m. “. m.St James' Park has been the home ground of Newcastle United since 1892 and has been used for football since 1880.[2] Throughout its history, the desire for expansion has caused conflict with local residents and the local council.[3] This has led to proposals to move at least twice in the late 1960s,[4][5] and a controversial 1995 proposed move to nearby Leazes Park. Reluctance to move has led to the distinctive lop-sided appearance of the present-day stadium's asymmetrical stands.[6]
Besides club football, St James' Park has also been used for international football, at the 2012 Olympics,[7] for the rugby league Magic Weekend, rugby union World Cup, Premiership and England Test matches, charity football events, rock concerts, and as a set for film and reality television.

J. S.Much better value than some of the more central car parks and only a couple of hundred meters further out. Bays are spacious and the payment methods are easy
L. “. P.Historic exterior with great bars and pubs easy access to China Town. Interior good above average but modernisation has taken much of the old football ground feeling away but this is more than made up for outside. Stewards helpful, non aggressive. Kiosks good. Point missing for atmosphere singing only at one end.
R. C.Location is OK. Price is pretty good. Lots of 'reserved' spaces (like most other car parks!). Weekends: Get there EARLY, park in the outside bit, have the right change. You can walk out either side, the way you drove in or round the back of the football stadium. Avoid match days/times.

A. C.Cheapest one in the centre of town at 70p an hour. Literally a 5 minute walk to Eldon square or the RVI. Always spaces on weekdays regardless of what time I arrive. Can use the "paybyphone" app to park so no need for change.

J. P.My car loves this car park. Every time I visit here it flashes its lights and honks its horn, which is a good sign. I know the car will be happy when I head off to shop because there are loads of other cars for it to meet and talk to.
