Reviews of Whitlingham Country Park
A. G.Whitlingham is a great spot to come to for a leisurely walk. You get a great view of the broad throughout, and the River Yare for some of it too. Can be a trifle muddy at times, definitely recommend boots or wellies unless you want to be cleaning mud of your trainers! Lots of bird life and water fowl. Mostly even surface all the way around the path so it’s suitable for most.
There’s a nice cafe on site with decent coffee, sandwiches and pastries. The cafe also allows dogs.
The car parks are pay and display- they do have card readers (didn’t work last time I tried however) or you can pay with coins. You can also pay online with a credit/debit card. There is some free on road parking down Whitlingham lane- just make sure your parked on the single yellow sections and be mindful of the signs.
M. F.Beautiful and serene area. Lovely for walks, canoe or kayaking or just sit in the sun and chill watching swans glide by. There is a barn cafe nearby for snacks and drinks.
J. K.What a beautiful place to visit. Great walks, beautiful scenery and a fantastic cafe to finish off the walk. A shame our girl can't read the signs though!!!!

A. W.Lovely accessible park close to Norwich centre. Lots of waterbirds. And views of the rivers and broad. Good paths all around the water and sneakier woodland paths for the adventures of small children.
R. H.Beautiful place, lovely walks, and right now the café is covered in scaffolding, so I avoided it. It's a great place for birdwatching and photography.
M. B.Not the brightest day but managed to get a walk around the lake and the accompanying wood. Very enjoyable.

A. F.Wanted to spend some quite time after a busy day in Norfolk, was very much delighted to find this park with lots of walking paths besides the little Broads. The woodlands are great to spot some rare birds species and exotic plants. Good for photography. I would be going there to spend more time.
