atmosphere on Court 1 for the ladies doubles semi finals! The whole day spent here was an incredible experience that will live long in my memory. If you get the opportunity to attend, don't hesitate to go!
Z. S.
A nice local park, where you can play tennis gi sailinfld in the lake and a convenient coffee and a mini golf area
R. S.
A very nice walk around a lovely park with a lot going on and a very nice Cafeteria and good clean toilets.
A. I.
Great park with lake and water sport centre, large kids playground, tennis courts, cafe serving nice food and ice cream (quite expensive).
Good to visit with kids, just don't forget to take some bread with you to feed swans
C. P.
Lovely place for a picnic or an ice-cream with some live music in the background. The pond is aa little smelly at certain points, but could still enjoy its pretty views
S. P.
A beautiful park in Wimbledon! It's huge with a playground, cafe, volleyball courts, children's play area, lawn tennis courts, mini golf and rose walks. It has a big lake on one side with ducks and swans in it. The views of this lake and the surroundings are amazing. On a good summer day, people come in big groups and barbeque along the playground. It's a good place to walk your dog as well. This park borders the all too famous tennis courts of Wimbledon. Taking the tube to Wimbledon park station and a short 10 minute walk brings you to one end of the park. There are toilets located at this end near the children's play area. The rose walk along the volleyball and golf areas is well maintained and beautiful.
K. B.
Large park with a variety of facilities including golf putting, a lake, tennis courts, football, a small landscaped garden and a woodland walk.
S. G.
Always great to come for a few sets. The new astro dries up quick, so great for winters. And if not tennis, the parks fantastic for a run, other than the 2 weeks of the tournament.
S. E.
Beautiful happy place with a lively pond and birds flying above. I loved it.
V. I.
It's an amazing place. Beautiful lake , 3 playgrounds ,crazy golf, volleyball playground cafeteria, tennis courts and much more .
S. D. G.
Had our South African Heritage Day Break here and it was fantastic. Parks for the kids.. little restaurant for a snack. Great day!
D. S.
Once in a lifetime, one must try to attend Wimbledon. Similar to other Grand Slam tournaments, the earlier matches are festive and fun. Plenty of opportunities to meet players, interact and watch other matches with them. Always buy tickets in advance, eat in advance as the food is pricey and of okay flavor and quality. Prepare for a long walk to the stadium, about 15-20 minutes from the train station and it will be very hot so pick the right stadium of the stadium depending on WHEN you go. And wear white!
O. S.
Awww, this park is among one of the most beautiful parks I've been to this side of London.
Lively, lots of activities, tennis courts, proper spaces for chilling with family and friends &&& a beautiful lake overlooking the city!
I. O.
Well, Wimbledon is beautiful and so open and green! A great place for a chilled Sunday pub but also if you're a fan of the tennis, I suggest you make your way in late June/early July to really make the most of the weather, atmosphere and, of course, world-class sport!
N. S.
Lovely outdoor space in the heart of Wimbledon. Plenty of activities for all. Enjoyed the crazy golf with friends
M. G.
This is nice place to visit on weekends.... There are good number of lawns and saw many playing tennis....a big nice lake with cute birds..you can feed also. There's a cafeteria to enjoy snacks n coffee. Also there's a small fountain cum swimming pool for kids.... Enjoy a trip to this park.
g.
Love it there. Enjoy playing tennis every week. Artificial grass is amazing. Park is great for everyone. Tube stations both ends. Beautiful lake and other activities.
A. B.
Big park close to the tube station. Mini gold course, a dozen of tennis courts, 2 kids playgrounds and a cozy cafe. Would be overcrowded during tennis championship days.
S. B.
Great family park..playground crazy gold..tennis and a cafe..lake..and dog friendly...but can be quite muddy when wet...in the summer you can use their barbecue..
I. C.
A lovely park that has lovely fields , athletic track , river with water sports in summer, not to mention kids play areas and the iconic tennis courts! New editions to the park is crazy golf , beach volleyball and not to forget seeing the ducks and Swans! Always a welcome family outing!
K. L.
Amazing park! Great for the kids and adults. My kids had an amazing time in the water play area, spent most of the day there but there is also a reasonably priced cafe, a beautiful lake and if your feeling sporty there’s tennis and crazy golf, although the crazy golf badly needs repairing and an upgrade. Will definitely be back when the kids are off school term and the weather is sunny, as this is the only time the water park is available and also the highlight of visiting Wimbledon Park.
D. D.
Wimbledon Park is always a pleasure to walk through with plenty of amenities for both adults and children
T. A.
Was at a Car Event invited by my friends, I am part of a Classic Car Club there are 67 members, 7 of us are ladies. The park has alot to offer a great lake as far as the eyes can see. Grass everywhere. A cafe and tennis courts and a Beach Volleyball space.
d. g.
Lovely well kept park.. Good cafe with plenty to choose from. Tennis Courts, Boating Lake. Lots to see & do
J. P.
A beautiful park in Wimbledon not far from the famous Tennis courts, there is an athletic stadium, tennis courts of course, and a lake to hire boats, canoes, there are many species of birds from Ducks to Swans on the lake. A rather busy park with lots of families, there is a cafe to refresh one, serving teas, coffee and light beverages. There is a car park and on road parking facility available.
N. M.
Lots of space and greenery for kids/dogs . Lake with ducks and playpark. Just nice for a leisurely stroll
A. A.
Good atmosphere. Beautiful and clean place, polite stuffs. Very very organised. I just had an amazing day.
S. M.
Everything their for the family. Cafe for ice creams, fries, sandwiches etc. Lake where ducks can be fed and play park with swings and climbing equipment
F. P.
For walking lovers, there is possibility to explore mushrooms as well, you need to pick up your day licence from the office if you planning to collect up to 250 grams, remember only pick up the ones which you are confident with not to be poisonous.
L. L.
Lovely park :) been coming since a child great for all ages. Nice to see the water fountains for the children open again
S. W.
Good tennis, volleyball and basketball courts but the playground areas could be more interesting. The park would benefit from more interesting landscaping. Its a big park and there's lots of space to have a picnic. There's also a big cafe serving hot and cold meals.
P. M. a.
Perfect place to take the kids and dog.
My son loves this park
K. A.
Nice place to go for walk or take kids there for play
I. N.
I recently spent friday night (07.07.17) camping overnight in order to queue to use my ground pass, of which cost £25 in cash, and watched tennis on Saturday (08.07.17). the overall experience was great as I do not usually watch tennis, but it was great to say that I have been to Wimbledon. The gift shop, however, is a little overpriced, as is some of the food as it cost £8.30 for a meal I could have got for less than £3 at KFC. would recommend however, just ensure you have lots of cash with you.
D. M.
A large green space with lots of sports and activities with 20 tennis courts, 2 beach volleyball courts, 2 children's playgrounds and a sizeable lake with a yachting club.
A. B.
The pond at the centre of the park is the best part of this place. Huge grounds to plat games and have picnics. Summers best place to go. Beautiful views and easy transport available every 5 mins.
M. B.

The park has every thing you will ever wish
I. S.
Nice green park with lots of small small features. It has a big pond and also a restaurant. Good place for picnic and spending couple of hours when the weather is good (Once corono lockdown restrictions are lifted)
On weekends you can park cars in nearby residential area.
a.
This is a lovely park with lovely big lake filled with plenty of beautiful ducks.
My kids loved coming to Wimbledon park especially to the little playground area when they were little. The restaurant there is very nice with friendly staff and there are little but beautiful areas especially for the little ones to play and explore ...
H. M. L.
Muddy in some areas of grass but very open and has clean pathways. Bins are around the whole place so no need to litter (you shouldn't be littering even if there arent any bins around anyway). Follow the government guidelines and all should be good.
A. S.
Lovely park with coffee shop, tennis courts, pond, athletics track and mini golf. Easy to get to from Wimbledon park underground station. There is minimal litter and it is well looked after. Can’t wait to be able to use more of the facilities available once lockdown restrictions ease
o. o.

Very nice place to have a jog in morning or evening with stunning views of beautiful lake having lush green backdrop of little mountain. Tennis courts available fro public are cherry on top. Must visit for locals.

O. P.
Lovely! Clean place with a lake. Nice area with coffee shops and tennis courts
P. H.
Very nice park to chill.
Have only one big problem. No to many roads to walk in the main park. There is a little bit more network of walks on the back where the minigolf and waterfall is. It is a shame that whole park is not accessible.
M. E.
I grew up over looking Wimbledon Park. It's a great place for a walk with brilliant play grounds, a beautiful lake and lovely café.
I will be a more regular visitor in due course with my grand children. Perfect!!

Calm and clean. Lot of children's play area. Beautiful vast lake having adequate facilities enabling lazy time pass or strolling. Open ground bowling area na being enjoyed by uniformed club members . Lot of fun and lawn tennis practising courts. To add few more a large country fair ground full of enjoying participants at nominal cost. Well clean public toilets. Appropriate for summer week ends.
C. E.
Nice small park, lovely pond with geese, ducks etc. Lots of people jogging. The cafeteria still offers take away and there are operating toilets. The paths are a bit narrow and if ypu donpt want to get into mud, you may find it a bit crowded. There are plenty green for ball games. The climbing walls are closed. There is a car park which may get filled quickly. However there are plenty of curb side parking spaces around the park. One of the entrance is right next to subway.
F. S.

Fantastic park, car park but don't forget to pay and display, little pond/lake swans and geese etc, to feed. Tennis courts, pitch and put payment required. Little area for small kids, swings etc. Cafe bit expensive tbh.well it is wimbledon.
R. L.
Very lovely park! My daughter always enjoys riding her bike around and getting on the playground. Clean and family friendly environment. Best attraction for us is feeding the ducks by the lake - we never get tired of it!
M. G.
Very child friendly. The coffee place has mediocre food but it's still a good resource for emergencies (and Some things are actually nice).
L. M.
Nice park, designed by Capability Brown. Mostly open space, but has a lovely woodland walk on one side which is worth seeking out
A. B.
Beautiful spot to walk or play golf!
E. S.
Went to a good festival that was hosted here. This park has a play area for kids, tennis court and a large expanse for kids to run around freely. The station is close by so it is easy accessible. Ample parking available for vehicles.
A. M.
Amazing park with lots of activities available
D. H.
Fab park, loads for kids to do. Playgrounds, lake and ducks to feed, tennis, sailing and festivals and fun fairs in the summer months
T. H.
Lovely place with great tennis courts, nice little playground for kids. Perfect for all the family.
N. 7.
Brilliant for all ages. The children's playground had a bit of a urine smell in spots. I'm guessing that's a result of the toilets and playgrounds being closed since March. Hopefully that improves soon.
S. M.
Great park for any occasion ( weather permitting)
L. j.
Beautiful place. For feeding ducks and children's play area has a sand pit. Honestly lovely place.
A. A.
Maintained park in general. The Athletic Park needs repairs to enhance local Athletics.
S. A.
A great park with a mix of open spaces, playgrounds, beach volleyball, crazy golf, bowling, tennis courts, boating lake and cafe.
C. W.
Delightful public space with tennis courts, plenty of areas to walk around and open greens perfect for a kickabout. Lots of space so no fear of coronavirus when there are people.
J. d. T.
Lots to do and see. Especially amazing for children, as there are playgrounds, water play, etc. Once you're done playing you can grab some ice cream from the local café and enjoy a wall next to the pond. Also a fair amount of sport activities happening all around.
C. C.
Stunning, amazing, family and dogs friendly, sport maniac (golf, beach volley, Olympic running track, tennis courts, cycling, football, running, kids water games, personal trainers), clean, tidy, welcoming, huge, safe with a small lake with sailing boats. Plenty of gooses, squirrels, birds. Public toilets and caffetteria available.
D. P.
Nice park very open to the elements though. The cafe side is lovely and has had a bit of a revamp also nice play area for the kids. Take plenty of bread to feed the birds on the lake but watch out as they can be savages.
K. B.
Great park, very diverse, lots to see/ keep little ones entertained. Just a little confused as most people were mot following the rules, meeting in big groups and so on
T. A.
Very nice park, lots to do with whole family. Can feed ducks and swans...would be nicer if there was no dried dog mess on grass, besides that it's great.
L. P.
I've been coming to Wimbledon Park my whole life. It's a nice little park with a lovely lake and the grounds are generally well maintained. There are plenty activities and sports you can get involved with. The cafe is expensive and the mini golf is over priced for not being very well maintained at all. Very good for dogs
A. J.
Sand pit for toddlers. Play for other ages. Many activities. Lake. Great cafe. Tennis Courts. + much more.
A. E. K.
Nice place for a family day out
R. M.
Beautiful park, it has a lake with ducks, tennis courts, children's play area etc. very well cared park
C. M.
Fabulous play area for kids especially during the summer with the water play and large open space for them to run around in. There is a cafe and toilets (not tried either) on site. Beware of the squirrels... They're quite bold and will come very close.
N. G.
Lake and nice scenic walks
N. E.
Lovely park, has a lot to offer. Two big playgroups, one with sandpit and a fountain for kids in the summer. Great cafe, offering breakfast, lunch and delicious ice cream.
It has a big pond with sailing boats. Has its own parking area, and its very cheap.
D. P.
Lovely Park it felt like spring is on the way
G. D.
Very open park, with easy access to every area. Various activities available, including sailing (on small lake), golf, tennis and children's play areas. Lots of space for dog walkers and easy access from the tube.
G. S.
Lovely park lots to do.
v.
Excellent place for families. 2 playgrounds, 6 swings, 8 tennis courts- 4 artifical grass- good quality and 4 concrete- low quality. One beautiful lake with swans and other birds and one huge grass field for picnics or football game. Highly recommended.
W. M.
Tennis courts a bit faffy to book but lovely location. Friendly people. Courts could do with a little upkeep however, particularly around court 19. Nice cafe.
S. A.
Lovely park and mainly clean, no restrooms. Lake side is really beautiful, they have ducks. Playground to the back of the park is good to visit with children and loads of ground space to play games.
B. L.
Lovely park with 2 kids play areas, one of which has a water playing area on in summer. 12 tennis courts, which you just arrive and pay and play. A lake with swans and ducks, a putt putt course, and a massive field for playing ball sports. It also has a cafe, which is good for a pizza and kids meals.
B. R.
Weather was amazing and so we're the games!
S. K.
Great local park. Space for ball games, dog walking, picnics etc. It's kept very clean despite the large number of visitors.
C.
Very nice park, good facilities for the youngest, lovely lake, only downside is the toilet facilities need work.
S.
We went to play tennis. Great amount of courts. You can have concrete or AstroTurf . Also has crazy golf. Picnic area or cafe. Lake full of ducks, geese, moorhen and coots. Two play areas for children older and younger, also a sand pit and water shoots in summer months.
I think there is something for everyone.
星.
It's a great experience to be in the queue for the tickets to the match. Very organized. Everybody looks having fun,
L. H.
Good play area for kids, tennis courts and green for picnics. Cafe near the playground. Coffees are OK.
G. R.
Very nice and clean park. Good running track.
G. F.
Lovely atmosphere great activities for all ages.
M. H.
Small park when away from the main field but fine for a short, local walk. Has good facilities for tennis and beach volleyball
В. Н.
One of the best park in SW London, spacious and a lot to offer - tennis, golf, lakeside, playground, garden area, cheap parking and 🚾, which can be improved!
C. H.
A nice park that you can play beach valley balls. However, the toilets were in a bad state. The cafe also did not have any gluten free options to eat.
M. C.
Great for beach volleyball, tennis, adventure golf and watching the wildlife up at the lake.
Т. М.
Great location!
T. A.
An extremely beautiful park in the heart of Wimbledon. Very few park has its own lake and Wimbledon Park is one of them. The lake is soothing and ducks and birds are roaming here. It has playgroud and sandpit for the childrens. It also has a tennis court and vollyball court with a nice blooming garden. I would recommend to visit at least once.
M. M.
We use the park for beach volleyball - the courts are great but it's very pricey for not having a shower and a drinking water tap close to the courts. We need water of any kind!!!
For the park in general, the toilets facilities are always dirty and smelly, they should have staff looking after it during summer days - it's by the playground where everyone gets wet.
C. E.
Wimbledon tennis, great day, and evening, a truly wonderful experience. Tennis absorbing, staff could not be more helpful.
J. H.
First time visiting here. Didn't think parking would be as bad as it was, with the car park being closed to vehicles, possibly because it was full. But no details of where else is best to park. Toilets aren't great, one toilet had toilet paper.
However, my son loved the water area. It was busy because it was hot but not as busy as it could have been so you could easily enjoy the padding pool and playground. Plenty of space to sit on the grass.
R. D.
Lots of open space for sunbathing, barbecuing, cricket etc. Beach volleyball courts, tennis courts (hard and astro), athletics track, sizable pond for sailing, canoeing etc. A great water fountain play area for children. There's a lot here. Car parking is limited though - you may have to pay & display on a nearby street if you arrive by car.
R.
Lovely park. Lots different areas such tennis and volleyball. There is a lake too
D. K.
First time going today just to check it out. Loads of green space, very clean , saw a load of people doing BBQ which smelled lovely. Kids love the water park and feeding the ducks and swans. Next time I will be taking my mini BBQ make a day of it with the family
M.
Good place to bring the family can feed the ducks play crazy golf and even got a paddling pool
M. F. R. K.
Well organised . Attended Eid prayers today and it was well organised.
Park is beautiful and clean.
E. M. D.
Should be called Wimbledon Pond during winter
m. i. f.
Great park, well maintained with great staff and the lake is a beautiful sight
C.
It's a lovely park, with tennis courts, a little stream, a big lake and plenty of paths to walk around.
A. U. K.

B. W.
A very nice space to visit.
h. d. d. h.
The pond could do with some railings as my six month old puppy nearly fell in trying to get lose bread that people are feeding to the ducks. There should be a sign saying please don't feed ducks bread.
J. K.
got a great underbelly food festival in for a month. absolutely fantastic.
M. T.
This park is very good park for walk and for casual meetings with friends.
There is very good canteen but expensive as well.
Prices should go down, so that people can spend some more time their with friend's with a coffee and snacks
J. M.
Lovely park Cafe, lake, great for children BUT will someone please explain how to park legally here !
A. A.
Peaceful, lovely roses everywhere and so relaxing.
You can spot gorgeous, green canaries on the trees in Spring
a. E.
Beautiful serenity, not so many people, so you can enjoy some quiet and peaceful alone time.
i.
Best place for famalies. Car parking is free. Lot of fun. You can also enjoy BBQ there if you have all accessories. Beauty is there in shape of birds like ducks in the water.
G.
I drove through this. looks nice enough?
J. M.
Beautiful park, great amenities, lovely lake complete with ducks and watersports. The sprinkler park is a delight for little ones, but only open mid June to early September.
P. B.
Lovely place for family day out with kid.lot todo with littleone. Would have gave 5 stars if people with dogs are more responsible for their dog's poo.
J. S.
Great park - streateat is on at the moment and they are very safety conscious re: COVID. Tennis courts, a lake, play areas for kids, and a big park space!
P. J.
Great place to visit and take the family
R. A.
Fun crazy golf course, lake is a great spot to watch sunsets. The tennis courts are okay.
G.
Great park in Wimledon. Next to golf course and famous tennis lawns. Beautiful views, nice pond and big playground area for kids.
E. N.
Very good views and many places to stay
S. B.
Amazing Park. It has a crazy nice view. The play area fo the kids is the best. It the summer days there is a paddle pool. The water is rather cool seeing its located in a half shaded area. Nevertheless its great. I couldnt name a downside to the place.
S. B.
We really love this park, there is a large field area to run around/play games, 2 playgrounds for our toddler (one with a sandpit) and then there's the café in the middle which serves ice-cream 🍦
S. A.
Plenty of playground to keep the kids busy, tennis courts, grass to lie down for a picnic Or a drink with friends.
g. r.
lovely park full of life and activities
T. T.
What is there not to like about this amazing park? So family friendly with 2 play parks (including disability friendly play equipment) a water splash zone, tennis court, sailing lake, volleyball courts, cafe and lovely places to sit and enjoy the outdoors.
A. V.
I have lived in Southfields for 12 years and though I am surrounded by parks this is still my favourite .. it offers so much but the best is the lake .. just to chill out and spend a bit enjoying the tranquility amongst the hustle and bustle of London ...
C. C.
Nice local park. Cafe (bit ropey food wise), tennis courts, two great playgrounds, one with summer fountains for kids, big field, lake sculpted by Capability Brown. Ducks and geese.
B.
Great on Bonfire night. Good tennis facilities which are lovely in the spring and summer. The playground can get pretty rammed in the summer, but overall the kids love it. There's also put put and "crazy" swans.
A. G.
Awesome place to visit. Great for kids and the lake is beautiful. Also for those Interested there's an awesome golf course and so.e chilled out fishing spots.
M. K.
Wimbledon park us a great place to go the only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the toilets there are not the cleanest but everything else amazing
K.
Nice park...but more Golf clubs then space for walks.
E. A.
Nice to place to run, however the paths are muddy and it is quite crowded with people that wonder around blocking your way through. Some tennis courts are in a bad condition still they charge for them!!
D. M.
Possibly the greatest park in the world
b. p.
Pleasant park for a Sunday bbq. Nice to see bins for hot ashes after you've finished with the bbq's. Gets busy, but nice get away place for a few hours
D. W.
One of my favourite parks for a stroll with my doggies..almost always stop for a slushy from the cafe...public toilets..plenty of free parking for Park users...always end our walk with a sit down in front of the lake
S. S.
Merton fireworks were the best yet!
P. G.
The park has all the things like large space having grass to sit in groups and have fun, lake, playing courts, swings for children, food court etc
M. C.
Beautiful and clean friendly environment lovely lake with birds loved it and my dog loved it.
N. W.
Great separate park for smaller kids. Big lovely bus for pretend play. Can't wait to go back?
W. G.
Great park and open space for everyone. Kids playground is great.
l. g.
Excellent park with water play.
Busy on sunny days, ice cream van in park (cash only) though is a cafe that except card and has a variety of ice cream.
Only disappointment is the toilets are closed maybe due to a refurbishment but there is temporary toilets that are dirty and smelly
R. A.
Brilliant for kids, toddlers and adults. So much to do. The lake, playground, tennis courts, volleyball, mini golf and more. The only let down is the cafe which is very grubby and the coffee tastes horrible.
K. L.
A beautiful day at the tennis yesterday - as always impeccably organised with fabulous staff everywhere xx
k.
New favourite park in South!!🙃
A. W.
We loved it. A great place for the family, couples and seriously sporty people. The Crazy Golf was a lot of fun.
R. K.
Small park with big open space - big hub for families on the weekend, often with full camping gear and barbecues. Worth a visit - the tennis courts and beach volleyball courts are great fun, and cheap for a group of people.
C. G.
Nice park that's very close to Southfields Tube Station. Big park with a nice lake and some wildlife. There's not much of a walk around the lake itself, just a bit of it. Also, in summer it gets packed with people having bbq's and sunning themselves, but that's normal, wouldn't be a London park if that didn't happen!
Can be quite messy sometimes because of overflowing bins and rubbish, avoid at Wimbledon Tennis Championship times for obvious reasons.
D. A.
Wimbledon park is useful for Activity as they have tennis courts A small boating lake and football fields A cafeteria but it's great Asset is A nice walk to the Wimbledon tennis courts grounds and museum world class venue it's a small park there are better parks in London
S. B.
Lots of open space, playgrounds, busy pond, sports, ice cream, and toilets. Funfair and food area over the summer.
C. B.
Lovely big park loads of space nice cafe small lake mini golf tennis great place to chill have picnic
P. B.
Surprisingly pleasant park with an array of sports facilities. The large and beautiful pond is the best part.
E. F.
Lovely Park for kids and good selection of food at cafe for reasonable prices
S. K.
Ok park, not as big as it looks on the map as most of the green area is actually a golf course. This means the bit of green that I could find was pretty packed out and the weather wasn't even that great. Screaming kids everywhere. Although they do have a crazy golf course (not that crazy though) and a cafe etc. Few dodgy looking kids on bikes riding around with their caps askew - there are much nicer parks around.
T. L.
It's a great park, feeding the ducks, swans and other waterfowl is fun for the kids as well as the play parks. Only shame was the water wasn't on as it was a really hot day.
d. f.
Beautiful lake. Large open grass area. Tennis and crazy golf. All fab. Parking charges and not many spaces.
D. P.
This is an old fashioned municipal park.Every amenity, ducks, watersports a cafe walking tennis and crazy golf..fantastic
D. K.
It's always been a lovely park, facilities are not just well maintained but continually improved & modernised as needed
b. l.

C. G.
Beautiful Lake with birds and good walks. Children's playground
C. F.
Great amenities - children's play area, tennis, bowls, beach volleyball, netball, crazy golf, a huge sailing pond and an athletics track!
A. S.
Its a nice park but there are no seating/benches
D. C.
Simply it's all what you expect from Wimbledon. Nature combined with elegance. A good place to go whenever you need a countryside scenario even if you are living in a huge city like London.
P. R. C.
A truly stunning place to visit, wide open spaces, very well kept surroundings, a lake, kids play area and very safe! Well worth a visit!
F. K.
Oh! Wimbledon Park. My love. This is an area makes South West London what South West London is. Tennis courts, playing grounds, the lake, running parkour etc. I have never heard someone has witnessed a crime.
You can have a barbecue at this park!
P. S.
Very nice park
J. M.

Amazing park for quality time with kids, friends, family. Especially in the summer when families are dotted everywhere having picnics whilst little sailboats float about the lake.
D. O.
Yes, we really like this park - lots for the children to do. Also good if you like tennis, of course. Good cafe
K. H.
Nice park with lots of tennis courts. The parking is temporarily shut, but easy to find free street parking on weekends.
A. M.
Nice park, lovely lake with wild fowl and site to watch with your cup of tea
R. V.
Line up for Wimbledon - part of the experience and makes the day that much worth it. Hopefully limited rain - bring snacks/food/water and a waterproof blanket to sit on.
J. K.
Wonderful local park with multiple amenities.
T. M.
St George’s hospital Maxillofacial unit
N. V.
A fab local park with so many facilities! While it may lack the grand scale and stunning beauty of its western neighbours, it's still very pretty and quite spacious.
The park includes a small wood, a large field, a small enclosed green, a boating lake with sailing building and compound, a bowling green with a pavilion, a mini golf course, beach volleyball courts, 10 floodlit professional standard tennis courts, 10 tarmac non-lit ones, two playgrounds for different age groups to enjoy, a running track with spectator stands and changing rooms, a cafe and a disused police station - the roof of which commands a great view of everything.
So yeah lots going on!
I highly recommend walking or cycling the Wimbledon Park Heritage Trail. It winds round the park and skirts a few of the leafy neighbouring London suburbs - on both quiet and lively roads. You'll find out loads of fascinating history!
N. B.
Great place to walk dogs
L. H.
Very good park, have had a lot of memories there.
N. R.
With a lake to go canoeing or rafting;, an enormous park to play any team sport that comes to mind; a playground and sand pit for children; eight tennis courts and two beach volleyball pits - what's not to love?
E. L.
It's very family friendly. A very Dawson's creekish community. Very safe. Very middle class. Very very white.
D. K.
A great park to walk around in a fine area. Has a pond, a playground and some tennis courts. Does get busy in the summer
m. B.
Lovely, well kept park. Children's play area, pond, volleyball, bbq permitted, café. There are toilets, but they're not very nice
S. B.

K. C.
Lovely to walk and talk to people I don't know with their dogs... puppy play time...
M. M.
Fantastic for children - splash park, sandpit and climbing frame. Then paid for activities available such as mini golf.
V. R.
Big surprise for me to be able to get to court N2 for £5. Went around 3 pm and they were little number of people getting in the grounds. After 5 pm more people are coming, probably after work.
R. Q.
Lovely day at the pool
E. S.
Lovely children’s playground. The sand pit was perfect.
E. B.
It's nice environment but it doesn't have enough space around the lake to sit there.
D. C.
Lovely little park with amenities! Parking is difficult to find close by, found some far away which had to pay for but wasnt cheap!

Camped during Wimbledon week in 'the queue' had a great time and all organised really well. Cafe serves good food and breakfast. Good toilets and burger van.
O. R.
Quite an experience to take part in the infamous Wimbledon queue! Don't panic when you realize how long it is - once it starts moving, it's pretty efficient and there are a few things along the way to keep you entertained.
