Great soft play area for the kids. Lots of different rooms for role play activities. The food is great and wifi is good

Had my daughters 3rd birthday here today, we do have a membership here as she is SEN and loves it, staff couldn't do enough, kept music low and really tried to get her to interact in all games and songs! They where so patient with her, she had an amazing Party, can't Thank you enough! My only criticism is the wrecking ball had snapped and could be dangerous if child wraps round kneck or anything, other than that we live Charlie park :) xx

First time going at it was a very good place to take the children. The only down side I would mention is the lack of health and safety when taking an SEN child . The gate to the kitchen was constantly open leading straight into a kitchen with hot cookers and chip pans on the go. Our child,who has special needs, ventured into it 2s and the staff were very rude about it saying to us " you need to keep a better eye on your child". The point of a place like this is to let them run around and not have to worry about them running into kitchens that should be securely off bounds for children in any case.

I don’t normally write negative reviews especially for small business’ but feel it needs it. I like that I can take my child somewhere to play when the weather is miserable. He loves it but the heat is unbearable in there. There is no ventilation at all and not once in all the times I’ve been has the air conditioning been turned on. Even peak summer. Parents sweating and uncomfortable it’s unnecessary. And off putting I won’t be returning until the weather is much cooler. Also the smell of stale fat is off putting too, another thing that could be solved with good ventilation/air conditioning! And I wasn’t the only one to mention the uncomfortableness of the heat/lack of ventilation. Staff are nice but there is no effort during the singing, nothing to get the children excited and involved. The role play rooms are a nice idea but there isn’t anything in them for the children to play with so just feels it’s a waste of space.

I Come here quite a lot as it is the perfect size for my daughter. It always feels clean and not too busy. Was really disappointed today when I took my friend and her children for the first time (after telling them how good it is) as we ordered our food and her child's chicken nugget meal came with just 2 chicken nuggets!! We queried this with staff and were told that this is standard. This was very unfair on her child who probably left still hungry. The meal was not value for money at all for over £4! I hope this review is noted for future improvements. As a business I would much rather provide a couple more nuggets in the meal than receive a bad review.

Today was our first visit! And overall I was pleasantly surprised, I normally find soft play areas dated and the staff quite rude. But Charlie Park was the absolute opposite. The staff on reception was lovely, really polite, the cafe staff again were lovely, very attentive as with covid, it's table service only. The place itself was clean and well kept and we adored the role play areas! They are adorable! The toilet facilities were nice enough, it didn't feel grotty or unkempt, which was nice as kids places normally get run down super quick. We really enjoyed our play there, the music/dance bit at the end was a lovely way to tie up the visit 😊. The only downside is there isn't a lift, so I couldnt take my 4 month olds pram up, but it wasn't a massive issue, I carried her and plonked her in a highchair. Not a massive issue at all. Thanks Charlie Park, can't wait for our next visit!

Charlie Park has changed quite a bit over the lockdown period. The good things about this soft play are the new little shop areas for pretend play, and the relatively open area. The actual soft play part is a little small and dated compared to some of the other soft play areas. The staff are friendly enough, however be warned that you can't take any kind of own food or drink with you. Even water in a child's bottle. You'll have to buy their bottled water in order to put it into your own child's bottle (if you have a child like mine who only wants to drink from their own bottle). I'm not sure whether this is related to social distancing measures or just so the venue can make more money. It's a little bit silly but it is what it is. Overall, it's an average place to go if you can disregard the extra costs when you get in the play area itself.

Love this place! We live around the corner so visit often with my little boy. He is only 10 months and there's is lots for him to play with, also lots of safe space for him to crawl around. Better yet it's free until he's 1. All the staff are lovely and the food is great, my mum said she would go just for the food! Can't wait to have my little boys birthday party here in October. Highly recommend.

Great little place for the kids to play. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. They also run special needs sessions for kids with autism which is amazing. Attended today for some friends birthday party and they loved it!!! Staff very welcoming and understood all their needs. Great atmosphere and the play area is always very clean and tidy plus great space for parents to sit and have a drink. good food too

Lovely clean play centre for kids. Separate parts for toddlers and older children, food is freshly made and delicious. Staff are all bubbly and friendly. Only criticism is the opening times. Closing at 4pm so can't visit after school.

Charlie Park is a great play area for kids, awesome and safe, little cafe is serving decent and fresh meals, entry prices are affordable, kids no matter the age will be happy for the whole stay, parents can relax with a nice cuppa and keep an eye on their little ones. They also do childrens parties with songs and super heroes which has become standard for my daughters' friends, Clean, fun and not to expensive, nothing better on a rainy day :)

I always struggle to keep eyes in the back of my head in play areas with having a 5 and 2 year old. But the open space here means I can see both my kids, it's never over packed or clustered (every parents worst nightmare) so you can actually have a cup of tea and not worry your kid has jumped off a table somewhere or cartwheeled into a wall 👀 highly recommend.

Kids love this place, good value for money, kids go off and play while the parents can chat over a coffee or have something to eat. You can pay by cash or card. The staff don't clock watch and don't bother you if kids play a little over the time.

Just waiting for a message back from yourselves regarding booking for 2 over 3s when it should of been 2 under 3s also one child couldnt make it so in the end I came with just one child. Such comfy parent areas with the sofas plenty of seating drinks are very reasonable and you can buy a jug of pop for your children which is inexpensive plenty for your children to do perfect for parties they get a lollipop on the way out oh a you can have two hours play for admission

Good soft play, with push along ride on trikes, small dancefloor area, motorised motorbikes on a small racetrack (£1 for 2 mins). Food prices are reasonable and the kids meals are a good size. Hot chocolates are always very tasty. The main slide could do with a polish as it's always been very slow causing you to have to wiggle and shimmy to get down it in the flat bits.

Used to go all the time when kids were small.had cracking staff at the start. Went a few months ago for a party .Carpets were filthy. Chavs on mobiles. Kids running riot.glad my kids are now growing up. Wipe your feet on the way out. Gone right down hill
