Very strict parking rules so make sure you pay before you leave. You pay before leaving the car park so do not bother to buy a ticket on arrival. There is a lot to do - picnic, walking/running, cycling, adventure water sports, dog walking, maze, bird watching and sports. There is always something going on in the swollen Lake/Park. Kids love this park.

This is a very big park with lots of activities to do for both adults and kids. Or you could just walk around peacefully. They do have hot and fresh doughnut counter closer to walking trail. Groupon has nice deals for the aqua park situated near this lake. Also the national museum of computing is very close by to this place. Remember this place isn’t open on all days so please book well in advance and plan your day out. They do have paid car park closer to Willen lake office. Cafe inside the office does have some options but would suggest to bring something as well.

Reasonable parking charges. I think I paid £1.50 for 2 hours but I'm not 100% sure as I can only remember that unlike some tourist spots that tend to charge too much for parking here was not the case. Nice walking area play area for kids and a food restaurant named The Lakeside Pub & Grill by Greene King should you wish to stop and take a break!

Great walk, good choice of food and beverages. Lots of benches to relax and watch the ducks and geese

Car park is good size, nice and open so easy enough to park without any obstructions getting in the way, though its a shame the height restriction doesn't allow for our campervan.
Payment for parking is now on arrival, but an app easily allows for extension of your stay without having to return to your car. Costs 50p per half hour.

More than plenty spaces available, very good and clean location . Cheap pricing also.

The lake is an absolute beauty and gem of Milton Keynes.
I have visited 100's of times.
There's two lakes North and South, put together makes it HUGE you could easily clock 8000+steps on your fit-bit or step counter.
Parking is rubbish on a weekend, I visited once on Sunday and was meeting a friend at the restaurant by the lake- I've included video, waited drove around for 15mins but both parking and additional parking were full.
