Brisk walk along the embankment, nice views

Lovely views of the Bristol channel. Part of the Welsh coast path so you can walk right around Wales if you want. ☺

Walk the coast along the Bristol Channel with ease seeing the wildlife along the way. You'll passg the low lying drained Marshes and the dykes, on one side and rocks and groynes and lichen covered rocks on the other catching the sea breeze. There are plenty of interesting small oddities and the views along the channel too.

Beautiful day and a beautiful relaxing place. Highly recommended but wear decent shoes or boots if it’s a wet day.

Parked up at the Lighthouse Inn. Pay & Display, think you can get a refund if you get food from the Inn. Got a tea from the Ship Wreck Cafe, went up the stairs to the Sea Wall, the view took my breath away. Unbelievable place right on the doorstep, how could I have not known about it before. An awesome place to blow the cobwebs away literally from that fresh sea air. Had a great time there.

Absolutely love going here, especially the first time since this pandemic. I've been really looking forward to it, however upon arrival you can see the mass of rubbish in Multiple piles from the car park through the gate and up to the seafront. It's causing pests and the bins have obviously not been emptied for a long period 🙈

Great for keeping the Bristol Channel at bay I guess. Nice place to watch the ships plying their way to ports such as Newport, Bristol, Avonmouth and the like.

Beautiful walk.

Great place for Sea Fishing, especially for the likes of bass, flounders, conger/silver eels, dogfish, etc. If you do intend on going, please take someone with you if you are not acquainted with the area and take either a pair of wellies or waders as the mud can be rather annoying when trying to land fish by the bottom of the rocks. You can also use the rocks to land the fish, and if you're intending on doing that (In which I'd strongly advise), then it may be a good suggestion that you wear heavy duty cargo trousers and a pair of fine-grip boots, to keep your balance when on the rocks, as I know someone who almost got shipped out to sea and was covered in cold water in which him and his mate had to stop fishing. Best baits I'd say to use would be squid, bluey, mackerel, rag/lug & peeler crab, for the bass. Rigs are pretty simple: Pully rigs, Pully Pennell's, Flappers, Clipped-Down rigs... that sorta stuff, with varying line, hooks, termi-tackle & different sized grip leads. This stuff all goes together, so if you are planning on going here please enjoy and stay safe, hope this helps :)
