T. S. R.This car park offers the very best view of the white British cliffs by far! You just cannot get a better picture of the white cliffs. Forget about the “famous” cliffs of Dover! This is what you want. The car park gets very busy, especially on the weekends, school holidays and in summer time. It’s a splendid location for a barbecue in the evening and it’s also very peaceful and quiet at night. It’s on a slight slope, but not a big deal.
D. D.Good place to come for nice scenic walks close to the cliffs. Unfortunately the tide was in so the beach was out of the question. Check tide times prior to your visit if you want to use the beach

I. S.Great place to park for the beach, toilets are "free", acceptable condition and ( more importantly, close)
Only issue, is last few parking spaces are tight, and vehicles ( even the small) need to swing forward. Only, this area is full of people queuing for the National Trust branded snack van. People that, having successfully parked their cars, now have no sympathy for the last few trying to manoeuvre. Humans at their best I guess. Given its a nation trust snack van, in a National trust car park, perhaps a painted floor allocated queuing area would be a safer way to go.

D. W.Carpark is in a great location and has plenty of spaces. Just pay at the machine then it's steps down to the beach. We did a circular walk along the beach, up near Brook bay and back along the coastal path to the carpark.
D. M.Beautiful spot with panoramic views. Car park national trust owned so fees go to maintaining beach and local area. Nil height restriction on main section but there is on overflow area. Toilets on site clean. Nice for a walk or play on beach, also popular with fossil hunters and multiple footprints and other fossils to be found along the sea front if you know where to look.

G. S.Great beach for waves. Have to be a little bit careful as there are a lot of surfers in the waves. Although they all seemed to know what they were doing and were careful.
M. 7.A wonderful location to have a stroll or take the dogs for a walk along the beach, the location is so lovely at most times during the day especially at sunset with the sun going down Pcw the sea. The coast guard often train off the coast which is one more reason to explore this beauty spot. Highly recommend.

M. S.The views are breath takingly beautiful and accessed by driving along military road the best road on the island with views of the sea on one side and beautiful countryside on the other I drive it any chance I get
P. &. M. B.Most people have a long walk to get to the NT Battery but they have a few disabled places available right outside the entrance. Probably best to ring first to ensure a space is available.
