D. W.Lovely picnic area on the bank of the River Severn. Easy to find as it's signposted from the main road through Portskewett.
Smallish car park but spaces were available on a Saturday afternoon
Views of the river and both bridges are fantastic, plenty of information boards with interesting facts and details of local walks, and the sculptures make for a really nice touch.
A. B.Great place for walk with small but free car park. Lovely walk between both bridges (Severn and Prince of Wales) on Welsh side. Possible find some sea glass is wel.
s. r.Such a lovely place to have an evening walk! Nice for barbecue, tables and all you need for a nice barbecue. The car park is free.
J. F.Amazing views of both bridges, the original bridge is a five minute drive, with the newer bridge just over fifteen minutes.
Great relaxing spot, where you can have a walk, seat or picnic. Although the car park is small it has enough room for the steady flow of traffic.
Learned about the Lave Fishermen and the Engineer, well worth a visit for the views alone.
B. G.Love this site. It's out of the way and therefore not too busy. Follow the coastal path from here , both East & West, for a more energetic day out. Car park will take perhaps fifteen vehicles.
A. C.Fascinating place with excellent views of both Severn Bridges. Lovely place to view a winter sunset. Two absolutely fabulous "statues" - one in metal, the other hewn from solid tree trunk.
No local signing down small lane to site.

T. P.Fantastic views across the Severn estuary towards England. You can see both Severn bridges and take a pleasant walk along the coast. Just be very careful of the tides, the Severn has the 2nd highest tidal range in the world

W.great for a long walk, with dedicated walking paths you know you won't get lost or go somewhere you shouldn't, with fantastic views and the crisp channel air you shouldn't miss out on this walk, they have dedicated picnic tables that have raised metal panels for you to put a bbq on. it's full of history and is worth the visit.

The views are good.
There are really interesting habitats to North (easy) and to the south if you leave the path and venture along the beach.

Must visit, small museum dedicated to the building of the Severn railway tunnel. Located in social club, free to visit.
M. M.Great place to walk along the Severn river bank in between the two bridges linking Wales to England. Information boards explaining local fishing methods and wildlife found along the mudflats. Parking is limited and free but we managed to park our campervan without any problems. Well worth a visit.
P.Great for a stop off when travelling through! Kids loved playing frisbee here and playing on the rocks and exploring the beach
N. S.Lovely relaxing walk, everyone was social distancing on the coastal path, gorgeous views on a clear day.
N. D.My happy place. Easy to park, flat access and two fantastic sculptures. Informative boards and Black Rock lave net fisheries. Large grass area for picnics.
Use your imagination to go back 150 years and see trains running out on the pier to send passengers over the water to England

B. W.Went there at 4.30am to watch the sunrise. Absolutely beautiful at that time in the morning.
C. D.Great place to visit and read about the history of the 1800's Pier and see the sculptures.
Also the view of the two bridges and across to Bristol makes it a worth while trip.

Uninterrupted Views of both bridges makes the backdrop great for photos.
No public toilets, at least not when we visited in April 2021.

K. R.I love this place it's always got a lovely wind to blow the cobwebs away and also a lovely view if the Severn bridge and water .Take your sarnies there are a few places to sit and eat them and then have a nice walk and look at the lovely wooden figures .😁

S. N.A great view of the Severn and both bridges, plus I'm fascinated by the history of the former rail and car crossing. A short walk west, along the Coastal path, is the Severn Tunnel pumping station. There are Information points at both sites.
K.Lovely location with excellent views of both Severn crossings. Depending on weather conditions you can visit and come away with the most beautiful photos of the area. Just love this spot. There is the opportunity to walk in the either direction too
