Reviews of Old Catton Recreation Ground
M. M.
Large wide open grassy space for children. Went to the little playground - didn't use the large field. 3 swings, causing 1 baby seat, 1 slide, 1 roundabout (seats 4), 1 toy tractor (for babies), 1 wooden rocking horse (this was broken), 1 see-saw, 1 springy seat, large climbing frame. Playground was very quiet at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon - 21.11.2021. Probably too chilly to be out!

Great open space for dog walks, cycling, running also great wooded area for shade on hot days.

Visited here to attend a platinum jubilee fete. Large open recreation ground, with seating dotted around the outer edges, and large trees bordering.
Good selection of well built playground style activities, but more fitness based. Also has a basket/net ball court Has on site cafe and toilet block, with separate male, female and disabled toilets. Not certain if cafe and toilets are open all the time as they could have been because of the fete.

Great little park. Ample car parking spaces and toilets make this a great place to take your children. Play areas for youngsters and older children and plenty of open space to burn off all that excess energy. Hard surface multi sports area as well. Highly recommended. Just be aware that this is a review for the Recreation Ground, not Catton Park across the road which it seems a lot of people have inadvertantly reviewed.

My local park. Love it here, I am so fortunate to live a stone's throw away. Brilliant for dog walking. Such a lovely place to watch the changing seasons.

Best place to walk the dog. Lovely scenery. It's that nice I'd even walk round without the dog but don't let him know.

One of the best parks in Norwich. Large open spaces as well as woodland and good paths. Limited parking.

Want a park with a difference. This is it. No ice cream vans or coffee shops just beautiful natural scenery. Believe this was the conception of a famous landscape gardener. Well worth a visit.

It's a great park. Plenty of green space. 2 parks for the children. You can play tennis, bowl, play football. There's also basket ball & a table tennis table 👍 We love it
