Wonderful well maintained village playing field.
Children's play area, public toilets and a beautiful traditional cricket ground which doubles as a football pitch in the Winter months.

Nice Park, well maintained.
Nice climbing frame for younger ones and loads to do for bigger children including an obstacle course type frame. Good roundabout and plenty swings.
The field is great for kids to run around and it's easy to access walks from the park.

Lovely play area, varried for different ages and very well looked after. Lovely big grass area for playing football or other sports and there is a short walk down to the rivers edge so plenty to do here

Great park for toddlers and children being a dog free area there is no fear of any nasty suprises lurking in the grass. Good variety of different play equipment to suit a variety of ages. Caged football \ basketball area and large field to burn of plenty of steam

Lovely...friendly well kept play area for young children. Hosts many fairs and often meeting place for village. Big plus no dogs are allowed on field which helps keep it safe and clean.

Great place for kids. You can park in the car park just behind the war memorial and then join the trail to walk to the park avoiding any roads. A little further a long the trail brings you to a small bridge. Frequent cricket and football matches take place.

This park has been designed with inclusivity in mind. The swings etc are designed for everyone to be able to use.
It's also designed for a variety of age groups and has something for everyone.
Also on a sunny day, cricket pavilion has a great overview of the field.

I walked through the park during the course of a circular walk which I describe under the heading " Whittle Burn", I was impressed by the recreational facilities provided for children and, particularly, the safety surfaces designed to limit any injury in the event of a fall.

Nice field, the grass was very grassy
