Reviews of Manor Farm Open Space
T.
Really enjoy walking around here. You can also continue on following the River Erewash for a longer walk. Lots of people walk their dogs here and I have noticed many squirrels and birds. Very peaceful. There is also open space for football, tennis courts, basketball court and a playground for kids.
K. D.
Lovely open space with playground, swings and all that things, small channel close by, lots of footpaths to follow all arround chilwell long Eaton and TOTON.
A. C.
It’s a field, with a cricket pitch.
Children’s play area is good.
There are couple of tennis courts, in a state of disrepair. If these were improved then easy 4stars.
s. b.
Peaceful, lovely green open space. Perfect for picnics with the family 💞
D. P.
Just over the bridge from a park. River running underneath. There or football pitches and areas to walk around.
s. h.
My son likes the children's play area so we tend to pop there from time to time. The play area itself isn't particularly big but it's always clean with very little graffiti. I see plenty of people walking their dogs but so far none of the mess so a full thumbs up and plenty of pats on the back for the local dog owners for being responsible and considerate.
A. J.
My local park more going on than you'd think lots of wildlife.
A. B.
Good place for Children. Park and open space for them to play. The park is enclosed to little ones can't wander off and there is a small enclosed concrete football pitch.
There are also tennis courts that require pre-booking, a bowling club and a cricket team that play from here.
There is a river nearby that you need to be aware of and there are no toilets available.
J. E.
This is a great open space with lots of room for your dog to run
Walking alongside the river was lovely, the weather was great so that added to the overall feeling of the day
Have been a few times and will definitely be going again
K. W.
Great space for taking your dogs for walks and a run round. I know they love a swim in the river too! Nice little park for the kids too. Shame some dog walkers don't pick up though!!
S. K.
Lovely little slice of tranquillity in all seasons. It can get busy on the main fields but there's lots of little areas to walk amongst the tree's or by the river to find peace and quiet. If you are lucky you may even spot a Kingfisher!
A. G.
Lots of space and relatively clean lots of dog walkers without leads and sometimes can flooded or muddy
J. D.
Plenty of space and paths to investigate. Thoroughly enjoyed my last visit. Go prepared with wellingtons or boots and clothing you don't mind getting dirty.

Some good and big fish

great place for me to take the dog, there are a few places closer to me but this is a nice pleasant space with what seems lots for all ages to do, relieves and releases any stress etc along with some fresh air!! the dog loves it too!! smashing!!
J. N.
So was in this place tonight the pub is lovely but cleontell leaves a lot to say.people with feet up on backs of other chairs staff turning a blind eye god help us
D. J.
There's lots going on at Manor Farm. It's popular with dog walkers as there are lots of winding trails through the trees and by the rivers and there's a huge green field to go on.
During the season, football is played here, there are several pitches both sides of the river.
There's a kids playground, tennis courts, basketball hoop. You can cycle round here and even book a horse ride via the stables over the road.
Manor Farm is full of nature... Ducks, Badgers and Bats to name a few. The annual New Year Duck Race is held here, which is great fun to take part in. Just buy yourself a duck in the race and watch 200 or so bright yellow plastic ducks race down the river from the bridge to the end point. If you win... There's a prize. No ducks are ever abandoned and all get collected back in.
I really like Manor Farm... It's a great place to wander round.

It's a lovely place, much bigger than you'd think. I take the dog there most days. Lots of bins, kid's playground. No toilets though

Great for children to run around and be kids, the park is great. Woods and exploring right next to the park. Also a fair few events are held here, for Allah family to enjoy
R. L.
Wide open green space, play area, tennis courts, basket ball, football court. Nature walk and historical dig site. Also good for pokestops and gyms.
M. O.
It is a nice park with a couple of streams, and a play area for children
S. L.
Not the usual Zizzi service...very slow at a quiet time...owing to staff training apparently...don't think our enjoyment should be undermined due to that...perhaps out of service training or at least recompense for our experience. Used Zizzi about fifty times all over country and worst had
T. G.
Great for a quick run with the dogs, no bikes, plenty of space for zoomies
A. S.

Brilliant place to walk the dogs with lots of different circular routes to take of vaying distances.
A. M.
Fantastic park, my daughter played football on Saturdays. The car park is awful and the toilets are unpleasant.
s. b.
Love it here. Nice area to walk in and get a bit of peace. Shame they cut all the big trees down on the big field.
J.
Fairly busy but everyone friendly. Shame that a minority of dog owners hadn't cleaned up after their dogs.
A. S.
Well maintained open space in Toton. Good facilities here and good for a stroll. Unspectacular, and probably not a destination it itself, but good for a stroll.
