P. S.Lovely quiet area just outside the main town of Middleton. Lots of historic buildings in a small area really lovely garden area too. Nice to relax there

L.Great park for family, just a traditional park with flower beds benches to sit even 1906 Alderman Thomas Broadbent Wood commissioned his son, Edgar, to design a flight of steps in the park facing St Leonards Parish Church 1412 or even older than that some say Worth a look theres a bandstand and on some occasions theres a band that plays there nice walk around the park full of plants theres the Ring O Bells 12th Century pub at the top of the park entry and in the middle of the park youll be able to see across the road a black and white pub the old boarshead 1632 full of history inside and around the park even just down at the bottom of Barrowfield the meeting point of the peterloo massacre in 1819 group, led by Samuel Bamford who live just up the road of the park like a said full of history and nice veiws definitely on a sunny day worth a vist
O. C.It's a small park but it's very pretty and usually peaceful. I always walk through here when I can. It's a really nice place in Middleton!
