Reviews of Rose Lane Car Park
Great clean well lite car park just where you need it as I was staying overnight .
The price is great ,parked from midday Sunday till 9.30 am Monday £10 .
Ev chargers are on the ground floor not level 1 unless your American opposite the exit barrier.
I charged and moved my car unlike so many which I find very irritating and rude. a time limit may help with this problem
Also on Monday noticed all points full someone said most park all day .
Seems me me me same as the Mustang that parked there Sunday and didn't even charge there car ,really guys .
Bar that all good .
Will point out this isn't the only place that this happens
6 free EV charging bays on the lower floor opposite the exit barriers. And they work! Just bring your cable.
Sadly when I got here even though it said there were spaces, there actually wasn't. But the man who was in charge allowed us extras to park in the disabled bays as there was excess amount of them. So that was lucky. Price was cheap also £6 for the whole day
Excellent clean place to park definitely recommend parking here. Really good value for money not like Castle Quarter that car park is a complete rip off.
Very good as far as car parks go, lots of cameras and is very clean. Reasonably priced.
A mordern car park in the centre. Sharp, narrow turns inside. Parking spaces are not very generous. Can get expensive for anything over 3 hours of Parking
One of the cheapest place to park in Norwich. Overnight charges are very cheap and you can pay at the machine on the first floor.
It's hard to get excited about a car park but this is quite possibly the best I've ever used. Reasonably priced, plenty of room in the allocated spaces and not only are there toilets on site (handy if I've driven you 🙂) but they are of a high standard of cleanliness and decor. Can't believe I've reviewed a car park but this one is superb and within easy walking distance of Castle Quarter, John Lewis and many bars and restaurants.
Easy to park, cheap'ish all day parking (£6) close to castle mall
Whilst striking in architectural facade, this clean modern car park suffers when a mass exodus event occurs...
Bear in mind proximity to Carrow Road and Norwich City stadium it was just such an event where the car park could not cope with the volume of cars departing, leaving traffic stationary in the top floors to a point where they have exceeded the time from payment to permissable exit time meaning the exit queue becomes even static.
The problem resolved itself only when the attendant twigs and raises the barriers allowing traffic to flow freely out...
The staff were not reactive enough to the problem. Ms Thunberg would not be impressed.
It's a car park.. a little out of the centre but only a short walk and not as manic as the mall ones. Modern safe and dry too..
Good value and convenient for all of Norwich. The one way system out of town is the only gotcha.
A delightful looking car park as these things go, plonked in one of the more salubrious regions of Norwich. Bit tight to get into with a larger car, it must be said.
I only came for the free juice (why is the city so sparse on decent electric car charging?), was able to plug in for a free charge at the line of sockets near the exit of the car park. Factor in the electricity and it’s a good value place to park, otherwise I would have gone somewhere else. Like the Cotswolds, maybe.
It's a car park you park your car there, don't forget to pay as you leave 🤪
A really well priced and nicely designed car park within a 5 minute walk of the central shopping areas. Also has 6 high quality chargers for electric cars which are free to use and have up to 22kw of power! These chargers mean I always try to park here when going into town.
Clean and tidy. Security looks good, plenty of cameras and a security guard downstairs. Good location with a easy walk into town.
Good parking spot. £6 for all day but you need to leave before 6:30 to avoid an additional £2:20 charge. Electric chargers are on the ground floor on the way out by the exit (didn’t use them as didn’t notice them until we were leaving!)
It's a car park so hard to gush about it but it's very clean and well maintained. Has plenty of spaces and usually still does on busy days as it's just outside the main shopping flow. Whilst it has wheelchair accessibility it shouldn't be underestimated how far the trip to the shops might feel (and it's up hill). Takes card payments and has toilets, electric charge points for cars also on ground floor.
Security is good and monitored continuously. My preferred car park in Norwich and is one of the better prices ones also.
Clean, well lit and maintained. Reasonably priced and the machines will accept card payment as well as cash. Although not the closest to the shopping centres, it is still within easy walking distance of most of the popular locations in the city. Oh, and the cleanest toilets I have ever seen in a public car park! (soft-close seats!!! unbelievable!)
You can tell this ìs Council run: reasonable prices
Really well laid out. Usually has spaces free even at the busiest times, probably because people don't fancy the extra little walk to the city centre.
Modern, clean car park with good space availability most of the time. Would recommend for anyone using the train station as half the price of the Riverside multistorey.
Great new car park. Entrance is a bit narrow, should've been planned better. Toilets inside are very modern and clean. Not a good idea to park here on a Saturday when Norwich City are playing at home as if you leave after 5pm you may be stuck in the car park for sometime! This is a result of the car park exit being too close to the traffic lights.
Easy to park if a little pricey compared to other car parks in the centre. Clean and bright at least.
Great car park. Safe. Toilets on site. Great layout. Unlike John Lewis pillars everyware.
Great modern car park lots of spaces no tight turns. No need to worry about getting change for parking as pay on return and can use you debit card or notes. Short walk to shops. Clean indoor toilets. Also out door toilets. In my opinion best car park in Norwich.
It's a modern car park. It is usually very quiet (not sure why? The prices are average for a city centre) situated right in the middle of Norwich (just off Prince of Wales Road). It is clean and secure with permanent onsite staff.
Very well kept. Decent space for any car. Electric charging. Friendly helpful security guards. All car parks should be like this.
It's a carpark ? Always seems clean, I can always get a space, the elevators always seem to work and it's not over priced and I never have to spend too much to park here
Nearest MSC to Norwich Castle & Shopping Mall. 8 min walk to Mall. Got to upper level barrier head right to Entertainer store and to 2nd level exit, turn right take alley on your right for Norwich Castle (not open due to major work) Disappointed by amount of litter all around the town.
Pleasant and roomy. Toilets clean and tidy.
The best car park on Norwich in my opinion. Clean, lots of spaces, secure and cheap.
Always clean. Shame it's not a bit cheaper to park!
Lovely cheap car park in good location
Good car park. Had an overnight stay nearby and had no worries about my car. Reasonably priced too.
Good car park, central location, overnight parking. Good rates! I stayed overnight on a night out and was £18 from 3pm to 11am the next day. £2.20 overnight rate til 9 am
Great inside of the car park - looks very modern and easy to navigate and always plenty of parking spaces throughout the day - however getting out at rush hour is horrendous owing to the placement of the exit. It's right next to the junction which cars constantly park over and block - and Premier Inn customers tend to park over the car park exits meaning long queues build up as people wait for someone to let them out. Moving the exits to somewhere easier to get out of would make this 5*
Lots of space available and large wide ramps. Priced about the same as other carparks in Norwich. The only issue I found was that because of the one way system you end up going back into the city rather than just being able to go straight out via the Riverside which is a pain during rush hour.
A short walk from the rail station and çity centre. Modern award winning design and 24 hour on-site security. Fees are £6.00 a day £8.20 for 24 hours. Cheaper than other car parks closer to the city and rail station.
THE ENTRANCE IS TO THE LEFT WHEN YOU APPROACH BY CAR!
This is a lovely shiny new car park; when you approach it through the one way system make sure you stay to the left, don't do as I did and choose right, as you get a bonus journey around the one way system. If there are signs pointing this out I missed them!
Fair parking charges too. Convenient for the nearby Travelodge.
The newest car park in Norwich city centre, very spacious clean and modern. But maybe not the most convenient, as it's still a fair few minutes walk into the main shopping areas or tourist attractions.
Easy to access, reasonably priced. Too many disabled car park bays vs family and EV bays.
Sounds sad but I love this car park! There is always space and it is not too expensive. I don’t understand why people still insist on queueing up at Saint Andrews waiting for spaces to appear?!Rose Lane car park is only a five minute walk away from the shops!
Love this car park, always a space somewhere and it's actually quite nice.
Used this car park twice this week while visiting Norwich. Plenty of spacious parking spots and all day parking for just £6.
Great car park, easy to access and spaces are a good size and well spaced. Convenient for the train station and all of the businesses on Prince of Wales Road and close to city center.
Parked here to visit Odeon cinema...found a space quickly...clean and tidy...prices reasonable..
Good location. Plenty of parking. Lots of disabled parking if required. Little bit expensive but I believe cheaper than other car parks in the city
Clean, well lit, reasonable parking in the centre of Norwich.
Great car park. Lots of space. Nice and modern. Not too expensive either.
I use it for going to the Waterfront venue and other gigs around Norwich.
Nice modern car park with decent sized spaces and ramps. Well situated for Riverside and often has spaces when other car parks are full. Quite expensive given how far it is from the city centre.
Great secure parking not expensive just check the tariff before you park
Great overnight rates - have only ever used overnight so can't comment on the daytime/peak/weekend. Always had lots of spaces when I parked overnight and is a very attractive looking multi-storey car park in a good location.
Well situated, easy to get to (even easier with sat nav) and well lit open car park so very safe
Always a good bet for parking in Norwich as it's a bit further out (but still within an easy walk of the centre) so there's usually more spaces than the packed mall or Forum car parks.
Well-located for the Riverside and centre of Norwich, plenty of space, a bit expensive for a 2.5 hour evening stay
You do not have to panic when u reach Norwich at an odd busy times or weekend..U can give a little rest to your car and take a bus to reach high streets, chapelfield or castle malls... Roselane multi level parking is a place with plenty of parking space..It has also got toilet facilities. Located near the railway station, there is tiny hub of eateries/restaurants, near a cul de sac as you walk along the riverside.. hope you have a hassel free experience of Norwich..
Great place to park, close to the city centre, cheaper than the other local car parks for longer stays
It's really very convenient.
Working 24/24hours and not far from the R
Cathedral
Well, err is a car park and we parked our car. Prices not to extortionate coughcambridgecoughcough though bit of a walk from city centre. Car was still there when we got back, always a plus.
Nice car park only draw back is the narrow entrance and the exit but good and secure parking will use again if in Norwich next time
Parked here for the first time last Saturday evening. Clean, bright, only £2 and FREE electric car charging - Thank you Norwich City Council!
Easy to find via sat nav and plenty of spaces to park
Ashort walk then in the centre of Norwich a clean and well lit car park
Great to have nice clean public toilets at this car park 👍
Reasonable rate and in the city centre with walking distance to all the places at City centre
Good.
Great car park and it's free to charge electric vehicles.
Easy car park to get in and out of spaces are nearly always available as it seems its norwichs forgotten car park same price as st andrews but much more modern
Handy for station and town. Modern unit with stair and lift access and pay in the lobby before you leave ticket machines.
Parking spaces that actually accommodate moder cars! Charges are much more acceptable too!
Big, roomy, bright, easy to find your level. Toilets for most of the opening hours and ticket machines are easy to find and work
Safe car park very clean a bit pricey
Easy to find. Wide spaces. Seemed secure and clean. Not too expensive - stayed overnight and rates were much better than expected.
Very clean and tidy car park, located in centre of city so can be pricey.
Car park nicely laid out although the access roads have changed since my last visit.
Whilst a little further away from the centre of the city it is cheaper than the other car parks. Car park is modern with reasonably sized bays.
Close to the station, plenty of spaces & much better value for a whole day stay than castle mall or chapelfield etc.
Very reasonably priced car park lots of spaces and there is public toilets there too
Nice car park. Clean and close to the city centre. Like it.
Brilliant as parking spaces are wide enough to get out of one’s own vehicle without having to be a contortionist or dislocate a hip 😁
It's pricey! But, you can always find a space because of it and only a short walk from the city. Saves the stress of queuing to park
It's easy to find and I can always get a park straight away when its peak time. Decent size spaces.
As usual plenty of spaces. Prices are better for long term parking. Maxed at £6 per day
Easy to find a space. Clean. £5 or £6 for 5 hours so good value.
One of the cheapest car parks and good position for riverside complex and 10 min walk to city
Spacious, bright and modern. In good location. Fees same as other car parks in Norwich.
Always park here when on holiday visiting Norwich. Very clean & well priced . Excellent
Great 24 hour secure carpark
Nice clean car park with plenty of pay machines and really looked after toilets also
Fairly cheap, but because it's at the bottom of a hill there are always parking spaces! Love lazy people, they can continue to queue at Castle Mall....
Literally the best car park ever. Big spaces and easy to get around
Always clean and tidy, reasonable sized spaces and easy to drive round, rather than the notoriously bad Riverside car park.
Very clean and parking a good rate.
Good for all you static boyz
Fresh, clean modern car park. Always able to get a space. Not too expensive.
As good as a car park gets. Bit narrow in it's spacing style but useful location.
A handy park for the city, reasonably priced.
Good new car park. Pricing not too bad. Quite tight.
Another great car park, as it is clean and easy to get to. standard ncp prices.

Nice modern new car park. Friendly staff.very clean
Good value, cheaper than park and ride if there's more than one of you in the car
We always park here reasonable value close to city centre
Lots of room to park in disabled area near DWP interview place almost opposite.
Easy to park and reasonable price especially if you are planning a long visit.
ok bit expensive
Great size spaces for car.. clean and well priced.
Expensive but a lovely modern and spacious car park
Good place for parking in the city, for £6 per day
Not a bad place to park close to the centre and a reasonable price
Reasonable charges. Long walk into town from this car park but close to Riverside

The best multi storey car park in Norwich
I use every six weeks or so. Quite some distance from the town and quite expensive considering.
Very safe, with lots of lights at night time.
Safe place to park. Reasonably priced too.
It's a car park. You can park your car there. Cool.
Clean, tidy, good sized spaces, convenient for the city centre.
Won a design award but shame they didn't make the corners bigger for today's bigger cars!
This car park had 300+ free spaces when all the other car parks had very long queues on a Saturday.
